Just spent an amazing week at Victoria Cottage. Great place to take your dogs as they are so welcome.
From the minute we arrived till we left a week later we were made to feel like friends instead of guests. Nothing is too much trouble. The cottage is an amazing standard and everything u can think of is provided for you and your dogs. I will definitely be going back.
Once again a lovely holiday with East Ruston Cottages for 2 and 4 legged holiday makers. Nothing is ever too much trouble to ensure the holiday gets off to the best start from the moment we arrived. Thank you
As always - peaceful, healing, nurturing.Loads of different beaches to visit ,and perfect for my 4 dogs - one of whom is very reactive -cottage provided everything one could possibly need plus more !
This was our first visit to Brian's Cottage and indeed to any of the East Ruston Cottages. To say that we were impressed would be an understatement. On arrival,we had a wonderful greeting from the owners Liz and Tim. Once inside the property, having struggled to take our eyes of the garden and the fabulous view beyond,we discovered the huge array of provisions, which we did not expect and have never received in any cottage we have previously stayed in throughout the UK. The provisions also included top quality dog treats, which Ruby certainly approved of. Brian's Cottage was spotlessly clean...more
We all really enjoyed our holiday despite the awful weather. Thatchers was comfortable and extremely beautiful place. The area is lovely. Hopefully we will be back with better weather next time.
The Crib is a wonderful holiday cottage. It had everything we needed for our 2 weeks stay with our 3 rescue greyhounds. The garden is brilliant for the dogs, totally secure with plenty room for running and also areas for them to snuffle around in.The cottage itself is very comfortable and homely. The village is small and quiet ,with a nice pub that does food ,village shop ,beach 10 minutes slow walk away.Really everything that us 2 oldies and our dogs wanted without having to use the car.We have already booked 3 weeks next summer.
I stayed here with my sister and my daughter plus our 2 dogs. Being located right next to Weavers Way is lovely. We walked for miles taking in the beautiful countryside. The owner, Caz is such a nice man and nothing is too much trouble. He made us feel really welcome. We will definitely holiday again with East Ruston Cottages because it is such a friendly company with excellent customer service which is hard to find nowadays.
Heather Cottage is a real gem. It’s beautifully positioned by the pub and church (woken by the lovely bells on Sunday). We could walk to the beach and to the beer festival! The garden is small but enclosed and safe for our dog. It’s also really quiet with lots of space inside for two of us. So good, we’ve just booked it again!
We had a lovely few days staying at 1 Chapel Cottage, excellent location, very comfortable cottage. Great area with lots of walks and dog friendly pubs and cafes. Plus the Swan at Ingram is just up the road for a posh meal out. The one thing I will say is we found the staircase in the cottage a bit too steep and could be precarious if you needed the loo in the middle of the night. Perhaps make this clearer in the cottage info?
Our holiday was Fab-u-lous in every way. Not one single dog hair it was spotless accommodation. The cottage had everything any doggy/owners could want. Beautiful location. Have just booked up for next year. Missing you already!
My wife and I had a really good holiday in Norfolk staying for the first the at Rooster Barn. It was so relaxing and peaceful to return to Roosters after exploring the many areas of interest in the area. Roosters is a lovely place to stay and we have booked for next year. The service Sue at East Rushton cottages provides is excellent , a pleasure to deal with.
Away with children, grandchildren and dogs. Great location near both the seaside & shops. All had a great time, loved the barn.
A very well equipped, clean and welcoming cottage with lovely comfy beds for us humans. Very dog friendly with a good safe outside space and dog beds & throws provided. The welcome packs for both us and our dogs were very nice and well thought out, providing everything we needed on arrival and a few treats too. Lauren and her family were very welcoming, provided advice on some local walks and were on hand & readily helped when we needed them. We'll definitely be returning to this cottage.
Lovely roomy property, with all the comforts of home. Having an en suite and a separate bathroom was a bonus. Ideally located for beaches and supermarket.good walks from the door. Fantastic welcome pack supplied. Plenty of secure garden space for dogs.
Absolutely lovely cottage. Beautifully kept and perfect for taking the dog too! Would recommend for anyone looking for a uk break near the coast/beautiful walks.
We were looking for somewhere dog friendly to stay with our 10 month terrier pup. As this was our first stay away from home we h ad no idea how he would react. Olland's farm barn was perfect for him. Safe, enclosed garden, doggy towels, treats and throws on all the furniture so that he could sit up with us. The barn was sufficiently relaxed and homely that we could relax to. He was, by the way, perfectly behaved. Long walks from the door and a number of great beaches minutes away added up to a fantastic holiday. We would totally recommend.
St Benet's is a fab house for us (4 adults and 2 bouncy dogs). The house was very comfy - we loved the sitting room with the beautiful fireplace. Having a secure garden in which the dogs could powernap between long walks was ideal. The beach is 100 yards away - beautiful sand and very dog friendly. Really hope to return soon.
The service from east rush ton cottages had been amazing prior to our stay. They were prompt and very helpful in answering any questions we had. The cottage was very homely and had lots of touches that made it a home from home instead of a holiday rental. Had lots of useful information in the welcome brochure. Was a 10 minutes walk to a very friendly pub(to dogs and humans) that did good food ‘the star’. Was about 29-30 minutes to the beach depending on which route you took and how often our dog stopped to sniff . The welcome pack was a lovely touch which we really enjoyed. We definitely wo...more
As always badgers retreat was spotlessly clean on arrival and Susan had made a beautiful marmalade cake which was just perfect with a cuppa after a long journey. The cottage has everything you could need and is set in a beautiful location with a wealth of outstanding aytractions (both natural and man made)nearby.
Always love coming back to The Lodge after staying here over the past few years, however as the hedging has grown around the small garden, although providing privacy, has now become quite claustrophobic. This bathroom cabinet has been removed, and there is now nowhere to store personal things in the shower room. Safe and secure small garden, and so near to lovely walks, it still remains a homely place to return to.
Red Roofs is the perfect dog friendly house for pottering about on and off the Broad. Great service too!
We had a lovely week at Milestone Barn! The Barn was perfect for us and our black Lab Polly. We all loved the garden (especially with the amazing weather we had) and the dog walks straight from the door were great. The location was really good, with dog friendly beaches close by and Cromer when we fancied fresh seafood. The cottage was clean and well equipped, we will definitely be back (we want to come back in the Autumn as the log burner looks like it will be so cosy!).
We enjoyed a lovely sunny weekend at wind in the willows. The gypsy hut is wonderfully made and is very comfortable for a weekend away. There was enough space for 2 adults and a labrador. The kitchen and bathroom are in an external building and had everything that you would need for a few days. The location was excellent very peaceful and easily accessible to local walks and the beach was a short drive away.
