My Family and I used to stay at Parade house many years ago before this new refurbishment. The modernisation of the accommodation is amazing. We chose the View to stay at, with the excellent glass frontage view of the beach and the very handy safe fenced in garden we could let our two dogs safely run around in while we sat in the hot tub. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully designed, very clean and comfortable. It's location is one of the best in Woolacombe for being very close to the town but still with the almost unobstructed view of the beach. Customer service was excellent...more
Our third stay in this apartment and probably not our last. Perfect for our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers). They found the beds so comfortable! The apartment is perfectly located for trips to the beach - so close we don’t even wear shoes - just grab our boards and go! And only a minute from town aswell. A warm welcome as always from Roger & Sharon who are perfect hosts x
The flat is clean and spacious, modern with amazing views. Ideal for two couples or a family of four at a fraction of the price you would pay for decent hotel accommodation. It’s less than a five minute walk into Woolacombe with really good restaurants , cafes, bars and a supermarket. There are lots of amazing country and coastal walks in the area. Highly recommended
This was our third stay in Imperial 1. Check in was slightly later than usual due to the enhanced cleaning under the new Covid-19 rules and when we did get in, the apartment was as sparkingly clean as it always has been. It's had a lick of paint during lockdown and felt fresh and light and airy. Even on the swelteringly hot and humid days the apartment stays lovely and cool. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds and sofas are very comfortable. The short walk to the beach makes it perfect for families and having somewhere to store body boards etc downstairs is great. The owners, Roger ...more
This is a nice property in a lovely location. There is plenty of room in this property and it has all the basics that you need for a self catering holiday. The location is beautiful.
No complaints at all really, obviously a bit inconvenient to have to supply our own linen, but if that’s the worst thing we have to endure in this pandemic, it’s fine !!!
Fantastic views from both living room and master bedroom. Flat is very clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Already booked for next year.
The location here is excellent with parking and everything you need within walking distance. The property is comfortable and well furnished, on the whole - sitting on the balcony greatly improved by new chairs that arrived during our stay. Spacious for a 2 bed apartment. A couple of points to note - if, like us, you are intending to self-cater rather than eat out, it is lacking in some equipment (I.e. only one baking tray). Also, if you need a good WiFi connection for work, for example, it appears that the box that provides the Internet is in the property downstairs and really only works w...more
This property was not like the usual holiday flat with minimum facililities. Everything that might be needed was there.
breathtaking views, a fabulous holiday escape. great location, close walk although steep at times to the beach and villages
A Stunning location, fantastic views! Ample parking space if you have more than one car in your party. Very clean and comfortable.
We spent a week at Breakers with our daughter, her husband and 2 grandchildren aged 5&7. Excellent position opposite a small cove ( sand and rock pools) and within easy walking distance (flat) of the main Woolacombe beach. Property was clean, tidy, well maintained and well equipped. Property has lovely views over the coast from several windows and especially from the terrace. The agents were very helpful in this time of lockdown.
We were so lucky to find Cliff Cottage due to a cancellation. There were six of us and the house was really comfortable - the garden was a great size for football and cricket! The views of the sea are amazing - we were unlucky enough to arrive for the tail end of Storm Ellen followed by Storm Francis but the house was lovely and warm and we could watch the waves from the comfort of inside! The outdoor showers were great after bodyboarding and there was always plentiful hot water for six consecutive showers. We would highly recommend this and will be back - the only thing we would change is...more
We stayed here in August and were surprised by the amount of space there was. And best of all, loads of outside space with a two-level terrace overlooking the sea. The location, on the Promanade, is superb. Would highly recommend.
The house is perfect location for walking Woolacombe or Coastal Walk. Spacious and has everything you need. 2 large bedrooms and a twin room. Ideal for 6. You have everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
I enjoyed looking at the view of the bay, people walking by look up and think "I wish we where staying there" . The house was very comfortable, it had everything required for a short stay.
We had a gorgeous stay here. The cottage is beautiful and the location is stunning. Everything you need is inside, the cottage is so well maintained and there were some lovely little welcome touches when we first arrived. We would and hopefully will, definitely stay again.
Rosalie is a two bedroom apartment at the rear of Parade House. Although there are no sea views from inside the property, there is a small terrace (perfect for al fresco breakfast!) with a glimpse of the beach and a lovely terrace and garden space looking along the length of the beach and out to sea. The apartment is nicely presented and comes with two reserved, off-street parking spaces - a must-have for Woolacombe. It is fully equipped and ready to give guests a lovely holiday -if the weather obliges!
A beautiful, comfortable apartment with the most amazing view over combesgate beach. It had everything We needed and was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to stay again next year!
excellent accommodation, very well equipped, with terrific views. Highly recommended, only 10 to 15 minute walk to Woolacombe.
Excellent location. Close to beaches and town centre. Easy to walk dog for those calls of nature. Been many times to Woolacombe and would happily stay again at 2 Belmont Court.
Beautiful large apartment with stunning views and everything you could need for a comfortable holiday -would definitely book again.
We've stayed here before and will do again as it's always enjoyable whatever the weather. Excellent location an easy walk to the beach so great for surfing without having to change on the beach. Gill and Rob are excellent hosts and can't do enough for you.
Excellent location for easy access to Woolacombe and Morthoe, if you can handle the hill. With stunning views from both balconies, this a spacious ,well set out apartment, but mind your head in the bedroom !
We all thoroughly enjoyed our week, we are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Great location, loved the balcony and view and all the comforts the apartment had to offer. Apartment furnished to a high standard and very clean.
In spite of all the Covid difficulties our stay at Overcombe was a joy. Everything had been efficiently organised and we couldn’t have had a more comfortable and pleasant week. Thank you.
We enjoyed our stay here with our grandchildren. The accommodation was clean ,bright and comfortable. Just right for our beach family holiday. The owners were friendly and helpful.
The property at parade house is absolutely stunning, wonderful , breathtaking views of the Woolacombe beach and fantastic surroundings. The property is decorated very well and is very comfortable. The hot tub an added bonus. We would recommend they look at putting in an outside shower. More serving platters, side plates, cutlery would be welcomed as would materials to clean the bbq, rather than a £20 fine if not done adequately (it would have been helpful if the housekeeper had checked the bbq gas supply as we were unable to cook on it initially, thankfully the owner came by the next day)! Oceanview really does have an ocean view! Woolacombe's great big beach is 60 seconds walk away. The accommodation is comfortable. The showers, heating, kitchen appliances all work well. Worth noting that Oceanview is in an apartment complex that asks you not to bring your beach stuff into the apartment, so you have to figure out how to find and access the right outdoor storage hut. Otherwise, everything is straightforward.
As the title says - Shellsborough Penthouse is a nice little apartment in the eaves of the building (lots of beams to dodge in the bedrooms!). It is situated on the Esplanade so extremely close to all three beaches and has good views along the main beach and towards Barricane beach from various windows and the small balcony. The kitchen is small and a little basic (no large fridge/freezer and rather old microwave) but with plenty of utensils and storage space, The living area is OK, again dodging the beams, but the sea view does compensate! There is a small balcony with a mini folding bist...more
The apartment is ideal for couples looking for a relaxing holiday. Clean, spacious, perfect location! Would definitely return to the apartment, 5 minutes walk from the beach.
We stayed in Port of Call for a week in August. Having stayed in and around this area, this apartment has to be one of the best accommodations that we've stayed in. The apartment is extremely spacious and has everything you could ever need. The location is great, a couple of minutes walk into Mortehoe. We really enjoyed our stay here and will return!
We love staying at Holiday Home Hunter properties. They are always in the best locations and descriptions are always accurate. This property is ideal for a family of 4 but we managed to fit our full family of 6 in with the use of the sofabed. If you use it be sure to bring extra bedding as the mattress is thin as you’d expect. Kitchen has everything you’d need and the bathrooms are perfect for the accommodation size. We will book again - Thks Natasha, our housekeeper, for a great service
We loved the items left for us to enjoy but we had to wash all the cutlery and glasses and all the PAT TESTS were out of date and there was an iron with a failed sticker on it.
Our second time staying at pandora court , still as good as the first . A very clean apartment , re assuring to see with covid19 arround . Still impressed with the apartment and wonderful views of Woolacombe bay .
this was our second stay at the old bakery cottage and we had a fab time. The owners have made big improvements to the cottage...with bright decor and a modern kitchen. It is in a great location, allowing you to enjoy the quiet of Mortehoe after surfing in Woolacombe. It could do with an outdoor tap to help you wash your wetsuits!
I have stayed at Narracott 8 many times before and always look forward to my holiday there. But this year there were one or two minor problems. First: it appears the previous occupant had rearranged the tv cables - presumably to play TV games - and not put the cables back. So the tv didn’t work. This was a bit of a nuisance for me and the Holiday Home Hunter staff. Plus it’s a new tv - from previous years - and not a very good model. Second: the Recycling/ Bin Store is smelly and the big wheely bins do not appear to get emptied! But these were very minor issues and did not really distract...more
Well appointed property located in a quiet location on the outskirts of Woolacombe and it's fabulous beach. Our dog loved it. A spacious property with good sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. The only downside was the oversized and uncomfortable lounge seating - no good for posture or bad backs. The outside space is large and quirky with winding pathways on it's sloping landscape leading to a number of hidden spaces. There is a rundown summerhouse crammed full of outside furniture which was diificult to extract so we used our own portable seating which wasn't a disaster because when the weath...more
We had a fabulous week at little beach the weather was wonderful . The apartment is in an amazing location . The views from the bay windows of the sea are fantastic . We sat on the balcony most evenings and watched the surfers and the sun set into the sea. We did some amazing coastal walks to Croyde and Ilfracombe and the Heddon valley was spectacular even with the sea mist .The apartment could do with a little updating the chairs at the dining table were a little tatty but overall a fantastic holiday and apartment . We’ll definitely be back .
We are no stranger to Woolacombe and usually stay regularly in another property along the Esplanade. We booked this as it was still available when we wanted a getaway after COVID lockdown. We travelled as a couple along with my 72 year old mum. We didn't know how much would have been removed and simplified from the property due to the stricter cleaning measures in place, but we were very happy to find plenty of plates, cups, glasses and cutlery in the kitchen for our use without the need to constantly wash up. The property was thoroughly clean on arrival and you could smell that disinfectant c...more
Amazing holiday property. Would certainly book again. Just one small observation is property has a full size dishwasher and even though it is only for two persons there weren’t enough cutlery and crockery eg just 4 plates etc Would be better with more items
Great location right by the town and sea. Property said that it could have 2 small cars, more than ample parking for both our cars which are standard size. Good range of facilities in the apartment itself however as the property was supposed to be ‘COVID’ cleaned I would not say that it was so. The property was clean at first glance but it had not been deep cleaned and we did this ourselves. We weren’t allowed in the property till 5 due to the cleaning but there wasn’t anyone in the property cleaning from 12:30 onwards. Some of the towels provided were stained but there were some spares up...more
Excellent location, very clean and tidy. The only issue which needed attention was lots of mold on tiles in the ensuite which requires fixing. We would definitely recommend this property.
We enjoyed our stay at 6 little beach great location to beach and town , we did some lovely walks . The apartment was light and the loft windows gave fantastic views across the bay Woolacombe . The only complaint we had was that the washing machine was broken and awaiting repair!! We had to chase this up with the house maid and was told it was broken . This was not brought to our attention before we started our week stay and nothing mentioned until we made enquiries. With no balcony or a place to hang washing this was an inconvenience and wouldn’t stay here again . Also the grill didn’t work...more
We had two of our children, one grandson and one Great grandson during the week and we all enjoyed Stepping Stones, the view and activities around the beach were curtailed by rain every day but facilities at Stepping Stones were enjoyed by all generations.
We had a great week in the flat, bigger than we thought and the pictures of the front room and view from outside don't really do it justice. As well as high up sea views there's also rugged hills on the other side giving a great variety to look at. We found it well equipped and having a car parking space is a massive bonus in Woolacombe. Location is quiet and is perfect for the beach at Combesgate and the main woolacombe beach is less than 15 mins walk and misses out the big hills up to Mortehoe.
