We attended a wonderful wedding at East Afton Farm and stayed conveniently on site in a cosy “Piglet”. It was spotlessly clean, compact and warm, with a very comfy double bed, mini fridge, kettle and toaster, with crockery and cutlery supplied. A barbecue + fuel, outdoor seating and table were provided. Each of the 4 Piglets had their own spacious washroom just a short walk away. Again the facilities were perfectly clean and well planned with a large shower, hairdryer and space for storage of clothing / luggage. The booking process and all communication was very straightforward, informative and efficient. The location was just perfect with access to many footpaths and just a few minutes drive from lovely Yarmouth, The Needles, Freshwater and the numerous beaches. A lovely experience, thank you.

Although the piglets are small, they are very well situated, not only for the wedding at the venue but for those staying on the Island for longer holidays. Great views, a fair amount of road noise but you get used to it. The bathroom block is rustic but you do get one bathroom to each of the piglets, no sharing, lovely large fluffy towels.There’s plenty of room in the bathroom to hang clothes and there are baskets to keep clothing in if you don’t want to live out of your suitcase/holder , these could easily be popped under the bed with your stuff in. There’s also a hairdryer in the bathroom. There’s enough crockery , including wine and champagne glasses, and cutlery, for two. Each piglet has its own picnic bench , great to be able to sit and eat outside rather than on your lap while sitting on the bed. Overall, we had a great two night stay and would be very happy to stay again.

We loved our piglet, it was well situated for the shower room, clean and more spacious than we expected. Bed was so comfortable, it was the first time I had slept all night for a long time! Good facilities for washing up but plug was missing from sink which meant we probably used more water than we would have done with a plug. The only other things that would have helped were a few more hooks to hang clothes up, maybe next to the mirror, and a small fold up table to put stuff on when preparing breakfast. Would definitely visit again. Lovely surroundings with just the birds for company whilst sitting on the benches having our breakfast, perfect!

We used this for our wedding videographer who wasn't from the island. It mean't he could come back and shoot at midnight as he was located on site, it is brilliant value for money.
Warm all year round and he said it was the best place he has had to stay for weddings yet!

Cute, well thought out, warm and cosy newly decorated shepherds hut with extremely comfy double bed and amazing large private bathroom less than 50m away. Slightly close to the road and the catch on the door where the padlock went was a little difficult to close/open but absolutely no other criticisms at all. I was extremely lucky with the weather given it was November (although I didn't use BBQ or outdoor seating) but I can imagine if it's windy and rainy having a separate bathroom would be a bit of a pain. Located minutes from the beautiful freshwater bay and coastal path where I enjoyed wonderful hike and lunch at piano cafe and for me, just a stones throw from the wedding venue at East Afton farmhouse which was why I was in the area in the first place. Honestly would consider returning (and I'm someone who will never normally visit the same place again so that is a huge compliment!)
