Set on a cliff top overlooking Corbière lighthouse on Jersey’s south-west tip, the Radio Tower provides stunning self-catering accommodation over six floors and boasts a 360-degree view. Sleeps six people in three identical double bedrooms, each customised within the rounded walls of the tower, plus their own adjacent showroom and WC. The kitchen occupies the fourth floor and is fitted with modern appliances and custom worktops.

Great place to celebrate birthday with friends.

Kettle didn't work properly upon our arrival &.needs replacing. Top bedroom shower was broken on arrival ( We were informed about this,by email before our stay, however ) Otherwise, it was just great! The view from the top is just stunning!

We had a great family stay at the Radio Tower. The facilities were excellent and very well maintained. The underfloor heating was just right in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Having a lovely sunny on the Saturday we loved the changing view from the lounge, watching the view change with the position of the sun. The lounge is perfect for relaxing and watching the World go by! Corbiere Phare was great on the Friday night and the Indian take away from Noya Shapla on Saturday meant we could enjoy the Tower to the maximum. Very clean and a very well appointed kitchen.

As expected, there are a lot of steps. Those from the kitchen to the lounge are very steep and very tight. If you’re carrying anything, it becomes tricky. This is not for anyone who isn’t totally confident of their mobility.

Ice cube trays would be very handy for drinks. Also, shower gel in the showers would be a minimum expectation these days too, especially with the liquid limits prescribed by airlines. Maybe a fixed bottle of gel/shampoo in each shower would be good.

As the beds are shaped to the tower, the shortest person has to sleep on the shortest angle. two 6 foot people would find this a challenge.

It was stormy when we stayed and the howling wind can be heard clearly in the bedrooms - this is just how it is, no fault of the tower.

All in all, we had a thoroughly good stay. The views were amazing and the tower is very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it.

Undoubtedly the best view on Jersey. From the fifth floor comfortable living area the all round views are just superb. Looking directly across to Corbierre lighthouse what could be better. The Radio Tower is simply part of Jerseys history (not a nice five years to say the least) but history it is. As a holiday home it is somewhat quirky with its circularlar staircases and small bedrooms. Five of us, myself, my wife, daughter and son in law and 18 hear old grandaughter had a great week

You can’t beat the view that compensates for the stairs and occasionally concussion from forgetting the low doors! Third time of staying which says it all!

A unique property in the most amazing location. We were a party of four visiting Jersey for the first time. Our week was full of history, walking and seafood. We must mention the excellent breakfasts at Corbiere Phare.
Since returning home we have told family and friends about this property. Just one negative about parking - on a couple of occasions our car was blocked in due to inconsiderate parking. It is obvious there is a drive way to the garage but perhaps a sign asking to keep that area clear would be helpful.

Everything was as advertised and truly better than expected. The quirky octagonal floor shape at each level would be a challenge for most interior designers but the bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms made the most of the space offering comfortable accommodation and full facilities - note there’s no bath, should that be an issue to you. All towels and sheets were sparkling white and good quality.
The kitchen is well equipped and very usable and the top living area is furnished with sofas and dining table and chairs. Whilst there is a TV, dvds and games in the top living area we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the almost 360 degree panoramic views.
The only thing people should know before booking is that they’re climbing six floors of stairs from top to bottom - the first four floors are of narrow concrete built for military use and the last narrow spiral staircase to the top is effectively a two floors climb to the viewing/living area.
Fabulous.

Some of the best views we have seen. They have done what they can to make accomodation comfortable. Shame no one let us know there was a scaffold on side of tower and when we were there a workman was up scaffold. All in all would recommend and with a bonus of a lovely pub opposite that did good food

This Jersey Heritage Trust stay was unique. You get a real sense of history combined with a viewpoint that is unique. The bedrooms also have their own outlooks which allows for excellent dawn and nighttime panoramas. Recommended.

Thank you for an enjoyable stay at the Radio Tower. The views were superb and the facilities very good.
Just a couple of points;
Bathroom level 3 - there is a leak from the sink which needs the attention of a plumber as the dripping is making the floor very wet.
Lounge area - the standard lamp has lost the earth pin on the plug and so couldn't be plugged into the socket. It just needs a new plug.

We visited the Radio Tower to celebrate my wifes birthday and it did not disappoint. The location is stunning and the views from the top present a 270 degree view of the sea. The fact you are staying in a WW2 German Radio Tower with all its history just adds to the experience. Wouldn't recommend for anyone who struggles with stairs as there are a lot of them, but you get used to it and by the time you climb to the top you'll know what I mean. Stunning. Fantastic restaurant close by too.

I have been to Jersey several times & always wanted to stay at the radio tower. Myself & two friends made the booking at the start of the year. I received an email just fours days before we were due to arrive telling us that a scaffolding tower would be up during our stay. This had been up for months due to storm damage but to only inform us with such short notice have us no chance to cancel / change dates. Fortunately the view was only mildly ruined & we soon got used to it. Was a bit concerned when told a worker was coming to reattach the lightning rod halfway through our stay. Luckily no lightning before that I guess. Other issues were a beatle infestation on the ground floor. Guess they find a way in & didn't effect us higher up in tower. The shower in room 3 seemed to be stuck on scalding hot so unusable. Apart from this the tower is amazing! Great base camp for exploring island & stunning views (& scaffolding). Nearest shop is about 1.5 miles away but easy to reach down scenic footpath. Bedrooms are understandably small but comfortable & spent most of time in tower on top floor anyway. Anyone with an interest in yhe occupation should get a tour of nearby bunkers arranged with CIOS or Jersey War Tours as Jersey Heritage seemingly have very little interest in the subject.

My sisters and I booked the Radio Tower for a mini winter staycation but because of Storm Ciran and the subsequent damage to the accommodation our booking was moved to the spring. Well, this really worked in our favour as the weather was very good and we were able to take advantage of the cliff walks, sea swims and the ever changing vista out to sea of the boat traffic and tidal conditions. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and the kitchen well equipped. The multiple flights of stairs at first seemed a bit daunting but we soon got used to them and even employed a shuttle system to get the food from the kitchen to the dining area - it worked for us!
A very good break and one we'd all like to repeat.

We had a 3 nights stay at the Radio Tower and had an amazing time. We had seen the radio tower on a previous trip and promised ourselves we would come back and stay in the tower, it didn't disappoint, we also meet some of the jersey heritage team and they was very friendly and helpful. Hopefully we will be back again in the future.

The Radio Tower is truly a unique stay. The views are quite simply breathtaking in any weather condition. Sleeping arrangements are cosy. Beds are custom built for the space available. Kitchen is very clean, however cooking meals daily would be a bit of challenge unless using the oven for “ready” meals. Full dinner service is provided. Basics like coffee/tea provided. Plenty of food choices near by, so no chance of starving. Bathrooms clean and spare towels are a nice touch. Staff are very quick to solve any issue that may arise. Pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Amazing part of WWII history.

We were 3 large people, with no real fitness, including my 70 y/o mum. We managed the 70 stairs from top to bottom, it's well worth it. The views, the location, the building.
I would have enjoyed WiFi access throughout, but that would require extra hubs on each level. WiFi access is only functional on the top level currently.

The communication between the staff and ourselves were second to none. They were helpful and approachable. A real pleasure to deal with .

We have stayed at many Jersey Heritage sites and this is our favourite. Its panoramic views of the west coast are breathtaking both on a clear sunny good-vis day or a cloudy, moody stormy sky. Watching the tide roll in and out over the Corbiere Lighthouse causeway, the sunset or the passing ships on the horizon is mesmerising. On a windy day there is some noise but we embrace it by opening the windows in the top bedroom to hear nature and the ‘song of the sea’. There are double beds on 3 floors, modern, basic kitchen facilities and bathrooms on each floor. It is a tower, so narrow stair cases and plenty of steps will challenge you. The ceiling height in places is short but the effort to reach the incredibly spacious lounge is worth it. There is good wifi and room to do yoga up there too. For safety reasons there is no outside access on the top of the tower. The beds are bespoke to fit each bedroom, a little on the hard side but the sunrise views from the German bunker narrow view windows are worth it. Soap, loo roll, crisp white towels and linen provided. The nearest ‘big shop’ is Waitrose in St Brelade but other corner shops are a short drive/cycle away. Easy walking distance of the nearby Phare restaurant as well as rural walks to the cafes of St Ouen Bay and Pulente slipway. If history is of interest, this is a superb place to stay.

Amazing stay. Another world up there above the ocean.
I would like to point out the heated towel rails in the bathrooms. Be careful, especially those with children, it’s very hot and it’s easy to accidentally touch.
The large rug on the top floor/lounge is very slippery. We folded it up and put it under the couch. There’s no need for it.
Binoculars didn’t properly work.
Freezer could do with an ice tray.
All of those points are just constructive feedback. They DID NOT spoil our stay whatsoever.
We loved it 100%

We had a wonderful few days staying in The Radio Tower, the views were spectacular, especially the sunsets. It felt like a real privilege to be able to stay there and enjoy the local area on foot and by bike. We had wonderful walks across the causeway to the lighthouse and saw fabulous sea birds at close quarters. A well equipped and comfortable stay - a unique and magical place.

We stayed for 2 nights, bedrooms are small but comfortable with good bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped but the microwave is rather complicated. Top floor is a great space with spectacular 360 views. We loved watching the ever changing weather and tides, obviously lots of stairs to climb but worth it. Would stay again everyone loved it.

Thank you Jersey Heritage for restoring and letting out such a brilliant holiday property. Words can't describe the sunrise & sunset panoromic views from the top floor of this amazing tower. Great adventure for the family and a wonderfully unusual holiday. We wanted something different from the norm and this lived up to expectations. Be aware It is industrial and the stairs play a very big part in the stay... you need to be reasonably fit, able and patient. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all more than adequate, the kitchen is compact but well specified. The living / dining room is the jewel in the crown. A spacious and comfortable room with 320° views across the rugged coastline and overlooking the Corbière Lighthouse. To top it all a great location and a pleasure to support the work of Jersey Heritage. 100% happy to recommend to anyone looking for a unique adventure in Jersey.

We absolutely loved staying at Radio Tower! Not only is it a really exciting piece of Jersey’s history but the view from the top is just incredible. There are a lot of stairs (70-the kids counted!) so you need to be quite fit! But sitting eating dinner with that view is totally worth the climb.

It is on a more remote part of the Island but buses right outside and regular. Corbiere Phare right next door for food and drinks if needed. Be prepared for steps, lots of steps!! Last bit fairly tight and narrow.
Amazing views from top. There is a fridge up top area with TV, ( take some dvds, there are some but may not be your choice) .
Kitchen 1 floor down, has all you need.
Definitely an experience.

A truly unique place to stay with amazing views of Corbiere lighthouse and surrounding coastline. The top of the tower is where you will want to spend most of your time and sunset views are incredible. Be prepared for lots of steps! 71 from bottom to top and 27 up a narrow spiral staircase between the kitchen and the top sitting room.
A fan is provided in the top sitting room as I imagine it would get pretty hot here in high summer. Beds comfortable and rather like sleeping in a cabin on a boat and kitchen well equipped.
The Phare restaurant at the foot of the tower was very good and convenient. The radio tower is in a good location to explore the rest of the island.
You will truly have a unique stay here- if you can cope with lots of steps! We would definitely return.

We booked to stay overnight at the Radio Tower as part of special 50th birthday celebrations for a family member. It exceeded all expectations - what a very special place to stay. Absolutely everything you could need was included there, and as for the views...!! We had an absolutely wonderful time making memories and I'd highly recommend it to everyone.

Amazing experience staying at the Radio Tower. The location and view are amazing and there was everything you could need in the tower. We didn't want to go out it was so good. The only thing I didn't find great were the beds, the mattress was a bit too hard, everything else was faultless.

The tower,s location was breathtaking,being right on the cliff edge.the decor and fittings were first rate .A good mix of originality and modern comfort.The views were fantastic as were the sunsets and rhe light house at night was so relaxing.the causeway to the light house was a very scenic walk .We loved the ice cream wagon on the way to the causeway.the cliff top walks were very good,such views.A really good holiday well worth it.

Great location for on island staycation. Could sit and watch the sea for hours. Although a lot of winding staircase well worth the climb each time. The bedrooms were cosy. The kitchen was well equipped. Had a lovely relaxing stay

An excellent place to stay. It would be hard to beat for its novelty and the views are superb. We had a great weekend with six of us staying. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

The situation of the Radio Tower is amazing and the views are fantastic! Some of my fellow guests struggled with the very many stairs especially the spiral staircase. The top of the tower was an amazing place to spend shared time together.

We stayed at the Radio Tower for 2 nights for a family ‘staycation’. We’ve often looked at the tower and wished we could stay there and thought let’s do it! We had the best time, the view is worth the stay alone, but my history obsessed kids sleeping in an actual German ‘bunker’ (or close enough) was an experience and a half.
Fab location to explore this area of the island, great facilities and spotlessly clean.

What an amazing stay right on the Jersey coast in a very unique position with incredible views to watch the clouds go by, the sunset and sunrise and the tides and bird life. Very peaceful and dramatic at the same time. Great walks on the doorstep. The tower is warm and comfortable, it had everything we needed to enjoy a homemade dinner in this beautiful setting. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom - great showers - on its own floor which is really convenient. Really special place to share with friends and family.

What an amazing couple of days spent at the radio tower. Whilst the climb to the to the top via the spiral staircase is not the easiest, once you arrive in the glass cocoon you are spoilt with totally panoramic see views that stretch from the south ( including the French wind farm ) right around past the lighthouse and up as far as L’etacq. The tower itself has three superb bedrooms that have ample storage with a shower room on every floor, with all the hot water you require. The kitchen is situated on the floor just below the viewing area at the top of the tower and is superbly equipped with everything you need to make the most of your stay. Superb food at the pub next door, and an excellent walk down the railway walk to St Aubin where a host of eateries are available. Would highly recommend the radio tower as an amazing get-away from it all break.

The tower is a wonderful location for a family break, the facilities are great with everything you need and it is all very clean. The only issue we had was that there was an overpowering smell which prevented us from staying on the second night.

Great place to stay if you are in good fitness! 65 steps from the bottom bedroom to the top! Views from the top are amazing. We visited the restaurant next door Corbiere Phare which was very handy as we did not have a car. Would stay here again but the staircase is steep so no good for elderly people.

A property like no other Extraordinary space and views from the top - we enjoyed sunrise and sunset and spaces between......

Life in the tower requires an awful lot of climbing up and down stairs but the rewards are well worth it......

Well appointed kitchen etc some work would be needed to enable wifi to happen inside the concrete - personally I thought that was a strength - but worth knowing....

The drive-way to parking slot is marked with granite boulders - care must be taken not to drive into these - particularly in the dark

We had a great time staying at the Tower at Corbiere, the top floor is the perfect space for taking in the views and relaxing with friends. The beds are small but surprisingly very comfy.

A few recommendations-
- The windows upstairs were very dirty on the inside, hand smears all over them.
-The rug on the fifth floor is very slippy, it needs some non slip grips under it or to be put away like we did.
-There was a very strong smell of drains coming from the fourth floor, not sure if it was the kitchen or toilet but the smell often rose up to the 5th floor which really wasn't pleasant.

I highly recommend a stay in this unique venue and this fabulous location. The angular bed makes an interesting sleep position for 2 but perfectly comfortable. The second fridge on the top floor is very useful.

Chosen principally to share the experience with our children this time (we last stayed with none in 2007). Very little has or could be changed in the meantime:

The location is still stunning, as well as the atmosphere. The views are simply amazing (weather permitting) and essentially what you are paying for. The conversion of the property to accommodation while very clever will always be a compromise so if comfort is a priority, something more conventional would be better. The climb to the top isn't for anyone less than pretty fit or much more than average height either. You won't forget things to take with you to the top many times for this reason.

An iconic location that all Channel Island/Atlantic Wall enthusiasts should experience at least once.

The Radio Tower is a unique location which has been adapted to provide comfortable accommodation that also keeps you fit. The views from the top floor living and dining area are breathtaking - especially at sunrise and sunset.

Absolutely outstanding location, very convenient for bus journeys and getting around the island.
Stunning views from the top and facilities exactly as advertised, just make sure all members of your party read and absorb the message about the steps.
Reasonably comfortable, showers efficient. Difficult to regulate temperature in bedrooms at night.

Our weeks day had mostly high temperatures with some windy days as well as a little bit of rain. We did see a couple of full rainbows that highlighted the Lighthouse. It also meant that we saw the full range of tides over the time we were there. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed watching the swifts and the gulls circling the top of the tower. There are certainly a lot of oystercatchers as well as rock pits around. It was useful to have the roof vents and the fan in this weather. The bedrooms for functional and serve their purpose. It was nice to have shower and toilet facilities on the three floors as well as a toilet at the kitchen level. I thought it was a good idea to have a fridge on the top floor. Overall a super, special place to stay.

Great location near the Lighthouse with amazing views. We had a beautiful sunset the first night and great views of thunderstorms on the next two nights.

You will get a good work out climbing up and down the stairs.

Only criticism is that the beds are quite hard.

We spent the weekend at the radio tower, a unique place to stay and surprisingly comfortable. Everything you need is either on site or available at the nearby Corbiere Phare restaurant if you don't feel like cooking. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a different experience with what are arguably the best views on the Island.

Gosh what an amazing place.
The views were incredible, we really did feel on top of the word.
The tower is a completely different type of place to stay, we really felt like we were on an adventure. Long winding steps, curved bedrooms and the fantastic panoramic views from the top.
A unique construction unlike anywhere we have ever stayed before.
Watching the waves crash over the rocks beneath us, while drinking our wine is something we will never forget.
A place that will always be a favourite and we will definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at tte Radio Tower. The cleanliness was adequate how we could of been much improved. For example the rush washer brush was so old the bristles were all bent in one direction and the soaps and washing up liquid etc were half empty. In covid times this was not our expectation although would not be our expectation anyway. The crockery and glassware is adequate for its purposes but there are no champagne flutes so we had to get some as we were celebrating. The heating did not work at all in the kitchen which consequently was freezing.

We had a two night stay at the beginning of February. The weather was as expected which meant great viewing from the top of the tower. The tower was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything we needed. The description does state a warning about the number (and steepness) of the stairs so be prepared. The beds are small (and mattresses hard) so if you have 6 adults staying, be prepared for that too.

But all said and done, it's really about the view. So would certainly recommend this little adventure for a couple of nights.
