Fantastic holiday home, great location, perfect in every way. The cottage is beautiful and so well done it was lovely to spend time there, we didn’t want to leave!
Second visit to this well equipped comfortable cottage. Good location for exploring the area on foot or by car.
This is a lovely property in an excellent location. We had an enjoyable stay. A very small point, there were no loo rolls or dishwasher tablets as mentioned in the details but this wasn't a big deal. We were happy to provide our own. This was a base for a family get together much appreciated by all. Thank you.
Fantastic Barn had everything you could want and more. Location was ideal. Cannot wait to return. 10/10+++ Cleaned to an inch of its life run by an absolute gem of a lady Debbie Colman
Superb well equipped cottage in delightful village, with excellent local pub. Stairs to two of the bedrooms could be a challenge for small children or the elderly. The cottage is ideal for both Summer and winter visits....warm and cosy with beautiful outside space.
Really nice cottage in beautiful surroundings. Jeff was on the ball. Made a more than peaceful stay .
A most delightful cottage which met all our needs. The facilities were 1st class and the kitchen was a pleasure to work in and the location in this Cotswold village could not be better. We shall return again.
A perfect place to celebrate our big day with our family. Kitchen very well stocked. Gym used every day.
We had a lovely break in Gardeners cottage which is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The garden is beautiful and well kept ..we were able to relax whilst kids played in the spacious grounds. We appreciated the welcome pack Thank u We did find that the wifi connection is weak but did not let that dampen our break !
Had a superb week stay at Fairfields. The property is well located for all the local facilities and ammenities. We really enjoyed our stay in a very well presented and clean property. It had all that we needed and more. Should we return to the area on holiday again then we shall look no further then staying at Fairfields. Thank you John and Ann
We had a good time in the holiday house, it was well equipped and the fire place was great. The walking trail in the front of the house as great too!
Had a lovely time but a bit disappointed that the gift card for the deli which has always be given previously wasn’t available even though stated in arrival info
I look forward to returning again with my family. Wonderful cottage and location and a perfect place to visit.
We booked The Old Smithy for a short break after a very busy time. It was idyllic. We did't want to do very much and to sit in front of a log fire in a beautiful cottage was out of this world. Everything you could want was there in this cosy cottage. so thank you so much.
The Bakery is ideal for a quiet and very comfortable getaway. Non slip bath mat and handrail in shower would be welcome.
It is our 3rd stay at Claytons Cottage and we love the place. It does of course depend on what you want as it is effectively in the middle of a field, but it is close enough to enough things that it doesn't present an issue to us, but it may to others. The cottage itself is a good size for a family of 4, you can squeeze a couple of smaller kids into the attic room with the trundle beds. It is cosy and well stocked, there are always plenty of towels and the welcome pack is always very welcome.
Really enjoyable stay in a fabulous cottage which was spacious (there was 11 of us), immaculate and warm. Very well equipped kitchen, kids loved the snug and games cupboard, as well as the table tennis in the garage! Bourton on the Water has a lot to offer, pubs, cafes, shops and tourist attractions. We had a great time, loved the house, and hope to return!!
House was located in peaceful lane, lovely countryside views. It was very clean, very homely, we all wanted to stay longer. Garden was safe for the children. It does seem a lot of money but we had such a wonderful long weekend it was worth it and I would definitely book again

Lovely comfortable, clean, well fitted out cottage in a very convenient location in Stow on the Wold. Perfect for a short family break, or would be ideal for two couples.
Bay Tree Cottage is a lovely cottage and Shipton-Under-Wychwood a great village as a base for a break in the Cotswolds. The Cottage is really comfortable for two and well equipped. Parking around the corner no problem at all. Our Host provided loads of information before we travelled and met us just after we arrived which was great, and had also left a welcome hamper with bread, wine and Hot Cross Buns. Thoroughly Recommended !!
We spent an excellent family weekend with our dog at Stone Barn. The accommodation was excellent with large open plan sitting room kitchen/dinner. The downstairs bedroom with ensuit bathroom was particulary useful for my husband who has limited mobility. We were very impressed with the high-end appliances fitted in the property. All the bedrooms were comfortable, clean and with TV installed with full Sky package including movie channel. The wall garden provided privancy and security for our dog. If we were there in the summer, it would be an excellent place for BBQ and relaxing. We were also i...more
Very clean. Strange kitchen layout (dishwasher not near the sink, cabinets cannot be opened when dishwasher is open..) but nothing to worry about as one doesn’t live there. Comfortable beds, good showers, all in all good. The messages of what to do and what ABSOLUTELY not to touch!!! felt a bit unwelcoming. No welcome message or little things (eg small milk, orange juice, butter, cookies) provided that are normal at other places we have rented in the past. There were flowers on a sidetable. Owners live next door. Nice enough lady (never met the husband). It should be mentioned that they live...more
The Old Chequer is beautiful cottage situated in a lovely location. From Drayton you can explore so many National Trust properties, Cotswolds Farm Park and villages like Bampton, Burton on the Water & Moreton in the Marsh. Once you've explored and are loaded up with goodies from the local farm shops, you can settle down in front of a log fire on comfortable sofas and relax. The old stone floored kitchen has all the mod-cons and access to a well maintained garden with lovely planting, Our dog loved it and spent a lot of time sniffing and snuffling around, as we sat out on the patio. Both the...more
A very sweet little cottage in an excellent location. It was very warm & cosy and just right for a short stay. Lots of quirky features like the kitchen & upstairs windows. Very steep stairs and creaky wooden floors. Wouldn’t suit someone with any mobility issues! Loved that it overlooked the church but a bit disconcerting that people park/walk right past the sitting room windows. We kept the shutters half closed for privacy sake. Also parking in Church Street was a bit heart stopping as it is narrow and most of the residents park on the lane. That said we did manage to find a space close to t...more
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Top Cottage. It is well appointed and quirky, with plenty of room for everyone. We had some very wet weather and greatly appreciated the cosy log fire. The annexe is excellent, ideal for anyone who likes their own space. The outside space is very private and pretty. The only negative comment I have is it would be sensible to have dinnerplates that fit into the small dishwasher, they were too large so had to be hand washed.
Had a lovely stay at corner cottage. Everything was perfect and the location was ideal for us. The only problem was with the top floor bedroom which was extremely damp and quite uncomfortable to sleep in at night. Other than that an excellent stay
