I have stayed in many holiday homes over the years. This is an absolutely incredible house.

For a start it’s absolutely beautiful to look at. Internally the rooms are beautifully finished and the bathrooms are again beautiful and finished to a fantastic standard.

Then there is the garden. It’s beautiful and there can’t be many nicer places to sit in the evening and enjoy the sunshine.

On top of all this is the location. If you’ve never been to broadway it’s fabulous. Great for independent shops and there must be 10 places you can go to have a pint and a high quality spa. All less than 5 minutes walk!! There is even a spa to walk to. Also the house is just slightly out of town so don’t get the traffic!!

We have already booked for next year.

I can’t see us ever staying in a more beautiful home in such a fabulous location.

We always love going to the Cotswolds. Having found St Michael's Cottage we have no need to look anywhere else. The cottage give us cosiness in bad weather and the garden is bliss on good weather days. Easy access to shops, restaurants, coffee shops and good walking. We cannot fault our St Michael's Cottage holidays, you only have to see how many times we have stayed there.

Apart from a small mix up over gaining access to the cottage the accommodation was essentially faultless. The garden was large and beautiful, the cottage was very well equipped, the bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely. Although expensive, between two couples this was a super week’s stay.

Simply the best Cotswold Cottages we have stayed in. Absolutely stunning and in a great location just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Broadway. This is out third stay at this cottage and each time there has been an addition, last time a sunny extension into the garden and this time a separate luxury TV room in the garden and the drive has been changed to give privacy to cars parked on the drive plus electric gates.

It is extensively equipped with everything you would ever need and with three en suite bedrooms, a luxury kitchen, the summer room and the large beamed lounge, a lovely place to stay.

No wonder it gets booked up so fast.

Thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay there.

We stayed at St. Michael’s Cottage in April 2024. The cottage, service, and location far exceeded our expectations. The cottage is the perfect combination of historic charm and modern convenience. The Owners thought of everything to make it the best experience - from detailed suggestions for local experiences to top shelf items provided (comfy towels and linens, soaps, coffee, etc). And the gardens…wow. Simply put - it is Ritz Carlton of cottages and we will definitely be back!

This property is absolutely faultless, the owners have thought of everything and our week went by far too quickly. The gardens are stunning and the location is perfect especially for guests who maybe have mobility issues. Broadway town centre is literally a 5 minute amble away on flat ground. We are so impressed we have already rebooked for next year and can’t wait.

This cottage was magical. Typical chocolate box cottage from outside with an internal twist with wonderful bathrooms and kitchen. Each room was perfect and only wish we could have sat in the garden as well.
If I had one complaint, the open fire was difficult to set up and we had a back draft of smoke which we smelt for a few days - a log burner would probably cure this?

We had a lovely week in this beautiful cottage. The sun room is a great addition, with views out to the lovely garden. In a great location, it was easy to walk into Broadway, even for the older members of our party. There are also nice walks from the doorstep. St. Michaels Cottage seriously exceeded our expectations in everyway. It's clear the owners take a huge amount of pride in the house and everything has been planned to create a clean, warm and cozy environment. The kitchen is fantastically equipped, we were short of nothing. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and looked very new. We never actually used the lounge as the sun room/lounge was all we needed. The south facing garden is immaculate and full of wildlife. Overall we had such a relaxing stay and have booked to visit again later this year for a week. All of Broadway's amenities are in 2 minutes walk of the house, so you don't really need a car and can be quite self sufficient.

This cottage is outstanding and is certainly the best RR we have stayed in. The location is perfect just a five minute walk to the centre of Broadway. The garden is lovely with plenty of outside seats (with cushions) should the weather be good. The new extension into the garden area is nice too. The cottage is much larger than you expect from a thatched cottage.

They say you shouldn’t judge a book by the cover. But if you judged this book by its immaculate picture-perfect bucolic bliss cover then you’d be right on the money.

This cottage is fabulous. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms luxurious, the living spaces are large and beautifully furnished. It’s like a five star hotel. Outside is a big garden that gets lots of sun and has high quality furniture for everyone to socialise around. It feels like no expense has been spared here, nothing has been done on the cheap. It’s a really lovely house.

The location is brilliant too, only a couple of minutes walk from downtown Broadway and a short drive from the wider Cotswolds in one direction or other magnificent things like the Malvern hills in the other direction.

We had a brilliant week here and I recommend it to everyone.

St Micheals cottage was the highlight of our 6 week tour of Europe. The property and accommodation is unsurpassed!
The cottage is beautiful and so comfortable and the gardens are magnificent. Broadway is a wonderful home base to explore the Cotswolds. It was fun to be able to walk from the cottage into the village and access the Cotswold Way.
Lance and his wife and the gardener Pip are delightful!
We hope to return to St. Michaels cottage in the near future.

We loved this place the same moment when we arrived at the premises in Broadway. Surrounded by beautiful gardens we stayed in a unique, comfortable and cosy cottage which is equipped at a high standard and provides lots of space for the whole family The owner
has recently renovated the building including the kitchen area which allows all kind of cooking, and stylish bathrooms on the second floor. Just around the corner you will find the signs to enter the Cotswolds path with very nice hiking opportunities. St. Michael‘s cottage is a real gem, don‘t miss it.

Not only is this beautiful cottage stylishly furnished and of the highest quality, it is also nestled within a stunning garden in a pretty village with heart melting surroundings. The cottage is extremely well equipped and from the minute you walk in, you get the feeling the owner, together with his house keeping team, want you to be happy and have a wonderful time. Everything is galore and of excellence. I have seen many beautiful cottages over many years, what made St. Michael's stand out from other luxurious cottages is the effort to pamper you.
