We have been at the cottage for just over 3 months and we love it here! We can't fault the accommodation at all - it is very spacious, clean and has everything in that you could possibly need, with some lovely extra touches. The views surrounding Town Farm are spectacular, with lots of scenic walks, fabulous if you have dogs! The staff members are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble! All in all, we would definitely recommend Town Farm to anyone whether it be for a short or long stay. A little gem which we are lucky to have and continue to stay in! 5☆
Great price and great location. Easy to book, swift and efficient. Stayed here before but in a different cottage.Different place but still the same quality, we will be back.
We have recently enjoyed a six week stay in Barley End Cottage, Town Farm, Ivinghoe. The cottage itself was lovely, furnished beautifully and extremely well equipped. It was like a home from home. I have to say the bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and luxurious which is really important when staying somewhere for a long period of time. Nothing worse than an uncomfortable bed! Certainly not the case here. The surrounding area is beautiful with a friendly local pub in walking distance serving good food which is a bonus. Tring station is only a 7 minute drive away which is hand...more
We have stayed at Town Farm on numerous occasions and always found the service and support provided excellent. Any issues which have arisen during our stay have always been actioned quickly and with total consideration. The farm is set in a wonderful environment and we look forward to our next stay.
Very happy with the property and level of customer service, could not fault it. Highly recommend to everyone.
We enjoyed our stay here- a 3 generation Christmas celebration. There was plenty of room and also a good supply of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery which is not always the case in holiday cottages. Our only disappointment was the lack of Christmas decorations! Fortunately one of our daughters was able to bring a tree with lights and baubles. A good time was had by all!
We stayed for a few cosy and peaceful weeks with our dog in Town Farm. The accommodation itself was lovely with all mod cons we needed, and despite the cold winter weather it was warm inside. The area is perfect for walking the dog (or longer walks in general) and is great for feeling isolated while being just a few minutes from all conveniences. Definitely one to recommend.
Finding myself homeless after selling my house Cowmans cottage provided a fantastic stop gap. The cottage was warm and comfortable, facilities great and all I needed. Thank you
I am in fact still at The Mill (your review request sent a bit early). The Mill is a three bed property and, at that, good value for money. It's well equipped and functional. I had stayed at Groom's Cottage previously and preferred that because of its outside space and privacy - The Mill is on the camp site driveway and opposite the children's play area, and it can get busy at weekends. Customer service, as always at Town Farm, is excellent - the whole place is well run with a kindly, family vibe.
The Homestead is a lovely cottage. It has everything necessary for a comfortable stay at an economical price. The location is beautiful and the staff very accommodating.
Whether you are on holiday or seeking short term accommodation these lets are ideal. Plus you have spectacular views of Ivinghoe Beacon!
Great property. We really enjoyed staying here. The location is lovely and the propert was clean, comfortable and warm.
We rented for three months whilst we had some building works done, I gather many of the residents are there for similar reasons. As there is a lack of short term rental properties in the area, Town Farm was getting on for our only choice. For the job it served us, as a stop gap without great expectations, it was adequate. It had a play lark for kids and the location/surrounding countryside and views are lovely. However if I’d paid similar money expecting a lovely holiday cottage for a holiday, I’d leave fairly disappointed. The fixtures and fittings were of fairly cheap standard and t...more
Bijou would best describe the accommodation. Small and compact but ideal for a short stay. Be warned that there are steps down from the car parking area and although the property is on one level the access via steps should be taken into consideration.
We found the Hayloft ideally placed for a relaxing break from daily routine, while giving the opportunity to visit family and friends within a thirty mile radius.
