Our beautiful yurts have been handmade on the Isle of Wight and sit in a private field up behind the renowned Island attraction The Garlic Farm. They're perfect for couples and small families sleeping up to 6 in one kingsize double bed downstairs and four single mattresses on a mezzanine deck. Games room, tennis court, football pitch, play area, restaurant and farm shop.

The Yurts are exceptional and surpassed our expectations - absolutely beautiful! We loved the clear domes in the Yurt (Bonnie) and in the shower/toilet. The Yurts are very well equipped, with seating and a firepit outside - there is also a 'communal' area which has a log burner, equipped kitchen, and pizza oven. The Yurts are very well spaced and there is 'hedge' screening between each one so you are not overlooking the neighbours. Red squirrels are on the site (which was a massive bonus for us) and the chickens roam freely in the late afternoon and visit the yurts. This was a space where you really stepped off the world and relaxed. The Garlic Farm Restaurant (a very easy walk from the yurts) is a must, as is the shop, and the walks around the land are beautiful. A wonderful 'welcome gift' and a very warm welcome on arrival. Great location, wildlife in abundance, and wonderful night skies (clouds permitting). The only downside can be the noise of traffic despite the site not being next to a main road but that did not detract from an amazing few days!

We had a great stay. It was the details provided that were special including hot water bottles, hammock and garlic related gifts. The location is amazing and we were blessed with visits from red squirrels every day. Will definitely be coming back.

My family and I have just had a wonderful time at the Garlic Farm yurts.
We loved the freedom for the children, comfort, style, thoughtfulness of literally everything and location.
The games room and tennis courts and space were really great for us with children of different ages.
The beautiful communal area was perfect for our group size of 10 - we ate, drank and played card games there - which was great when the weather wasn't great.
The hot tub was a lovely extra that we all enjoyed and the arrival of milk, tea, sugar, chutney and of course a garlic bulb was really thoughtful.

We had a lovely week in yurt Bonnie on the Garlic Farm. The yurt was beyond our expectations in terms of space, cleanliness, comfort and coziness. You can clearly see how much attention has been paid to every detail. Our children loved the games room, tennis court and playground and we enjoyed the cafe and restaurant of the Garlic Farm where they serve anything from excellent coffee& cakes to a three-course lunch. The central location meant we were close to all sites on the isle. We were sad to go and hopefully be back some time!

Stayed for a couple of nights with our three grandsons who loved the yurt, the surroundings and wildlife and everything that The Garlic Farm had to offer - especially the games room!

The yurt is so well designed - it's spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. The weather wasn't perfect so the log burner was really welcome - all the furnishings are of a very high standard and there are some lovely touches and nice treats for guests too - highly recommended!

This has now been our 5th time staying in the yurts. Absolutely love the yurts and surrounding space. As 5 families we block book all of the yurts and make the most of the communal areas - bbq, football pitch etc.Children friendly.
Yurts are fully equipped and lovely log burners inside the yurts to keep warm in the evening we would highly recommend.

We hired all yurts from Friday to Sunday and our stay was perfect. Each yurt was so well equipped. The site had everything we needed.
The hosts were amazing and came to check on us.
Out of 16 people, not one complaint from any of the yurts about the accommodation.

It was the perfect set up for our festival hen party.

Gorgeous setting. Lovely to wake up to see the peacocks and rabbits and go for nice walks. Perfect for a family or group get away. Breakfast at the garlic fine is lovely too.
Only down side, the road behind is very noisy. Hosts didn’t come back to my messages especially when we struggled to lock the door.

I recently hired the Garlic Farm accommodation for my 40th birthday celebration.

The Accommodation team were brilliant at helping us put on an amazing event and catering to our guest’s individual needs. Friends and family members having been raving about the experience in the weeks afterwards.

The site is stunning, there are plenty of activities for children and adults and the accommodation is very well maintained. The communal yurt proved to be a real hub of fun and activity throughout our weekend.

We will not hesitate to book again.

Wow what a place! A group of 15 of us booked out all of the Yurts so that we would have the communal area to ourselves which was a huge selling point. The Yurts themselves are incredible and you can tell no expense was spared when kitting out the place. We loved the little touches from hot water bottles on beds to free samples from the farm shop.. it was all these bits that made it stand out In the communal area there was a hugeee BBQ perfect for us all and a table which fit 15 perfectly, enough logs to keep us going for the weekend and fridges galore for the volume of prosecco we brought.

The team were amazing, loved the ease of self check in and we even had silent disco equipment delivered before we arrived which they had set out for our arrival. We also went to breakfast on the last day at their restaurant and it was amazing, made even better by the discount we received to due staying on site.

I honestly couldn't recommend this place more, driving in the whole field and set up blows your mind... social media pics and their website does not do it justice! We had the best hen weekend and I truly believe the biggest highlight was the accomodation, there's no doubt in my mind we'll be back!

We hired all of the Yurts at the Garlic Farm for a party over the weekend. The accommodation was perfect. Each Yurt has a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and comfortable beds. The hot tubs were amazing. We had breakfast in the restaurant - highly recommend their granola! The farm was so lovely with lots of animals and things to do and see. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a break on the Isle of Wight!

First impressions were great. A lot of thought and planning (and money) has gone into the yurts area. Well spaced apart and plenty of privacy. The inside is well laid out with emphasis on recycled/reusable resources. It gets really cold in the middle of the night, even with a log burner. The wet room has low water pressure if you want a warm shower. Forget about a hot one. If the peacock or pheasant don't wake you up all night, the cars on the race track will. Otherwise, a great stay.

My husband and I and our two daughters who are 9 and 5 years absolutely loved Yurt Bonnie and The Garlic Farm itself. The yurt was so luxurious and cosy and very well equipped. Having the bathroom and kitchen meant it was camping at all, but it felt like a real adventure for our girls! They loved sleeping up in their ‘dens’ on the mezzanine level. There was loads to do nearby (we especially loved Robin Hill country park) and the Garlic Farm restaurant was absolutely delicious for all 3 meals we ate there. The shop is amazing too, we bought lots of goodies! Already talking with friends about going back and taking all 5 yurts!

Our yurt was both magical and comfortable! Every little detail had been thought of from fairy lights to complementary garlic pickle. There was nothing more we needed and we felt we could instantly relax with the beautiful views, comfy beds and cosy fire. The yurts are really private but there’s also a well thought out communal area with seating and BBQ etc. You also have your own private hammock and BBQ, so spoilt for choice! Keep an eye out for the beautiful peacocks wandering around too! Breakfast at the farm is absolutely delicious, all the restaurant staff are super friendly and helpful - all in all a perfect place to relax and recharge! Thanks Garlic Farm for the best weekend

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful location of Garlic Farm, not knowing the Isle of Wight. Our yurt was beautiful with attention to every detail. It was spotlessly clean.

Our yurt was fully equipped, super comfortable and located in a beautiful setting. The hammock was a great touch, and the communal area was great for socialising with other families. Having our own hot tub would have made our stay even better value. The tennis court and games room were a hit with both children and adults. Having the option of the cafe/restaurant for meals when we fancied a break from cooking was wonderful; delicious vegetarian breakfast! We will definitely be back to the garlic farm in the future.

I booked Yurt Bonnie as a surprise getaway for my partners birthday! We had a fab time considering it was October! There was a little games room for our children to play in (ages 10, 9, 8 & 5), there was a football pitch, tennis court and our yurt was also on the edge of the forest were they went to ‘build dens’. There was lots of open space for them to feel free, but also all within good sight for us to sit by the campfire and watch them! We had a really warm welcoming from one of the owners who also told us anything else we needed to know, and if we had any questions to contact her! Overall we were very happy and will definitely be staying again!

I've just returned from a wonderful weekend stay in Bonnie Yurt at The Garlic Farm. The yurt far exceeded my expectations, and contained everything we needed. It was cosy and comfortable and perfectly situated in a quiet field with the other yurts far enough away to feel a degree of privacy, but close enough to create a sense of community. Hospitality and catering at the Garlic Farm couldn't be faulted; the staff were terrific and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. I left with sadness that the weekend was over so soon; but with lasting memories and gladness to have discovered such a special place.

A brilliant escape, and experience. The yurt was precisely and thoughtfully set up - clean, dry and warm as a minimum (!) but it was really well (intuitively) laid out with everything we needed for self-catering. Friendly check-in and thereafter total privacy but with easy reach to amenities. Great play room for the children and relaxing setting evening for evening fire gazing. We highly recommend.

The garlic farm is a real gem, it's busy and popular but retains genuine charm and the yurts are positioned on the farm in such a way to give real seclusion.

The yurts have all you need in them, you can park next to your yurt and there's loads to do all within easy reach.

We had a great time and would hesitate to recommend to anyone.

We went as a mature couple but the yurts would suit all ages and especially young families.

The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

We just spent a long weekend at the garlic farm, on arrival we were very pleased with the cleanliness of the yurt, welcome visit from the owners and the little extras were so handy like the tea towels, washing up liquid, tea and coffee etc I always forget at least one of those things. We went as a family of 5 children aged 11,7 and 3 and there was something there for all of them. So much space between yurts didn’t feel like we were on top of other staying, the communal yurt was brilliant for the evening when it rained. I would highly recommend the garlic farm accommodation and can’t wait to return soon!

What a place! The yurt are super and really cosy. The yurt is spacious enough to accommodate two adults and three children, but no more.
Super comfy beds and facilities. The small touches of fresh flowers and fresh milk in the fridge on arrival make this a very personal and special place to stay.
The communal yurt with fire pit, BBQ, open kitchen and bar is amazing and made our stay incredible as we had a group booking for all of the yurts.
The tennis court was such a winner with the children as was the games room, although perhaps the equipment in the latter needs to be reviewed to ensure it is fit for purpose.

Thank you so much for such an amazing stay. We had the best time. The yurts were fantastic and extremely comfortable and well thought out with great attention to detail. We particularly enjoyed all the board games and the comfy beds. The location was great - very beautiful countryside and a very relaxing spot to sit outside enioying the fire pit. We came with our two boys (aged 2 and 4) and really enjoyed/appreciated all the extra touches - the games room, tennis court, football pitch, play ground, open spaces, chickens, relaxed atmosphere (and also the wood chopper was a great hit with the 4 year old!). These touches really made our stay so fantastic and memorable. Absolutely 10 out of 10. (We also thought the communal yurt area was a great idea, especially if staying with friends or family on the other yurts).

We had three days at the Garlic farm. our first proper outing since the winter lockdown. It was amazing. We only left the farm a couple of times as it was so relaxing there. Hugo and Mel looked after us beautifully. We are already planning to return in september.

Given that we’re still in a pandemic, this was pretty good. Due to restrictions, we sadly did not meet the hosts but they did us one text. The yurt itself is cute, definitely worth a stay and has everything you’d need (especially now we’ve added a cork screw)!!

The yurt was lovely and Melanie and Hugo could not have been more welcoming a helpful. Only downside was it was a bit too chilly in the mornings which meant you woke up really early as it got too cold to sleep so maybe thicker quilts could be provided in the colder months but other than that we loved it as our first experience of yurting.

The yurts are ideal for a family. Our 3 kids loved the upstairs bedroom, and the wood burner made it lovely and cozy, despite the rain/thunder/hail/wind that was thrown at us! It was such a relaxing weekend, just what we all needed!

We came to stay with friends, each in our separate yurts and it was a really wonderful experience. We had never been before and the yurts took our breath away, we thought they'd been well thought through and every touch was very much appreciated. The bathroom was superb, bed comfortable and kitchen area well equipped. The hammock / firepit and general outdoor space and facilities were superb. We were blessed with the weather and enjoyed walks around the Garlic Farm (the sunflower field is a must in season) and playing tennis and also using the football area as an impromptu cricket pitch! We had breakfast at the GF too which was nice and walked to the pub in the local village (Newchurch). Highly recommend and would love to return.

Staying in the yurt was great fun. The kids loved sleeping upstairs, lighting campfires, and swinging in hammocks in the trees. And we loved the comfy beds, hot showers and excellent food in the cafe. Excellent stay all round despite the changeable weather.

The Garlic Farm enjoys a superb location and the field of five yurts, which we took over for a short family holiday, lends itself extraordinarily well to such a purpose. The yurts were all very well equipped and beautifully maintained. In addition to our five yurts we had exclusive access to a communal dining/entertainment facility, complete with magnificent gas barbecue, large fridge-freezer and a fire pit around which the adults in our party would tend to congregate In the evening. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and all of us, from the young children to the elderly grandparents, found our high expectations were exceeded in every way.

The whole stay from start to finish was comforting, relaxing and easy! I was unsure about what would be available in the yurt in terms of facilities, however the garlic farm had catered for all glamping needs! From a huge double bed, to a fully fitted and functioning bathroom to a quaint kitchen with extensive cooking facilities.
Colin, the farm owner who lives on site could not do enough for us. He even picked us up from the car park and took us and our luggage to our Yurt in the farm buggy, which only added to the experience!
The only downside to stay in the Yurt was that there was no WiFi. However it encouraged us to put our devices down for the weekend and we didn't really miss them.
My favorite part of the stay was sitting round the log burner in the evenings with a glass of wine and a blanket and engaging in conversation- a true escape from modern life!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable, but a bit chilly a couple of times as we didn't always get to grips with the log-burning stove! Everyone was very helpful, the cafe and shop well worth a visit as well as taking a walk round the farm. Hares were out and about just outside our yurt and red squirrels came to the squirrel feeder at the cafe. Lots to do on the island too. Wonderful!

Had a brilliant time here with our 4-year-old. The yurt was stunning and provided such a great family experience. Particular highlights were sitting outside watching the stars in the hammock and by the fire pit. The peace and quiet and lack of digital distractions all made for great quality family time. Wish we had booked for longer.

I am not a camper so staying in the yurt I thought would take me out of my comfort zone. I was very wrong it was great had everything I could need except microwave!

I booked it on a whim for me and my 4 children age range 11 to 18. The farm organised the ferry crossing and passed on their discount so all was set for us to travel.

Getting to the farm was easy although there are some quite tight lanes and I realised some poor drivers who are not great at reversing so be prepared to do a little yourself.

Our first impressions of the farm were of the cafe as we went in to have a cup of tea and it was very welcoming. Reasonably priced. From the restaurant window we could see peacocks walking around these little beauties were often our wake up alarm in the mornings.

I messaged Hugo from farm that we had arrived and we headed for the yurt. From the outside I thought how will we all fit in and not kill each other but as the door opened it was like a little tardis with so much fitted in.

My four children had very comfy mattresses on the mezzaine. All were ready made up and I had a large double on the ground floor.

The shower was nice and big and was warm but not boiling water full flushing loo so no nasty chemical toilet to deal with. There was a loo roll but take extra as its a long way to the nearest store if you run out at night!!

The kitchenette had what we needed. Not but storage space if you are planning to take lots of provisions I put a lot of ours in the fridge and under the small oven. I had paid extra for a breakfast welcome pack and veg pack. All the items in it were good quality and I brought what we didnt use home. Tea towels wash cloths and bin bags were provided.
There is a table with bench chairs so we could all eat together.
The woodburner was a good send as we stayed halloween week when the night temperatures were near zero with beautiful sunny days. Wood fire lighters and matches were all provided with a guide on how to build a fire if you like me have underfloor heating or radiators you might not know.
The side tables next ro my bed had board games in and my children played monopoly and charades and did not fight!

Outside were some benches a fire pit and a separate bbq with the yurt as well as a larger more communal space with lighting larger bbq and seating about 100m away.

Just past that the tennis courts are available to use with racquets and balls in the games room.

The games room had wifi a Wii, table football, pool table and table tennis table. It was about 180 m from our yurt so not far at all.

Overall we had a great time we were able to travel easily around ths island went fossil hunting on the beaches, celebrated Diwali at Robin Hill, shopping at Ryde, adopted a donkey at the donkey sanctury and rode the cablecar at the needles and many more things and we were only there for 3 nights 4 days.

Definitely would recommend to campers and non campers.

We were blessed with wonderful late October weather, and had a great time in our yurt.
The owners were really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.
The kids loved the having the mezzanine level to themselves, it was exciting for them. Having use of the shared facilities (gas BBQ, fire pit and dining table) as well as the yurt's own was a bonus. The yurt was really comfortable and we were toasty with the log burner on and warm bedding which was provided. All fuel was also provided. We all loved the hammock!
All the other yurts were occupied but they are a good distance apart and it almost felt like we had the whole field to ourselves.
The venue would be a great place to get a load of friends of family together and hire all the yurts.
Our daughter loved the horses, peacocks and chickens, and both kids enjoyed playing in the play ground area. We didn't have time for tennis or football but other families were making use of these facilities and the games room.
We'd most certainly come back!

We are a family of five and had a fabulous stay in the yurt at the Garlic Farm. The yurts are amazing! Hot running water, a fab wood burner to keep us warm and a fridge and stove. The double bed was so comfortable! The children loved the freedom of being able to run around the garlic farm and it was safe for them to play anywhere.
A well stocked games room kept them very entertained.
Will definitely be going back!

What a beautiful place, The Garlic Farm. The yurt was gorgeous. Super spot. Our 7 and 4 year olds loved it just as much as we did. They were so excited to be sleeping up in the mezzanine level. And our bed was super comfortable. Lovely evenings roasting marshmallows on the fire pit outside. It was so cosy inside though and can imagine sitting by the log burner on cooler evenings. Very helpful visitor information and recommendations. Fun magic show with dinner in the cafe one evening. Great tractor ride round the farm. Would highly recommend. The yurt was clean, comfortable and luxurious. It was hot while we were there, but the opening canopy kept it cool. Great facilities- everything has been thought of - outdoor seats, hammocks, BBQ, swing ball and wood store close by. Very peaceful location and handy to have breakfast at the garlic farm. The beds were comfy, the sleeping loft great fun (the 4 year old loved it!) and great to watch the stars. Five stars!

Our stay at the yurts was amazing. We stayed for 3 wonderful nights. The meet and greet was exceptional. The yurts clean and comfortable and catered our every need to the smallest detail. We loved our time in the yurt, it was comfortable with a proper bed, kitchen, shower and we loved the log fires inside and outside the yurt. The wooden seats, picnic benches, BBQ and hammock outside was a nice touch. My children loved the indoor hammock. Lots of thought was put into making our stay as comfortable as possible, even a bottle of milk in the fridge on arrival and some free snacks from their farm shop on the table. We had a great time and hope to come back.

My husband and I, plus our teenage son stayed in this yurt for the second year running. There was something for all of us, whether we wanted to sit and read, play tennis, use the games room, browse the shops or sit in the cafe and walk through the beautiful grounds. Also, just a few miles away from many attractions on the island it's a great base for wider exploring. The Garlic Farm has a lovely family feel about it, and there's something about 'glamping' that gives it an authentic, yet luxurious feel. From the cosy bed, hot running water, sheepskin rugs, cosy log burner and bohemian interior, it definitely falls into the 'hygge' category for a holiday that is good for happiness and well-being. Another highlight were the peacocks and chickens that freely roam the site, and are always up for a photo or two.
During a couple of rainy days, we stayed cosy in the yurt and played board games and cooked delicious bacon sandwiches under the grill. On sunnier days, we were able to sit outside and admire the fantastic views, have a BBQ, gather round the fire pit or relax in the hammock.
The staff were all really friendly and they made sure that we had everything that we needed, and there was a good supply of logs for the fires. We were welcomed upon arrival, and there was fresh milk in the fridge, flowers in the vase, and some goodies to taste. On our last day, we enjoyed a traditional Garlic Farm breakfast and then bought loads of goodies from the shop, which our family were very pleased to receive when we got back.
We all had a fabulous time, and our 13 year old son said that it was the best holiday that he had ever had!
