The City of Carlisle has an abundance of facilities for a family get away, within a 10 minute drive you will find the Lanes Shopping Centre, Castle, Cathedral, Tullie House Museum, and the children will love the soft play centres, trampoline park and other attractions. The Lake District is easily reached with Ullswater a 30 minute drive, Hadrian’s Wall is also a short drive and the Solway Coast can be reached in less than an hour.
