We had a fabulous holiday in this homely and well equipped apartment. The location is amazing - perfect for walkers - the walk to the headland Morte Point boasts stunning views - there is the Barricane and Coombesgate beaches nearby, and you are just a short distance from the main surfing beach at Woolacombe. Mortehoe village has lots of places to eat, including two pubs, (one just opposite the apartment), a tea room, and a little village shop. Our second stay at this wonderful location, in what is a perfect property, we have already provisionally booked for next year. The description Holiday Home Hunter advertise is spot on. I have booked many times with them and have experienced professional, friendly service every time , I recommend them .It is a very comfortable property in every way, soft towels , good quality bedding , sun chairs in addition to the picnic table and bench and this year a sun umbrella over the picnic table which was needed quiet a bit as the terrace is a sun trap. Over the years we have stayed in quite a few properties managed by Holiday Home Hunter and this is certainly one of the best. As we are in our late seventies and maybe less active, comfort, and a good view are most important to us and this property fits the bill. Much better equipped than the average holiday rental everything you could possibly need is supplied. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and has a real home from home feel and is surprisingly spacious. The parking at the rear adjacent to the entrance is a plus. Our stay last week in Beachside, Woolacombe was excellent, helped by brilliant weather for pretty much the whole week. The apartment was superb, everything we needed for what was intended to be a restful break, and more. The apartment itself was very clean and in excellent condition with uninterrupted vies of the sea and across the beach and, because of the weather we were able to sit outside on the terrace enjoying the fantastic views. This house was described as 'insane' by our teenagers - which is probably as good as it gets in the world of teenage compliments. The words fabulous and luxurious come to mind and the location is unbeatable. Within minutes from the from door we were in the surf and a only short sprint to the hot tub with a beer or prosecco at the end of the day. The town is equally close and the car stayed parked all week other than for a rib ride trip in Ilfracombe. Just returned from a lovely stay at The Beach House, Woolacombe, this was a second visit to a great house in a stunning location. Once again it didn't fail to impress us very clean and modern with everything provided. We've already booked a return visit.
This apartment is lovely. We have stayed here before to relax in comfort and enjoy the views, the location and the local beaches. Coombesgate is our favourite just across the road and down the steps Ah yes, steps Walking from the town or Mortehoe means uphill and then steps back up to No 7 But worth the effort and a glass of wine on the terrace is a worthwhile reward Great location for exploring, swimming, surfing, hiking as well as great places to eat locally and in the surrounding area Our favourites are the Beach House in Woolacombe, The Manor House in Croyde and The Rock at Georgeham
We had a lovely week at Combe Cottage. Brilliantly placed for dog walks straight from the door. Lovely cottage, well maintained, comfortable, all facilities that you need. Enclosed terrace for doggies. However no grassy garden for them to run freely although there is a grass area to sit in at the front of the property where ours needed to be on lead. We didn’t find that a problem as there is a footpath up to Donkey Trail close by. HHH were as helpful as usual with advising on booking etc Cannot rate Maddy and Sarah highly enough. We love this apartment and try to book it every year! It is warm and bright with amazing views across Woolacombe and the beach. The living room balcony is a real sun trap, perfect for our Easter/Spring visit. Yes, you can get smells from The Barn, noises from the Adventure playground and sometimes hear revellers making their way home after hours, but the view, cosyness and space within the apartment more than makes up for it and it is priced accordingly.
Lovely time staying here again. Property is very clean and has a new kitchen this year which is lovely. Good communication with the agent and owners when I had a slight issue. Great to stay there and loved our time in the apartment.
Very nice house, but really a shame that the upstairs toilet didnt flush. Kitchen was a little bit worn down, pots and pans not really tidy, new baking trays are needed. Besides everything was fine.
We booked for a week and stayed for two! Fabulous views and close enough to walk everywhere. Comfortable and clean. We will be back.
Overcombe is a lovely accommodation, with everything that you need there to make your stay comfortable. The view from the front bedroom is lovely and also sitting in the wicker chairs in the lounge gives a great view of the sea.
This was the 2nd visit & again we were left amazed with our stay. The location overlooking the beach takes your breath away & to have a choice of places to view it is fantastic. The property offers all you could ask for in a vacation with its homely feel & everything has been thought of. We will return as we love the area & we wouldn’t consider looking for another place. The welcome pack after a long drive is great as you can sit down, have a hot drink & then head off to the shops. Thank you again & see you again soon

A lovely apartment with outstanding sea views and plenty of space. A very light and airy apartment in a great location. Lots of utensils and equipment provided including things for our 1 year old and for older children. We will definitely recommend and return to this fabulous apartment. Thank you.
The accomodation was excellent with everything you need in it , spacious and very comfortable. Spectacular views.Seating area outside to relax and take in the beautiful views. Owners are very thoughtful,we appreciated the welcome pack and they even thought about families ,our grandson enjoyed playing with the games and drawing items which they provided.Thank you ,we had a lovely holiday.
When you stay at The View, you are basically paying for the location and view. It is within very short walking distance of the beach and from the large patio doors, you can look at the beach 24/7. You have on site parking which when Woolacombe is busy is a great advantage. You are a very short walk from the local shops and more importantly the restaurants which there are a wide variety of. This is now our second year at the apartment and we have already booked for next year (2025). Would definitely recommend this 3 bedroom apartment with one of the best locations in Woolacombe. The views from the master bedroom are simply stunning, but the best feature is the very roomy terrace overlooking Woolacombe main beach and Barricane! Our family loved it and would happily return in the future.
We really enjoyed staying in Ivycott. It was in a lovely location too. Plenty of room for us all. A lovely house with everything we needed. Like a home from home. We would definitely go back and would love to take the dogs.
Another great week in Woolacombe at Pandora Court. I think its the 4th or 5th straight year in a row for us now, so its all very reassuringly familiar. Enjoyed the great views from the terrace again and the convenience of being so close to town and the beach. We will be back!
Fabulous cottage with a central village location and a view to die for. Everything you need for a staycation. Within easy reach of beaches and costal walks. Plenty of space to accommodate 6 people, it’s like a tardis Booking process always made simple with Maddy. We will be back
We have stayed at Cliffside before but not since it's refresh under new ownership. It is a lot fresher with some lovely touches. Cannot wait to stay again. Ceri in Bucks
This is our third stay at 8 Little Beach and gives an indication of how much we have enjoyed our stay. Hunter Holidays are excellent with communication, information and response. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and equipped well. It is on three levels internally, though only a few stairs between each level but may be a bit of a problem for some people. There is rather a sharp hill to the apartment and again may be a problem for some people. Second time at 1 Belmont the decking has been changed that is so good it's lovely , the view well breathtaking especially if like me you can't get onto the beach. It's a very airy place well lit... There were some issues which hopefully will be addressed regarding cleaning, the washer and bedding ... If you have bad backs or suffer chronic pain etc then take a mattress topper as the main bed is rock hard and not comfy...Holiday home hunter are outstanding in their time patience and kindness and understanding Thank you... There is no doubt this properties location is perfect for the beautiful sea view and perfect to cross the road & be on the beach! We had a lovely time the property is lovely, a few minor things like a 6 seater outside table for a 8 person property was annoying and the glass dining area was very hot!! Weather was 21/22 when we went but if it was any hotter it would be unbearable to eat there- maybe some kind of A/C to allow all year use.
Large, comfortable apartment, near to beaches and cliff walks. We’ve been staying here for a few years now and find it suits us perfectly. Enclosed porch as you enter holds all your coats, boots, shoes, dog leads etc. twin bedroom then on your right and straight ahead a double roomy bedroom with small en-suite. Then left from porch is a lovely roomy bathroom with shower over bath. Through a door ahead of you is kitchen, then dining and large living area. This is our second time staying at this apartment and it was as good as the first time (in fact we have booked again for next year). Great location, very comfortable and well equipped plus the views are just stunning. Only criticism is that the allotted car space is very tight and the visitor spaces tend to be taken as they are easier spaces to park cars. Still looking forward to next year. Thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Honeysuckle Cottage. It is in a great location near to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. It is a home from home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also so lovely to wake to to hear lambs bleating in the morning. Would highly recommend this spacious getaway.
In a great location, comments from booking do state that the accommodation is on the tired side but would still expect certain standards to be met, the beds and bedding need replacing; we suffered with the mattresses and left the day before our last night. Gorgeous view but we had to clean the windows to see it. Also, owner is expecting builders imminently which we were told about a week before our holiday so no other option but to continue with our stay, lots of tooing and froing with emails, they turned up 8am on our first morning but then thankfully didn't return. Lower Deck has amazing views. Perfect for people watching . The apartment is well equipped, clean and spacious. Everything you needed. The outside shower was a bonus! Being able to wash everything down after being on the beach was just great. Plus the washing line, another handy thing when needing to dry wetsuits etc. Close to Combesgate beach, little bit further to Woolacombe beach. It was so nice to have the outdoor area, to be able to sit watching the world go by was perfect.
