Just returned from a fabulous stay at the Salty Sea Dog . The location is beautiful right by a sandy beach that goes on for miles !!
The accommodation was clean and extremely comfortable. Everything I needed was there. The host had thought of everything even left presents for my 2 x Pugs 4th Birthday!!!
As an extra I booked beauty treatments with Total Tranquility . Highly recommended and less than 10 minutes drive away .Sonya was amazing and I came away so relaxed .

Just home from a very relaxing stay at The Salty Sea Dog in Bacton. It’s our first time using ERC and it won’t be our last. Helen had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable from the welcome pack when we arrived to varying sizes of dog bowls and even leads in case you forgot yours! Salties is literally a few steps to the beach and you can sit on the decking listening to the waves.
It’s such a relief to go to genuinely dog friendly accommodation not just dog tolerant. The only rule is “ relax and enjoy yourself”. It is obvious that much love has gone in to furnishing Salties to ensure a relaxing time for all.
Walking distance to local shop, take-away and fish and chip shop. Everything you need for a relaxing stay

We are just back from a 4 night stay at The Salty Sea Dog, and wow, what can I say, what a place this is!. We took our 13 year old dog Roxie really to make memories as she is getting on now, she is a huge fan of shallow water, so with the lodge being seconds from the beautiful sandy beach, we thought it ideal, she was in Heaven, as were we. This lovely spot is so peaceful, all you can hear is the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. It was clean, comfortable, catered for all our needs, as well as Roxie's; there were no silly dog rules, it was truly 100% dog friendly in every way. The beds were so comfy and the wifi good. The location was great, central to the basics you need and only a little drive to other bits and bobs if required. It was a restful break and I am already looking at booking my next trip!. The process of booking and management throughout was excellent, the owner and management team were extremely responsive, helpful and friendly, nothing was a problem and all handled immediately. So a huge thank you to Helen, Sue & Georgie. The little goodies on arrival was a lovely touch too. I cannot recommend The Salty Sea Dog highly enough. We miss it already very much! Bacton is a lovely area, closer areas are easy to reach. The cabin fitted our needs completely.
Close to the beach, lovely cafe nearby and handy convenience store that stocks well.

A comfortable and well presented lodge on a quiet holiday home site. Only two minutes walk away from beautiful sandy beach - with choice of dogs allowed one way or no dogs the other way. The beach was lovely and clean and very quiet with very few people - probably more during the peak season.
The owner had left nice treats for the humans and dogs and answered additional questions on the booking. East Ruston Cottages very good to deal with. Friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable week.

The Lodge is in an amazing location, so close to the beach and great if you just want to relax. It is home from home, really comfortable. We took two dogs (medium/small) and it was perfect. Would definitely go again.

Great location for the beach, the Lodge was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The comprehensive instructions from the owner prior to arriving was brilliant, there was no hunting around trying to find out how things worked. A very enjoyable stay.
