A romantic Cotswold barn conversion beside the babbling Blockley Brook. Otters Abode has a dramatic 17ft vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and stone, and a freestanding roll-top slipper bath in the master bedroom, ideal for a couples' retreat. A spiral staircase leads to a twin mezzanine for friends. You can walk to the village café, shop and pubs, with Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh and Broadway only a short drive away. Free parking and fast WiFi are included.

We spent 9 nights in Otter’s Abode while on a walking and painting holiday, and found it to be the perfect cottage for our needs. Its location, close to the trail heads, the shop and the pubs, couldn’t have been better. The cottage was well appointed and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and furnishings. It was also very quiet and we enjoyed the secluded patio with its lovely plantings and many birds after our long walks.

Otters Abode is perfectly situated close to Blockley centre. Easily walkable to the village centre. Great walks around the pretty village, excellent shop and cafe too.
Parking is good at the cottage, so many lovely places , towns, gardens and walks accessed within half an hour drive.
The cottage is well equipped with a good supply of kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare meals.
Very comfortable beds and bedding.
Highly recommended.

We stayed at Otters Abode Cottage in May for five days.
The accommodation was really cosy and nice.
The cottage was warm and clean; we appreciated the beautiful garden with the small stream running through it.
The place was quiet and immersed in nature.
The location is very convenient for travelling around the Cotswolds and not too far from Oxford.
Nick and Fiona were really kind and promptly attentive to our requests.
Highly recommended for a short stay in the Cotswolds!

Loved this little character cottage , with everything you could possibly need .
Extremely clean and well presented.
The only thing we think should be mentioned on the advert for this super place is - there is a steep incline to the start of the driveway so any low cars ie sports cars could scrape the front of your car and maybe causing a lot of damage .
But we would certainly recommend a stay.

Just a little suggestion - next time a plug socket needs changing consider replacing it with one that also has a USB charging socket.
