We had a lovely week in this well equipped and spacious property. Views are amazing and perfect location for the beach. Lots of local shops in Woolacombe - a short walk away.
We love the view across the beach from the window seat in the living room. Everything you need and a short walk to the village.
Had a lovely relaxing stay at Beachside. Have stayed before and will stay again. Only complaint is some people staying at Hartland sat on our bench in front of our window even though windows were open, maybe put private on little gate.
This house was described as 'insane' by our teenagers - which is probably as good as it gets in the world of teenage compliments. The words fabulous and luxurious come to mind and the location is unbeatable. Within minutes from the from door we were in the surf and a only short sprint to the hot tub with a beer or prosecco at the end of the day. The town is equally close and the car stayed parked all week other than for a rib ride trip in Ilfracombe. The house itself is beautifully decorated and furnished with all you could need and incredibly warm and dry considering the high ceilings and the...more
Just returned from a lovely stay at The Beach House, Woolacombe, this was a second visit to a great house in a stunning location. Once again it didn't fail to impress us very clean and modern with everything provided. We've already booked a return visit.
The apartment is in the most fantastic location. It is so comfortable and was clean and fresh when we arrived. There were fresh muffins left for us and some milk in the fridge which was lovely after a long journey.
What a beautiful house this is, so much space and views from so many areas. Everything you need for a home from home experience. We celebrated our daughter's Engagement as during our week together she was proposed to by her boyfriend overlooking Woolacombe beach. Very romantic and this house will always hold a very special memory for us all. We will be back!
Lovely large apartment with private underground parking. Well kitted out with everything you need. Fantastic views of the whole beach from the three balconies. Great location for easy access to shops and beach. Bus stop 2 minute walk which will take you into Ilfracombe or Barnstaple. Great communications from Holiday Home Hunter providing all the information of local area and lead up to the stay.
Upon arrival everything was very clean and tidy with an apartment that is fully equipped with everything we required. With a couple of minutes walk to the shops and pubs and 5 minute walk to the beach the location is fantastic. We’ve booked again for next year as we were so pleased with everything.
I had a AMAZING WONDERFUL stay at the Penthouse such a lovely accommodation. It was really Clean and the views were so so beautiful. The service was second to none from Maddy and the team A massive thank you HOLIDAY DREAM MAKERS. Just a little thing maybe some new knife and forks and glasses but no problem. I would recommend the property any time, and totally recommend the AMAZING TEAM AT HOLIDAY HOME HUNTER. You really had my best holiday in my life
Rosalie is a lovely Appartment, a comfortable and cosy space. Outdoor areas are a real bonus, with nice sitting areas all secure and dog proof. Good parking. Close to shops and beach and also just up the road is the donkey trail up to Mortehoe. The children really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and spent many happy hours surfing. Fantastic welcome pack.
The views from Combesgate View are fantastic and it's just a short walk into the Centre. The apartment is well-equipped.
We have enjoyed many lovely stays in Overcombe. The views are superb and it is well positioned for walking into Woolacombe village and along the SW Coast path. It is cosy even when the weather is inclement and is well equipped.
Comfortable stay at 5 Hartland, with lovely sea view from living room and kitchen. Super close to the sea front.
Accommodation in perfect position close to all amenities. Beautiful view. Comfortable and very clean . We have stayed there since the apartment was built every year and have booked for next year. Holiday Home Hunter very helpful in booking your holiday.
We’ve just returned from a wonderful week staying at Cliff Cottage and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway. The location is absolutely excellent, perfectly situated on the esplanade with beautiful sea views and easy access to everything nearby. It was ideal for morning walks, evenings by the seafront, and simply enjoying the atmosphere. The cottage itself was very well equipped, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a week-long stay. The facilities were thoughtfully provided and made it feel like a real home from home. What really stood out...more
Ivycott had everything we needed and more!! Beautiful home in a great location. Lovely big secure garden which our dog loved . Lovely walk down to Woolacombe from the property but as owners state it’s not for the faint hearted, especially walking back but we throughly enjoyed it! We will definitely be returning.
This is our 20th year of booking in Mortehoe with Maddy and Holiday Home Hunter - I think the longevity and loyalty we've shown says it all really. It was lovely to be back at the old place - and I am already looking at 2027 dates now!!! Thank you Maddy & Sarah - a wonderful local Woolacombe biz to support
We had a wonderful last minute break, can’t believe it was still available! Amazing sea and countryside views in a fantastic location, in a clean cottage which had everything we could have needed. We would definitely stay again.
Cliffside Garden Flat, exceeded our expectations in every way. The care that Mark and Vicky have taken with the quality and style of the fittings throughout the apartment is really exceptional. They provided everything we could wish for to make our holiday as memorable as possible. The apartment is beautifully presented in every room. There were a few very loose door handles on the interior doors, which could do with refitting, and the the provision of a wall clock in the living room / kitchen area would also be appreciated. A radio of some sort would also have added to our enjoyment ...more
Our 2nd stay at 8 little beach Had an excellent stay again, stunning views wow every time Super location with parking Facilities great coffee machine a great asset Thank for the gift on arrival this feels like home as soon as you arrive Keep up with the good work holiday home hunter
The apartment is spacious and light. It felt holidayish when you first entered. However it’s a very ‘tired’ apartment and really needs some love. The mattress in the main room is very uncomfortable and desperately needs replacing. It’s up a very steep slope which my 6 yr old struggled with, after being in the sea. We ended up paying to park. This may not be a problem if you don’t have tired 6yr olds! Over all it is a nice apartment but felt a little grotty as it really needs a refurb, decorating. I’m not sure I’d go back, maybe a bit pricey for what it is, if I’m honest, but others may ...more
The Lookout was all that we hoped it would be for a weeks holiday in Woolacombe, the location and quality was perfect for a special family gathering that included our one year old grandson. Very clean, ease of parking and great views across the beach from the lounge, balcony and hot tub made for a very enjoyable stay. Holiday Home Hunters were great communicators and very helpful when contacting them for a small query that we had - would recommend!
Stayed for 4 nights, we were lucky with the weather, but with the views from the bay window, the stay would have been great anyway. Good sized living room and kitchen, there were only 2 of us, but space for more. Board storage in the shed was a bonus. Great place, we will be back
We had a wonderful week at 2 Belmont Court. It is in a fabulous location on the Esplanade, a short walk into the town with its shops, pubs and restaurants. A short walk will also take you to Woolacombe Beach which even in February is amazing. The apartment is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery and cooking equipment if you need it. The furniture is clean and comfortable. The heating worked well and it was lovely and cosy. Highly recommend.
Fourth family holiday now in Woolacombe….have stayed in a variety of holiday rentals. I’d certainly recommend Holiday Home Hunter as the service was excellent. No 6 is a great place to stay….good location and comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Honeysuckle Cottage. It is in a great location near to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. It is a home from home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also so lovely to wake to to hear lambs bleating in the morning. Would highly recommend this spacious getaway.
The outstanding feature for this flat was the view through the patio doors. Unfortunately, the glazing had blown which was disappointing. The fridge fell forward if too much weight in the front, some cupboards didn't have handles which proved awkward to open, poor quality mattresses and four flights of stairs to get to the property. The toilets wobbled, the seal on the shower doors had broken and generally looked like it needed a spruce up throughout. The carbon monoxide tester was beeping when we arrived and TV remote control batteries needed replacing. Compared to other holiday lets in the a...more
Lower Deck is in a beautiful setting, with the most amazing views from the patio doors and terrace. It’s a very special spot! Unfortunately, on this occasion, and whilst cosmetic improvements had been made since our previous visit the property was not clean - we arrived to find dirty floors (that should have been mopped), hair and waste contact lenses supplies in both bathroom bins and half eaten food in the freezer. We needed to wipe out both the cupboards and the fridge on arrival. It should be noted that we’d been made aware that the apartment had not been cleaned by the usual cleaner, ...more
In a great location, comments from booking do state that the accommodation is on the tired side but would still expect certain standards to be met, the beds and bedding need replacing; we suffered with the mattresses and left the day before our last night. Gorgeous view but we had to clean the windows to see it. Also, owner is expecting builders imminently which we were told about a week before our holiday so no other option but to continue with our stay, lots of tooing and froing with emails, they turned up 8am on our first morning but then thankfully didn't return. We love Woolacombe and w...more
