Keswick has 2 popular parks, Fitz Park and Hope Park both offering various activities including crazy golf and tennis. If golf is your thing, then golfers will delight in the Keswick Golf Course, with what is often described as the most scenic golf course in England.
Being on the shores of the lake, you can meander down to the shoreline and enjoy a cruise around the lake taking in the majestic mountains towering above, or hire a row boat, try paddle boarding and other water sport based activities. The market town of Cockermouth and the popular Lake District village of Grasmere are both within a 15 minute drive, with Ambleside and Windermere within half an hours drive. Bassenthwaite Lake is 3 miles north with The Lake District Wildlife Park being a great day out for young and old.
