We loved that we could put the children to bed and still be close by to relax as a group of friends (4 adults, 2 children- 2 families) we stayed for one night. Would have happily stayed for more with extra prep - it’s proper camping without needing to put up a tent!

They provide bottom sheets but no bedding whatsoever- bring everything included a fitted sheet, making the beds up high was arse ache with the waterproof mattress and a sheet. There was no grip! It would be nice to have some lower fairy lights for the below bunks because we had no light after the children went to bed and ended up propping a phone on top of the door and moving the table on the porch area to shelter us from the rain.

The facilities were excellent, cook area, shower area and toilets.

Helpful amedments:

Soft outside light
Lower bed lamps
Build the veranda out further with a shelter
(When hiding from the wind and rain it was a very tight squeeze right up to the door and we needed to climb over to get in and out)
More hooks for towels and coats (only about 4 for 8 beds) when it’s rainy you need them.

Overall great, we would do again, with extra chairs, and all the camping gear, this is not glamping. Bring everything with you!

We really enjoyed our stay at the farm, we stayed in the containers which were well kept and had 8 beds with plenty of storage space. The communal kitchen was well equipped and clean. The same goes for the toilet/shower block we were impressed with the level of cleanliness. The containers are the only accommodation that didn’t include complimentary farm entry which was a shame but we still felt we had good value for money. The farm itself is great and our children particularly enjoyed the ‘summer party’.

We had a lovely stay at Tapnell farm. We booked the aqua park and booked the padel court a couple of times, both activities were fantastic. We ate in the cow restaurant and agreed they served some of the best burgers we’ve eaten. The games room was also a big hit with my boys, we will definitely be back to stay again.

Excellent stay , would recommend. Very clean and comfortable, good facilities. Very good shower block and kitchen.
