We have seven beautifully converted self catering holiday cottages and four luxury yurts sleeping between two and ten people located in the immediate area around the Garlic Farm. A tennis court, football pitch and games room are available exclusively for our guests. All our properties are equipped with free WIFI. We can book discounted ferry crossings on all routes. We also welcome dogs to the farm and each cottage has its own enclosed garden space. We are ideally located for exploring the Island on foot or bicycle. There is a private fishing lake 1/2 a mile away and beaches no more than 10 minutes by car.
The cottages can also be booked together for group accommodation of up to 45 people.
We had a brilliant long bank holiday weekend at the Garlic Farm staying in Yurt Ruthie. The yurt was well equipped with all the essentials that we needed for our stay. It was also in a secluded location behind the farm but close enough to be able to walk over to and utilise all of the facilities at our disposal.
An added bonus was the wood fire heated hot tub which made our stay very fun. I’d say the highlight of it all was the layout of the communal yurt area which made the weekend celebrating my Mum’s 70th Birthday with the whole family extra special!
My now husband and I stayed here for a few nights for our wedding and my family in one of the cottages. Honestly it's such a perfect place with the most wonderful communal area for BBQ, campfires, dining, bar area and games space too. The whole place was so clean and very well maintained and just made everything so unbelievably perfect. We cannot thank the Garlic Farm enough for having such a wonderful business and places to stay. Plus you're all simply wonderful people too!! Will defo be staying again. We LOVED IT!!!!!!!!
Little Mersley Farmhouse was an incredible find. Booking made very easy with Melanie who was a delight to meet during our stay. Very pretty house set in lovely countryside. Easy access to all parts of the island being central. House very clean and extremely well equipped.
Loved the garlic farm shop. Breakfast in the restaurant on our last day we all said was the “best full english we had ever had”.
We were fortunate to have amazing weather for the time of year which meant we could enjoy the island to the full. Highly recommend the garlic farm.
We had a super time and we’ll definitely be back. Lovely accommodation, very comfortable. Incredible food and service in the restaurant. Stunning walks. A really smart, forward thinking, ethical and magical place.
We've stayed several times at the Garlic Farm, and we love the setting and especially the games facilities (much appreciated by our 11 year old son), and communication with the family has always been prompt and friendly. This was the first time we'd stayed at Mill Cottage and we thought the layout of the house was good, beds were comfortable and there was lots of space, with a nice outdoor seating area. There were some small issues however - the cleaning wasn't as thorough as it had been on previous occasions, and the freezer door didn't shut properly. We had a very enjoyable stay nonetheless ...more
The cottage had everything I needed and expected and everything worked well although the lounge area was just a little tired.
Great spot for exploring the island and the facilities on the farm are really good.
The Yurts are superbly located. Very quiet and peaceful. Very well fitted out and spacious. Would have no hesitation in recommending the Garlic Farm and Yurts for a holiday break.
Kiln cottage was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable with enclosed courtyards for our dog. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely spent up in the garlic farm shop! It is very close to Robin Hill which was a great day out with the kids and we also did a couple of beach days and Blackgang Chine. We would love to return.
My family, consisting of 7 adults, 6 children aged 5-12 and one dog, stayed at Garlic Farm in three separate cottages - Milking Parlour, Kiln and Barn. We all loved the place. The children were able to have so much independence within the large site and loved the games room and the play area particularly. There were excellent dog walks of various lengths straight from the Farm and it was very easy to get to the nearby cycle route. The cottages were all lovely and very well-equipped and each had their own private patio or garden. One big benefit was having the Garlic Farm coffee shop on hand wi...more
