We have just had a lovely week where we could walk out the front door with the dogs off lead straight down to the beach.
We have 3 grown children, with partners, one grandchild and 5 dogs in total so finding accommodation where we can all meet up is not easy. Whilst not all of them were on this trip we cannot rate Seaview Cottage highly enough when there are only 6 adults. The owner had thought of everything we needed for a dog friendly holiday and to top it off a beautiful homemade cake was waiting for us on arrival, especially gluten free, as ERC checked for allergy information before we arrived. Even those of us who do not require gluten free food enjoyed it. The safe enclosed garden was brilliant for the 4 dogs we have between us and our grown up children. And it was our 6 week old granddaughters first ever holiday too and the downstairs bedroom made life easy for her parents. The cottage was ideally located for visiting places like Cromer & Wells Next The Sea to the north and down to Horsey Gap to see the gray seals in the south. The seals were the highlight of the week as was the walk around the estate at Blickling Hall. I could ramble on for hours about the good things about our holiday but one thing for certain is next time we want to visit Norfolk we will definately re-book Seaview Cottage.

Our first visit to Seaview Cottage & what a great week it was! A 1 minute walk to the beach, a top floor suite with amazing views of the sea & a super enclosed garden for the dogs. The cottage was filled with lots of extra touches, Leonie's famous cake went down a treat & 2 very happy but tired dogs had the best time exploring the area. The weather was OK, we caught up with some friends, went swimming in the sea & a spot of fishing at Potter Heigham. A fabulous week in our happy place.

We all had a wonderful holiday at Seaview. The dogs loved the beach running in and out of the sea. The local pubs and eating houses were very good. The cottage was clean and tidy, and had a wonderful sea view. Well worth considering again at some time.

We have just returned from a x4 night stay at seaview cottage in Bacton. All of us including my x 3 dogs thought it was perfect for what we needed.
The house was well stocked with all the provisions you could need.
The location was great for beach access and local shops and takeaways.
The track up to the cottage was a little bumpy and uneven.
Overall though it was amazing and we can’t wait to come back

Seaview Cottage is a Norfolk gem. Probably built around a century ago, the cottage has been sympathetically extended to provide very spacious and comfortable accommodation. The fully enclosed garden, with access to the front of the house, is a huge bonus as it is equipped with a hot/cold shower that, given the slightly dodgy weather, was used daily.
The owner supplies all kinds of equipment to cope with dogs large and small, including dog beds, towels and bowls.
The sandy beach is barely 2 minutes away, and encourages long, healthy walks to build an appetite for sampling the delights of Norfolk farm produce.

We had a lovely time. beautiful cottage. Very short walk to the beach. The path to the beach runs right past the lounge window , which can cause the dogs to bark when people walk past. The local cafe and pub are very dog friendly.

Loved this cottage, spacious with 4 double beds, comfortable, warm and small welcoming touches. Secure garden for the dog. Private and close to the beach.
It was well equipped , only negative was the sofa has lost its firmness and you struggle to get out.

Our stay was amazing. Everything we needed was at the cottage, it was so easy to walk the dogs and shower them off after. The location is stunning the area is so dog friendly. I cannot fault the cottage or the holiday and I look forward to returning

Lovely cottage, clean, comfortable & 2 minute walk to miles of sand. We had a lovely relaxing week, the weather was perfect to take our dogs for long beach walks then back to snooze on the comfy sofas. The house had everything we needed. The garden was totally secure. The owner was only a telephone call away if needed & the delicious welcoming cake on arrival was a kind touch.
We are definitely going back next year.

This was our second stay at Seaview. The cottage is welcoming clean and cosy. A lovely jacuzzi bath upstairs is very welcoming. The location couldn’t be more perfect. Walk to the top of the road to the wonderful expanse of beach very dog friendly. Cafe Carmel in walking distance which is a great vegan cafe and dogs are allowed on the sofas. Also a short walk away Is watsons cafe serving great breakfasts and other food also dog friendly. You also have a dog friendly pub walking distance away.
The host left us the most amazing cakes for our arrival and even got me some which is amazing as I have allergies. So kind of her. She even left dog treats for the dog. Would highly recommend we will be back.

This was my second time staying at Seaview Cottage and it didn't disappoint. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and cosy, and it's so lovely being able to walk and walk along the beach. Leonie had baked another of her delicious cakes and my dogs loved the treats waiting for them at the cottage. Had a lovely week at sea view cottage perfect for what we wanted peace and quiet, the owner was very helpful and make us a wonderful welcome cake. As with most east ruston cottages it was well equipped and clean and as always perfect for the dogs.
Although I will just say having visited many of there cottages we are finding they are all getting very expensive. Sea view cottage is a large cottage so is quite good value for money and we will probably go again.

Soon as you arrive at this cottage you are aware of the fantastic location you can hear and see the sea from the cottage and everything you need is within walking distance inside the cottage is warm and welcoming leonie has thought of everything and the cake she had baked for us a Victoria sandwich was the best we have ever tasted better than the one we had at the savoy hotel for afternoon tea in London so thank you leonie and all at Ruston cottages for sorting our new year break after heather cottage was cancelled and for making us aware of sea view cottage we would definitely love to go back x

We had an amazing week staying at Seaview Cottage. The cottage is cosy and extremely well equipped (for both humans and dogs) and spotlessly clean. It was perfect for us (4 adults and one Labrador) especially having a downstairs bedroom as Dexter is not able to use stairs anymore. The 2 minute walk to the beach at the bottom of the lane was the icing on the cake. We could roll out of bed and straight onto the beautiful beach in record time. We were lucky to see some beautiful sunrises on our early morning walks along the deserted beach. The garden was safe and secure and the garden room was an added bonus. The views from the bathrooms are stunning. It was an easy walk to the very welcoming dog friendly pub (Poacher’s Pocket). Communications from the owner were excellent and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely review, thank you! And the owner has just let us know that you left Seaview spotless!! How very kind of you. We're very glad you enjoyed your stay and would love to have to back. I would just like to address the value for money lower score for any other potential guests reading this review. The price was £970 for the week which for a sleeps 6 property is £23 per person per night. Everything is included - elec, bed linen, towels, all sorts of dog extras, welcome pack of a home made cake and more. Dogs also come for free too. Obviously when it is booked by just 2 people it does work out more expensive per night but we do hope that it would be considered good value as a fully occupied house. Many thanks again for taking the time to review Seaview, it is much appreciated. Sue

Home that’s what i call Seaview, or at least I wished it was , we absolutely love staying there . From the moment you arrive it’s like putting on a pair of old slippers it’s just so comfy, has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay ,none of us ever want to leave & doesn’t matter how long you stay it’s never long enough. Thank you Leonie for sharing your wonderful cottage with us & thank you Sue for everything you do when we book , ERC cottages are the best dog friendly cottages you could ask for .

What a lovely comfortable cottage! Sofas and bed very comfy, very well equipped kitchen and modern bathrooms. Large garden completely enclosed so it was great to have the french doors open from the kitchen diner knowing our dog was safe. Dog towels and toys if needed. Located on a quiet road taking you to the beach with no through traffic

As fourth timers visiting our happy place, it’s not surprising that this is a positive review. It is a very comfortable home from home with everything we need - but right near the sea with views to die for. Leonie and East Ruston Cottages really have thought of everything you need; it is dog very friendly as well as human welcoming, has a secure garden, and our dogs now recognise Seaview as we arrive! They particularly love the view from the luxurious master bedroom en-suite’s window as they can watch the bunnies in the adjoining field. The big [well-equipped] kitchen diner is our daytime hub, and the cosy cottage lounge is perfect to relax in during the evenings. There is a lovely downstairs bedroom, suitable for those that would prefer to avoid stairs (although the cottage has wide stairs, not traditional narrow cottage ones), plus a super downstairs shower room.
The unspoilt beach is so close, the footpath is at the front of the house, which is why you can hear the waves as you drift off to sleep each night. A short walk along the beach brings you to a family [and dog friendly] pub then Walcott beach (with chip shop and general store), or walking inland takes you to cafés, and Bacton itself where there is a supermarket, Chinese takeaway, and the famous Bacton chip shop that does gluten-free batter!
By going in the car you can get to bigger supermarkets - Sainsburys, Tescos - and wonderful wood walks such as Bacton Woods, Pigney’s Woods etc not to mention other Norfolk beaches from little unspoiled ones with sand dunes etc to bustling Cromer or the more commercial Great Yarmouth.

An absolutely fantastic location, we could not get our girls or our dogs off the beach or out the sea, they loved it. It was so nice to wander down the beach with a cup of tea or coffee in the morning. If you are looking for a great location, this is the cottage for you! The bedrooms were all decorated nicely and the bed linen was soft and clean! The sofa was very comfortable and the throws provided to cover them with were a great size meaning we didn’t worry and have to constantly pull them to fit! The outside shower was a godsend for dogs and children. The garden room was lovely to sit in and read. A great location not only for the beach but also for lots of places which were only a short drive away - Bacton woods, happisburgh, Smallsticks,the Gunton arms, Cromer, thrigby hall and Bewilderwood. If you are able to we would highly recommend booking a visit to the Happisburgh lighthouse to go up the top.

Lots of lovely play parks nearby - Happisburgh and Bacton we frequented.

Leonie was great at communicating and I felt if I had needed to, I could have messaged her at any point. Everything was seemless and we had such a great time.

We holiday in Norfolk frequently and will definitely rebook with east Ruston and would highly highly recommend Seaview cottage.

Good location for beach walks next to stretch of dog friendly beach. Dog friendly house. Small utility room too small for dogs to sleep in (our usual arrangement at home) and the kitchen door to living room did not shut. Crates are available. Dog sitter found locally for evenings out.

Seaview comes out tops with us. It's practically on the beach and our dogs loved it! The cottage itself was very well equipped with everything you could need on holiday. It was in a quiet location but near to shops, takeaways etc. Definitely would highly recommend to anyone considering it.

Great cottage for a groups upto 6 with dogs.
Excellent dog facilities and secure garden. Very well equipped in the kitchen, nice touch with welcome goodies, yummy cake. The owner is very easy to contact and replies very promptly. Great for beach access, good parking. Comfortable furniture, beds and good showers. Lively seaviews from the bedroom windows. A tumble dryer would be very useful to dry hot tub towels.
Was disappointed that only 3 people could use the hot tub at once .
The garden table only seats 4 people for alfresco eating.
The loungers need cushions, or updating as they are uncomfortable.
The outdoor room in the garden needs freshening up, a changing area in the hut would be good idea.
Overall a lovely cottage by the sea but the garden area could be improved with the above.

Had a multi generation holiday with 3 labradors between us. There was plenty of room , beach a 5 minute stroll up the road and although minimal dog restrictions in the neighbouring villages, the dogs could still run free on our section. There were also footpaths to explore in the area, and dog friendly pubs and cafés. Very comfortable cottage, well equipped, Leonie has thoughtfully provided all kinds of extras - huge slo cooker, dog bowls, balls and beds,same for our toddler, and grown ups got to use the body boards, hot tub and BBQ, so all good.
Would recommend a stroll to Watsons café, great for breakfast/lunch/cake and there's a children's play area just across the road.
Something for everyone, friendly locals too.

Everything at Seaview went above and beyond our expectations. The cottage is warm, welcoming, comfortable and cosy. A real home from home where everything we and the dogs needed had been thought of.
The garden was perfect for the dogs and very quiet and secure; the outside warm shower made keeping them clean so easy. Being so close to the beach and its easy access was a delight and thoroughly enjoyed by us all; none of us (dogs and humans) wanted to leave and we are already planning a return visit.

Love , love , love staying at the fabulous Seaview . So comfortable & has everything you could need , a definite home from home cottage. Our girl settles in from day one of arriving. We had a fab week at Seaview cottage. The 4 dogs loved the enclosed garden and the humans enjoyed the property too. The location is more than perfect, down a quiet track, straight onto the most amazing beach, where the dogs just ran and ran. Everything you could want within a very small distance. We spent a great week at Seaview Cottage with our 2 dogs. The property is spacious inside and very comfortable. The real bonus to this property is its proximity to the beach - literally just down the lane and then you have miles of beautiful, sandy beach to explore. The lane is very quiet and the small garden to the back is very secure, with no visuals, which was great for one of our dogs who is quite reactive. Leonie, the owner, made the most delicious cake for us as a welcome - worth going back just for that - and she was super helpful with getting a dog sitter very last minute and checking we had everything we needed. We didn't explore the area because we were just so happy to spend every minute on the beach, but plenty of dog-friendly restaurants and cafes around.
This was our first time using ERC and we can't fault them - will definitely be booking with ERC again, and would love to return to Seaview Cottage again, soon!

There is a reason people return to the same place to holiday - it's everything they want! This [third] visit was the end of January, and in previous years we have been Leonie's guests in May and October. Simply each time of year is wonderful. The beach is so close (just a very short walk) you can hear the sea as you drift off to sleep, and it isn't called Seaview for nothing as upstairs the luxurious master bedroom has stunning views from two aspects, and the fabulous en-suite bathroom (very roomy with spa bath and separate shower) has the most amazing view of the sea with the dunes in-between. The refurbed downstairs shower room is also super, as is the very spacious downstairs bedroom with king-size adjustable bed. The other two bedrooms are equally lovely with a country cottage theme, and an extra loo and sink between them, with one overlooking fields and the other - the sea! The modern, well-equipped, kitchen diner has a farmhouse feel as it is very much a family room if you don't want to go into the super cosy lounge instead. The garden is secure, private and has a garden room - perfect in the hot weather - a doggy shower, and a hot tub to hire.
A walk away are: two cafes, two chip shops, two well-stocked general stores and the Poachers Pocket (under new management) that has a great menu with plenty of dietary need options.
A drive away are: Tesco's, Sainsbury's, other pubs/eateries, other beaches, if you go north there's Cromer (including the Doggie diner and a 'real' pier), south Great Yarmouth, and west gets you to Bacton Woods plus other good woods/walks too.
Our seventh East Ruston Holiday, our third at Seaview - we just keep going back to Norfolk ☺

Seaview cottage is in a great location. Walking distance to the beach. Walking distance to Watsons and cafe Carmel both nice cafes. Also walking distance to poachers pocket pub. You needn’t drive anywhere everything is on your doorstep. You can even walk to Walcott where you find Kingfisher chip shop and cafe. So close to everything ideal location.

The cottage is wonderful very comfortable the beds were so comfy the quilts and pillows were wonderful, you just didn’t want to get out of bed. The views of the sea were amazing, there was even a telescope in the bedroom. One bed was adjustable so you could move it up and down to watch TV. The garden was a nice size for the dogs and fully enclosed. There is a lovely summer house which would be super in nice weather. They have thought of everything in this cottage and used every available space. Very clean and comfortable.

We were so impressed we want to rebook for this cottage. Well worth a visit.

We had a marvellous stay at Seaview in late September. The house is well set up, with comfy couches and plenty of floor space in the lounge for dog beds, meaning lovely evening snuggles when it's cold and dark. The large kitchen is a joy to cook in, with views out over the garden and the sea, and the hot tub is the cherry on top. The location (200 yards from the beach) is perfect, and it was fantastic to be able to take the dogs down there everyday, where for parts of the beach they can be completely off lead and have zoomies. Definitely recommend.

Three generations and one springer enjoyed a lovely week in SeaView Cottage. Bacton is a fantastic village and very central for visiting both the Broads and North Norfolk. Despite an unfortunate injury acquired before we went, Finn loved the closeness to the beach and had many paddles (the sea was too rough for swimming).

The cottage was clean and well equipped. The wine, cake, flowers, etc were much appreciated as was the contact made by the owner before we went.

We love these East Ruston Cottages and will definitely be back again!

Had a wonderful stay at Seaview Cottage. East Ruston Cottages couldn’t be more dog friendly if they tried! Dogs are definitely treated as part of the family and without the usual rules and regulations which make some holiday cottages extremely unattractive. Seaview Cottage in Bacton is just moments from the beach and in such a beautiful part of the country. I stayed with my dog reactive dog and it was ideal. Very quiet and the garden was perfect. Had some amazing walks in Bacton Woods absolutely ideal for reactive dogs as it’s very quiet and so many different paths you can take to easily avoid other dogs! We also found Horsey to be really quiet and reactive dog friendly (possibly not in peak season) The holiday was perfect thanks East Ruston Cottages!

The cottage was perfect for our family of 3 generations. We walked a few minutes along the lane to the most loveliest of sandy beaches each day. The wetsuits in the summerhouse were the prefect sizes for the grandchildren which was a bonus. The warm outside shower was an absolute must to deal with sandy children and dogs. This is a first for us. The summerhouse was great for quieter times as the lounge wasn't quite big enough for the 8 of us. Very comfortable. The welcome pack and use of the hot tub was most appreciated by us all. The garden was smaller than I imagined but felt very safe for our two dogs. The dogs beds, throws for the sofas and treats were provided at no extra cost. The kitchen was so well equipped that we cooked most evenings and ate outside. We all agreed that we would like to return. The owner Leonie was in regular contact before and after our stay and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. I miss the seaviews from the bedroom since I've been home.

What can we say they thought of everything in this cottage both for the doggies and humans. From the second we booked the whole process was seamless with communication throughout of the booking our upcoming stay and after we had left. I would really recommend this company. The cottage had all the mod cons a beautiful hot tub and the master bedroom and en-suite were just beautiful with views to die for. All the dog essentials were catered for with treats upon arrival and cake for ourselves. The beach was literally a minute away and quiet and perfect for the dogs and kids. Days out were plentiful with lots to do within a half hour drive of the cottage we’ve never visited this area before but will definitely be returning thank so much for making us so welcome x

Enclosed nice sized garden with outside hot shower ideal for showering off dogs after walks on the beech. So many extras, baby gate, dog crates, body boards, wetsuits, bbq and many other bits. We spent a lovely week at Sea View, two adults and two dogs. The garden is a lovely space to enjoy. The cottage is on a lane which has other properties along it, but it leads down to the beach. There is a little traffic from cars and people so if your dog doesn’t like people walking past chatting then this might cause a little problem. There is a resident in the adjoining property and we did everything possible to stop the dogs from barking or generally being a nuisance!!
The bedrooms are lovely, but the main bathroom is off the main bedroom which might not be ideal for groups sharing - definitely a loo with a view, though. There is a bedroom downstairs with a shower room off the kitchen. We have made a suggestion to the owners that they look at replacing one of the sofas in the sitting room as it is sagging and makes it quite uncomfortable - especially if you have to share! The beach is clean and apart from the usual weekend activity, quite quiet.

It’s proximity to a seemingly endless sandy beach is probably the most obvious asset of this cottage. The back garden is securely fenced and sheltered by a dense hedge. The hot tub is tucked into a sheltered corner and cannot be resisted. Inside the cottage is light and airy - French doors from the kitchen to the garden give light and access. The kitchen is well fitted out with modern appliances. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed the week enormously

We had a fantastic week in Seaview Cottage (2 years late due to Covid)!
The location in Bacton was perfect for us as very quiet - hot tub made it even more relaxing after long beach walks.
The cottage was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Beds and sofas very comfortable.
Perfect for the dogs who had the time of their lives - have never stayed at such dog friendly accommodation before.

Fantastic kitchen/diner overlooking a fully enclosed garden. Useful downstairs bedroom and a downstairs shower/toilet. The living room is comfortable, but rather small..but let's face it, it's a cottage, what else can you expect? We were 6 adults and coped fine. I stayed at Seaview Cottage with three friends and 4 dogs and it was wonderful. We each had a fabulous double room. There were plenty of showers, baths and toilets for us all. The cottage had a large enclosed back garden that we could relax and know the dogs were safe in. The cottage was 5 minutes from the sea and we had wonderful beach walks both ways along the coast. Such a wonderful relaxing holiday in 5 star accommodation. Infact we liked it so much we have booked for early next year!

Seaview cottage was lovely and perfect for us, although only 2 hoomans and 3 large dogs. Access to the beach within a minute walk, garden fully enclosed, cottage fully equipped and lovely and warm. When we arrived the wind was howling and the sea growling, once we’d discovered to shut the window vents - perfect. My only criticism is that if there were 8 of us in the winter you would struggle to fit in the lounge, in the summer no problem as you would be able to use the outside space.

We loved it and would return without hesitation only marked down 1 point due to being pretty expensive for 2 but then that’s our choice as the location is lovely.

Overall, a lovely well equipped cottage in a great location close to the sea on a quiet lane.
Very nicely renovated to a high standard with whirlpool bath and lovely views.
Some tea/coffee sachets would be much appreciated on arrival, especially after a 5hr journey.
Due to Covid restrictions you can't get in before 4pm, at this time of year it's pitch black and trying to gain access to the key location was awkward without an outside light. It has one but wasn't turned on and no motion sensor, a simple fix and something that wouldn't be a problem in lighter months.
The heating was off on arrival, this could again be addressed by a change of timer, it was a very cold night and some radiators has been turned off. Again, a simple fix rather than trying to override boiler controls.
Dog throws and a towel was provided, outside warm dog shower great.
Every room has a TV and Freesat, perfect.
The garden had one motion sensor light which was useful, other lights were on or off. A torch would be handy.
If you want a comfy house, safe and private garden and close to a beach it's perfect.
Didn't book the hot tub but it looked great.
Plenty of space for a large family or couples.
Sue was great, as always, and quick to respond to emails and feedback.

A beautiful cottage, right near the beach! The secure garden (with sea views) backs onto the dunes, and the triple aspect master bedroom (with luxury en-suite) had sea views from three sides! The spacious family kitchen has everything you can want, and the lounge is relaxing and cosy. One of the other [kingsize] bedrooms is downstairs, and the other two doubles just as lovely. Yes - it sleeps eight! A stroll along the beach takes you to a dog-friendly pub, with other shops, cafes, and takeaways nearby too. A short drive gets you to a couple of wonderful woods for walks, supermarkets, other pubs and shops, as well as several other beaches to try too. Hosted by Leonie who is very caring and bakes a fab cake too ☺

A great location if you want to be able to hear the sea and be on the beach in a couple of minutes.
The cottage was nice and it's obviously very welcoming for dogs which was great.
Not a huge amount of space downstairs and so whilst there are 4 bedrooms, I wouldn't have wanted to be anymore than 6 people, we were 4 and that felt just right. The garden is also quite small but adequate. No real colour in the garden with just a patio and lawn so practical but not pretty. Shame the hedge wasn't a bit lower to enjoy the sea view from the garden, but I guess this is due to needing it to be secure. Handy summerhouse which we did use to be outside but sheltered. Could benefit from some prints on the walls, or something to jazz it up a bit but it was a useful comfortable space with sofas and dog beds.
We were left a lovely cake and a bottle and dog treats which were well received.

We have been returning to East Ruston Cottages for a number of years. They have a very easy to use website, unlike some others. Never a problem with communication, we received all the information need before we went. They offer great locations and Seaview cottage was no exception, wonderful accommodation; enough room for the 6 of us, clean, well set up and truly dog friendly for our 4 furry babies. Our host made a wonderful cake which our granddaughter loved and a TV in her room; we all had a brilliant time and would definitely go back again. With so much to do on the door step you can’t go wrong for a holiday. Things have been difficult for so many over the past 18 months and we were able to have a really great holiday, thanks to all involved.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Seaview Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and very comfortable. The spa bath with sea views and hot tub were favourites. There was more than enough space for the 7 of us and we all really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was great for our dogs too. They appreciated the dog beds, bag of treats and hot outdoor shower. It was just a couple of minutes from a lovely dog friendly beach which meant they got some lovely seaside walks in. Overall I couldn’t recommend it more.

When we arrived just after 4pm at the cottage, we were delighted. We could see and hear the sea. The cottage was lovely and there was a beautiful cake left for us (we did fight over the last piece). Plenty of room for us all, and very well equipped. Garden was fantastic for the dogs, fully secure. We went to the beach every day, even went in the sea! We saw seals and one day there was one on the beach. We have really enjoyed our week at Seaview and would definitely return. Many thanks x

We all had a wonderful week at Seaview Cottage in Bacton. The location is perfect, down a quiet lane & so close to Bacton beach. It was lovely to be able to hear the sea all week & the garden was great for the dogs. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Fab views from the bedrooms and bathrooms (it really is a loo with a view!) The garden room was an added bonus and the hot tub so relaxing day & night! We visited Bacton woods to walk the dogs every day, Horsey to see the seals, Mundesley, Cromer, Sheringham and the Old Vicarage gardens. We hired a picnic boat for an afternoon from Simpson's boatyard at Stalham which everyone enjoyed. We ordered Chinese from Oriental in Bacton and fish & chips from the Kingfisher Cafe in Walcott. A lovely week making precious family memories. Thank you Leonie & Sue for the amazing welcome goodies & another great ERC holiday!

Had a great week at sea view with a wonderful location , enjoyed the summer house and hot tub. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable, we had a lovely meal at the poachers which is in walking distance . This was our 5th stay with east Ruston would definitely stay here again

Very comfortable cottage in a great location with a very short walk to the beach.
Good facilities in the cottage with a well equipped kitchen, it also has a hot water shower in the garden for rinsing sand off of the dogs!

Close to the sea and a home from home. Not only a holiday for the humans but all FOUR of our dogs! Drifting off to sleep whilst listening to the waves breaking on the shore was rejuvenating and blissful. The little touches need mentioning too such as the amazing gluten-free cake that tasted as good as it looked, the flowers on the table, and the bottle of wine cooling in the fridge. We felt valued, and at home in no time. A beautiful cottage, a wonderful holiday, another ERC triumph.

Spent a brilliant week at Seaview Cottage. There were 6 adults and 7 dogs. Plenty of room for all of us. The cottage was very clean and tidy and located down a quiet lane right by the sea. The back garden was very secure for the dogs with a 5ft fence and hedge.
On arrival there was cake, wine, flowers and dogs treats which was a lovely surprise.
Highly recommended and will stay again

We arrived in the afternoon and after we settled in we went for a walk on the beach with the dogs.Its a few minutes walk from the cottage and you can walk left or right for miles and a really clean beach.The dog owners treat the area with respect so remember your poop bags .The location of the cottage is so peaceful and sits on a very lovely little lane and is not in a built up area.If you open your windows you can hear the sea which is lovely at night.The kitchen is fabulous with lots of space and the lounge area cosy .The bedrooms are all really spacious and the beds are super comfortable.The main bathroom is really modern with a power shower and spa bath with toilet and sink .Very handy for my Mum and Dad was a separate bathroom which contained a small sink and toilet.There is a bathroom downstairs and a bedroom too.Garden area really secure for dogs and a fantastic dog shower with a mixer tap for sandy paws and shoes when you return from the beach.Loved it and the owners are very helpful and friendly with any queries you may have.

We’ve just returned from Seaview. Gorgeous cottage, cosy, well equipped and in an fantastic location a short hop skip and a jump away. Pubs, takeaways and cafes all in walking distance and so many more a short drive. Beach is very dog friendly. Booking process was seamless and professional. The owner of this property is lovely and very helpful. We arrived to a beautiful home made cake and bottle of wine. Very thoughtful.

We had an amazing time at sea view cottage. The most perfect thing about it for us was the closeness to the beach. I have two scared ex breeding Shih Tzus along with a very elderly one at 14 so this made it so much easier for us as we need to carry them sometimes. The local people were very friendly and welcoming and gave local recommendations. It’s a nice quiet area of the Norfolk coast. The beds in the cottage were super comfy. The downstairs bedroom worked really well for my mum and her dog to keep them separate to us so we didn’t disturb each other. TVs in all bedrooms is a nice touch though we didn’t use them but probably would during a winter visit. The garden was great along with the dog loo! The kitchen was perfectly well equipped with everything for cooking yourself. All in all a great stay and we would return.
