We had a great time in the Piglet to celebrate a family wedding at the barn. The location was ideal to avoid us driving anywhere. The barn provided us with milk, biscuits, kettle and a fridge to store food. The toilet was spacious, clean and the shower worked well. The bed has plenty of storage below for suitcases and bags. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I had an absolutely amazing solo stay in Piglet No4 & I’m looking forward to returning with my husband.
The upcycled animal arc was beautifully styled with a super comfy mattress & lovely quality bedding.
The very spacious bathroom exceeded my expectations & the fact you had a whole one to each piglet was wonderful.
Cleanliness of the sty & bathroom was superb.
Everything required was provided including firelighters, charcoal, matches & utensils for the BBQ & a pint of fresh milk in the fridge to make a cuppa on arrival.
Thank you for a lovely stay!

We stayed in 2 Piglets only for 1 night and were pleasantly surprised by the standard and experience. For 1 night I'd highly recommend, comfortable (except for the heat, a fan was provided but on a hot night we all struggled but we would of at home too) but they are cute, with comfortable beds, toaster, kettle, fridge, charcoal BBQ and near by showering facilities which were excellent.

It's further than we expected from Tapnell Farm but only 2 mins by car, which also meant they are very peaceful.

A very nice location with a tidy and cozy room. There is a the possibility to have a campfire.

The customer service team kept me informed at every stage and were very accommodating with requests.
I stayed in the piglet as part of a wedding party.
Fantastic countryside and downland views. Wonderful walks on doorstep.
The sound and sight of skylarks and swallows across the meadow just lovely.
The piglet is equipped well enough for its size. The bed very comfortable. Little attentions to detail like an emergency torch and fan (definitely needed as very warm inside) much appreciated.
Very large bathroom facilities just a few minutes away. Hot shower was very welcome.
Very good accommodation for a couple of nights/mini break. Would recommend.

Stayed in a piglet for a wedding and loved it. Creative use of space, with a comfy bed and the wherewithal for making tea in the morning. Lovely to step out of the door and see the fields all around. I was actually here in 1970 for the IOW pop festival, when the accommodation was a little more basic! Stable block has good bathrooms a few yards away. If you’re someone who needs to get up in the night a lot though, the Snug might be better for you than a piglet.

The Piglet was lovely. It was clean, cute and beautiful. The bed was comfy, lovely views, with mini fridge, toaster and kettle. Plus lots of info about local amenities, attractions and Tapnell Farm itself.
Just a few meters away was the converted shower rooms. These were lovely, clean and spacious. Perfect for guests to get ready if attending a wedding. Big mirror, hair dryer, big shower and seats.
Piglet is perfect for couples attending weddings at East Afton Farmhouse, or couples having a short break.

As said above overall it was excellent!
Everything was clean, warm and comfortable. The booking process was smooth and easy. The lady I spoke to was extremely helpful.
I have a couple of suggestions though. The lights beside the piglets it would of been great if they had been on as trying to navigate in the dark was pretty tricky.
A couple bottles of water for the kettle would be a nice touch.
The only other thing was because of the lack of light I left my bathroom light on to help me get there, however, because I did this every one ended up using our bathroom instead of their own.

I stayed here for a wedding at Afton Farm House. It was the most idlic wedding, staff were so friendly. Accommodating anywhere they could for early check ins and late check out. Will definitely return again.

We stayed overnight to attend a wedding, Chloe and the team were fantastic, accommodating us having early access to our room and helping with changing ferry times. The piglet was a fantastic getaway in a beautiful setting.

The location is lovely, quiet with a beautiful view over the fields. The Piglet is very comfortable. It is small but has all the essentials. The bathroom is separate but a good size, warm, well equipped with a good shower. I had a lovely walk with my dog in the morning across the fields.

We had a lovely time, the piglet on East Afton was special, well insulated with good facitities such as a fridge, lighting, emergency torch, comfy bed, warm duvet, great pillows, lovely linen. Wood and bricketts etc.provided for a braai if we wanted, the shower stable was a surprise that we had our own area which was spacious and well cared for, the shower had wonderful hot water out of a power shower head, the bird life around was lovely listening to and seeing, And it's a pretty central area to access local attractions.

We attended a wonderful wedding at East Afton Farm and stayed conveniently on site in a cosy “Piglet”. It was spotlessly clean, compact and warm, with a very comfy double bed, mini fridge, kettle and toaster, with crockery and cutlery supplied. A barbecue + fuel, outdoor seating and table were provided.
Each of the 4 Piglets had their own spacious washroom just a short walk away. Again the facilities were perfectly clean and well planned with a large shower, hairdryer and space for storage of clothing / luggage.
The booking process and all communication was very straightforward, informative and efficient.
The location was just perfect with access to many footpaths and just a few minutes drive from lovely Yarmouth, The Needles, Freshwater and the numerous beaches. A lovely experience, thank you.

Although the piglets are small, they are very well situated, not only for the wedding at the venue but for those staying on the Island for longer holidays. Great views, a fair amount of road noise but you get used to it. The bathroom block is rustic but you do get one bathroom to each of the piglets, no sharing, lovely large fluffy towels.There’s plenty of room in the bathroom to hang clothes and there are baskets to keep clothing in if you don’t want to live out of your suitcase/holder , these could easily be popped under the bed with your stuff in. There’s also a hairdryer in the bathroom. There’s enough crockery , including wine and champagne glasses, and cutlery, for two. Each piglet has its own picnic bench , great to be able to sit and eat outside rather than on your lap while sitting on the bed.
Overall, we had a great two night stay and would be very happy to stay again.

We loved our piglet, it was well situated for the shower room, clean and more spacious than we expected. Bed was so comfortable, it was the first time I had slept all night for a long time! Good facilities for washing up but plug was missing from sink which meant we probably used more water than we would have done with a plug. The only other things that would have helped were a few more hooks to hang clothes up, maybe next to the mirror, and a small fold up table to put stuff on when preparing breakfast. Would definitely visit again. Lovely surroundings with just the birds for company whilst sitting on the benches having our breakfast, perfect!

We used this for our wedding videographer who wasn't from the island. It mean't he could come back and shoot at midnight as he was located on site, it is brilliant value for money.

Warm all year round and he said it was the best place he has had to stay for weddings yet!

Cute, well thought out, warm and cosy newly decorated shepherds hut with extremely comfy double bed and amazing large private bathroom less than 50m away. Slightly close to the road and the catch on the door where the padlock went was a little difficult to close/open but absolutely no other criticisms at all. I was extremely lucky with the weather given it was November (although I didn't use BBQ or outdoor seating) but I can imagine if it's windy and rainy having a separate bathroom would be a bit of a pain. Located minutes from the beautiful freshwater bay and coastal path where I enjoyed wonderful hike and lunch at piano cafe and for me, just a stones throw from the wedding venue at East Afton farmhouse which was why I was in the area in the first place. Honestly would consider returning (and I'm someone who will never normally visit the same place again so that is a huge compliment!)
