I have stayed in mermaids view a number of times and it’s fantastic as everything you want in a fantastic place. I would always keep coming back. The view was fantastic in the best place to get everywhere.
We had the most incredible stay at Tina’s apartment. From the outside we were actually a bit anxious as some of the other apartment / hotels are run down but the minute you step foot through the door you can see how much time effort and care has been put into your stay. We stayed in the beautiful anchors away apartment and we were devastated to leave. Tina helped us with the booking discount code as well and applied it even though we forgot to. Had a lovely time away in this comfortable cottage. Super clean, had everything you needed, would highly recommend. Lovely decor. Location was great as close to many places we visited.
This is the second time we've stayed in Jasmine Cottage. It's the perfect size for a family of three and has everything you need to feel at home. It's decorated to a high standard and the animal theme in each room is a fun touch. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom, which is a bonus. The cottages are set in a very peaceful location in Marldon, which is only a short drive from bustling Paignton. There's so much to do in the local area and something for everyone. We had a lovely time.
We only had one night at Rose Cottage however we wished we could have stayed longer. Beautifully furnished and more spacious than we imagined. Great to have 2 bathrooms too - real bonus. Kitchen and lounge areas were perfect. Beds were also really comfortable and we were amazed how quiet it was considering it was attached to other properties. All in all a real gem of a cottage in a really pretty village.
Really loved the cottage, it was ideal for our family, a great lounge and big garden with BBQ and firepit. Location is fantastic and we loved the peace and quiet and the fact we could venture out to great beaches and harbour villages within 5-10 minutes drive.
Great location. Lovely views. Free parking. Comfortable accommodation. Clear details. Great for walking. Great for buses. Great for trains.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed and we have loved it every time. The location is perfect, a short walk to the beach, shops, amusement and restaurants. The salty dog apartment was clean and we felt very much at home. Hosts communicated well and we had the code to get in with plenty of time before our arrival. We will be back for sure.
The only reason for the lower condition rating is the visible mould around the master bedroom window which needs remediation. The new wooden wardrobe in that room is currently unusable due to a strong musty smell. Aside from this, the barn is beautifully presented with many thoughtful details. The automated wooden gates provide access to private and ample parking, and the property is surrounded by open fields. Just outside the cottage there is a wooden table positioned to take in the impressive views, creating an idyllic setting to wake up to with rolling hills, sheep and horses in sight. ...more
A comfy and well kitted out cottage and a great base to explore the Lizard! Loved the proximity to Coverack and Kennack Sands.
Marldon village is a lovely quiet area which is easily accessible to Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Daisy cottage was very comfortable, clean and well equipped.
The accommodation was outstanding And worked very well for our party Great location , so professional to deal with
We had enjoyable stay in Paignton and the apartment was well situated for our break, there was only one problem and that was the size of the hand basin in the bathroom. There was outside noise problems beyond anyones control boy racers reving their cars late into the night and the workmen setting up the site opposite starting work at 6-30 am
The location and size of this apartment was perfect for us. It was decorated nicely, neat and tidy. For working remotely for a week it was good but if I was staying for longer, I would have preferred to have better working conditions. I worked using the kitchen table as my work desk which then couldn't be used for dining. Also the cooking possibilities were limited as the kitchen is small and therefore can't have too many bowls or utensils (for example there is no whisk or chopping boards). But if you are on a holiday and mostly eat out, then it's all good.
A good comfortable base for exploring. The only downside was that the parking spaces are a bit difficult to get in and out of.
Lovely apartment. Really well laid out. Everything that you need is there and always so clean. Stayed before and will definitely stay again.
Loved our stay here, loved the accommodation, minor quibbles with a lot of crockery chipped, a couple of broken mugs and the microwave broke down half way through the week. Shower was leaking a bit as well, but overall though it was well kitted out and very comfy.
Loved this little studio apartment, Everything was just lovely. Everything needed in kitchen, clean, comfortable, nice looking, great location opposite the sea, good price, easy to check in. Would definitely stay again .
Do not stay here if you're a little on the large size (over size 18?) or shorter than 6ft tall. The kitchen cupboards are so high we could not reach china etc on the top shelf and yes I am a little on the large size (size 24) and to get to the loo the passage way is so narrow that I had to walk sideways like a crab! otherwise the apartment is fine, decor and fittings are really lovely and the use of space has been well designed. We were very glad that the windows opened really wide as the weather was so hot and humid that they were open all the time we were in the apartment. All in all we had...more
We really liked the cottage and the site, nice and quiet and so close to great places to visit. A shame there's no clothes washer/ drier as it's much needed after days out on the beach!
Arrived on the Monday afternoon for 3 nights, room was spotless (as the different rooms in this building we have stayed in always are). Comfy bed / pillows / towels all supplied. Was concerned at first seeing the construction compound across the road thinking maybe a new apartment block was being constructed but turns out it’s only a temporary works compound while the sea front is being upgraded. As we stayed in Little Lobster on the first floor it did not obstruct the sea views and there was absolutely no disturbance from the works.
