We stayed at the Garlic farm for 3 weeks whilst carrying out a works contract. Our team stayed in both the cottage and yurts through our duration and had the most perfect stay all round. Thank you Garlic Farm for making our stay really comfortable at affordable prices. I have already recommended you to friends & family and will certainly be making a return visit in 2025. 11/10 highly recommended!!
We really enjoyed our time in Farmhouse Cottage. Although it was cold outside we were able to get the cottage cosy by putting the log burner on. It was exceptionally quiet too and perfect for a relaxing break for the two of us.
Booked to stay at the garlic farm for a little weekend break. We booked the little Mersley cottage. Sleeps 10 however we just had 4 adults. Wow what an amazing cosy cottage. We arrived later than expected, but the cottage was open for us. And little welcome gift of chutney and garlic from the farm. The cottage was very well equipped with all the essentials we needed including bedding and towels, shampoo and body wash, toilet rolls, kitchen well equipped with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk in the fridge. The Yurts are exceptional and surpassed our expectations - absolutely beautiful! We loved the clear domes in the Yurt (Bonnie) and in the shower/toilet. The Yurts are very well equipped, with seating and a firepit outside - there is also a 'communal' area which has a log burner, equipped kitchen, and pizza oven. The Yurts are very well spaced and there is 'hedge' screening between each one so you are not overlooking the neighbours. I honestly can’t fault this place, a great experience. Very comfortable. Everything you need provided as well, i.e milk, salt, pepper etc. Try the restaurant for breakfast as well, excellent food. Saw red squirrels in first 5 minutes of being there, amazing.
Like being in a home away from home. Exactly what we were hoping for. Great to have restaurant and shop on site.

Visited with friends and absolutely loved it!! The restaurant/cafe food was delicious, the quality was definitely one of the best. The cottage had everything we needed, loved that it has 3 bathrooms. It was clean and well presented. The view of the horses at the field from the lounge of the cottage and the quiet peaceful nights were very much needed.. We will most definitely be back!
A really comfortable place to stay. Lovely location. So quiet. Staff were very helpful and efficient. The shop is well stocked with lovely garlic products.
We cannot thank Mel and Hugo enough for their understanding and hospitality, the farm is beautifully kept, the shop and restaurant are both lovely and the food is amazing. We stayed in Barn Cottage which was beautiful, clean, warm, stocked with everything you needed and some lovely complementary produce from the shop. We had such a lovely relaxed time. Will definitely stay and visit again. Thank you :)
