Every year we visit Shetland for the Accordion & Fiddle Festival and this is our third year at Nort Bode Apartments. The apartments are immaculate and have everything you need for a most enjoyable stay, from a fully equipped kitchen area to an extremely comfortable bed, and the staff are lovely too.

We stayed three nights in the Spigge apartment, which is on the second level of a small apartment building housing a couple of other Norte Bode units. The location easy to find and a short walk to most things in Lerwick. Street parking in front is easy, the place was very clean, amenities like the fully equipped kitchen and clothes washer were great. It was nice that a few laundry soap pods were provided. The internet was good, self check-in was easy. The linens and towels were clean and fresh, the bed was a bit soft.

This past week I stayed in an apartment at Nort Bode called “Spiggie”, the same apartment in which I stayed during my first visit to Shetland in 2019. The apartment was immaculate and well appointed, and very quiet. I find Nort Bode to be the perfect location for exploring Lerwick and the south mainland. Parking directly in front was always available. If I am ever able to visit Shetland again I will certainly book Nort abode again.

This is my second visit to Nort Bode in two different apartments but both of the same high standard. A lovely peaceful weekend staying in the Spiggie apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect location. Lovely soft white towels. Fresh Shetland milk in the fridge on arrival and Shetland Soap Company products in the bathroom. Both were a lovely touch. Nothing is too much trouble for the host, Dawn and her team. I was very impressed with Nort Bode Apartments. I stayed in Spiggie and feel it is perfect for 1/2 people. It is equipped with everything you might need. Whenever I thought of something I wanted, it was there. Very impressed as kitchen equipment is often very poor in holiday lets.
I also really liked the little touches, milk in the fridge on arrival for example.

I stayed with my partner at Nort Bode while visiting relatives in Shetland. The accommodation was perfect for our needs - well located close to shops and restaurants, easy to access main routes to the off islands. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped allowing us to eat in when we chose to, and has a very comfortable bed. The shower is efficient, the WiFi signal is strong, and the place is very secure. We will certainly stay there again next time we’re in Shetland.

From the moment we booked the communication with the owners of the apartment was great. We were sent codes to enter the main door and then the apartment, where an electronic key was waiting to use instead. The apartment is located on a quiet street, a few minutes walk from the main areas of Lerwick. Parking was right outside the front door. Inside you have all you could need. Despite the wind howling outside, the apartment was warm and cozy, and noticeably quiet. We bumped into one of the owners who came out to make sure we had everything we needed and asked if we wanted the apartment cleaned and beds made throughput our stay. That’s a nice touch and we were made to feel very welcome. All in all we had a fantastic time in Shetland and the apartment made a superb, comfortable, modern and clean base to go exploring from.
