Great clamping experience and lovely location. Loads to do on the farm. Good facilities. Definitely recommended.

We loved the idea and novelty of kitting out a shipping container for camping with actual beds, and the execution was good, with cute bunting and fairy lights inside and the inside really well cleaned (no spiders!). The site itself is well located plus the kids LOVED tapnell farm. We had a small issue with some mess one of the previous occupants had left behind and was dealt with very swiftly. Eggs a lovely touch too and Rave was amazing! Loos and showers really nice - could do we a quick clean a little more often and I’d say floor needs refinishing but plentiful hot water and great water pressure from the showers. However, I’d say we wouldn’t stay in the camp again as the huts are so close together to make it not very comfortable. Chatting over washing up and cleaning this view shared with other campers. They are really only about 1-2ft between each which isn’t what the pics led me to believe. Also the path runs right in front of all huts which again just means you don’t feel you have much space which, given the site, feels a bit odd. I’d also say another niggle for me vs other camp sites is the early/ late availability of the shop/ coffee/ staff. It only seemed to be from 9:30am and when the farm was open which isn’t what other camp sites tend to offer. So - great idea, farm amazing and facilities good, execution not quite right.

We stayed for 2 nights only in the converted ISO container, Rabbits Run. A lot of thought had gone into building the bunk beds and other bits and we were impressed with the attention to detail. Bean bags, bunting flags and storage cubes were all great touches. Also, the showers block and cooking pod were all in great condition and contained lots of handy stuff from hairdryers to microwaves and fridges, kettles etc so we could have a nice cup of tea! The location was beautiful and refreshing and perfectly sited right next to the Farm Park which we visited on 2 days, also eating in the cow restaurant where I had the best burger ever. All the staff were warm and friendly and well trained/ knowledgeable. Pub games in the garden and in the bit next to the cow were great. We had a brilliant time, despite a bit of wind and rain. Movie night watching Encanto was a highlight, bird displays and the lunchtime singer was excellent.
