We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable and spacious. Just a short walk to the town, seafront, harbour and pier. We will be visiting again.
Firstly, what a great location! Literally a stones throw from the beach and walking distance across the sea front to the harbour, crazy golf course and pier which has an amazing amusement arcade that didn't just keep the kids amused! Plenty of places to eat on the doorstep for all tastes whether it be a sit down meal or the classic Fish and Chips on the beach. Plenty of retail shops just up the road aswell. On one of our days we went to Paignton Zoo which was incredible and only a 10 minute drive from Sunny beach apartments which was handy! The apartments has been finished to a high standard ...more
The cottages are luxurious at a very competitive rate. Would recommend and will return again for our next trip to Devon.
Couldn’t fault mermaids view, it was easy to find, very clean and comfortable. Excellent facilities. Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Will definitely recommend and will be booking again.
All good as usual with a fantastic refurbishment.. Shame about the weather. looking forward to next year.
Beautiful apartment. Excellent facilities. Extremely clean. Newly decorated. No view of the sea from our apartment but the ones at the front of the property had an amazing view of the sea. Fantastic location in terms of having shops and bars close by. Parking on site. A great little find, very good value for money and we would definitely return!
Great stay lots of wildlife, great outside space and easy access to lots of walks. Would recommend to people who like to walk.
Beautifully decorated apartment with everything you need for a UK getaway. We stayed in the top floor to the rear of the building so no sea views but the views over Paignton and the countryside hills were lovely. Great location for all amenities. We found some lovely seafood restaurants by the harbour. The Curious Crab in particular would be recommended. The steam train to Dartmouth was fun. We didn’t allow enough time in Dartmouth so plan your visit well.
Everything was spotless. room has been done to a high standard. easy parking right outside room. wifi deserves a mention couldn’t fault watching netflix
It was a very easy cottage to keep tidy and clean. The outside area very well maintained and pretty.I loved the decor. We did drive passed the entrance a couple of times. So feel the entrance could have been clearer.I understand why there was no information left on how to use the infored hob and the symbols on the oven as it would have been useful. Also I could have done with another saucepan as I did cook in some days
It was excellent accommodation. One thing that may be of help is being perhaps a bit picky, small shelf in bathroom for the usual potions and lotions we tend to travel with these days. Other than that, all was perfect.
Everything was very clean and comfortable. The only thing letting it down was the very poor quality of the quilt and in particular the pillows.
A traditional Cornish farmstead, all granite and whitewash which connects you to the countryside. Yet inside you could be in a swanky docklands apartment, with online TV`s and a skin peeling shower. A light and airy place to relax, recharge and rewind yourself. No "fake" Cornish, no seaside souvenirs, this is the real deal. Big skies, dramatic coastlines complete with secluded beaches and soaring clifftops. Inland it`s all gorse bush, Cornish heather, wind-blasted trees and ancient fields where you`d think that granite was the main crop. Day or night (you need to see the stars!) this place is ...more
Great stay at sunnybeach, beautiful views to wake up to. Apartment was lovely & Modern couldn’t fault it, everything was there that was needed including antibacterial spray, alcohol gel. Location was fantastic 5 minute walk to shops, bars & cafes. Bus/train station in walking distance so did not use our car. Would definitely stay here again.
One bedroom apartment very close to the beach and pier. It has all the facilities for a short stay including all the kitchen appliances. Most of the stuff we used seemed very new and neat. It also have parking space that for location it is almost essential as it is very restricted in the area. One of the things that surprised me is that you see no staff at all, everything is done through text messages and emails, That might be due to the Coronavirus restrictions still in place when we traveled there. In any case it is perfectly suitable for small families wanting to enjoy the seaside for a fe...more
We had a great week at The Old Mill. There was loads of space for 2 families of 5 with grown up children and everything was super comfy and quiet. More cutlery, glasses, serving dishes & spoons would have been beneficial but we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you.
Although we had to cancel twice it was worth the wait, lovely place to just switch off for a few days
Decor excellent no hangers in wardrobe no instructions regarding cooker and microwave no washing up bowl no tea pot No personal service .
