We had a lovely stay at Tapnell farm. We booked the aqua park and booked the padel court a couple of times, both activities were fantastic. We ate in the cow restaurant and agreed they served some of the best burgers we’ve eaten. The games room was also a big hit with my boys, we will definitely be back to stay again.
This was a fantastic residential. The site is set in a perfect location surrounded by beautiful countryside but within reach of lots of great places for days out including the local beaches. All of the staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful. I can't recommend this residential highly enough.
Great house for our group and such a bonus to be next to Tapnell farm with all the facilities and such a beautiful location- we will definitely Italy be back!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to get married. The location was incredible, but what made it so special was having the farmhouse for our family and friends to stay together, right alongside the beautiful stone ceremony barn and the other barn where we ate, drank and danced the night away. This is our second stay at the Wendy House- this time we brought grandparents who were very impressed. The views are beautiful and the accommodation is lovely- well equipped and comfortable. Our children always adore visiting Tapnell Farm and had endless fun on the pedal go carts, slides and guinea pig fishing!

Our party of 18 stayed at East Afton over Christmas and the New Year. The kids took full advantage of the free entry to Tapnnall Farm, toddlers were ferried by car but the older ones and adults enjoyed the short walk across the fields. The accommodation was perfect for us with enough space to seek a spell of peace and quiet if you need a spell away from the full on Christmas excitement. We really loved this location with lots of activities for the children (13 and 10) and adults are like. The Dome is beautiful and really great to have the hot tub
We had the best week at the IOW with Tapnell farm and Dome 5 being the perfect base to explore the island. Tapnell farm exceeded our expectations with lots of fun for the children with everything to do there included in the entry fee. The Dome accommodation was also perfect. Very clean, plenty of room and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The addition of the ninja wood fire was also perfect to allow the full experience of outdoor living during this period of dry weather and bbq bans. My daughter stayed here after her sisters wedding although she loved it and the scenery, I just thought it was expensive.
Kids loved it - 4yo paradise. Lovely sunsets, all the home comforts, everything you need is on your doorstep. Will be back. Tiniest of criticisms was quality of the mattresses - but that could just be personal preference.
The cabin was very well appointed and just right for our holiday requirements. The facilities were great for the grandchildren. The booking especially of the ferry was all extremely efficient. Only criticism was that the cabin got extremely hot and we could have cooled it down if we could have opened all the windows at night, but then the mosquitoes were a problem. I know these were exceptional circumstances, but it might help to have mosquito netted fittings at the windows if this kind of extreme heat is going to become more of the norm in the summer. As a primary school from London, we recently visited and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The children thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the trip and were engaged, excited, and smiling throughout. The accommodation was excellent, comfortable, and well-suited to our group's needs. We had a fantastic family holiday at Tapnell farm. For the first few days we stayed in one of the Modulogs which had its own private terrace and hot tub and lovely view of farmland, headland and the sea just visible in the distance. This accommodation is quite. private and it's a great place to immerse yourself in nature and really wind down. We felt really comfortable letting the children roam off on their own to visit the various activities around the site and to explore the woods and countryside. I. strongly recommend it.
Tapnell Farm is a great place to stay, great sunsets in the evening. We stayed in one of the Domes but picked the wrong week as the temperature inside the Dome was not the place to be, we had 3 fans provided which helped at night but was just to hot. We cooked outside on the BBQ provided which was good and the firepit was great (coal firelighters and logs provided by Tapnell). Double bed was ok but had a wooden ledge around the bed so not that easy to get in or out. Kitchen fully kitted out with all the essentials a Freezer in the fridge would have be a plus! We only stayed for one night and as a family we had an amazing time. Our children have wonderful memories and are always asking when we are going. We will definitely be going back.
Tapnell farm staff has been incredibly helpful. Any questions has been answered promptly via email/phone. All information, tickets and directions has been up to date. They even booked our red funnel ferry at a massively discounted price. We attended our friends daughters wedding. The venue was stunning. The lady in charge for the day/night was incredible!!! A wonderful to stay for adults and children. Tapnell Farm has so much to do to keep everyone entertained. Poachers Lodge is great and spacious with everything you need included and a short stroll up to the farm
The kids absolutely loved this glamping unit. Added bonus had electric sockets and lights. The kitchen on site had everything you need from kettle to air fryer. Toilet and shower Block was really clean, lovely warm showers. Can’t wait to book again.
We had a lovely stay at Little Lodge. Well appointed kitchen, very comfortable bedrooms and the most gorgeous views. Only improvement would be an L shaped sofa to fit 4 people and a lamp in the living room. Otherwise was perfect.
A great set up for our family of 20, including 8 kids ranging from 4-14 years who really enjoyed our 4 nights at the Manor. Having access to the farm's park was a bonus for us, with other sights and beaches not far off by car. The grounds were peaceful and the landscaping was beautiful. There were a few snagging issues which you might expect for a property of this size, the team did respond promptly.
Needs all met for three of us. Very hot weather. Closing all doors and windows meant no ventilation at night. Opening them invited mosquitos in . Best to recommend patrons bring mosquito repellent? There is a fan . Plugin mosquito repellent was empty. Otherwise you thought of everything and provided a lovely experience for us.
The cabin was everything we could have hoped for. Fully equipped, comfortable with a rustic yet modern feel to it. The setting was beautiful and it was perfect for enjoying the warm summer evenings on the deck. Tapnell farm provided everything we needed for our group. We will definitely return.
This would be great for a 2-3 day stay. It had everything you might need including a kitchenette, bathroom, double bed, sofa bed. table with 4 chairs and all you might need to self cater. They have crammed in a lot of comfort and amenities in a small and very clean space.
The dome was a lot more spacious than I had anticipated and we loved the layout and amenities. The bed was super comfy, the bunkbeds were fab and the cot for the little one. It was all easy to navigate with the little ones and everything was just quite easy. The fans were all working and already in the dome (it was hot when we visited), but everything was prepped for the cold with wood in the fire pit and stove. We arrived that morning and were only given notice at 1pm that our accommodation was ready but we were not longer able to use any of the cooking facilities. Very much appreciate the local fire – but with supervision the pizza oven could have safely been used along with moving the BBQs to a communal area again under supervision between certain times. We were staying with a 2-year old and using the wood burning stove in the main tent (in 28 degrees) was not safe. We stayed for the weekend in one of the Piglets. Our stay was fantastic we were there for a wedding and had everything we needed in the piglet and shower room, would definately recommend

Well equiped cottage with more than enough space. We found the house in a very clean condition. Unlimited access to Tapnell Farm is very nice for the kids!
We had a lovely stay, quiet and peaceful but with the added drama of a power cut on the whole site on the first morning after we arrived. The team at Tapnell could not have been better at staying in contact, making sure all guests were kept up to date with information on when it would be back on plus organising free teas and coffees for everyone who needed it. A great holiday if you've got toddlers/younger children as the facilities to keep them entertained at Tapnell are great.
The marketing says Rustic and Luxury. It was definitely rustic but not luxury. The bedding was not luxury (as expected) but not luxury but the towels were lovely. Nowhere to store food in the kitchen area. The shower room and toilet seemed in need of updating. Overall adequate but not luxury. The site itself is fantastic for children and could not be faulted.
We love Tapnell Farm- such a good family vacation spot. Great budget accommodation and the cow restaurant is great too with activities on site.
We had an amazing stay at Camp Tapnell in the shipping containers. The showers were good, hot and clean. the toilets had hand dryers with hair dryers attached and toddler seats as part of seat which really helps with little kids. The kitchen area was well provided with toaster, air fryer and fridges and a microwave. They had provide soap in toilets and washing up liquid in kitchen. lots of drinking water taps near to containers too. we went into Tapnell farm and the kids loved it so much for the kids to do. Container is great, was so glad of the sturdy frame when it was rainy and windy all night. Was ready a bit early, found the pizza oven by safari tents and made pizza which the kids loved, farm is great and not too busy so lots of go karts, trampolines, bouncy pillow. Cafe nice but quite expensive, cappuccino £4, yummy cakes. Tesco 3 miles away in freshwater is handy for a meal deal etc. The cow was good but again quite expensive, nice atmosphere though and interesting layout, staff helpful. We had a lovely 5 days at Poachers Perch at Tapnell Farm. Everything you need for your holiday is provided, such as towels, dishwasher tablets, plates, cups, cutlery etc. There is a pretty outdoor area with a wonderful view where you can sit with a drink and bathe in the sunshine. Tapnell Farm itself is perfect for families and offers an aqua park, visits with the animals, an on-site restaurant, gift shop, club house with games, a coffee shop and sauna for the adults. We adored staying at The Snug! It was the perfect accommodation for myself, my husband and our small dog. Beautifully furnished and comfortable whilst maintaining a relaxing back-to-nature vibe. It has great facilities with a well kitted out kitchen and strong shower. Lovely walk across the fields to The Cow restaurant for dinner. Great location as a base to explore the island.
Excellent facilities (kitchen/bathrooms). We had an issue with a smelly rug which was dealt with promptly. Otherwise very clean. Only feedback is that the website/instructions makes it sound like there’s a farm shop when there isn’t. A shop would have been really useful. It talks about buying pizza from farm shop and using pizza oven but no sign of either. Otherwise it was good value and would recommend.

Second time visiting this place. Such a lovely spot and so fun for the children. Facilities excellent. Only trouble was some people arrive not expecting camp site and assume hotel facilities! Showers and toilets fantastic. Staff prompt if any concerns. Very practical accommodation layout. Suggest a pump dispenser for washing up liquid as people use too much and it's gone within a day. We stayed in one of the containers in Camp Tapnell - fantastic location. So much to do on the farm itself. The container was perfect for us - comfortable beds and great shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. We ate dinner at the Cow restaurant- delicious! Also had a go on the aqua park- great fun!
Everything you possibly need is contained within a family fun packed area. Kids ask to repeat this trip every year!
We found our container with ease, it was as described and a fun alternative to your usual camping with a tent. Facilities were great and the restaurant was absolutely fantastic, we only had a couple of things that let it down for us which were, when we sat at the back of our container the designated free space to relax and watch the eclipse we had to dodge dog poo which wasn’t pleasant. The other was our allocated spot in the fridge was missing. We loved the variety of things to do at the farm and the quality of the provision. Lots to do for those with young ones (2-10 yrs). For those kids who are slightly older, the teenagers, there is not so much to get stuck into beyond a couple of hours on site, but our daughter still enjoyed it and spent time with her younger sister. Accommodation is great, warm and we liked the novelty. The kitchen was stacked full of equipment, which made life so much easier. We only stayed one night in the IOW but we wished we’d stayed longer at Tapnell. Rabbits run was clean and compact and had everything we needed. The real star of the show are the facilities at Tapnell! We did the aqua splash twice, Foot golf and Pickleball, table tennis, pool and all the outdoor games. The food and service at The Cow was great, the burgers really were something else! The location is stunning and we will be recommending it to our friends. Thanks for a great stay!
A fabulous stay with breathtaking views! The piglet had all I needed for a fabulous few nights sleep. The separate bathroom was really spacious and very clean. Thank you for a wonderful experience
This was my first time at Tapnell Farm and I loved it. The morning views are amazing. The whole area is really well designed to allow a real sense of space everywhere. We booked into the Slomo sauna/lake/ice bath experience and it was excellent. Organisation from start to finish was clear, easy and friendly
