Bramble Cottage was a great little place to stay if you want peace and quiet. Keswick is a 15min walk away, mostly downhill and with easy access to the cycle trail. The cottage itself had everything we needed... plenty of hot water, good shower and very comfy bed. Sadly not all the cooking utensils and oven door were clean, and whilst it's understandable that it's an old building, there were patches of damp in the bathroom and bedroom that required some TLC. Unfortunately we had a small spillage whilst we were there which we reported in to the office, and this was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Thank you. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Thank you for a lovely review of Bramble Cottage, I am sorry the cleaning was not up to our normal standard, had we been made aware we would have asked our cleaner to call back and address this. We will ask the owners to address the issues raised with the damp patches. We hope we can welcome you back again in the future.

Peaceful

We loved our stay at Bramble Cottage. If you like peace and quiet but to be near enough to the town on foot then i recommend here. The apartment is quiet and there are a few picnic benches next to the car park with a gorgeous view that we took advantage of in the evenings.

Also we really appreciated the welcome pack of extra strawberry jam, local butter, bread and cookies.

Accommodation was comfortable. Disappointed to turn up and find no clean towels or linen. This was quickly fixed, though there was subsequent confusion when the cleaner turned up a day early. Attention to detail could be better ( some sinks blocked, instructions for rubbish could have been clearer). However, overall, this is a nice place in a lovely location, and good value for money.

We are pleased you enjoyed the location and your stay at Bramble Cottage. Once again we apologies for the cottage not been cleaned on arrival, unfortunately our cleaner had covid and was too unwell to advise us and it was only on your arrival that this came to light. We hope despite this you enjoyed your stay and we hope we can welcome you back again in the future.
