Sleeping up to 4 people (one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two twin beds), this delightful 4* converted self-catering holiday cottage is situated in the hamlet of Penhallow on the coast road between Newquay and Truro and therefore makes it an ideal location for exploring Cornwall.

The lanes nearby are suitable for walking your dog or having a leisurely stroll.

This was our 2nd time staying at the cute little Wishing Well Cottage, our first stay being in May 2020. Its a super little cottage that has everything you need as a base for exploring the beautiful Duchy. It has off street parking for 2 cars. The accommodation sleeps 4, was clean, tidy and we were delighted to be gifted some lovely home made jam to go with the complimentary scones & clotted cream. The enclosed garden is a must if you have a dog as there are limited dog walks locally otherwise you have to walk down the country lanes. I wish I had read the welcome pack sooner because there is a secret little dog friendly woodland walk as part of the Harrods development that we could use that included a small woodland, an orchard and a small lawned area, we only found this out on our last day !.
We had superb communication with Harrods prior to our arrival, they are very customer focused and provide clear instructions for your arrival.
We had a great time and will certainly consider booking with Harrods again for next year, thank you Harrods.

Absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Wishing Well. As soon as we pulled up outside we loved the look of the beautiful cottage and its well maintained grounds with the most incredible collection of hydrangeas! We walked in to a lovely welcome gift of scones with clotted cream, jam and a bottle of Presley pressed apple juice which was a great touch after a 9 hour drive down. The cottage was spotless and very spacious enough for us (family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters) and well equipped with everything home from home - ironing board & iron, clothes airer etc, plus a great selection of well thought out kitchen items even Tupperware boxes which we borrowed for our packed lunches.
The cottage is perfectly located, tucked away from the main road so in a quiet secluded location but also within easy reach of the nearest town and beach. The only downside was that there are no pedestrian paths so you can’t go for a wander around as it’s not safe to walk on the 40-60mph roads, but within a 5 minute drive you can be at the most stunning beach or a 10 minute drive would take you to the nearest town centre with all the shops you could need.
The owners are extremely helpful should you need anything and can be contacted during your stay, but otherwise we were left to enjoy our holiday.
We would definitely come back we had the most perfect week and the weather was on our side too which made it even better :)

A short break at Wishing Well Cottage which we thoroughly enjoyed. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. Double duvets on the single beds especially appreciated! Lovely big and secure garden for our springer spaniel. Well located for all North Cornwall and competitively priced.

We had a lovely week in the cottage, close to everything we wanted to do. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen is bigger than mine
Beautiful garden plenty of shade for the dog.
We would definitely book again if we come to Cornwall again.

This is a lovely cottage, smartly furnished, well equipped and very comfortable. It makes excellent dog-friendly accommodation, having a good sized and very secure garden. We received a warm welcome from very friendly hosts, and can heartily recommend Wishing Well Cottage and Harrods Cornish Cottages for your holiday!

Have just had a lovely weeks holiday at Wishing Well Cottage and found it a lovely home away from home. Great location and well equipped. Only downside was no dishwasher and could have done with an outside light at the back door for when we needed to let the dog out late at night!

We had such agreat holiday. We were welcome with a lovely clean cottage. Thanks for the cider and cream tea.Lovely view looking on the farm. Great location. We would of rather had a 3 sofa setter than a 2 sofa seater. But over all would not hesitate to book it again or recommend wishing well. Thank you.

I can only praise and thank Rebecca and her family for everything. We booked five cottages and found them all to be excellent. My disabled daughter stayed in the coach house with a carer and Rebecca purchased a special hospital style bed and a gantry hoist for the hot tub; what an amazing service! My wife and I stayed next door in the Stables, also very well equipped and adapted; both have amazing wet rooms. The rest of the care team stayed in the Forge and Wishing Well and my teenage son stayed in the Hideaway; they were all very happy. All the cottages are built, equipped and adapted to a very high standard. Wishing Well is just down the lane from the main site. The cottages on the main site are all tucked away in a secluded setting surrounded by open countryside within lovely gardens - gorgeous. The location is wonderful with close and easy access to the towns and beaches near the sea - perfect. Fantastic service and response from Rebecca and her family if you need anything both at the time of booking and when you are there. We will be back!
