This is another great characterful Cottage in this wonderful little community. It’s a real home from home, fully equipped with everything you need for a great stay.
I found this quite by chance when searching for suitable disabled and 'pet dog' friendly accommodation close to Tring. Ridgeway is spacious inside and so was easy to move around. It was well equipped and comfortable. The sunny outside seating area accessed via a ramp was a bonus. Disabled visitors should check that the bathroom layout is suitable for their particular requirements (it worked well for me). While we were there, we were notified by email that a fish and chip van would be calling on Saturday night and that breakfasts would be available on Sunday morning. Gravel immedia...more
Staying here in between house purchases, the property has everything you need and the whole family are always around to help with any questions. I would definitely recommend this place.
We were very happy with The Homestead and enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and comfortable except for mattress in downstairs bedroom.
We have stayed at Town Farm on numerous occasions and always found the service and support provided excellent. Any issues which have arisen during our stay have always been actioned quickly and with total consideration. The farm is set in a wonderful environment and we look forward to our next stay.
Another great cottage on this fab complex with something for everybody. The house has everything you could need, the owners are hugely helpful and welcoming and the view of the Beacon from the kitchen window makes even doing the washing up a pleasure!
The room was evidently freshly refurbished so was in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. The kitchen was rather cramped so we were limited in what we could cook but it was well equipped and we managed. A cleverly designed IKEA wardrobe was really useful and held a surprising amount. (We were there for 8 weeks between house moves so had to take a lot with us to continue with work etc.) It was a bit awkward negotiating the steep, angled stairs up to the room when we were moving things in and out. Town Farm is in beautiful surroundings and we enjo...more
Third year visiting Town Farm. Love the location with the Beacon, windmill, countryside. Friendly staff on hand to help if needed. Great to have coffee van and take aways on site. Will be back again next year.
Wonderful cottage with fabulous views. We stayed with the family (including the dog) and this was a lovely tranquil setting. Welcoming and safe environment for all the family.
We arrived from South Africa not knowing quite what to expect. We were blown away by Town Farm; it surpassed our expectations. Barley End was way more spacious than we expected. After a month's stay, we were starting to feel like it was home. The management team were professional, friendly and eager to assist where and whenever they could. It was truly a lovely experience and we highly recommend Town Farm to anyone wanting to get out and experience the Chilterns.
We booked to stay at Town end cottage as we needed a short term let whilst we had building work done. A well appointed and comfortable cottage. Lovely rural location but close to local amenities and Ivinghoe beacon. Beautiful walks and countryside to enjoy. Only thing I would say as a minor point is the shower room cold as only heating is a wall fan. Rest of cottage lovely and warm ( stayed January) - well equipped and comfortable also dog friendly. Would recommend and would stay again
We needed a 9 week rental as were between house moves. Town Farm could not have been more accommodating. The whole staff were friendly, kind and efficient and they allowed us to chill out at a quite stressful time.
We stay at Town farm every year when we visit my parents and it is consistently a great experience. We have stayed in many different cottages and they are all excellent. I would highly recommend this place.
A very good place to sit by for several or many nights. Cozy, clean and very good combination of practical and comfort. You have everything you need for a nice stay and enjoy the amazing views and scenery around.
Well equipped cottage, had slight doubts about being part of 16 other properties but it was not a problem, all the kitchen equipment worked well.Garden out back was a definite plus given the excellent weather we had! One slight observation if table and chairs could have been provided instead of an uncomfortable picnic bench it would have been perfect!
We found the Hayloft ideally placed for a relaxing break from daily routine, while giving the opportunity to visit family and friends within a thirty mile radius.
