We had a great stay at Wagtail Cottage- it’s clean, warm and well equipped for people and dogs! Quiet and secure garden, driveway next to the house for easy loading/unloading. Great location, owners were friendly and responsive to any queries, and provided OS maps and guides for the local area. The ERC team were also responsibe and the app was useful to find places to go.

We had a lovely stay here. We have very nervous reactive rescues, so it took a while to find somewhere suitable. This was perfect, it was a very quiet location, so no barking whilst in the cottage. The beaches were empty so it was great to let the dogs off the lead each day for a play. Lots of secure dog fields near by but we didn’t actually need them. We will be back!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review Waggers Charlotte. We do always really appreciate the feedback. We were sorry to see only a 4 for comfort and cleanliness as normally this cottage scores 5s for both categories but we do appreciate that everyone has different levels of expectations. The main thing is that the cottage was good for your reactive rescue dogs. We certainly aim to provide that at Waggers! :)

Great homely cottage with some nice treats on arrival for both humans and dogs, which we all enjoyed!
Great location with easy proximity to various beaches along the coast and easy proximity to a pub and shops.

Five of us stayed for 3 nights with our 2 reactive dogs.
The cottage was bright, very clean and welcoming. On arrival we had a generous hamper for us, with eggs, bread, cake and treats for the dogs too. The cottage is really well thought out, with night lights in all of the bedrooms, all items you might need in the kitchen and lots of things to use for the dogs - bowls, leads etc. The cottage is very quaint and is in a beautiful, peaceful location. The garden was fully secure and was very pretty too - so this was great for us and for our dogs. You could see that the cottage is well loved by the owners. We loved all of the small details, little ornaments, lamp stands and a tiny Happisburgh lighthouse on the bathroom light string.
Wag - tail is a favourite for us now, so we look forward to coming to stay again!

The host kindly allowed us early access which gave us time to try out one of the local beaches. The cottage was clean, cosy and welcoming with a lovely selection of welcome items. Everything was provided for our dogs-beds, bowls and balls and we loved going on a morning walk straight from the cottage. The host was very helpful and recommended dog walks for a wet day which luckily we only needed for one day. We had an excellent break and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wagtail cottage!

Wag-Tail Cottage provided a warm, friendly and relaxing, much needed break for me and my two Collies. Wonderful quiet location with walks from the door and many inland and seaside adventures a short drive away. The cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard and equally comfortable for humans and dogs. So many thoughtful touches, and a lovely welcome hamper. We were very well looked after at every stage and I look forward to returning.

A lovely cottage with everything you need and a fully enclosed/secure garden. The beach is a short drive away, and there is a lovely little walk if you turn left out of the driveway - which is perfect for a short walk first thing in the morning before heading for a beach walk later. Check the tide times as Happisburgh beach isn't as wide as some of the beach further north and the tide comes right in. We had a lovely stay here and would highly recommend the cottage.

Great info received about the cottage and area when we booked and quick to respond to a question we had. Cottage very clean, kitchen well equipped and the welcome hamper was gratefully received. Our dog loved the small enclosed garden. Lots of info provided by the cottage owners. The areas is great for exploring the beaches and the Broads. We loved Sea Palling and seeing the seals at Horsey. We ate at some of the recommended places and enjoyed them all. We’re no strangers to Norfolk but first time staying in this area. Would certainly return and have already recommended East Ruston Cottages to a family member.

We stayed with 2 adults, 111 and 13 year old and 1 dog. The garden was safely enclosed, really tidy with large decking and outdoor dining table for 6, plus neat lawn. There was very reliable wifi connection for laptop, our xbox and everyone’s phones. There was only 1 TV in the lounge and we couldn’t get the apps or netflix to stream but not an issue for us. Kitchen well equipped and easy to use all appliances. Shower really good. Great walks across fields from chapel loke to the Lessingham Star. Really close to numerous beaches (free parking at Cart Gap 6pm - 8am so did an early morning swim!). There were lots of books and games in the cottage and everything needed to clean. Great welcome hamper and dog treats and toys.

Thank you for your review. Im glad you enjoyed your stay at the cottage. Having read this review i see that you were unable to get the Netflix and apps to work on the TV. These do require you to put your account details into the apps for the apps to work so im hoping you tried this. I wish you had sent me a text ( as we did speak ) to let me know about this and i would have tried to help whilst you were at the cottage. I could have also checked the TV system ready for our next guests but as they didnt report any problems im assuming its ok. Im pleased the super fast broadband was good enough for everyone to enjoy and that you had a great time in our beautiful quirky cottage. Thanks

The only negative for us is that the parking is small, we have 2 very big cars, luckily the neighbour across the road was very nice and let us share their parking. If we were on our own it would be amazing. For 5 dogs 2 kids and 3 adults with 2 big cars it's a bit snug.

Thank you for the lovely scores you have provided on our review. Im sorry that you werent able to fit your Range Rover and Ford Ranger vehicles onto the drive. These are exceptionally large vehicles and we have stated on the cottage information that the parking is tight but takes two cars. It was great that our neighbour was able to help out but failing this there was always the layby at the end of the Loke that could have been used - 20 metres away. We normally only advertise 4 dogs max to stay at the property as it is a traditional 240 year old Norfolk flint cottage but did agree last minute for you to come with an extra two dogs making it 5 in total. Im glad you had a great time overall and thanks for booking.

We have just returned home from a really lovely weekend at Wag-tail Cottage. We had amazing weather so spent a lot of time in the very beautiful garden, listening to incredible bird song and enjoying this immaculately presented property. We stayed at Wagtail Cottage wanting a break from the coast where we live and to see a slightly different part of the county. We have a dog that doesn't travel well and the 35 minute journey was the longest one with her. We all arrived slightly fraught, but upon opening the door felt more relaxed immediately. The cottage kitchen, downstairs bedroom and bathroom felt fresh and bright. The original part of the cottage was quaint and opened into a nice garden. It's easy to get to nearby beaches and there's not many dog restrictions on beaches. The walk from Sea Palling to Waxham on the beach and back through the dunes is enjoyable. Good contact with the owners and a good welcome pack.

Had a very lovely week in Wagtail cottage. It is in a great location with loads to do in the local area. Cottage is very well equipped and we found everything we needed. Overall would definitely recommend.
The only downside to be aware of at time of booking is for EV owners. Charging is prohibited at the property (of course, this is totally at the owners discretion and is explained in the welcome booklet to be related to insurance) - but to my knowledge this isn’t highlighted on the main booking page.

Thank you so much for your review Emma and I would like to respond re EV charging. On our website we have an option to search for all properties with dedicated EV chargers so that EV owners can select a suitable property. The properties with EV chargers have a very clear mention of that on the website page. We haven't, until now, felt it necessary to specifically state on a property that does not have an EV charger that using the domestic plug socket is not permitted but we have included it in our digital guides. As an EV owner myself I am aware of 2 things - the high risk of using domestic plug points to charge my car and the various apps - ZapMap is a good example - that shows EV users where the official sockets are in and around their location. In the light of your feedback we will now update our website for the non-EV charging properties to state that domestics sockets are not safe for trickle charging. I do hope you were able to find somewhere to charge your Tesla in addition to the cottage supply.

This was our third stay at Wag-tail and it didn't disappoint. It is so clean and tidy, and smells fantastic, it feels home from home. We were made to feel so welcome and everything you need is waiting for you. The cottage is beautiful and the garden is fully secure. It is fairly secluded too so our reactive pup had a restful holiday too. The location is ideal for quiet, long walks on the doorstep and it is a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach.

Wag-Tail Cottage is a lovely cottage tucked away in Ingham Corner. It is clean and well maintained with a small secure garden for our dog to use during the night and quiet walks right on the doorstep for the days. The owners provided a lovely welcome box with human and canine treats and loads of info on what to see and do nearby. The local Tesco is in Stalham which is a little over 5 mins drive away. It was a bit wet weather on our week so do pack wellies as the fields and paths can get muddy. Highlight for us were the seals of Horsey Beach.

A compact but well equipped cottage. Very comfortable & whilst I understand the solid floors are better for being dog friendly, if you’re planning a stay in winter bring slippers or shoes to keep your feet warm as the floors get very cold in living areas, bedrooms all have carpets. Kitchen has every gadget & utensil you’d want & living/dining room is also well equipped & comfortable. Secure garden for dogs but close to a road with blind spot for drivers should your dog dash out of the front door off lead. Every doggie need provided for including comfy bedding, treats & bowls. With bathroom on ground floor a couple could stay very comfortably without having need to go upstairs. Excellent location with beaches within 5 min drive & other lovely destinations further north, west, east or south between 45-90 mins drive. Good Tesco 7 mins away with Sainsburys, Lidl & more a little further out. Lovely Chinese takeaway at Stalham called New Sage & for dog owners would recommend a visit to Holt Country Park - it’s lovely with added bonus of a tea room! Booking company couldn’t have been more helpful with every query answered & dealt with promptly. We enjoyed a very relaxing couple of weeks here & would certainly go back.

Thank you for your review. We are glad you had a nice time in the cottage. The cottage is 220years old and it is not possible to have underfloor heating due to its construction, however it is ideal to have hard floors for a very dog friendly cottage to keep them perfectly clean and spotless. With hard floors it is always advisable to wear slippers anyway. The new boiler which has been fitted is extremely proficient at keeping the cottage super warm. I do hope that your dog didn't actually escape from the front door of the cottage and run off. The country lane ( that I think you are meaning - for anyone who doesn't know the area ) is at least 50ft away from the cottage, at the end of the private Norfolk Loke. We love the area and as you say it's so centrally located that you can get to all the beaches, local supermarkets and other attractions easily, together with multiple country walks from the door. Thanks

Lovely cottage, loved the way it has been renovated / extension added with keeping some of the old features (like old wooden lintels over the doors....) and the tasteful decor. With it being winter, we also loved the wood burner.
Very dog friendly, as expected!
Great little library and nice to have a selection of maps to use - I had bought some maps beforehand and needn't have bothered...
Really good communication with owners, who e.g. let us know that the cottage was ready before 4pm, which was really helpful and checked in with us after a power cut in the night.

Had THE most amazing week in Wag-tail Cottage for Christmas. Weather was really kind, my 3 boys ( 2 x labs and a Newfy) absolutely loved all the walks on the beach and in the dunes and then loved just collapsing into a deep sleep and doggy snores.
The cottage was just perfect for us, 3 bedrooms, nice sized garden, great sized kitchen for cooking, lovely cozy lounge area to sit and chill and chat in.
This is the most perfect cottage for anyone looking for a Norfolk break.

Lovely cottage, great location. Small garden but very quirky and sweet. Close to local amenities in Stalham and excellent proximity to our favourite local beaches i.e.Walcott and Bacton and a bit more of a drive to Winterton on Sea. Owners were very accommodating and friendly throughout.

It was such a shame that you had to cut short your trip up in Norfolk. I do hope your dog keeps improving and is soon free from pain following his injury. We were confused with the scores given for this review as they do not match with the comments above or the comments left by you in our guest book at the cottage. eg - "lovely cottage, great location" yet only 4/5 given. Hopefully other people will read all the other reviews and see this is completely out of character with the normal high reviews we receive for Wagtail Cottage.

I’m not sure where to start ! If I could give a rating of 10 out of 5 I would. What a truly wonderful dog and human friendly cottage. So cosy and warm which is so important at the moment with the cost of living crisis. My dog is old now and we did wonder how she would settle with the change, but we wanted to risk it to avoid the fireworks (which there were barely any ) well she loved it ! Settled straight away. The little garden was perfect for her and she couldn’t tear herself away from the log burner. The welcome pack which catered for humans and canines was amazing.
We were all plotting how we could stay at Wag-tail forever ! After we got home Opal woke up from being asleep and started barking. My husband said she was annoyed because she wasn’t at Wag-tail !!

Thank you for the review. Im pleased that you all had a nice weekend and found the cottage cosy and clean. We pride ourselves in these two things and our cleaning team work super hard to keep it this way. With your break being school holidays and full occupancy in the cottage its a shame you felt it was not best value for money. Unfortunately the pricing would have been higher due to the dates chosen but I understand Sue gave a discount too which should have helped. Hopefully your party will come back again to stay out of peak times in the future. Kind regards

We had a fantastic 2 week stay at Wag-tail Cottage - it is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, has a good-sized enclosed garden and the cottage has everything possible in it to enable visitors to have a great time. There was a lovely welcome pack left for us on our arrival. It is really well located for long doggy walks on the beautiful Norfolk beaches, and there is a lovely countryside walk a few yards from the front door. There are lots of dog friendly cafes and pubs in the area, and the beautiful Broads are just a few minutes drive away.

We absolutely loved staying at Wagtail cottage. The cottage is very well furnished, to the highest standard but also very welcoming to dogs. Certainly the best and most welcoming cottage we have ever stayed in. The kitchen is very well equipped, plenty of cups, plates and everything else you could possible need which is not always the case in holiday lets. We used the downstairs bedroom and slept extremly well in the comfortable bed. We received a warm welcome from both East Ruston and the owner and the welcome pack was another wonderful bonus. The locations is perfect, a few short mintues drive to Stalham and to all the main beaches and cafes in the area.

We will certainly be back next year!

We had a fantastic stay at Wag-tail Cottage. The cottage is beautiful and the location was easy reach to many stunning local beaches. We had a lovely welcome basket and even the dogs were included in the yummy delights that were on offer. It was so nice to be able to come on holiday with our 3 dogs, this has always been difficult to pursue previously as most places only accept a maximum of 2 dogs. We will definitely return to the cottage as there are many more places we would like to explore.

We have never taken our dogs on holiday before. We used to kennel them until lockdown. Having not been away for 3 years and with both dogs now 10 years old, we decided it would be unfair to leave them in kennels. We also have a 16 month granddaughter who has not been on holiday before. To say we were apprehensive is an understatement!!
Wag-tail cottage was a home from home. Everything we worried about had already been taken care of.
We arrived in the middle of a heatwave, great if we'd been on our own, not so good with a toddler and two dogs. Fortunately the fully enclosed garden with plenty of shade provided the perfect solution. Lazy days and then late afternoon and evening trips to the beach. We particularly liked Cart-Gap. Unfortunately, by the time we were arriving, the cafe was closed so we didn't get a chance to sample it's delights.
Both the owners and the management team were in touch before our trip and throughout to check that everything was OK. We had no complaints and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wag-tail Cottage

Really loved Wagtail Cottage - immaculate throughout, very well equipped and everything possible had been thought about for
dogs and humans, with lots of lovely touches throughout.
Garden was lovely to sit in - dogs enjoyed the variety of sunbathing on the path stones and the grass when it got hot and just pottering around. Also very secure for small and large dogs.
So many walks straight from the door, which were great for reactive dogs, as hardly saw anyone on those walks, all through lovely
countryside.
Highly recommend a stay here.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Wagtail Cottage. The cottage is so comfortable, clean and peaceful, with a bedroom and bathroom downstairs which was ideal for us as my husband has Rheumatoid arthritis and often finds stairs difficult. It is in an ideal position near to Cart Gap and Sea Palling beaches and walks from the door and lots of things to do and see in the area. A delicious welcome hamper and even a birthday present and treats for our cockapoo! The owners Nikki and Jeff are so helpful (if you need them) and have made the cottage a real home from home. Would definitely like to return (if they would have us).

Wag-tail Cottage is a beautiful, incredibly well equipped, spotlessly clean, dog friendly cottage. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Loved sitting in the peaceful, fully dog secure garden. We have 2 galgos and a cocker spaniel and there was absolutely no way they could get out!
It is a really short drive to loads of different amazing beaches, which we and our dogs loved. All very dog friendly and perfect for off lead walks. Can’t recommend Wag-tail cottage enough!

We try to use independent or book direct with owners, rather than large companies. This is the first time we have used East Rushton Cottages. Choosing and booking a cottage was easy and contact from the owner whilst we were on holiday was really nice. The Cottage is comfortable, well equipped, in a peaceful rural location. Excellent secure back garden for our dog with dog bed, toys and treats supplied. Ingham is only a couple of miles from the town of Stalham with all the necessary amenities. The cottage is in a great location within easy reach of great beaches (especially Cart Gap), the Broads and Cromer. Also Wroxham, where we took the train into Norwich. The Star Inn at Lessingham is just up the road, with excellent food and good beers. We would thoroughly recommend East Rushton Cottages and Wag-Tail Cottage in particular.

We had a great holiday at Wagtail Cottage. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable . The beds were very comfortable and the sitting / dining room very cosy with a wood burning stove .The garden was secure for our dog sand we could walk from the door to a footpath across fields in minutes . Only a mile to the lovely Ingham Swan and less to the super dog friendly Lessingham Star ⭐️. We enjoyed super walks on the beaches at Cart Gap & Sea Palling, both a very short drive ( or longer walk) from the cottage. A few minutes longer and the beaches of Winterton can also be enjoyed . We highly recommend and would return to Wagtail Cottage.

We had a great dog-friendly holiday staying at the Wag-tail Cottage in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside. The cottage is a superb, more than 200 years old house with lots of wonderful features. The place (both the cottage and the garden) is perfect for dogs including those who might be reactive - the garden it is quiet, with lots of grass and shrubs to sniff (and pee) on. The cottage has everything one might need including a wood burner, dish washer, dog beds and crates if needed, and much more (including a supply of tennis balls). Wonderful beach walks are very close by (short drive) and if you don't fancy a beach or dunes walk, you can walk straight from the cottage into the beautiful countryside paths (we saw a hunting owl on our first morning walk :-). We wholeheartedly recommend the place and would love to come back.

Wagtail cottage was cosy ,clean and well equipped apart from the fact there were only two saucepans with lids ,not sure why none for others provided .
Instructions for everything were clear and concise .
Garden was secure for our dog which was our prime reason for staying here , unfortunately he won't use a garden to toilet ,fine through day as I could take him up footpath ,but his last walk at night meant I had to take him in car to Stalham .(A rescue dog with issues re cars and motor bikes so difficult to walk by roadside in the dark where there are no pavements or streetlights )
Would have appreciated a larger mirror in bathroom as I prefer to put my lenses in over the sink not the toilet!
The welcome pack was appreciated ...the fudge especially ...and it was nice to have some milk in fridge on arrival .
Overall we had a relaxing break and would consider using here again ,but maybe during summer when the nights are lighter so I could walk from cottage for last dog walk of the day .

Hi Judith, thank you for taking the time to do a review and we are so pleased you had such a good time and would love to have you back. We do supply torches at Wag-tail Cottage so that if guests want to take their dogs up the footpath from the cottage at night, they can easily do so. It is a lovely quiet path, just outside the door, leading directly to field edge footpaths and is often used by the Wag-tail guests (particularly as you can walk to the local dog friendly pub on this route!)

We have just spent a fabulous week at Wag-Tail cottage. The weather was perfect for daily walks on the many beautiful beaches surrounding the cottage, with Happisburgh and Winterton being our favourites. The cottage was clean and had a well stocked kitchen, the garden was secure for our 2 spaniels and the log burner was nice in the colder evenings. The welcome hamper was a lovely, personal touch and was enjoyed by all, including the dogs. There was the use of a medium crate, which was perfect for our puppy and the stairs had a gate, to stop them paying visits upstairs! It's a beautiful area to explore, with the fantastic smallsticks cafe 5 minutes drive away. We hope to be back next year.

Perfect location for the coast this house became our home from home and was perfect in every way
Space for us all 3 adults and 4 dogs and a level of comfort matched with an attention to detail ( dog treats for each dog with labels on each bag with our dogs name on them)

This was our second stay at Wag-tail cottage and it was just as perfect as the first time. We have a reactive dog so this is the perfect location for quiet walks in the nearby fields/paths and only a short drive to the many beaches (that are also so quiet!). We were made to feel so welcome on arrival with a lovely hamper, milk and eggs. The cottage was spotless and smelt beautiful. It really is home from home and we already can't wait to go back.

We stayed at Wagtail Cottage and had a lovely few nights away with the dogs. It felt like a home from home - very welcoming, clean and great location. We have two large breed dogs so I often worry how 'dog friendly' a place really is. Worry no more! East Ruston Cottages were a pleasure to book with - all very easy and lots of info before arrival so we could arrive and immediately know the best pubs, cafes and beaches to visit with the dogs. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Wagtail cottage, a real home from home. In reality probably nicer than home! The beds are super comfortable, everything is thought of for the dogs, spare leads, water bowls, throws for sofas and even dog beds. The location is super convenient for trips to beaches at Sea Palling and Cart Gap (our favourite) and Winterton (our first visit) not too far either. The supermarket at Stalham is only 7 minutes away in the car, lots of lovely pubs and cafes around, everywhere we went was dog friendly. We had a small issue while we were there (not of the owners making) and Nikki was very helpful and communicated quickly, suffice to say it did not spoil our enjoyment of this lovely house.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Norfolk staying at Wagtail Cottage. The whole booking system with East Ruston cottages was very easy and the cottage did not disappoint. The cottage was very clean, well appointed and homely. Lovely touches like the welcome hamper and the biscuits for our dog Archie. It is much bigger inside that you imagine and provided ample space for the 5 of us. Everything you might need was provided for - we even had the welcome distraction of no mobile phone signal (thank you EE!) unless you walked up the lane! Lots of information provided in the welcome booklet on things to do and local amenities. Highly recommend the Broadland Fish and Chip shop in nearby Stalham but do phone ahead with your order as it gets very busy. Small but secure and well kept garden, perfect for Archie and spending a relaxing time watching the birds and enjoying the peace and quiet. Ingham a very good location. The phrase I heard used was "in the middle of nowhere but close to everything" which very true. Stalham is only 5 minutes by car and has a range of shops and takeaways and pubs. We managed to cram in two beaches, two steam railways, a visit to Cromer and Sheringham plus a trip around the Broads and a few pub lunches. All in all a perfect week.

Very clean, large cottage suited 4 adults and 2 labs down to the ground. Beautiful garden and very well decorated all through, comfortable beds and living furniture. We liked the area surrounding and have already booked nearby for next year. Also we loved how welcome our dogs were they are our babies and to have them feel so at home means a lot for 2 ageing souls. We will definitely return to wag tail in the future.

The cottage was great, it had enough room for four and a dog, but would feel tight with 6 adults and dog. Garden was a little small but would be helped by reducing the height of trees behind. Driveway is a bit tricky to get into but absolutely fine as was advised by the owner in advance. (just need to take care and reverse in).

Kitchen is well equipped and loved the 'cooler' box in the bottom of the fridge for beer and wine. The agent and owner were lovely throughout and would recommend both of them to anyone.

My only negatives would be the lack of decent and sharp kitchen knives and hob is slow to heat up. TV was a little small to view and please get bath sheets rather than bath towels as the latter are just too small for most people. The cost was at the top end for its size but these were the only issues which could easily be resolved...

The Welcome box was lovely and extensive and we enjoyed most of it. The doggie name tags (I'm on holiday) was a good idea.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Wagtail Cottage. The cottage was immaculate with very comfy beds. It is very quiet with a leafy track from the door which is very handy to walk your dog. There are so many lovely beaches nearby and we enjoyed an afternoon on the broads in a canoe with the dog and the children. The cottage is very dog friendly and East Ruston Cottages made the stay very straightforward and were a pleasure to deal with. We can highly recommend Wagtail Cottage.

We had a lovely stay at Wagtail cottage, the cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The welcome pack was a lovely touch too. There was 4 adults, 1 child and 4 dogs but at no point did we feel on top of each other, it was a perfect size!
The beds were comfortable, the shower was good and the WiFi worked, great stay, I would highly recommend it!

We have just returned home after a great stay at Wagtail, we had a lovely time, the cottage was very clean when we arrived and was perfect for the 4 adults and 3 dogs. Unfortunately we needed the vets during our stay but the information of the closed st ones were at hand within the cottage info. The garden was a great place to chill as we were really lucky with the weather so made great use of the outdoor table and bbq. Would highly recommend Wagtail to anyone.

Firstly, booking with East Ruston Cottages was so straight forward and easy. Great communication throughout with handy information. I would definitely book via East Ruston again and highly recommend to others.

The accommodation, Wag-Tail cottage, was perfect for dogs and humans alike. It felt like home from the moment we walked in. It was spotless, welcoming and had everything we could have wished for. The welcome hamper was such a lovely touch. The location of the cottage was also fantastic. We have a fear reactive dog, so the walks that were literally on the door step were great for us. We didn't see another dog the whole time we were walking and there was so much to explore. The garden is secure, not over looked at all and very relaxing. I couldn't recommend this cottage enough, we will definitely be back, just perfect, thank you!

This cottage exceeded all expectations. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is very modern and the kitchen is huge and well equipped. The only thing we thought it needed as a separate toilet. The garden is compact but well thought out. There is bird life in abundance and countryside walks from the front door. The beaches are only a short drive away, with one taking about 20 mins to walk to. We had four big dogs & a little one and they had a wonderful time. We all loved it.

Have just returned from a wonderful week at Wagtail Cottage, Ingham Corner with our 4 dogs. A lovely, quiet and cosy cottage. Dog beds, crates, throws for the sofa, Dog toys and bowls were all there if you needed them. Humans were also well catered for with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner and welcome pack. We ordered the afternoon tea to be at the cottage for our arrival and it was superb.
Country walks straight from the door and a short drive from some beautiful dog friendly beaches and pubs.
I would not hesitate to book with East Ruston Cottages again and in fact we have already! Sue made it so easy and responded promptly to any questions we had.

We stayed at the cottage in May 2021. My daughter, 2 dogs and myself. There was a lovely welcome hamper to greet us on arrival.
It was well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine the only thing I didn’t find was a hairdryer but I’d taken my own.

Lots of lovely walks around the fields surrounding the cottage.
It was a short distance to the coast and a short drive to shops with a large Tesco.

We throughly enjoyed our 4 day break.
