This was our fourth stay at this property and yet again it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. It is an extremely comfortable and cosy place to stay with the most incredible views to be seen from pretty much every single window. The view from the main upstairs bedroom window is just stunning. There are so many fantastic walks on the doorstep and pooley bridge is just a five minute bus ride away ( the bus stop is a two minute walk from the property) or a 40 minute walk via the Ullswater way route.
I don’t see how anyone could stay here and not absolutely love it. We stay for a week and it is never enough time. We will definitely be back again.

This was our third visit to this property and it never disappoints. Everything was wonderful and it’s a real home from home. Lovely and peaceful with the most stunning views and an extremely comfortable stay. The house had absolutely everything we needed and more. If you stay here you should not be disappointed.

We cannot put into words how much we enjoyed our stay. The furnishings & decor are beautiful. The location is superb - views to Lake Ullswater from the cottage. We were close enough for a short drive into Windermere & Ambleside. Visited Rheged, Penrith. Enjoyed the pub which is a 2 min walk from the cottage. Would love to stay again in the summer & have told many friends about this cottage.
