We always love going to the Cotswolds. Having found St Michael's Cottage we have no need to look anywhere else. The cottage give us cosiness in bad weather and the garden is bliss on good weather days. Easy access to shops, restaurants, coffee shops and good walking. We cannot fault our St Michael's Cottage holidays, you only have to see how many times we have stayed there.
This was our second stay at Grooms Cottage. So good to find such wonderful dog-friendly accommodation in a beautiful location.
This is our favourite cottage after many years in the area and we always look forward to returning each October. The cleanliness is first class, there is ample cutlery, crockery and glass ware. The beds are very comfortable and ensure a good nights sleep.
Lovely house in a beautiful village. Very close to Broadway and other places of interest. Unfortunately, one of the toilets malfunctioned but it did not stop us enjoying a really relaxing break.
Superb well equipped cottage in delightful village, with excellent local pub. Stairs to two of the bedrooms could be a challenge for small children or the elderly. The cottage is ideal for both Summer and winter visits....warm and cosy with beautiful outside space.
My first solo holiday since my husband passed away & I couldn’t have found a better place. Debbie was absolutely lovely, and on hearing my dog was a nervous rescue she ensured the farm dogs were kept away, going above and beyond to provide excellent customer care. The barn is beautiful, perfectly located for great walks. Unlimited logs for the log burner was a lovely extra touch.
A perfect place to celebrate our big day with our family. Kitchen very well stocked. Gym used every day.
Our stay at Alysas Cottage was great. Very comfortable and stylish accommodation right in the middle of a working farm. Great access to countryside walks.
We had a lovely, relaxing holiday at Fairfields. The house is in a great location with parking, literally round the corner from the main street. There is a dog walking field/children`s playground a stones throw from the house which was useful. There are several pubs and cafes serving great food in Moreton, which we made the most of, it made a relaxing base for our winter holiday. We arrived at the end of January and found the house very warm and welcoming. There are high walls to each side of the garden, it was secure for the dog. The cupboards are full with cookwear/plates/pans etc, we had to...more
Four of us stayed at Upper End House for a short break and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable, good linen and the log fire kept us warm during many fireside chats. We appreciated that the kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed. Thank you
A beautiful cottage with space for the 5 of us on different levels. Location was ideal for visiting different places across the Cotswold and even being on the main road it wasn’t too busy. Great size and equipped kitchen, lovely garden for relaxing and playing games. Ceilings downstairs had beams and some doorways felt short but all part of the charm of an old cottage.
This property is pretty, clean and beutifully presented. There was a very generous stock of logs and the fire worked well. Beds were super comfy and there was plenty of hot water. Its in a small development but is extremely quiet but its a drive anywhere as there is no shop close, but all the main cotswolds attractions can easily be reached.
Very comfortable, well maintained and very well equipped. A family get-together was enjoyed by all in very comfortable surroundings.
There was nothing wrong with the house and there certainly wasn't anything wrong with the gorgeous garden and the view out over the river Avon and beyond. What we would have changed was the weather but that was my fault as I picked the wrong week! Given we were holed up indoors more than we would have liked I would have preferred a more up to date TV that would give up all the channels listed.
Stayed here for a week with 3 generations and we had a lovely time. The cottage is big, comfortable and as well equipped as any that I have stayed in, with pretty much everything that you could need in the kitchen (including empty cupboards for food, which is rare) and an endless supply of logs, kindling and lighters for the open fire. The location is very remote, with a 10 minute drive to find a white line in the road which means that even nearby places take a while to get to and from, but with that comes peace and quiet which is what we were looking for.
We had a lovley couple of nights at this very pretty cottage, situated conveniently to visit surrounding area. Dolly our little Jack Russell loved the log fire!
The directions to the cottage were poor and the cottage was inadequately signposted. 2nd bedroom more suitable for a single bed as the ceiling slope was so extreme. Bed very uncomfortable. Having stayed in very many cottage’s I’ve never had one that didn’t at least leave a complimentary pint of milk.
We enjoyed staying in the cottage, which was tastefully furnished and with a homely feel. The cottage was reached down a long driveway which meant it was surrounded by beautiful countryside. Plenty of local walks to be had. A couple of good pubs serving great food within walking distance and others within a short drive. A very enjoyable week.
Lovely property, and in a great location. We enjoyed our stay and would return. Couple of notes, the bed wasn't cleaned properly. When we arrived we found what looked like both human and dog hair on the bedding. And there is a leak from the bath to the kitchen floor. We did email to advise customer services of this, but haven't received a response.
Lovely characterful cottage with useful annexe. Well-equipped. Pretty, well-enclosed and private garden. We had great weather so enjoyed and appreciated the outdoor space. Super village location with several excellent places to visit within an half hour drive. Good pub/restaurant a few minutes walk away. We had a wonderful family holiday.
Beautiful cottage and reassuring property manager who was on hand if we needed anything. The Fox pub is 2 minutes away and is a must-visit. We will be returning next year.
