The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing stay away with our dogs, and we would definitely recommend it to others. It’s in a beautiful and peaceful setting and is ideally located for several beaches and for the local town. Can’t wait to go back!

The cottage is sweet, cosy and comfortable. Situated next to the host’s property and is wonderfully quiet. Excellent walks from the door along quiet lanes to the Weavers Way, allowed ageing greyhound to wander along at her own pace and did not use the car again until we went home. There are excellent beaches nearby but we needed to just chill this time. Truly dog friendly and part of the superb East Ruston Cottages portfolio. We have stayed in other ERC properties and will do so again. The owners kept me informed before and during our stay and although I didn’t meet them, I felt welcome.
The living room looks out across their garden but there is privacy film on the lower half of the French doors, to stop dogs crashing into it and to not feel either party are overlooked. Next time I would definitely explore the vineyard and make more of the stunning sunrises which flood the bedroom with a beautiful light.

We spent a wonderful week at Vineyard Cottage. The most doggy friendly cottage we have stayed at as well as the most dog friendly area. Cottage lovely and very comfortable. Secure garden perfect for our dog to enjoy.
Lots of dog friendly places to visit, nice walks and plenty of pubs/cafes that allow dogs. Would love to come back and would recommend Vineyard Cottage.

We were meant to go to Vineyard last year but one of our party got Covid. So we were back and we realised what a great place we had missed last year. As usual, everything for the dog and dog owner. Clean, comfortable, spacious and Graham, the owner, was really good to deal with.
Dogs thoroughly enjoyed the tranquillity, we loved the place and the area so everything was happy for us all. And so much to see roundabout - sea, sand, and seals etc
Well done, East Ruston and well done Graham. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we look forward to coming back. Small quibble - need 5 days sunshine next time, not just the 2!
Can't say 'never been anywhere so dog welcoming before' because have been to many East Ruston Cottages!!

This was our 4th stay in Vineyard Cottage and it won't be our last.
Being part of the East Ruston Cottages agency, the cottage is far more than Dog Friendly. There are dog throws, so the dogs can join you on the sofas, dog towels, toys, bowls, etc, in the cottage, and other dog paraphernalia available. You only have to ask, and the lovely cottage owners, or one of the team from ERC, will do their best to help you.
The bedrooms and lounge have been redecorated since our last visit and look smashing. The kitchen and bathroom are well appointed and very clean, but are starting to look a tiny bit tired in places now, hence the 4 for condition.
The garden is lovely, with a 3-4ft picket fence all round, so you get lovely views over the countryside whilst sitting outside. The fence has wire fencing inside it too, to stop any small dogs from wriggling through.
The area is very quiet, and you can walk through the pretty, sleepy village to join the Weaver's Way which runs for miles in either direction, through the surrounding countryside.
The nearest supermarket and town are a 6 minute drive away, and the nearest beach 11 minutes drive away, so the location is great for those who don't wish to have to drive miles whilst on holiday.

We have just returned from a short break at Vineyard Cottage and can say that we are really looking forward to returning. The owners Graham & Collette are very welcoming and when the dog crate that was provided at the cottage was too small for our black labrador, Graham managed to rally around and found us one which was greatly appreciated.
We loved the walking from the door along Weavers Way and driving to Holkham Beach which was absolutely amazing. The beach went on for miles and miles.
Thoroughly recommend this Cottage for anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday with (or without) their dog. Thank you.

We had a great time at the vineyard cottage, it was perfect for our loud dacshunds being so secluded and with no neighbours.
Very good location, close to the beach and nice and secure garden for the dogs to enjoy.
Owners very promptly provided crates on request which was super helpful.
The only improvement I would make is to put some more lighting on the garden, we stayed there in January with very short days and after 4pm is was very hard to see anything (there is one light but only covers one corner of the garden) and going in and out to the car we could barely see the path and stairs.

Hi Maria huge thanks for the amazing review and feedback. A note about the lighting in the garden - I do totally understand about this but we have to be very mindful of light pollution in North Norfolk - I for one would not be happy to have the garden lit up too much due to this. There is a PIR auto light that comes on over the main door and a small wall light next to the french doors - which we hope helps. We do ask that guests bring a torch (either on a phone or a normal torch) if you are arriving in the darker hours - with the hope that navigating to the door is made easier. I hope you agree that it is essential we think of our environment and neighbours in regards to making the place as less intrusive as it can be and at least light is something we can all control. Again - massive thx and we hope to see you again in the future.

The cottage was exactly as described and really dog friendly. The only stipulations were to use the provided throws for the furniture and take your own sheets/duvets if the dogs were to jump onto the beds. The garden was ideal for the dogs and we felt that they were secure…even 2 beagles although they are older dogs so maybe younger dogs would try to jump the fence. There are plenty of walks from the cottage including being able to take the dogs around the grounds of the farmhouse and vineyard. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The only thing that could be improved would be to provide more saucepans of various sizes and an oven glove. Due to the time of year we cooked most meals at the cottage. The roast dinner was a challenge without enough pans and we couldn’t find an oven glove! We would definitely recommend Vineyard Cottage to anyone with dogs. If we lived nearer we would certainly book again but a 7-8 hour journey each way with 3 aging dogs was pretty stressful.

Thank you so much for your review! Always very much appreciated and I am glad the beagles enjoyed it :) The owners live next door so I am sure they would have been able to provide an oven glove and more pans if asked. I will certainly make sure this is fed back to them so they make sure they are provided for future guests. Really appreciate any recommendations you make to friends and family. Sue

Lovely accommodation and setting and very helpful owners.
There was a radiator leaking in the bathroom when we arrived and this was affecting the heating and water pressure.
Graham was very quick to be on top of the situation.
Our miniature schnauzer enjoyed the secure garden and we were confident in letting him out on his own to explore.

The accommodation is located very well to nearby towns and beaches and lovely pubs.

I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Our first ERC booking and Vineyard Cottage did not disappoint. We arrived quite late due to traffic but the cottage was warm and inviting.
Thank you Graham and Collette for the lovely welcome hamper, what a selection, prosecco an array of yummy biscuits country cake and not forgetting biscuits for Dexter.
All so a large selection of speciality teas and coffees which we enjoyed.
The cottage was within easy reach of the coast so easy to get to and explore
The garden was really lovely with lots of lovely trees and shrubs, Dexter was in heaven lots of places for sniffing (and weeing)!!
We had a really lovely holiday and returned home feeling relaxed and rested.
I would highly recommend a stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vineyard Cottage, it is in a lovely peaceful location, which was ideal for relaxing and getting away from it all. The cottage is cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. The owners, Graham and Collette are very welcoming and friendly. Our elderly labrador enjoyed being able to have a mooch around the wildflower meadow and vineyard without having to walk too far. We borrowed one of ERCs dog buggies for the week, which was a massive help because it meant that we could do more this holiday than we had anticipated, without our dog getting too tired.

Vineyard Cottage is perfect for a relaxing holiday with your dog(s). East Ruston is a very quiet village but close to the many attractions of this part of Norfolk including National Trust properties such as Blickling Hall and Horsey Wind pump, lots of beaches, wildlife trips, and the wonderful Old Vicarage gardens (although dogs are not admitted). There are also lots of walks starting outside the cottage including Weavers Way.

The cottage is delightful with a fully enclosed garden. It is well equipped with dog toys etc and a welcome pack of teas, coffee, cake and wine for the humans! Collette and Graham live in the farmhouse next door and are lovely, welcoming hosts. There is also a vineyard to explore and you may see muntjac deer and hares in the surrounding area.

Found Vineyard Cottage to be well equipped for a week's stay with the dogs. Beds comfortable and great hot shower. Always essential. Private parking was good and next to the gate. For 2 people with 2 Springer spaniels it worked really well. Local walks for morning walk onto the Weavers Way was ideal and quiet and the onto the coast for a beach walk and find a local cafe for a coffee. Just lovely. It had all our requisites covered.
The garden size is not huge and it does border with the next door rental cottage which led to some barking.

We arrived at Vineyard Cottage to be met by the owner Graham.
The cottage is situated at the edge of the village with uninterrupted views across the countryside all on one level which is ideal for our short legged sausage dogs & my elderly Mum.
The cottage is cosy & well equipped with very comfortable beds.
We shopped for local produce which is plentiful in the area with a supermarket a couple of miles away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks holiday & look forward to returning to Norfolk in the near future

Another lovely stay at vineyard cottage. Almost exactly a year since I last stayed. Improvements to cottage have been done. And had a lovely stay. (Only thing I’d suggest is maybe a washing line for drying clothes outside in better weather). But that’s all :) had many lovely walks considering the odd spring weather.

VINEYARD COTTAGE
7th-11th November 2022
GOOGLE REVIEW
My friend and I have just returned from our second stay in Vineyard Cottage in East Ruston. The first time we stayed there, last year, it ticked all the boxes for a wonderful break. This time was no different. The cottage and its grounds are beautiful and totally secure for Daisy, the cockerpoo and Lottie, the labrador to explore, sniff, play and fight - playfully - I must add, well nine times out of ten anyway!

The owners of the cottage, Graham and Collette live just next door and couldn't do enough for us. Even to the point of Graham, at the time, not on the premises, receiving my text saying we had no hot water, replying by return that Collette was coming over to see the problem. To diagnose and resolve the issue, poor Collette had to climb into the loft, and with Graham giving instructions to her on the mobile, she rectified the problem in no time. Hot water was flowing! I suggested to Graham he might like to keep her on permanently!

We really love Norfolk and dog-friendly East Ruston Cottages almost guarantees a superb holiday. Everything from booking the cottage, throughout the stay to waving a fond farewell to our hosts and cottage, is catered for and brilliantly organised by Sue and Georgina.

Who could ask for more?

Hi Claire You will be pleased to know that the driveway extension has now been finished to a very high standard meaning that guests can park up to 2 cars outside the garden gate. We have also now allowed for easier access for guests via the side door (on request) - given that the garden path is on a slight slope and made from paving stones. Many thanks for your very helpful feedback. We hope to see you all again soon. Graham

All in all we enjoyed our stay at this property but there were a few minor things that could be improved upon.
1. The grass outside the cottage had been cut but not collected and because it was damp we were constantly bringing it into the house on our shoes which meant having to sweep the floors all the time.
2. A bread bin would have been appreciated to keep bread from getting dry.
3. There was no toilet roll holder.
4. The outside fence was pointed which could prove dangerous if a dog tried to jump over. I am bringing this up because I have had experience of a dog trying to jump over and getting impaled on the wooden spike which was a horrible thing to experience.

The positives were the house was nice and warm and the beds were comfortable.

Hi Sue thanks for the review - it is much appreciated and we always act on feedback and comments where possible. There is now a loo roll holder and a bread bin for future guests. The traditional picket fence seems to fit the bill with most if not all and the points will never be an issue for those rare athletic dogs who can scale this 4 foot high plus fence. As you know we are 100% doggy friendly and the cottage is more than well equipped to handle a muddy foot or 2 - so please do not mind bringing in the odd leaf or two. Thankfully we have an amazing housekeeper and also an equally amazing Vax carpet cleaner - which is used every week to wash all marks away in an instant - so no one should ever feel the need to be too house proud as the cottage will always be pristine for all new arrivals. Sue and her team continue to support amazing fully dog and their owners' holidays - and we are here to support this aim in all ways possible. all best and hope to see you again soon Collette and Graham

Well the dog certainly enjoyed it. Never been anywhere where our dog Sidi (aJack Russell who tends to be reactive) has settled so well! The ability to walk from the door down to the Weaver’s Way, with just a short stretch of unbelievably quiet road, was excellent. We’ve all come back slimmer and fitter! Sea Palling, Cart Gap, Winterton Dunes, etc all an easy drive away, and then free running dog friendly beaches and dunes.
Having stayed for two weeks I will admit the kitchen did start to annoy, but it was all manageable. Beds were comfy and the heating superb.
I wouldn’t come back, but this is because we live about 20 minutes away! However, would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Wish I knew of other such dog friendly providers of holiday accommodation!

We had a wonderful few days in this lovely cottage and wished it had been longer. The location was perfect and we loved the local beaches. The cottage itself was even better than expected - so comfortable and the owners had thought of everything. Having looked at a few cottages that said they were ‘dog friendly’ but were clearly only ‘dog tolerant’, it was great that this was a home-from-home not only for us but also for our dog. Have already recommended East Ruston Cottages to our dog-owning family and friends.

Main priority was suitability for the dogs and this easily met our expectations. A clean and fresh ambience with views over the garden and out beyond the fields. Large meadow opposite for letting dogs off. Easy access to local beaches, pubs and restaurants.

Loads of local wildlife. Owls, kestrels, bees, butterflies, deer etc

We had a wonderful weekend away at Vineyard Cottage in East Ruston with our daughter and her three dogs.
We had chosen Vineyard Cottage for its
idyllic peaceful setting surrounded by farm fields, with a beautiful enclosed low fenced garden, so safe and practical for the dogs.
The cottage was very clean, lovely comfortable beds giving a good nights sleep and the whole cottage was very well equipped.
Graham came to welcome us and gave a jar of honey and one of his homemade blackcurrant jam. Wonderful on toast!!
There are some lovely places to visit and pubs and restaurants all very dog friendly conveniently nearby so no need for lots of travelling.
We came away to Vineyard Cottage for some rest and recuperation and everything surpassed our expectations.
We have found a little gem in Vineyard Cottage that lives up to its advertisement and we will definitely be back.

We stayed the first week of July in Vineyard cottage. We received lots of information about the cottage and where to eat, walk and days out in advance. The cottage wasn't that big, but all the rooms were spacious with beds I would have like to take home, everything you could possibly need was in the cottage and a lovely garden.

We had a wonderful time. I was worried about my first ever stay in a cottage with my dogs - but this was wonderful. Anything we could have wanted was either provided anyway, or would have been had we needed it. We could relax completely and enjoy the peace, the beautiful local walks, dog friendly pubs, and I'm sure the beaches are great too, but my lad was a bit worried about them, so we settled for inland walks.
The dogs (and us) were made so welcome. They are my life, so it was veru important to me that this was their holiday as much as mine. It was.
Thank you - but thank you isn't enough for the wonderful time we had

A lovely cottage, relatively secluded and ideal for dogs with a fully enclosed garden. It is well equipped with dishwasher, full size freezer etc and even Sky TV. Both bedrooms have comfortable double beds. Location wise it has the advantage of being near a town (Stalham) but with beaches and rural walks within easy reach, also on the edge of the Broads .

We enjoyed a lovely weekend in Vineyard Cottage. Collette and Graham made us very welcome. We had a message from Collete introducing herself and Graham. The cottage is beautifully set-up giving both comfort and all needed to enjoy a dog friendly holiday but does'nt have that sense of feeling any anxiety which can stop your relaxation. The garden is both great for the dogs giving the freedom they need and the safety which as dog owners we need.

Owners very friendly messaged several times before arrival to say where to park and that there was cake!! Also to warn us they has rain and that the pathway was slippery. Also came check the heating out as it hadn’t come on. I arrived later then my aunt & uncle. Who informed the owners of heating etc. very friendly. Lovely quiet location. I’ve been to Norfolk many times but we ventured out on new walks and new places. A lovely way to spend turning 39. Enjoyed local foods and a huge takeaway meal from the butcher’s arms. Only thing i would say is more lights in the sitting room as was quite dark in the evenings. We enjoyed the garden and even sat out for afternoon tea. We had one wet afternoon when the Sahara sand storm was here. Would stay again. Only other suggestion would be a washing line outside maybe. Otherwise a perfect week away thank you with a lot of new memories to treasure. One being my uncle seeing the seals at horsey gap…he was fascinated.

Huge apologies for the heating blip - all now sorted and checked by the engineer. Unfortunately blips happen and we are sorry it made for a cold cottage on entry. Thanks for some of the tips but we would very much be reluctant to put up a clothes line. We provide a good sized airer for this and would encourage guests to use this.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at Vineyard Cottage. The cottage was in a fantastic location for many beautiful beaches with wonderful rural views. The cottage itself was clean and nicely decorated with all the things you’d need - fully equipped kitchen, Sky TV, Wi-Fi, board games, doggy cupboard etc. The owners/hosts were super friendly and really helpful.

East Ruston Cottages provided so much useful information on both the cottage and local area before we arrived and provide an excellent guidebook which was really helpful throughout our stay.

Marley (our 16 week cockapoo) loved his first holiday and was sad we had to leave!

We had a wonderful week at Vineyard cottage. The cottage was very clean and all on one level which suited our needs. Good sized bedrooms and bathroom. Very dog friendly with lots of thoughtful extras for the dogs. Often when gardens say they are enclosed they’re not but this one definitely was there was plenty of seating in the garden, which in warmer weather would be great. Perfect location for exploring nearby beaches and walks along Weavers way.
The only negatives were that the path from the car to the property was on grass and could be wet and muddy after rain and very dark, definitely needed a torch to help light the way. Also, the sofa was comfy but the two other chairs weren’t the most comfortable after a day of walking and eco,or if.

Hi Debra Many thanks for your amazing review and lovely comments about Vineyard Cottage. Apologies for the little walk over to the entrance gate to the garden. We soon hope to have the use of the driveway back so avoiding this walk over the grass. We hope it did not cause too much difficulty. Given the time of year unfortunately the solar powered lights do not get enough sun light to power up to maximum so it is always useful to have a torch to hand - especially when the stars are out and unhindered by a bright moon. We are blessed with the huge dark night skies but also understand that we also need some light to guide us to the door. Thanks for the heads up - we will make sure all future guests know that a torch is essential during the dark night walks. All best

Beautiful retreat.

We really enjoyed our stay at this smart and cute cottage. It was comfortable, easy to keep tidy, and had everything to make our stay a delight. The garden is so pretty, with an intimate patio area, lots of shrubs and flowers, plus a good area for any doggie guests. There were lots of throws for the furniture, although we always bring our own, and even dog kibble in the dog equipment cupboard if needed. Lots of walks nearby is a real bonus.
Altogether, a peaceful and relaxing week for us and the dogs.

We booked The Vinyeard with ERC before photos of the property were even on the website, not something I'd ever do but we have stayed in ERC properties before and I knew the standard would be high so, had no concerns at all. We certainly weren't disappointed its a gorgeous barn, the garden is just so peaceful and you really feel at peace just sitting outside taking in the views. We rarely saw cars pass and the property isn't overlooked so you have total privacy. Yes it's next to the lodge and the owners house but this really wasn't an issue at all for us as it was quiet, and the property itself is fenced off and has plenty of privacy with the bushes surrounding it so no concerns there at all. The kitchen is a good size too cook in too. The owners had provided lots of specialialy teas for us to try there were so many to choose from. The owners sent a message just before we arrived to welcome us and had kindly brought us some milk and a lovely cake from he farm shop, which was appreciated after a long dive. The owners were not intrusive at all but they did let us know if there was anything we needed they were certainly on hand. We used the BBQ in the garden too when the weather allowed.
The location was good too, Tesco less than 10 minutes away, plenty of lovely farm shops too. We went into Hoverton or Roy's to have a look around they have a great supermarket and shops and the cakes at Roy's were so nice we stopped on the way home to get more!! We were a 30 minute drive from Norwich which was great as we had teens with us so went bowling and out for dinner in town, again a really nice place to walk around and great for the teens who wanted to go bowling and play pool etc. We went to Winton on sea a beach we really love, not overcrowded at all and really gorgeous. We used the local pizza van that visits nearby Hickling and this was good. We also ate at The Ship Inn in Mundesley a 30 minute drive but we'll worth it, we had a great meal the fish and chips are very good and reasonably priced pub to eat in. We also went to The Star Inn at Lessingham for a Sunday roast which was nice. As we had teen boys we went banger racing at Great Yarmouth stadium which was a great night out and kept the boys happy the show was impressive. Lots of lovely garden centres to look around and local produce. We wanted to visit East Ruston Gardens but left this too late it looks like a lovely place to visit. All in all a lovely stay, plenty to see and do. We have booked with ERC for next year at a different property as we like to try new places and had this booked pre covid. We were lucky enough to get a week in this year and really enjoyed it. Thank you to owners & ERC for a lovely break.

Hi Charlene thanks so much for the lovely comments and it certainly seems you managed to sample the many delights this area has to offer - Banger racing - wow - I must get along to do that myself as it sounds like a perfect moment of craziness. We also enjoy The Star at Lessingham which is only a 5 minute drive from the cottage. We agree - pretty much all beaches remain crowd free - a delight that is special and unique to this part of the UK (Don't tell anyone though as it has to be kept a secret ;). We always listen to our wonderful guests and appreciate constructive and helpful feedback - since your stay we have installed a very comfortable upholstered armchair to each bedroom. We have also had another sofa (same as the one there already) so that the seating area in and around the TV is comfier for each guest. If anyone is like me then my wife and I like to have our own sofa!! and our 2 terriers love to cuddle up with us as we relax. We hope these upgrades tick the box and are now enjoyed by all our future guests. Thanks again for your lovely review and please do come again - we have lots of exciting new things happening here at the farm and vineyard in 2022.

Vineyard cottage is beautifully styled, clean and comfortable. The choice of teas and coffee supplied is amazing. There is a pretty little garden with lots of places to sit and enjoy when the weather allows. The downsides are first the very close egg factory (I won't say farm as the way these poor hens are treated it is more like a concentration camp) and the immediate proximity of the garden for the Lodge (another holiday let) which caused an issue when dogs at both properties want to be outside at the same time.

Dear guest, Thank you for some of the lovely comments you have added to your review about Vineyard Cottage. We are so pleased you had a comfortable stay and enjoyed this fabulous hideaway here in Norwich. I am sad to see the comments about the nearby Egg farm - Please be rest assured that this farm is one that operates to the very highest standards possible and could not be as far from a 'concentration camp for hens' - I have been on a tour of the farm and the birds roam freely inside and are looked after by the owners and workers at the farm. Many a fine business across Norfolk buy egg from this farm and they have been in business over 40 years. We have rented the cottage via ERC since May21 and during this time we have had no problem with The Lodge being close - I for one can say that I have had no sign of an issue with other dogs being so close. The fact that the hedges and fence enable both gardens to be fully secluded and private allows both parties of guests to enjoy an unhindered enjoyment of the both gardens. We feel blessed - Sue and her ERC team seem to attract the very best guests in all ways possible, so we feel lucky to be part of this amazing dog friendly holiday lettings company. We all know how difficult it is to find such a fine set of properties who are all extremely happy to share their properties with wonderful people and their array of fine dogs. I hope this has enabled you to fear not and to know that all is fine here in East Ruston. All best and we do hope you can feel you can use ERC again for another fabulous break here in Norfolk.

Vineyard Cottage is a new addition to the already impressive number of dog-friendly properties managed by East Ruston Cottages. I had never been to a property of theirs but my friend has rented several times. As a first-timer, without dogs of my own, but loving everyone else's, I was delighted just to walk through the gate leading to Vineyard Cottage via the garden. This was so lush and green and completely enclosed. A paradise for humans and canines to relax, knowing full well that the 'girls', Daisy and Lottie a young cockerpoo and an even younger black Labrador, wouldn't be relaxing as we wanted to do. They had loads of room to play perfectly safely . The dogs, having explored, scented and play-fought just as at home, settled on their beds and went to sleep. exhausted and happy. We sighed with relief and explored the cottage more thoroughly.

The cottage was well-appointed, beautifully decorated, tastefully furnished and very homely for our week's holiday. It looked so pristine when we arrived that we looked at each other, both thinking the same, how long will it last. with two excitable, ebullient 'girls'. Our concern was short-lived as there were plenty of covers for the furniture etc. The two bedrooms were both very large. My friend had the bedroom which has French doors opening out into the garden. This was so convenient as he could let the dogs out from there instead of having to take them out through the cottage. I had the other bedroom which was as large as the master bedroom, so there was plenty of space.

The kitchen was well-stocked with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric cooker with ceramic hob and hood. The work surfaces were adequate for preparing meals. If there was anything we could have done with was a breadknife and maybe a couple more sharp knives. This is not adverse criticism, it's just we are avid cooks and enjoy preparing good food. Everyone is different and perhaps there has never been a request for these before.

Our hosts, who live adjacent to the property were so quiet. We saw the owner only a few times during our stay and never met his wife. He just asked whether everything was all right and provided us with a couple of items we asked for. A very pleasant man and a kind host.

That week at Vineyard Cottage was dogged by bad weather. However, when one has dogs, there can't be any bad weather. Rain, high winds, really cold for the month of July and constant grey clouds in Norfolk's famous 'Big Skies', don't give humans license to stay in the comfort of the property and read or gaze at the rain running down the windows in rivulets. No! The dogs must be walked. Usually they went to the beach at nearby Happisburgh but one sunny afternoon (the only sun we saw) we managed to get to Sea Palling. That was a change for the girls and after having ingratiated themselves with all the other creatures on the beach, human, canine and unidentifiable. They played in the sea for as long as they could keep losing the ball. Once all the balls were lost, they were evacuated from the beach, not without difficulty, I hasten to add!

Well done to East Ruston Cottages for getting this property on board. We loved Vineyard Cottage especially with it being all on one level for me as my mobility is compromised. Well done to the owners/hosts of Vineyard Cottage. You are onto a winner there. I'm sure it will be difficult to get a new booking with you soon as more and more first-timers want to come back again. And again! We had a really lovely holiday and to prove it, we've have already booked to come back next year with Daisy and Lottie. We couldn't come without them or they would come without us!

I see you have already booked for 2022 so we very much look forward to seeing you again. New for 2022 - we will have a lovely area laid out next to the Vineyard on the farm for guests to plan a picnic during a warm summery afternoon. Before you arrive please do contact us and we will be able to book you in. I have to say - there is something quite calming and special to spend a few hours in the Vineyard as the new vintage grows away. We will of course give you a tour of the Vineyard and Apiary (unless you are now a bee lover) as well. All best and see you in 2022.

Hi Eamon many thanks for your amazing review. It is always a delight to see that our wonderful guests have had a 5 out of 5 stay in all areas. It means a lot - we as holiday makers ourselves love our time away and it is made all the better when we find a treasure of a place like Vineyard Cottage. e therefore strive to ensure our guests are treated to exactly the same experience we hope to have ourselves. Thanks again and please do come back in 2022 as we have more exciting additions here on the farm and vineyard.

Hi Angie It was a pleasure to meet you and as our very first guests staying at Vineyard Cottage. We are so pleased to see you have a 5 out of 5 stay. We work hard to ensure our guests have a perfect stay so it is always great to see this happen. Do come again in 2022 as we continue to develop things here at the farm and vineyard. Thanks a mass.
