Kittiwake boasts outstanding views over the river from all rooms, especially the newly converted Sky Room with its fantastic, decked terrace. Kittiwake is finished to the highest standard and is perfect for a romantic waterside stay, or a family holiday to explore the picturesque ancient town of Dartmouth, which is just a short walk away. Although, with these views, you may want to stay to soak up the views from the terrace or French windows. A parking permit is supplied for the nearby car park.

Superb property in fantastic position.

Outstanding views , well equipped house , situated up a very narrow steep hill you need to be fit, we had a very good stay, a downstairs cloakroom would be a good addition

The property rated a 2 for cleanliness as the kitchen was very poor. The sheets in one of the bedrooms were grubby.
The rest of the property was clean.

This is a fabulous property, with stunning views from all the rooms and a wonderful terrace. It is very attractively furnished throughout. The location is excellent, near to all the restaurants and amenities.

This is the best equipped holiday home we’ve ever stayed in with very comfortable beds and every need anticipated ( eg warm blankets for cooler evenings on the terrace, wine fridge, good utility room). The cottage is well decorated in modern coastal style with good quality furniture and fittings and all mod cons. It was even more spacious than we expected. Above all it’s the breath taking views from the generous sized terrace and garden and also from every bedroom that make this property a wonderful holiday home. You can see down the Dart estuary from one side all the way out to sea on the other and could easily spend your whole break simply watching the activity on the water. Within easy reach of great walks and swimming in Sugary Cove but also near the facilities of the centre of Dartmouth and 10 minutes from the car park. Highly recommended.

This was out third visit to Kittiwake which is a fantastic, beautifully furnished property with stunning views. It is also very conveniently located for the restaurants and shops.

Having stayed here before, we knew what to expect. On the way up to the cottage in the car, we prayed we would not meet another car on the steep and narrow road. Once unloaded, it was difficult to find a parking space in Dartmouth. We were lucky as someone was just leaving as we entered the town's one and only car park. Failing that, it would have been a short drive out of town to the park and ride car park. With so much to do in and around Dartmouth (walks, boat trips and the steam train) we never used the car once we'd arrived.
The cottage has wonderful views and we spent several afternoons sitting in the well appointed garden just watching the world go by. Apart from one or two things (e.g. the tv in the kitchen no longer works and the bulb needed replacing in the walk in cupboard in the smaller bedroom) the cottage was well prepared and very comfortable. We'll be back!

This is our third stay at Kittiwake and we had a really good week. The house is really well thought out and very well presented, even in these trouble times with COVID. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the living room has a everything you need including a lovely view over the Dart river. The kitchen is a lovely space with everything you need (and more I suspect). The garden is the main place assuming the British weather permits. Breakfast out there is a joy as well as spending a late afternoon looking out relaxing with a nice glass of red. The only thing that could complete this house would be a toilet on the ground floor, going up two floors after a few glasses can be a task.
