Great location for exploring Cornwall, peaceful and accommodation well cleaned and looked after. The wheelchair accessibility Is excellent - plenty of turning spaces, level access throughout, wheelchair height cooker hob and sink areas included. And dog friendly! Honestly, the first totally stress free stay anywhere with plaraplegia AND a dog to cope with! Thank you.
This is our fourth or fifth stay at one of the cottages here, and there’s a reason we keep coming back year after year. The Forge was perfect for our summer break: peaceful, private and in a lovely quiet location, while still being a great base for exploring Cornwall. Another great stay despite the few days of rain. Already booked again for 2027. Within easy reach of Newquay and perranporth, 2 of the places we love to visit. Clean and well stocked. Everything you could possibly need with the advantage of a very warm hot tub which is lovely for relaxing your aching muscles after a full day out. X
2nd time staying and my son whonis the disabled person in the group has already asked if they can come back next summer
Nice cottage but just too hot, needs better heat reflecting/insulating blinds to help keep heat down. Fan not enough.
