We have just come back from a stay at Bristow's Barn with our daughter, 3 grandchildren and 4 dogs. A beautifully restored barn with plenty of room for us all. Ideal location, very short walk to Weavers Way and short drive to Bacton Woods, Bacton beach and Cart Gap. Stephen very kindly let us check in early which was very helpful.

We loved the location- so quiet and a short stroll to Weavers Way and to Stalham. Big property - it was just two of us and the dogs so we only used downstairs. Dogs loved the grassy garden and the big courtyard. Very welcoming and friendly owner. We really enjoyed our stay at Bristows Barn.

Sue from East Ruston Cottages helped identify this as a suitable property (away from probable fireworks; secure garden for little and big dogs) - not only was it absolutely perfect with no firework noise at all and a lovely garden for dogs and humans, non-slip flooring, crates and stair gates provided, the Barn had everything you need for a comfortable holiday - a fully equipped kitchen, space, plentiful hot water, even throws for the settees, dog towels and toys.
It was conveniently situated for local facilities in Stalham and lovely beaches and walks are a short distance away.
Perfect accommodation in a lovely setting, definitely recommended!

A lovely place to stay for us and so dog friendly. The barn is spacious and the welcome pack much appreciated. The location means it's easy to walk from the door and also not far to drive to the north and east coast.

We had the best time!
We have a dog reactive dog and she was able to relax and enjoy walks around the area. She's not much of a beach pooch but there are plenty of walks from the doorstep that are quiet and just great walks.

The barn itself is really clean, has everything you need. Plenty of space in the kitchen, beds are super comfy. Shower was really great and powerful too.

Fantastic dog friendly property - so much secure outside space, including the courtyard!
Quiet location, barely a car passes the property overnight and only a handful through the day!

We have been visiting Norfolk with ERC for over 10 years & have watched Bristows Barn being restored so it was lovely to finally get to stay & it didn't disappoint! Huge spotless rooms, a beautiful kitchen & very much appreciated welcome pack. 2 outside areas for dogs (a large patio & a separate lawned area) & we had gorgeous weather so could sit out on the comfortable sun loungers. Overall we have had a lovely week in a very beautiful property in our favourite place.

What a perfect week we had in Norfolk made even better by the fabulous property we stayed in. Extremely dog friendly, we took five dogs and the fully enclosed garden was excellent as was everything else provided.
We had one small issue with hot water one morning,resolved within half an hour.
We will definitely return.

This is our fourth time in Norfolk, this property is our favourite by far!

Great location to get on to the Weaver Way and then 20/30 mins to other great areas for beaches and great walks

The barn is modern, with a totally secure garden and totally secure yard. Total peace of mind, if you have loveable escape artists like us!

Our only wish, would be a hot tub! Nevertheless, we booked again half way through our stay for next year!

Super comfortable, great enclosed spaces for the dogs, great outlook, very quiet. Love the craftsmanship and especially the carpentry that has gone into this barn conversion. The woodwork is stunning.

Bristow’s Barn has been refurbished to a beautifully high standard and is clean and comfortable. The position right next to Weaver’s way is great and it is only a short car trip to Happisburgh and Cart Gap beach. The property is ideal for multiple dogs with excellent safe parking and fencing.
We will certainly be back!

We had a fabulous time at Bristow's Barn with our adult children plus partners. The Barn is beautifully equipped plus very comfortable and warm. The beds were extremely comfortable and the ambiance gave a cosy feel. We cooked a full on Sunday lunch plus trimmings with no problem. We had to pack and return early due to the death of a good friend and inadvertently left our salt and pepper set in the kitchen. Stephen was kind enough to post it back to us with no charge. Thank you Stephen, very kind.

We enjoyed a very comfortable 3-night stay at Bristows Barn for a family birthday celebration. Would thoroughly recommend this beautifully equipped home, very spacious kitchen and breakfast area and plenty of seats for us all in the evening in the main lounge.

It was a ‘wow’ from all of us as soon as we walked in. The welcome goodies were great and much appreciated too. The barn is warm and cosy and everything has been well thought of, particularly the well equipped kitchen. The location is great for quiet walks and there are many beautiful beaches not too far away. This is a stunning property and now a firm favourite, having stayed at five other ERC properties over the years.

Bristow’s is a large recently converted barn that has everything for guests and 4 legged friends. Totally dog friendly and safe with walled garden and courtyard. The barn has an excellent large kitchen and is extremely comfortable throughout, perfect for returning to after a day at the beach or walking the weavers way

This converted barn is a stunning and comfortable place to stay. Every last detail has been thought of, there was nothing missing for us. The beds were so comfortable we all slept really well. Having 2 separate outside spaces for the dogs was a real bonus, the enclosed courtyard was great for the single rainy day we had, and the enclosed garden was very secure and peacefully quiet with a little lamp-post so that night time toilet for the dogs wasn't in the pitch black. We will definitely be back, hopefully for a stay in the summer next time. Owner is next door, will leave you to your own devices, but is friendly and on hand if you need anything.

We all enjoyed an active holiday with two boisterous grandsons and three energetic dogs, at Bristow's Barn.
We found the spaces the barn provided suited us very well and no one was on top of another.
The warm 'shower' in the garden was very useful, getting rid of sand and mud from the dogs and and the boys!
We enjoyed a day in a boat on the Broads from Wroxham, which was easy to get to and we finished the day with a delicious curry from a Curry house in the middle of Wroxham.
Our host Stephen was very helpful during the whole of our stay
We would definitely recommend the Barn and the area for a lovely holiday.

Stephen has made Bristow's a wonderful place for a family break. It has retained all the features of a historical barn but its beautifully restored and the 7 of us had plenty of space. With two outdoor areas completely secured you are spoilt for choice of where to sit out and the provision of sun lounger chairs and picnic tables a wonderful extra. The grass garden is a super size and allowed for plenty of garden games with the family and our dog loved it. A warm dog shower is always a brilliant extra too. Even when there was a little hiccup during the week Stephen was very sincere with his apologies. All in all our stay at Bristow's gave my family some much needed respite and we made some fabulous memories.

Bristows Barn was simply perfect for us and our dogs. The accommodation was gorgeous with everything and more you could need.
The attention to detail for humans and dogs from the throws for the sofas, to a warm outside dog shower, a lovely welcome pack for the hoomans, and the most amazing totally secure garden meaning the humans could relax whilst the dogs could play safely.
It’s a short drive from a number of dog friendly beaches, with lovely local walks on the doorstep.

Just returned from a wonderful dog friendly break at Bristows Barn arranged by East Ruston Cottages. Wow factor barn with everything we needed or wanted . Brilliant location, loads of wildlife which our springer loved a bit too much. Space inside was great and enclosed garden was very secure. Five star all the way.
