Broughton Fell is a picturesque holiday destination located in the beautiful Lake District National Park. The area is known for its stunning natural scenery, charming villages, and outdoor recreational opportunities.

Broughton Fell is situated in the southwestern part of the Lake District, near the small and historic market town of Broughton-in-Furness. This location offers a perfect blend of rolling hills, lush green valleys, and breathtaking vistas of the surrounding fells and mountains.

Away from the fells Britain’s coastal path is within a short distance and has stunning views over Morecambe Bay and the Irish Sea. The area is perfect for cyclists on the quieter and flatter country roads.

The 200 year old Cumbrian Bank barn retains many traditional features combined with modern day comforts to ensure a relaxing and peaceful break away no matter the time of year. The Stable is a ground floor 1 bedroom cottage, whilst the 2 bedroom Hayloft is on the upper ground and first floor. The cottages can be rented together to accommodate 6 people.

The cottage is heated by oil central heating and comprises: Entrance porch with washer/dryer, bench seating and space for coats and boots. Characterful open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with beams, exposed stone walls, 32” TV and comfy seating. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and microwave. Master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower room with large walk in shower, hand basin and WC.

All electric, oil, bed linen and towels provided. Private parking for 1 car and bike store available. Small patio area with seating and table.

After a week with all the family , this little cottage was just what we needed. A short car ride from Ulvaston , the cottage was cosy, clean and had everything we needed to recharge our batteries. The bed was great and the pillows divine .
