The flat is clean and spacious, modern with amazing views. Ideal for two couples or a family of four at a fraction of the price you would pay for decent hotel accommodation. It’s less than a five minute walk into Woolacombe with really good restaurants , cafes, bars and a supermarket. There are lots of amazing country and coastal walks in the area. Highly recommended
Stayed here again ,everything great as usual. Easy walking distance to the Chich Ship & Smugglers .Good food &beer at Pubs. Not far from Woolacombe Beach which is great . ..Will be coming again June &Sept. Geoff Perry
This property is in a beautiful location. Very comfortable and practical space .. we had a great week!
Perfect position for coast path and beach. Well equipped and outside space is a real bonus. Can see surf shower outside being perfect when it warms up enough for us to don the shorty wetsuits and get in the surf.
Great location Very clean Our fav place to stay in Woolacombe Well equipped kitchen Perfect for two people who need their space or for small families with 2 children.
Beautiful cottage stunning location Lovely welcome from Claire who left it spotless for us we will be back again
A really comfortable modern apartment in a fabulous position. Nice to have car parking level with the apartment.
Brilliant apartment great views. Could do with somewhere outside to wash the sand off but couldn't fault the apartment
This was our second stay at top Deck. It really is an amazing place to stay, the flat itself is clean and very well equipped with plenty of space for our family of 2 adults and 2 pre teens. The proximity to the beach and amenities is fabulous. We were able to walk to the beach for body boarding, then walk back to the flat again when we were finished. There is a shed provided for storing boards and wetsuits which is really useful. The view from the balcony and pretty much every room in the flat is fantastic. We will definitely stay again.
My very positive review last year of 6 Little Beach focused largely on the tribulations of our journey to Woolacombe rather than the property itself. So this year, I’ll try and talk a bit more about Number 5 Narracott which is where we actually stayed. However, unlike last year’s positivity, this year’s review does unfortunately include a large number of complaints. My first complaint is that our journey this year was actually rather uneventful. Obviously we left late due to the usual procrastinating of the other half (although this has become such an inevitable thing that I would probably...more
Lovely property and location. Would of preferred a bigger dining table/area rather than having two lounges
The three bedroomed house was exceptionally spacious and furnished to a high standard. It was clean and homely and had a nice outside area with sea views. Real home from home-we all loved it!! Mortehoe is a very nice village with two good pubs, an excellent take-away, great fish and chip shop, village store, post office and museum.
Great holiday home with beautiful views over the Woolacombe bay. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. Thank you soo much!
Nostalgic trip to meet up with old friends & kids going with their kids ,found this accommodation excellent & views are excellent, 5 minutes to beach with shops on route , great stay
A super view fir sunset drinks, comfortable beds and helpful agents. Only downside was broken washing machine so we had to get that done elsewhere. A bit more fairy liquid and s j clothe would have been welcome. We don’t have a dish washer at home or I would have bought some tablets too. Would love to stay again despite the steps.
Visited in May with our 2 dogs. Glorious weather in a beautiful place we know and love so well. Great location near good walks. Half a mile along sea front to Woolacombe centre, so nice and quiet- we didn't wake up until after 9am every day! Fairly steep steps to and from apartment, so may not be suitable for some (our elderly dog struggled a little). Well equipped and well maintained apartment. It's a shame the chairs in the bay window are not comfortable, a comfy recliner would be perfect. We found the beds too firm and had to buy a memory foam mattress topper as I have back problems. Good...more
Myself, my partner and 2 boys aged 9 and 8 stayed here during May half term. We were not quite prepared for the stunning view from our balcony, sometimes photo’s can be slightly misleading but not in this case, the view was everything we had hoped for and more. The apartment was itself was modern and very comfortable with everything that we needed and we loved being literally a stones throw away from the heart of Woolacoombe Bay. I would thoroughly recommend staying here, I know that we will certainly be back. Thank you Holiday Home Hunter.
Great location, lovely views. Didn’t use the car much, great walks from your doorstep. We have stayed in this apartment before, and though comfortable, it it looked a little tired, and the bed was very creaky.
The weather was awful, which coloured our stay !! The thermostatic valve on the great big radiator in the big front bedroom does not work and it is impossible to turn the radiator off - this means that when warmth is needed in the rest of the flat, that bedroom is like a furnace. Also the sink in the en-suite to the back bedroom leaks. These matters were reported to the staff. We have stayed in this flat and in other of Holiday Home Hunter's places many times over the past years. In other times one of their staff has always called in early in the visit to see if all was ...more
comfortable cottage in an excellent location in Morthoe, close to pubs shop and local walks yet still peacefull and quiet, cottage has everything you need and a patio balcony with a view to die for, only one parking space but the village car park is only a couple of hundread yards away and is reasonably priced if you buy a permit, Top Marks !!
A very tricky heating system which we needed some of the time because although it was June it was a very cold week. 3 adults stayed here but the accommodation is more geared to 2 adults and 1 or 2 children. Approach and parking not easy.
Great view of Woolacombe beach from the flat and in a perfect place to enjoy all that Woolacombe has to offer and good parking. The facilities are very good the flat has everything that you need for your stay but I have spent many holidays here and it is starting to show its age.
ivycott is a lovely house in a very pleasant rural location - it is very comfortable indeed and very well equipped we would recommend staying here. there is a path to the beach - but need to drive if taking equipment etc to the beach.
Many good features, made for a great place to stay in Woolacombe......comfortable and well equipped, lovely views, very convenient for beach, walks, shops etc, and easy parking. TAKE CARE re big step down just inside the front door, my husband tripped down this almost immediately and spent the first couple of days of our holiday with his ankle wrapped in frozen peas....convenient pharmacy and Londis very useful! Holiday Home Hunter really helpful both with the original booking and sorting out a maintenance problem at the weekend.
The location and accommodation are perfect for a family holiday. The property is well equipped , clean and well looked after. We appreciated being able to park two cars off road during the time of our stay. We will certainly consider booking the property again.
The property is in a stunning location and the amenities are superb. Easy access and great range of restaurants in walking distance, as is the beach.
SEALOFT Great location with fantastic views across to WOOLACOMBE BEACH and MORTHOE, I asked HOLIDAY HOME HUNTER re advice for a property with these views as had stayed nearby before with them and wanted similar views if possible. The property is quite quirky which we really liked and has lots of character. The property was well stocked with kitchen utensils and the balcony was great after a days walking. Unfortunately the property was not very clean, this is the first HOLIDAY HOME HUNTER property I have encountered with this problem, generally the property needs a good clean, specific examp...more
The location of the apartment and its view are superb. The apartment furnishings are acceptable, but getting a little tired now.
A very relaxing holiday, helped by glorious weather over the Easter period. The surfing conditions were a bit mixed but the base at Stepping Stones was fine for us, as it is far enough away from the bustle of the town centre, but close enough that it can be reached in under 10 minutes walk. Stepping Stones suits us well and is perfectly adequate for our needs. The car parking can be a little tricky when the other White Rose residents are parked and needs care even with medium sized vehicles. However, once the car is in position it is a very secluded parking area, and the lower level space is q...more
Had to chase round for keys on arrival as not where they should have been and no reply from contact numbers. Towels and bedding were not changed after 1st week as promised when we were staying for 2 weeks.
The location of the property is first rate and is kept in a clean condition by the house keeper. Unloading is easy with only a few stairs to contend with. What let's it down is a general lack of maintenance to fixtures and fittings for example, rusty unusable balcony furniture; shower hose in need of replacement, no plug fitting in the separate toilet and in general need of a lick of paint. For those people who previously are used to staying at Ocean View Penthouse next door (before the owners put it up for sale) will notice poorer quality for the same price.
We enjoyed a lovely stay, and benefitted from the amazing views, however we were let down by the cleanliness we found the apartment in on our arrival. After a number of phone calls with the housekeeper, these were rectified over a couple of attempts and days, however we feel for a property of this type this should not be required. At the request of the housekeeper, a full list of issues was provided when we left. Sadly these issues would prevent us from recommending this property.
