My wife and I stayed 7 nights in the yurt with our 20 month old. It was probably the best experience we’ve had so far. The Garlic Farm had endless activities for the family and amazing dining, as well. Such a beautiful place, highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
Superb atmosphere and location. A gem of a place. Lot of interest on the surrounding estate; fabulous accommodation, restaurant & store.
Stayed for a couple of nights with our three grandsons who loved the yurt, the surroundings and wildlife and everything that The Garlic Farm had to offer - especially the games room! The yurt is so well designed - it's spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. The weather wasn't perfect so the log burner was really welcome - all the furnishings are of a very high standard and there are some lovely touches and nice treats for guests too - highly recommended!
The facilities at Little Mersley are excellent and very comfortable. Supported by the marvelous ambiance of the Mersley property, complete with a great restaurant, shop and coffee bar, and very friendly staff. A wonderful and memorable experience.
We stayed for 3 nights in Yurt Leah on the Garlic Farm and had an absolutely wonderful time. The team at the Garlic Farm have thought of and provided everything you might need and decorated the yurt beautifully. Our children loved climbing up the ladder to their upstairs sleeping floor and having the curtains to separate them from each other! The shower room with clear roof is a great touch meaning you can see the trees above and the wood fired hot tub outside was the icing on the cake. We didn't take a car as we only went for 2 days. We got a taxi from the ferry-quite reasonable £15-20. If we were going for longer we would definitely take a car - there is plenty of parking space- so we could tour the Island. Everyone on the farm were very helpful. Yurt was lovely and certainly benefited from having a shower and toilet.
This is our third stay at the Garlic Farm and once again we had a lovely time. Mel was brilliant at organising everything including the ferry crossing at a reasonable discount.
I stayed in a cosy yurt for two nights as I had a business meeting on the IoW and would thoroughly recommend the Garlic Farm. The staff are very friendly.
Restaurant fabulous..shop amazing, as a lover of garlic! Perhaps a little TLC for the cottage..a rack over the shower door would be helpful for shampoo etc and a DVD player would be nice But masses of hot water and heating when needed very effective. .
We stayed in Kiln cottage for a week... it was very comfortable, plenty of space for the 4 of us (with my wife and 2 girls of 10 and 13) and had everything provided as promised. The cottage was clean and felt like home for the week. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It was especially nice to have all of the other amenities of the farm, like the shop and restaurant, game room, playground, and long walks around the beautiful hills. We'd stay here again in a second.
A beautiful location with great views and walks, a lot of animals on the farm and in the fields. A very good games room for all ages.
Well equipped, very comfortable and cosy accommodation. We will definitely stay again! Ideal location and the farm shop, restaurant and walks were just perfect
