Horseshoe Cottage

Ideal for a couple or small family and with many attractions & beaches nearby, you’ll be spoiled for choice!

Horseshoe Cottage is located on Arrowan Common farm, a former working dairy farm. The whole farm is being completely refurbished and Horseshoe, along with Barn cottage next door, are the first cottages to be completed with a fresh new look.

The Cottage has coast & countryside views, is in a very quiet and secluded spot but with the coastal path & local beaches nearby. There is local shopping & pubs in Coverack and St Keverne and larger stores in nearby Helston.

There is still refurbishment works being carried out on the main farmhouse and across Arrowan Common Farm, but guest areas are not affected.

The collection of cottages are set quite remotely, perfect for a quiet getaway. Lots to see and do around this area and easy enough to travel around. We had our dog with us and this is a great dog friendly location and cottage, with the open field right in front. Highly recommend!

Property was beautifully clean. I gave a 4 rating as some of the crockery had been put in the cupboard dirty. Would definitely recommend the cottage to friends.

We booked for 4 nights in May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Horseshoe Cottage. The first thing we noticed, apart from the high quality of the property, was how quiet it was. Coverack was a new area of Cornwall for us and we soon came to realise what a lovely place it is. There are many nearby coves and Kennack Sands was picturesque. Close to Helston and The Lizard and only an hour or so from Penzance and Lands End. The coastline is stunning. Would definitely stay again.

A traditional Cornish farmstead, all granite and whitewash which connects you to the countryside. Yet inside you could be in a swanky docklands apartment, with online TV`s and a skin peeling shower. A light and airy place to relax, recharge and rewind yourself. No "fake" Cornish, no seaside souvenirs, this is the real deal. Big skies, dramatic coastlines complete with secluded beaches and soaring clifftops. Inland it`s all gorse bush, Cornish heather, wind-blasted trees and ancient fields where you`d think that granite was the main crop. Day or night (you need to see the stars!) this place is a real tonic, all within reach of Helston, St.Michaels Mount, Hayle and so on.

We stayed here because we were buying a house locally. Wonderful location and so very peaceful.

Spoke to builders re damp, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Also superb sharing of knowledge and history of the area.

Excellent property, would highly recommend.

Make sure you take a trip to Lankidden Cove absolutely stunning, you need to go on low tide.
