As its name suggests, the flat boasts stunning views of Ivinghoe Beacon. Town Farm is a working farm nestled at the foot of the Chiltern Hills and has been run by the Leach family since the early 1930s. About 1,000 sheep are farmed on the Beacon Hill and surrounding high ground, while the lower fields are used for crop cultivation. The "Pick Your Own" opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables. The farm enjoys fantastic views of the surrounding countryside including the local landmark - Ivinghoe Beacon, which marks the start of the famous Ridgeway Walk.

Town Farm is a fantastic destination for those wishing to holiday in the region. With a lovely location overlooking Ivinghoe Beacon, and animal friendly I cannot recommend highly enough. My husband, cats and I have stayed in quite a few over the years. Town Farm is very animal friendly. As locals it has always been when we are between houses, so have experienced quite a few cottages on site. This time having moved overseas I was solo and stayed in the one bed apartment, Beacon View.

A really lovely apartment, an annex of the main Georgian farmhouse. Spacious rooms, huge windows overlooking the Beacon. I was extremely comfortable and as a woman traveling alone also felt really safe at the farm. Would recommend Town Farm without hesitation to anyone wishing to stay in the area.
