Our second visit and already looking to book the next! The rooms have a wonderful mix of calm and simplicity and yet are also luxurious in their feel. Very tasteful and conducive to the retreat feel. The kitchen and multipurpose room are very light and airy and worked well for us.
Wow, this place is beyond amazing. Such a privilege to have the entire castle grounds to ourselves after the tourists leave around 5ish. Coffee on the breakwater in the morning was also very special.
Hamptonne is in a peaceful and beautiful part of the island. The apartment is spacious, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The farm itself is especially good for young children and my grandchildren were invited to help feed the animals in the morning and had access to the grounds after hours. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the benefit of a dishwasher, microwave and oven but with three young children would have appreciated a washing machine somewhere on site. However, this didn't affect our enjoyment of our stay.
We stayed in Archirondel tower for a week. It was very special. The site and tower are magnificent, but the layout requires some adjustment and is good for your condition because of all the stairs. The tower is quite dark inside, so where were glad to have sunny, outdoor days. Beiing able to walk to "your own" beach any moment, was very nice.
We had a fantastic time staying at Kempt Tower. The furnishings are lovely, beds comfy and it is well equipped with everything you could need. Our daughter thought she was staying in a princess castle and it was the perfect base for us to enjoy adventures on the beach right in front of the property. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
We had a brilliant time at Fort Leicester with our family. Weather - brilliant Location - fabulous Facilities - very good Would benefit from an extra toilet and a couple of large bowls, e.g. for fruit or salad for larger groups
A wonderful two-week stay with a breathtaking view! We spend 14 days at this charming cottage. The accommondation was very comfortable and impeccably clean. For a family with two children, it was a little on the compact side, but still entitely manageable and cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped for all our cooking needs, though it is worth nothing that there is no dishwasher. However, the incredible location and the stunning view over the bay truly make this cottage something very special. We also loved how convenient it was. You can easily walk to the town center, local shops, and the ...more
This was a perfect apartment for a family of four (with two young children). The sofa bed in the living room was appreciated too. The shower was good and although the weather was very hot during our stay this apartment was fairly cool as windows could be opened on both sides. The children loved the farm, the play area and the animals and the caretaker in particular was very friendly and helpful. If a washing machine could have been available somewhere on site this would have been appreciated too. Carrying shopping and cases from the car park which is up the lane and up the stairs could be a c...more
What a wonderful property to relax and unwind. With sunning views of Bonne Nuit and Giffard's Bay. Nearby cliff paths to explore. Stunning Sunrises and Sunsets!
Bucket list holiday location Had a fantastic holiday Very highly recommended location Well placed, take binoculars for great views
Staying during a heatwave could have been difficult, but with a good breeze, some shade, outside and in, and cool seas, it proved wonderful. Peaceful times watching the ever changing seascape, and beautiful eves sitting outside. Another umbrella, an indoor fan, ( a barbecue ? tho not sure re health and safety) would be a recommendation. Big thanks to all the team.
Another great stay at La Rocco tower. We were lucky with the weather. Sunset views from the top of the tower were stunning and clear skies for start gazing in the evening. Seeing quite a few shooting stars. Kayaking there and back was kept interesting with a little swell and a few waves on the beach. A top mini adventure.
We had a wonderful 24 hours stay at Seymour Tower. It was good to be able to finally visit and stay overnight at this uniquely historic building off the south-east corner of Jersey. We were lucky to have Eva as our guide - she was great company and ensured we were safe, whilst we explored the areas around the tower at low-tide and guided us across the rocks and sand dunes to and from the tower. Whilst the facilities are somwehat basic, for a 24 hour stay they were more than adequate and we enjoyed the whole experience enormously. Highly recommended to both visitors and locals alike.
What an amazing location with an amazing view. It's not easy to get to, particularly as you need to bring all your camping equipment but well worth it. Just the perfect getaway.
Basic accommodation but good fun. Beautiful sunsets and lovely beaches around the Tower. Lovely walks. Enjoyed our stay.
