The chocolate box frontage of this stunning cottage leads into a fresh and contemporary interior reflecting coast and country. Natural light bathes the living space with floor-to-ceiling window walls on two sides, with views of the garden and the trees beyond. Four generous bedrooms (three en suite) make for a refreshing sleep. The tended garden’s lawns are zoned with wildlife havens: with meadow flowers, a pond, and a stream. The large patio has plenty of seating for relaxing and dining.

Lovely, roomy cottage with beautiful garden. Very clean and comfortable overall, and plenty of space for everyone to relax in. We were a party of 2 families, 4 adults, 4 children and a dog. The weather wasn't great for most of the holiday so unfortunately, we didn't get to make use of the outdoor seating area, but we did use the barbecue and there's more than enough space in the kitchen for cooking for 8. I only marked a 4 for comfort instead of 5 because most of the the beds were a bit soft for everyone, but that's just personal preference.
The friendly owners live next door and were on hand if we needed them. Dittisham is lovely and beautiful Dartmouth and Totnes are nearby so it's a great place to be based. Would definitely go back there again!

Lovely property for a family break with a warm welcome from Bob & Georgia.
Pretty much all that we needed was at hand and the garden provided a wonderful place to relax

A great house with lots of communal living space . The house is modern but still cosy with an open plan kitchen living room with huge sliding windows that open on to a terrace with an eating area, seating and a barbecue. The garden is large and informal garden with a natural pond and stream - so children and perhaps inebriated adults need supervision! There is a sitting room with a wood burner and a large basket of logs provided but the open plan living area is hard to beat, especially during the spring and summer. The bed rooms are very comfortable and there are plenty of bath/shower rooms. The hosts are nearby if you need them and are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of beautiful walks for humans and dogs and nearby hostelries for refreshments.

Had the most amazing mini break in this wonderful home which is in a stunning location. Fabulous space for a family get together, cannot recommend highly enough. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Can't wait to book a return visit.

Our family (comprising of three almost grown up children 16 - 21 yrs) couldn't fault this property. We loved our stay. It was perfect for our spaniel with lots of private lawn, creek and pond to run about in, the house was spacious and extremely well thought out in terms of design and feel. Great for cooking and using the BBQ, also for relaxing and hanging out. It was the perfect base to explore the beautiful surrounding area with great walks and trips. We can't recommend this property enough - our only hesitation is that if we do it'll get too popular! Big thank you to our hosts Bob and Georgia who were extremely attentive and helpful!

Our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. The house provided perfect accommodation for our large group with a wonderful social kitchen / dining area. Gardens are beautiful and the cottage is a pleasant walk to the village of Dittisham.
