Our winter stay at Elizabeth Castle was fantastic! Having the entire castle to ourselves made the experience unforgettable. We loved exploring the private beach, bunkers and taking long walks across the grounds while the children played on the grass. It was incredibly peaceful and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Chris, caretaker, was exceptionally kind and attentive. When we ran out of milk, he offered us some without hesitation and he even gave us a lift back to the shore during windy, rainy weather because he knew the children would struggle. Very good quality except for the bunk beds which were shaky.and didn't feel that safe. Location is perfect if you want to cycle around the island.
We were looking for many years to rent a lighthouse and with Archirondel Tower we found a place even more special. The secluded place of the tower even when raining was great. The Tower with its 3 Stories is so cozy, we really didn‘t want to leave anymore. For us it was the best place in Jersey!
The Children enjoyed very much the adventure of living in a fort, and the Adults the beauty of the site, in this well equipped lodging. But it is necessary to be in very good condition to Climb all the steps.
Kempt Tower is incredibly cool and the location is perfect. The tap water was a little gross but, but I'm sure that is just something to expect given the location lol. Will have to learn to surf for next time, so i can take advantage of the location more! Thank you.
Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche auf Jersey im Fisherman's Cottage. Der Ausblick auf die Bucht ist wundervoll und man kann den Wechsel der Gezeiten beobachten. Das Haus ist sehr hübsch, gut ausgestattet und wir fanden es wundervoll, dass bei unserer Ankunft schon Milch Butter und Toastbrot da waren... wir waren ohne Auto auf Jersey - die Lage des Hauses und Erreichbarkeit der Busstation war optimal! Wir würden das Haus jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank
Great stay here for a week, there are a couple of things that could be fixed for an even better stay and they are: 1. A curtain or blind on the kitchen window, as members of the public can (and do) walk down the steps past the windows and sit on the outside seating. 2. The wooden outside furniture needs to be repaired or replaced as its very tired looking (and one of the seats were broken) 3. There was a BBQ there but it wasn't really good enough to use as it had been left to rust in the sea air, so the shelf didn't work.
We decided to have a staycation this Easter due to 2 of our children doing exams and picked the radio tower for the sunsets and unusual accommodation. We weren’t disappointed and had a fantastic family break, beautiful weather and sunsets and some lovely cliff walks. The accommodation provided everything we needed for a long weekend and was extremely comfortable. We would highly recommend it to visitors and locals alike!
We were very happy with our week-long stay in January despite the bad weather! The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need for a very pleasant stay. Located in a charming agricultural museum, we were surrounded by rabbits, hens, and roosters, which made for a very bucolic experience.It was very well heated, and we didn't suffer from the cold at all, despite the wetess. One small thing, however: we arrived in heavy rain at night (6 pm) with no lighting in the parking lot or on the street. Another great stay at La Rocco tower. We were lucky with the weather. Sunset views from the top of the tower were stunning and clear skies for start gazing in the evening. Seeing quite a few shooting stars. Kayaking there and back was kept interesting with a little swell and a few waves on the beach. A top mini adventure.
This heritage let is in a stunning location, right on the beach. It gave our family the opportunity to switch off and just enjoy nature. We went fishing and surfing and hunting for bugs and butterfly’s in the wild. The let is so well maintained and clean. It provides everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay including cots, parasols, dvds, board games and tea bags. It’s perfectly simple. My only two feedback points are I think the sofa bed has had its day with springs felt easily when sleeping and the lights in the bunk beds are burning hot even when off which burnt my three year olds hand but...more
We were very fortunate to have blue skies for our one night stay to the tower. Our guide Peter was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. There is nothing to fault about a stay Seymour. Being in nature and enjoying great company.
We got a last minute deal for two nights. It’s not for everyone, but if you prefer incredible Panoramic views over comfort then this place will capture your heart. We are fairly seasoned campers, so we enjoyed the off the grid vibe. The sunrise from the balcony whilst having your morning coffee and a glistening sunset BBQ at night were what made this place special. What it lacks in facilities and comfort it makes up for in location and price.
Basic accommodation but good fun. Beautiful sunsets and lovely beaches around the Tower. Lovely walks. Enjoyed our stay.
