What an amazing property exceeded all expectations. Truly dog friendly equipped with everything you could need.
If you like waking up to the sound of the sea this is the place to stay. If you dogs are beach monsters it’s perfect. Anne the owner is a lovely lady & she was in touch with us before we arrived. Lots of lovely goodies left for us & the boys, the garden is fully secure with a nice big table, a BBQ & an outside tap for sandy feet & paws. The rest of the house is well equipped with everything you need for a week away by the sea. We would definitely book again Another great ERC property
This was our first stay at Lighthouse cottage for my wife and our two friends plus our dogs Very well appointed barn conversion with everything you might need catered for This is a 5 star hotel for dogs with well behaved humans Invited We will return
The most dog friendly place we have stayed. Even if you had forgotten everything for your dog such as bed and leads they would be able to provide it for you. There is a good sized garden for plenty of zooming and places for the humans to sit and watch the sun go down. The owners provide a welcome pack including homemade cake.brownies, bread and marmalade. The dogs even have their own welcome pack of dog essentials such as poo bags and dog wipes but more importantly biscuits! Beaches and other places of interest are only a short drive away with walks straight from the door.
We had a great week at this fabulous property. Six adults and four dogs, everything has been thought of and nothing is lacking. Great walks to the beach, and also walks to couple of pubs. A real treat was the seals at Horsey Beach. We would definitely recommend and are hoping to revisit.
Staying at The Walnut was the highlight of our year so far. It was very relaxing and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The hottub was a treat for us and being able to not worry about the dog as he had his own treats was lovely. We really loved the surrounding area and hope to be back soon.
We booked this cottage at the last minute for three nights and had a wonderful time. The open plan set up downstairs really worked for the family and the dog was super relaxed. The owners were really friendly and accommodating.
After last year’s stay we didn’t hesitate to book again and White Cottage was a joy to spend more time at. Everything you need to relax, a great garden to lounge in, and a perfect place from which to explore the Norfolk Coast. Highly recommended.
A quirky gem in a beautiful location. So many things thought of here to make your stay relaxing. Superb location.
Really loved Wagtail Cottage - immaculate throughout, very well equipped and everything possible had been thought about for dogs and humans, with lots of lovely touches throughout. Garden was lovely to sit in - dogs enjoyed the variety of sunbathing on the path stones and the grass when it got hot and just pottering around. Also very secure for small and large dogs. So many walks straight from the door, which were great for reactive dogs, as hardly saw anyone on those walks, all through lovely countryside. Highly recommend a stay here.
The cottage was very clean and well maintained. It had a secure garden for the dog and everything we needed, dog bed, hairdryer, well equipped kitchen etc. There was attention to detail though and it was great to find toiletries in the bathroom and gorgeous cake, jam, honey, and treats in the kitchen, along with milk, bread and butter. Even the dog had her own welcome basket of goodies. The location for walks was perfect. Close to miles of quiet beach but lots of inland places to walk to as well (including various pubs-all dog friendly.) A few paces away from the cottage is a pub and there is a...more
On arrival there was a lovely goody box and a home made cake. Then Tracey went and got us fish and chips! The cottage was immaculately clean and furnished to a high standard with a very comfortable bed. We were there in the heat wave and an air conditioning unit had been provided. Lots of ice in the deep freeze. Ideal location being near to a footpath and 3/4 mile walk to the dog friendly beach. Only disadvantage being the picket fence is a bit low for our dogs. Tracey gave us useful advice about suitable places to take our dogs in hot weather and went out of her way to be helpful.
Our 2nd visit to this lovely, well-equipped home from home. Hidden Gem has everything for a truly relaxing, tranquil holiday. Superb location ✅Perfect walks from the door✅Comfortable✅Spacious✅Well-equipped✅Super dog-friendly✅Great owners✅ We've walked for miles along the glorious beaches in beautiful weather with our golden retriever and can't wait to return in 2023. Already booked
What a wonderful place to spend a thoroughly relaxing few days. My wife and I have spent the last few Summers holidaying in and around Norfolk, but even more so since we have been bolstered by two lively Cockapoos. Our older dog is reactive and can be nervous, but he loved Rooster Barn. The villagers were so friendly, the shop and Pub especially welcoming. The area is beautiful and we had a fantastic time exploring, but also just relaxing. My wife and I have very intense, demanding jobs and relaxing and switching off can be very difficult, but not here! Within a couple of days we both felt...more
Wow! We absolutely loved our stay at The Crib. Amazing location in the lovely village of Happisburgh, a very short walk to the gorgeous beach. The cottage is so comfy and clean and spacious. Has such a homely feel with lots of pictures and gorgeous hound and seaside themed items. Wonderfully comfortable extra king size bed. The large kitchen is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need, also lots of things for dogs, 4 large beds, towels, first-aid kit, bowls, coats, spare leads, etc, etc. Biscuits for dogs and amazing vegan welcome goodies for me. We really appreciated the littl...more
Had a fabulous weeks stay at St Benets. Great location a few minutes from lovely Sea Palling beach and a very secure garden - duly tested rigorously by my smallest dog! The house was a real home from home to stay in, comfy beds and well equipped. Lovely welcome pack was much appreciated. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again.
This property was perfect for the dogs, lots of safe space for them to burn off their energy. Having use of crates was a huge bonus too.
We had a wonderful week in this beautiful little home. It is much bigger inside than expected and very comfortable for the 3 of us and 2 dogs. It is in a perfect location in a wonderful village, I have completely fallen in love with Winterton on Sea and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
First time taking our 3 dogs away (1 being an anxious and reactive pup) we were a little nervous, but our worries were put to ease right from booking through fantastic communication from the owners and Sue at ERC. The Grove is kitted out with everything you could possibly need, as well as special little touches such as welcome nibbles, drinks and doggie biscuits. Large, secure garden to allow for off the lead zoomies and quiet country walks right on the doorstep. Within very short driving distance of lots of local dog friendly beaches and coastal walks. Looking forward to our next visit alread...more
Skylark provided us with an ideal base to explore Winterton and the surrounding area. The chalet is ideally situated within Winterton Valley Estate, easy to locate and get to after parking your car. The location was so peaceful, and not overlooked, which allowed us to really relax and make the most of the lovely weather, spending time outdoors and making use of the outdoor games supplied for our use. The chalet is surprisingly comfortable and makes good use of the small space available. We never felt cramped in. The kitchen facilities are a real bonus, including the slow cooker...more
Our first stay at Heather Cottage but would love to stay again. It really is the cottage with everything you could wish for - clean, well-equipped, beautifully designed, short walk to the beach, an even shorter walk [stumble] to the pub, and friendly neighbours as well!! I just can’t fault it, we all loved our stay so much - humans and the dogs! Thank you so much
Very peaceful holiday, cottage very well equipped with new items. Very short walk to the beautiful long beach, lovely for a early morning and late evening walk with dogs. If you want a peaceful getaway it's ideal. There was a very nice welcome pack awaiting including doggy treats too.
This is an amazing property set in a quiet location and just a short drive or walk to the beach or the shops. There is an amazing array of welcome gifts and information supplied from the host which was really appreciated. The enclosed garden is ideal for reactive dogs. The property gives ample space for all the guests to relax and enjoy. The beds are super comfy and appreciated after long days out walking and exploring the local area. If the weather is not so good, there is a great games room with something for everyone. Would certainly recommend this property to others.
Lots of thoughtful features/additions that made our time here an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Thank you.
Plenty of space for family and our three dogs who enjoyed the spacious, secure garden. Misty Meadow is in a lovely village with pleasant, busy, dog friendly pub serving very good food. The t.v was hardly used by us but had plenty of viewing options. The dogs very well accommodated, kitchen and utility room well appointed and hot tub welcomed. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The weather was so sunny and hot that the pergola around the tub and the tables could have done with roof/umbrellas during the day. The mosquitoes were a problem for those of us who were most sensitive to their ...more
What can we say they thought of everything in this cottage both for the doggies and humans. From the second we booked the whole process was seamless with communication throughout of the booking our upcoming stay and after we had left. I would really recommend this company. The cottage had all the mod cons a beautiful hot tub and the master bedroom and en-suite were just beautiful with views to die for. All the dog essentials were catered for with treats upon arrival and cake for ourselves. The beach was literally a minute away and quiet and perfect for the dogs and kids. Days out were p...more
The perfect, relaxing, destressing holiday with a human reactive girl, Breagha and a newly rescued Greyhound, Ernie, is staying at Holmes House. Warmly welcomed by Caz, the owner. A lovely gentleman who understands reactive dogs and lets them be, whilst showing us around his idyllic home and having a lovely chat. Sitting outside with a glass of wine knowing that the dogs were safe to play was heaven sent. Our Ernie learned to doggie play with the rest of his new pack here and he went to the beach for the very first time. He also enjoyed a doggie afternoon tea at The Doggie Diner in Cromer ...more
We went for a super short notice cancellation and we’re absolutely delighted we did. Two adults, and an older teen, with three Pointers made for a little juggling on the sofas, but the cottage is packed full of everything you could possibly need for dogs and humans too! In the beautiful village of Trunch, with walks from the door to die for. It was truly idyllic, and we couldn’t have wished for more. Great pub, well stocked shop, and near the Broads and beaches and stunning countryside, but away from the crowds. Perfect for us!
Stephen has made Bristow's a wonderful place for a family break. It has retained all the features of a historical barn but its beautifully restored and the 7 of us had plenty of space. With two outdoor areas completely secured you are spoilt for choice of where to sit out and the provision of sun lounger chairs and picnic tables a wonderful extra. The grass garden is a super size and allowed for plenty of garden games with the family and our dog loved it. A warm dog shower is always a brilliant extra too. Even when there was a little hiccup during the week Stephen was very sincere with his apo...more
Main priority was suitability for the dogs and this easily met our expectations. A clean and fresh ambience with views over the garden and out beyond the fields. Large meadow opposite for letting dogs off. Easy access to local beaches, pubs and restaurants. Loads of local wildlife. Owls, kestrels, bees, butterflies, deer etc
This was an excellent location and space for the two of us and out two dogs. Excellent provision for dogs including 2 very good large dog beds. Our bed was very comfortable too. The dogs loved having an enclosed garden and the walks from the door along Weavers Way were great. Responsiveness was excellent when we had a problem (of our own making!) and someone was there to help within 10 minutes. Overall just what we had needed after a long and difficult year. Thank you.
Location was wonderful, but both the double bed and the sofa bed had slats fall out. Still fab time.
Just returned from a weeks stay at Milestone barn with our 6 month old puppy and the cottage did not disappoint. The cottage was very clean on arrival and had everything in it you might need and was lovely and peaceful. There are walks straight from the house if you don't want to drive, but the beach is only a few minutes away by car anyway. Loved Holt and Bacton national parks, perfect for some cooler dog walks in the warm weather! Would definitely return!
We had a wonderful stay at Deepdale cottage it was a family holiday ,grown up son and partner,7 yo grandaughter and along with us was our 15 yo dog Lily,we all had a really fabulous holiday. The cottage, garden, proximity to the beach and lovely country walks was perfect. The excellent Sue at East Rushton even arranged a dog buggy for our dog as she gets tired.A beautiful welcome tray was a great surprise too.Highly recommend booking you wont be disappointed.5 star plus added bonus of chickens and ducks next door !!
Had a really nice time lovely cottage very comfy and lovely views and quiet the host are second to none really nice people Richard and Terri and very approachable lovely lovely people nothing to much trouble great time well worth visiting
The property its self is larger and spacious. If not a little uncared for. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. The crowning glory of this property is no doubt the very large and safe garden. At the back and the stunning vue from the front.
