Absolutely lovely little cottage, well furnished and in a great location. Will definitely be coming back.
We enjoyed our stay at Briar cottage, very cosy in a lovely village. Parking was manageable. Everything great apart from the garden. It was completely uncared for and overgrown, nothing like the photo. Sadly we did not use the chairs and table.
There was mould in two of the bedrooms the main one had mould round the window the twin smelt and felt damp.
This converted barn is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. We had a very enjoyable five nights there and would visit again.We did have a problem because the dishwasher broke down on the first day there and couldn't be fixed until after we left, however Welly Boots were very apologetic and an engineer came to look at it on the day they were informed there was a problem and really there was nothing else they could have done as a heating element had to be ordered. Two bottles of Prosecco as a 'sorry' were much appreciated. We felt that the garden and garage area needs some attentio...more
