Emilys Nook was perfect for us, everything we needed for our break away after a stressful few months. It is in a small peaceful village with walks from the door over the Caldbeck Fells, the views are breathtaking to Bassenthwaite and the Cumbria coast. Bassenthwaite is only a short drive. The cherry on the cake was a cooling refreshment in the pub before climbing the stairs for dinner. If your worried about noise from the pub, don't be, we were pleasantly surprised how little noise there is.

Thank you for your 5* review of Emily's Nook. The apartment is perfectly placed for pulling on your walking boots and heading into the fells from your door, and we have to agree, the Caldbeck fells have some of the best vistas, especially on a clear day.
