Ridgeway is a ground floor barn conversion with a spacious open plan living and kitchen area, wet room, two bedrooms and a patio. The two bedrooms are a double and a twin. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, table for four, and washing machine. The living room has two double sofas, an armchair, TV and DVD player.

Ridgeway cottage is a spacious and well appointed holiday destination. Town Farm is set amongst the beautiful countryside near Ivinghoe beacon. We took some great walks to the beacon and Ivinghoe village (about 15 mins) with a great pub and cafe. Would definitely visit again.

Town farm cottages has everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay.Their attention to detail is second to none, fresh flowers and chocolates were left in our cottage. Lovely and comfortable.
This is the 4th time we have stayed at Town Farm and we know we can rely on whatever cottage we have, it will be serviced to a very high standard.
There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area. Would highly recommend.

As my daughter was having a zoo experience for the week at Whipsnade we need a base that meant we could easily drop her off and Town farm was perfect.

Set in the AOSB the views are amazing and just a quick walk from the farm and you can see for 360 degrees amazing views.

The cottage itself was great, plenty of room and very homely.

The whole site was pleasant and the staff we saw were friendly and helpful.

I would give it 5 out of 5 and if I’m back in the area would be looking to stay again

I have stayed here several times, in various cottages.
I have known of Town Farm since childhood, and it offers me a welcome return to see the area I grew up in and to meet old friends.
The cottages are comfortable and newly refurbished and staying there is a pleasure.

We needed wheelchair accommodation while our house was being repaired, I was so pleased this was available at Town Farm which is close to our home. Everything was clean and very comfortable and roomy for the wheelchair. It was peaceful and has lovely views. I would happily stay there again.

After moving out of our house before Xmas we were so relieved to arrive at this beautiful cottage and have somewhere to stay whilst we waited to complete on our new house.
Gorgeous inside and out with everything we needed.
Stunning place with wonderful views of the Ivinghoe beacons as well as extremely helpful staff.
You couldn't ask for more whether it's a weekend getaway or a week in the countryside.

Another lovely stay at Town Farm. Ridgeway is stylishly furnished and comfortable. There were lots of lovely features on arrival - a welcome pack of milk, eggs and tea and coffee, as well as some beautifully presented toiletries in the bedroom. The staff are wonderfully kind and approachable, and very quick to deal with any queries. I hope to return again very soon.

We had a great week. Town Farm was a very convenient base for us to see family. We had a really spacious cottage. Our girls loved the playgrounds. Staff were friendly and actively checked that everything was ok.

Stayed a week in October.The cottage was spacious and nicely furnished
The bedrooms were well equipped with drawers and wardrobes and the bed was very comfortable.
Being all in one level was easy to get about. The dogs enjoyed the enclosed patio as well as the big field nearby.
The owners were quick to come and sort the WiFi problem and even posted back something we left behind.
We would definitely go back.

I found this quite by chance when searching for suitable disabled and 'pet dog' friendly accommodation close to Tring.

Ridgeway is spacious inside and so was easy to move around. It was well equipped and comfortable. The sunny outside seating area accessed via a ramp was a bonus.

Disabled visitors should check that the bathroom layout is suitable for their particular requirements (it worked well for me).

While we were there, we were notified by email that a fish and chip van would be calling on Saturday night and that breakfasts would be available on Sunday morning.

Gravel immediately outside the property may make it difficult for some disabled visitors getting in/out of cars. Staff made a note of this fact.

The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. Thank you again.

Picturesque and modernised holiday properties. Very well equipped, Ridgeway had its own private outdoor space (could have benefitted from some shade) as do other units. Staff on site and helpful and polite. Happy to recommend. Retired couple.

We have been at the cottage for just over 3 months and we love it here! We can't fault the accommodation at all - it is very spacious, clean and has everything in that you could possibly need, with some lovely extra touches.

The views surrounding Town Farm are spectacular, with lots of scenic walks, fabulous if you have dogs!

The staff members are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble!

All in all, we would definitely recommend Town Farm to anyone whether it be for a short or long stay.

A little gem which we are lucky to have and continue to stay in! 5☆

We have already extended our stay at the Cottage, we love it here! Our cottage is spacious, clean and has everything in it that you could possibly need. The surrounding views are amazing with plenty of local walks. The staff in the office are very helpful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend!

The good location offered us the opportunity to escape to the forest, plus plenty of dog walks, in between regular necessary forays into the overpopulated madness of the Home Counties. The owners were exceedingly helpful, and rapidly sorted out a couple of small issues.

We stayed at the Ridgeway for 2 nights. It is a lovely property. Very clean and comfortable. The online pictures don’t do it justice - it is very spacious. They provide all the facilities for self catering. Furthermore my husband is a wheelchair user and the accessible bathroom and facilities in the property were excellent for him.

We chose Town Cottages mainly as a base for visiting local attractions (Harry Potter Studio Tours, Whipsnade Zoo, Woburn Safari Park, Legoland). We hadn’t appreciated what amazing countryside, scenery and wildlife was on the doorstep, both directly accessible from the farm (Ivinghoe Beacon) and within a short drive (College Lakes and the Ashridge Estate among others). This is a perfect holiday base with activities suitable for all ages and interests close by.

Ridgeway cottage was very spacious and comfortable for a family of four. It was well equipped and excellent value for money. We would definitely like to stay here again. One tip, if you are someone who’s woken by early morning light take a sleep mask as the bedroom blinds don’t block out much light.

Ridgeway was set in a lovely complex of barn conversions just outside the village of Ivinghoe. The cottage was modern, clean, spacious and well equipped. The outside paved area was particularly good as I had a young dog with me and it was fully enclosed and also sunny for me to sit outside. Despite the busy campsite when I arrived, it was quiet in and around the cottage. There were a couple of minor issues, such as a blocked shower drain on first morning but despite it being sunday, someone attended within 20 minutes and rectified it. Angie and the other staff on site were very friendly and helpful. There is lots of great walks nearby, though the road at the bottom of the complex drive is very busy with fast flowing traffic.
One thing that could be improved upon is providing information to dog owners re where to toilet them and where to dispose of dog waste...this wasnt clear. The outdoor area would benefit from a couple of chairs as there is only a wooden picnic table and bench-luckily I took a folding chair.
I would definitely stay at Ridgeway again. Although I was travelling alone, it would certainly accommodate four comfortably.

I would definitely return to Ridgeway at Town Farm. The hosts are welcoming and provide information before the stay about things to do in the area. Good for families and playground, swings, large open spaces, barn with table football and table tennis. Kids loved it.

Ridgeway was perfect for our family. The property was spacious and provided all the essentials required. Parking was ample and the property itself was situated in a beautiful area with easy access to Windsor, Oxford, Silverstone and London.
We would happily return in the future.

Myself, my three children and the family dog needed to move into temporary accommodation while we waited for our house to be finished.
It’s all amazing - we all felt at home straight away, the dog loves the fields for walking. From the moment I called to the cleaner and any issues nothing is too much trouble. I would like to live here permanently . Thank you xxx
