My Family and I used to stay at Parade house many years ago before this new refurbishment. The modernisation of the accommodation is amazing. We chose the View to stay at, with the excellent glass frontage view of the beach and the very handy safe fenced in garden we could let our two dogs safely run around in while we sat in the hot tub. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully designed, very clean and comfortable. It's location is one of the best in Woolacombe for being very close to the town but still with the almost unobstructed view of the beach. Customer service was excellent...more
The flat is clean and spacious, modern with amazing views. Ideal for two couples or a family of four at a fraction of the price you would pay for decent hotel accommodation. It’s less than a five minute walk into Woolacombe with really good restaurants , cafes, bars and a supermarket. There are lots of amazing country and coastal walks in the area. Highly recommended
This is our second year for our family to stay at Bay View Cottage, having stayed at one of the Little Beach Apartments across the street the prior year, and in several years before that various of the Woolacombe Bay static caravan parks. You can tell we love Woolacombe - for the location in general, the atmosphere and activities available. We transitioned from the caravans to the apartments/homes due to the hassle of getting to the beach and the £8 parking per day. Little Beach was great and right on the seafront, but Bay View gives a much larger house, with amazing views and a higher spec ...more
Another brilliant stay at point view. Seems to get better every year , new carpets a nice addition. Lovely to know the views will never change.
We have had a perfect week, the cottege exceeded expectations, it was spotlessly clean, really comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped, really everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed sitting on the little terrace outside the bedroom overlooking the beautiful view. Mortehoe is a lovely village with two great pubs serving excellent food, the fish and chip shop was good too. There's a lovely walk down into Woolacombe with great views of the coastline. Although rather steep on the way up, there is a bus service.
Lovely sea views and very close to beach and shops . We loved to sit on the balcony and look out across the beautiful beach and sea . I would highly recommend this apartment
Rosalie is in a fantastic spot, very close to the centre of the Village, and an easy barefoot walk to the beach. It’s outdoor space is good if a little unusual, but there is a nice little grass area for sunbathing, whilst listening to the waves, and a table and chairs for eating out.
This is a great place, fantastic location, lovely accommodation and amazing views. Perfect for families.
Brilliant apartment great views. Could do with somewhere outside to wash the sand off but couldn't fault the apartment
This property was not like the usual holiday flat with minimum facililities. Everything that might be needed was there.
An ideal holiday location for our family. It had everything we wanted, including stunning sea views and top quality facilities. We partly self-catered and can honestly say that for this purpose it was the best equipped property we have ever stayed in. Car access is via a very steep drive and parking spaces are limited. We had difficulty with this during our stay and would not book her again unless the issue is addressed. We would recommend that parking is discussed with the agent before booking, particularly if you have more than 1 vehicle in your party and /or they are larger than a Mini e...more
I enjoyed looking at the view of the bay, people walking by look up and think "I wish we where staying there" . The house was very comfortable, it had everything required for a short stay.
Fantastic stay in excellent accommodation in a wonderful location. The property had everything we needed.
My very positive review last year of 6 Little Beach focused largely on the tribulations of our journey to Woolacombe rather than the property itself. So this year, I’ll try and talk a bit more about Number 5 Narracott which is where we actually stayed. However, unlike last year’s positivity, this year’s review does unfortunately include a large number of complaints. My first complaint is that our journey this year was actually rather uneventful. Obviously we left late due to the usual procrastinating of the other half (although this has become such an inevitable thing that I would probably...more
Lovely location, nice that we could take the family dog, everything we needed. Very relaxing and comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ivycott. The house was well equipped, showers were powerful and the beds were really comfy! As soon as we walked in we felt “at home” rather than in a holiday cottage.
This is our third time staying here, and we have loved it again. Great location, well equipped, fabulous views, spacious. We will be back!
This was our second stay at 2 Crescent Yard and once again it was a wonderful week in Mortehoe. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could wish for and is perfectly located for exploring the area. My only comment would be that a king size bed would add a little extra comfort. The bed is very comfy but feels quite cramped especially on warmer nights.
Holiday Home Hunter from start to finish were excellent . Breakers was and is in a fantastic location with everything you could possibly need, and fittings to a high standard. We didn't want to come home . Would highly recommend Holiday Home Hunter
Lovely cottage in a great location. Loved the sea views. Children loved the cows who visited in the evening. It was great.
Nostalgic trip to meet up with old friends & kids going with their kids ,found this accommodation excellent & views are excellent, 5 minutes to beach with shops on route , great stay
Excellent location for easy access to Woolacombe and Morthoe, if you can handle the hill. With stunning views from both balconies, this a spacious ,well set out apartment, but mind your head in the bedroom !
Everything was as described, but the view was even better than expected. You are up high enough so you don’t get any traffic noise, just the noise of the sea. My only quibble is that there were no matching wine glasses!
Lovely apartment and views , will be booking again .. only problem we had was we found on arrival and when went out in car ...people parked in our car park space to go to beach ...
Fantastic apartment with great views. We would definitely stay here again. K
An excellently situated apartment with fantastic sea views, a great value beach holiday on one of the best beaches in England
6 Narracott Apartments is a lovely apartment situated very close to Woolacombe Village and Woolacombe beach (albeit up a short steep hill). The apartment has an open plan kitchen/living area and two sizeable bedrooms with loads of storage space. All three rooms have balconies with sea views. I would highly recommend this apartment for a family holiday.
Provided a very happy family break for my grandchildren son and his wife. My wife and I were also able to visit the surrounding countryside.
The Lookout at Parade House has one of the best locations in Woolacombe & the best view! The property is amazing & we all enjoyed our stay immensely! The welcome hamper is a lovely touch which we devoured, so thank you :) We had amazing weather during our stay which made it one of the best weeks we have had in Woolacombe to date, but I can safely say that this property would be perfect in any weather!
Excellent position close to beach.wonderful balcony overlooking beach on which to enjoy a glass of wine. Support staff excellent particularly in the office. Would happily use this company again.
comfortable cottage in an excellent location in Morthoe, close to pubs shop and local walks yet still peacefull and quiet, cottage has everything you need and a patio balcony with a view to die for, only one parking space but the village car park is only a couple of hundread yards away and is reasonably priced if you buy a permit, Top Marks !!
A very tricky heating system which we needed some of the time because although it was June it was a very cold week. 3 adults stayed here but the accommodation is more geared to 2 adults and 1 or 2 children. Approach and parking not easy.
This is a wonderful location for a property balcony and views are unbeatable. I think however the property would benefit from some maintenance seemed set up a number of years ago and not much input for a while. For example all the outdoor furniture is past its best and in some cases unusuable . Also inside videos dvds books could all do with an upgrade. Other wise fantastic spot.
We have stayed here on numerous occasions and it is perfect for us as coastal path walkers (and would be spectacular if we did the cold wet stuff like surfing!). It has all the basics for cooking and eating etc but we keep returning for the view. It is an ever changing picture a pleasure to watch even on a wet day! The flat is getting a bit ‘tired’ (rust under radiator seen when on loo- could eventually cause leakage) and beds are ok if you like them firm. There are half a dozen steep steps to access front door from the adequate parking space and it is all quite safe. We aim to return (please...more
The location and accommodation are perfect for a family holiday. The property is well equipped , clean and well looked after. We appreciated being able to park two cars off road during the time of our stay. We will certainly consider booking the property again.
A very clean, well equipped and spacious apartment. There were a few minor "problems" e.g. traffic from lane a little noisy, no view from the living room, wet room shower does not work as it should, but these things did not spoil our enjoyment and we would definitely book again next year. HHH team are great, nice people to deal with.
Superb place to stay lovely location nice and clean fantastic view across woolacombe bay from the small balcony. On the down side four flights of stairs hard work when moving luggage so if you have a disability would not be suitable, it was our second time as we stayed same time last year and hopefully can get it for same time next year
We have just returned from an amazing week staying in this fab holiday apartment. The location is simply perfect and we loved sitting on the balcony watching the surf. The whole apartment was comfortable and provided everything we needed for a fab holiday. I would not hesitate to book this property again.
The property is excellent and in a wonderful location. The only drawback was the driving in and out. The only option was to travel up the road turn round and approach from Mortehoe side. Then reverse out onto the road. But never mind we had a wonderful holiday and the area is wonderful for us.
We had a wonderful stay, fantastic location, came last year and will book again. Lovely views and brilliant beaches.
Communication was great. We arrived to a beautifully clean and stylish accommodation. There was everything we needed and plenty of local information. Great location, quiet but in walking distance of beaches and shops. Would highly recommend.
Superb location and a spacious apartment. Needs some TLC to bring it up to the quality this apartment deserves. For example bottom sheet in main bedroom badly torn on side.Wardrobe shelves needed cleaning and hanging space in the wardrobe had been designated to two very large vacuum cleaners. This was the only wardrobe available in the bedroom. Would we stay here again? For sure the views from the lounge are magnificent and overall the facilities are excellent.
Pro’s....A spacious and light property. 5 minutes walk to town and 15 mins walk to the beach. Well provisioned. Hot tub a good bonus. Cons...Small amount of storage space in bedrooms and also minimal shade offered in the terraced garden for people with small children. Some evening noise from adjacent campsite. Would book again. Pizza van and fish and chip van just outside the post office are great!
We had a lovely stay at 6 Little Beach in spite of mixed weather. The apartment was clean & comfortable with amazing views of the beach . The only negative points being no where to put our clothes in the main bedroom! We feel a wardrobe or chest of drawers is required, It’s not always convenient to keep going into the twin room to get clothes ,especially if guests are staying! Also a row of coat hooks in the hallway would be useful to hang wet coats/macs. Otherwise a lovely apartment Thank you Patricia- Oxfordshire
