our 3rd year there. It hasn't changed from year-to-year, so we got what we expected. We'll aim to come back next year too
only very minor gripes - I think all the same as last year - not enough loo rolls, missing bulbs in the downstairs bedroom, wi-fi in the downstairs bedroom could do with a boost/extension facility. All of these could be done at minimal cost I think. The telly is a bit complicated to learn, but the young ones helped us crack it
late (11.30 am) check-out was agreed by Brathay Cottages as an exception, and very much appreciated. I think this was our first special request, but George and co have been good each of the years that we've visited

I have stayed at Thomas Fold in the past. The place remains very familiar although there have been some upgrades to keep the standards up. Its a handy location and always bring back memories of visit with friends over the years.

Very comfortable cottage - especially the sofas and beds. There were 3 generations of us and the downstairs bedroom was ideal for grandparents as we weren’t on top of the grandchildren. It would also be ideal for a baby or people with mobility issues. The location is ideal for our favourite bars and restaurants in addition to the bus stop! We hope to return next year.
