We had a fabulous holiday in this homely and well equipped apartment. The location is amazing - perfect for walkers - the walk to the headland Morte Point boasts stunning views - there is the Barricane and Coombesgate beaches nearby, and you are just a short distance from the main surfing beach at Woolacombe. Mortehoe village has lots of places to eat, including two pubs, (one just opposite the apartment), a tea room, and a little village shop. From the moment you walk into High Tides you will realise that you have made a superb choice. Tasteful decor. White sheets and comfy beds. Excellent views over Combesgate Beach from the open living accommodation. All these features make this holiday flat the perfect staycation. We will be back. Thank you
Lovely property in good location with fabulous views. Good quality furnishings. A little tricky with a young toddler as the approach to the property is very steep!
Apartment has a superb location overlooking Woolacombe beach. Great outside space. The apartment lacks a few personal touches & a microwave. Overall a great holiday and Holiday Home Hunters were good to deal with.

Stayed here with my mum for the week. We had such a lovely time at this very comfortable and homely apartment. Plenty of space for us and kitted out with everything you could need. The balcony is fab to sit out on with a glass surround so you can still see the view. Loved the bay window and spent a lot of time sitting on the comfy chairs positioned in it. Would stay here again.

This house was described as 'insane' by our teenagers - which is probably as good as it gets in the world of teenage compliments. The words fabulous and luxurious come to mind and the location is unbeatable. Within minutes from the from door we were in the surf and a only short sprint to the hot tub with a beer or prosecco at the end of the day. The town is equally close and the car stayed parked all week other than for a rib ride trip in Ilfracombe. Just returned from a lovely stay at The Beach House, Woolacombe, this was a second visit to a great house in a stunning location. Once again it didn't fail to impress us very clean and modern with everything provided. We've already booked a return visit.
This apartment is lovely. We have stayed here before to relax in comfort and enjoy the views, the location and the local beaches. Coombesgate is our favourite just across the road and down the steps Ah yes, steps Walking from the town or Mortehoe means uphill and then steps back up to No 7 But worth the effort and a glass of wine on the terrace is a worthwhile reward Great location for exploring, swimming, surfing, hiking as well as great places to eat locally and in the surrounding area Our favourites are the Beach House in Woolacombe, The Manor House in Croyde and The Rock at Georgeham
Lovely location overlooking the sea , with easy reach of Woolacombe village/beach and Mortehoe village.
Brilliant apartment with everything you need and very clean. Easy parking provided. Comfy bed. Fab views over the beach. The Red Barn unfortunately, was closed for refurbishment until Easter 2025. Beachcomber cafe and carpark adjacent closed for 18months for major building works. Nice meal and welcoming in Captain Jacks pub as per usual. Great walks on south west coastal path to Lee and Ilfracombe. Sunsets to die for so take your camera. We have been to this apartment many times and it never disappoints. A home from home. Good bus service to Ilfracombe No. 31 and Barnstaple No 303.
Lovely time staying here again. Property is very clean and has a new kitchen this year which is lovely. Good communication with the agent and owners when I had a slight issue. Great to stay there and loved our time in the apartment.
Very nice house, but really a shame that the upstairs toilet didnt flush. Kitchen was a little bit worn down, pots and pans not really tidy, new baking trays are needed. Besides everything was fine.

We have been holidaying in Overcombe for more years than I care to remember! The view over Woolacombe Bay is superb and Overcombe is very well equipped and cosy. It is well placed to walk down to the village or, if you are feeling more energetic, up to Mortehoe and round Morte Point. There is a bus stop on the Woolacombe-Iflracombe route just down the way.
Just returned from a great week in a surprisingly sunny Woolacombe. Rosalie is well equipped and very comfortable. Very convenient location, close to the village and beach. The only thing I would draw attention to is that Rosalie is down a fairly steep set of steps. We are very mobile but had to take care on the steps so perhaps not ideal for small children or people with mobility issues.
Lovely, warm penthouse apartment with terrific views out of all windows. Just perfect for a short break whether to hop across the road and onto the beach for a walk or to pop into the village to the pub (The Jube) or the shops or stride up the hill to Mortehoe. Comfy and functional, with excellent facilities. Would suit a couple or small family, as two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The recliner chair with a view out to Lundy or the waves crashing against the rocks….a perfect place to unwind.
Lovely comfortable apartment with stunning views over Combesgate bay. It is in an excellent position and only 10minutes walk from the centre of Woolacombe with its many eating and drinking places and shops .
When you stay at The View, you are basically paying for the location and view. It is within very short walking distance of the beach and from the large patio doors, you can look at the beach 24/7. You have on site parking which when Woolacombe is busy is a great advantage. You are a very short walk from the local shops and more importantly the restaurants which there are a wide variety of. This is now our second year at the apartment and we have already booked for next year (2025). Would definitely recommend this 3 bedroom apartment with one of the best locations in Woolacombe. The views from the master bedroom are simply stunning, but the best feature is the very roomy terrace overlooking Woolacombe main beach and Barricane! Our family loved it and would happily return in the future.
The living space is too small, I.e. a fold out dining table doesn’t work for a family. The property as a whole is in need of some maintenance. The downstairs shower floods into the hallway (due to a poorly fitted shower screen). The balcony door lets in rain water. It’s just a bit tired. Location is excellent.
We have stayed in about a dozen different holiday rentals in Woolacombe and this was arguably the best of the lot - hard to believe there is a better balcony view in North Devon :-)
We really enjoyed staying in Ivycott. It was in a lovely location too. Plenty of room for us all. A lovely house with everything we needed. Like a home from home. We would definitely go back and would love to take the dogs.
This apartment is in great location with own parking space. Within easy walking distance to beach and shops,although hill on way back up is quite steep. Views are great overlooking the bay . Beds and sofas are comfortable . Plenty of room in hallway to leave coats and shoes .
We enjoyed our first visit to the Old Bakery Cottage very much. It is well equipped and so comfortable. Particularly we liked the recycle system with coloured baskets. The area around is perfect for walking and we found some good places to eat. We want to stay again! Thank you , Mary and Michael
Had a late holiday in Wooandacombe and booked in at Cliffside garden flat. Absolutely lovely place in a wonderful position every conceivable item that you would need for a holiday was available inside the property and on the patio such as sun loungers barbecue and the view impressive as was the flat. This is our third stay at 8 Little Beach and gives an indication of how much we have enjoyed our stay. Hunter Holidays are excellent with communication, information and response. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and equipped well. It is on three levels internally, though only a few stairs between each level but may be a bit of a problem for some people. There is rather a sharp hill to the apartment and again may be a problem for some people. Second time at 1 Belmont the decking has been changed that is so good it's lovely , the view well breathtaking especially if like me you can't get onto the beach. It's a very airy place well lit... There were some issues which hopefully will be addressed regarding cleaning, the washer and bedding ... If you have bad backs or suffer chronic pain etc then take a mattress topper as the main bed is rock hard and not comfy...Holiday home hunter are outstanding in their time patience and kindness and understanding Thank you... I wil book again as the few issues don't out weigh the flat position spa...more
There is no doubt this properties location is perfect for the beautiful sea view and perfect to cross the road & be on the beach! We had a lovely time the property is lovely, a few minor things like a 6 seater outside table for a 8 person property was annoying and the glass dining area was very hot!! Weather was 21/22 when we went but if it was any hotter it would be unbearable to eat there- maybe some kind of A/C to allow all year use.
Lovely size and layout of apartment, perfectly suited to a young family, and great for us taking our dog. General cleanliness could be improved - in particular had to scrub out and anti-bac the microwave before we could use it, clean the outside of the kettle, scrub the toilets and remove all the fluff / bits from cutlery tray. We also contacted the housekeeper and requested summer weight bedding for all of us before we arrived but this was not facilitated and none us slept well which spoilt our holiday. This is our second time staying at this apartment and it was as good as the first time (in fact we have booked again for next year). Great location, very comfortable and well equipped plus the views are just stunning. Only criticism is that the allotted car space is very tight and the visitor spaces tend to be taken as they are easier spaces to park cars. Still looking forward to next year. Thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Honeysuckle Cottage. It is in a great location near to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. It is a home from home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also so lovely to wake to to hear lambs bleating in the morning. Would highly recommend this spacious getaway.
In a great location, comments from booking do state that the accommodation is on the tired side but would still expect certain standards to be met, the beds and bedding need replacing; we suffered with the mattresses and left the day before our last night. Gorgeous view but we had to clean the windows to see it. Also, owner is expecting builders imminently which we were told about a week before our holiday so no other option but to continue with our stay, lots of tooing and froing with emails, they turned up 8am on our first morning but then thankfully didn't return. Lower Deck has amazing views. Perfect for people watching . The apartment is well equipped, clean and spacious. Everything you needed. The outside shower was a bonus! Being able to wash everything down after being on the beach was just great. Plus the washing line, another handy thing when needing to dry wetsuits etc. Close to Combesgate beach, little bit further to Woolacombe beach. It was so nice to have the outdoor area, to be able to sit watching the world go by was perfect.
