Harding House, Seascale is perfectly located to explore the best of both worlds; think lazy beach days followed by stunning sunsets or climbing some of the western fells and admiring the 360 degree panoramic views over the Lake District to the Irish Sea and beyond. Harding House is a bungalow in the popular Victorian seaside resort of Seascale with ice cream shop, café and village inn all within a short walk. The contemporary bungalow is ideal for family holidays or for couples looking for a seaside base with or without the family dog, the beach offers miles of sandy walk and is literally a stones throw away.

The bungalow has gas central heating and has a lounge with L shaped sofa, Smart TV and dining table with views over the front garden. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to rustle up a culinary delight with a gas hob and electric oven, fridge, microwave and washing machine. The master bedroom has a super king size bed can convert to twin beds (please request at the time of booking). A second bedroom has a king size bed. The family shower room has a walk in shower and hand basin. The rear garden is accessed via the decking and several steps to the lawned garden with garden furniture.

All gas, electric, bed linen and towels are provided. Two well behaved dogs welcome. Private parking for 1 car. There is a garden to the front and rear of the bungalow, please note that whilst the bungalow has step free access, the rear garden is accessed via a number of steps.

We recently stayed at this charming two-bedroom bungalow in the peaceful coastal village of Seascale with our dog, and it was a truly lovely experience from start to finish. Being so close to the beach made it feel like a real seaside escape, and having Seascale Golf Course nearby added to the relaxed, holiday atmosphere.

Inside, the bungalow was warm, comfortable, and well laid out, with plenty of natural light. Both bedrooms were cosy and inviting, making it easy to unwind after days spent exploring the area and enjoying the fresh coastal air.

The highlight for us—and especially for our dog—was the outdoor space. The large garden was perfect for letting them stretch their legs safely, and the decking area quickly became our favourite spot for morning coffee and quiet evenings while they relaxed beside us.

The location couldn’t have been better. We loved being able to take short walks to the beach, which our dog absolutely adored, and the whole area had a calm, welcoming feel that made it ideal for a pet-friendly getaway.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return. It’s a perfect spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, dog-friendly break by the sea with plenty of space to relax both inside and out.
