we visit the Ambleside area at least twice each year and this is certainly the best place we have stayed. The views from the beautiful bay Windows in the living room are spectacular and the central location is wonderful. The condition of the apartment is very hard to fault. The only thing I would point out if being hypocritical, is the water for the bath didn’t run quite hot enough, but with a couple of kettles added it was just fine.

The cottage it self is very comfortable with a wonderful view from the lounge window. Good beds and kitchen equipment.
The email we received said there would be a folder with details of the cottage and advice as to local facilities. WE couldn't find this folder. When we reported this we were advised that all information was on a QR code. We found this very difficult and time consuming to use. This was very frustrating - when we are on holiday everything should be made as easy for people as possible especially when paying premium prices. Forcing people to use this system excludes a significant minority of people (of all ages)..
WE are asked if we would recommend the cottage - only if the above is rectified.

Really nice apartment, good size rooms, well equipped and well located. It is a bit tricky to find but once inside it is great. Some instructions on how to work the appliances and heating would be a helpful addition. Highly recommended

Relaxing in the armchairs with this outstanding view over Ambleside was the best holiday experience . The Temperence Inn was just on the opposite of the Street and only a few steps away. We would come back at and time.

A great location to explore Ambleside but 2nd bedroom is very small and we were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness although that may have been as we were a last minute booking.
