Amber Lodge is a cosy, comfortable home from home, equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. One large statement bedroom with a superking (and super comfy) bed and a spacious bathroom with double ended bath and walk in shower make it a perfect place for couples of all ages.

We chose Amber lodge where we have stayed on many occasions. Booking is always so easy, staff are very helpful. The park itself is always clean and well maintained.
Amber lodge is our favourite, its spacious with high quality fittings, and a lovely new sofa. The bed is huge and really comfortable, and we love the shower. The hot tub is very secluded and private. Such a lovely relaxing holiday we will definitely be returning.

Amber Lodge was truly outstanding. We loved every single touch in the lodge from the comfort of the sofa, king size bed to the high standard of the kitchen appliances we used everyday. We would definitely highly recommend Amber lodge and stay there again in the future, if not available try the other lodges as they all looked amazing. Definitely a 5 star accommodation. .

This was our 8th stay at Strawberryfield Park, its most definitely our home from home go to happy place. We love everything about this park. The lodges are clean, very comfortable & tidy just pure luxury! Plenty to do in surrounding areas with the added bonus of a hot tub to really get some R &R. Can’t wait to book again!

Stayed here before & love it has thick curtains in the bedroom, always have the best sleep!

Our 2nd stay at Strawberry Field Park and again we weren't disappointed. The lodge was very comfortable with everything you could need to make it feel like home while staying there. Cleanliness was exceptional and having the hot tub was great for relaxing. Very comfortable bed and new sofa. Such a peaceful location for a relaxing break away.

What made you choose this particular lodge?
Sofa had a higher back than the one in Mulberry Lodge where we stayed before

The accommodation was very comfortable. However the decking area outside was quite small and the site itself was crowded without any accessible areas for walking.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Regarding your feedback on the 'site being overcrowded' - we are a quiet site of just 24 lodges. Guests often enjoy a peaceful stroll around the site and to visit our apple orchard/ picnic area without bumping into anyone else. We have multiple walking maps in each lodge welcome pack for ideas on longer and more extensive routes to walk locally. Each lodge has a vast photo gallery and amenities list on our website from which the size of each decking is viewable. Amber Lodge has a wrap around decking area with plentiful space for dining, lounging and hot tub use. We appreciate that each guest will have different 'essential criteria' that is important to them - this is why each of our lodges is completely individual in design, layout and style. If you have some 'must haves' in mind and are unsure from our lodge galleries on our website, then we would always recommend contacting our helpful team who can pull out key features of each lodge and find the perfect one tailored to you and your needs.

A lovely place to stay. Peace and quiet. Really spacious and light. Had enough towels. One of the nicest lodges we have ever stayed in. The cider barn is worth a visit for the food and entertainment. Not the biggest place so get there early if you want a seat.

Looked like it had a bit more privacy than the other lodges.

Amber Lodge was a fantastic place to escape to for a weekend. Peace and quiet, able to really relax for the first time in a while.
Great walks around Cheddar Gorge, also recommend La Rocca Italian restaurant - phenomenal.
Can't say enough good things about the lodge, comfy bed, all the kitchen stuff we could need and a hot tub that you can soak in under the stars...

This site was easy to find .Situated in a lovely location with easy reach to cheddar gorge and wookey hole.
The lodge was clean .tidy and beautifully decorated..everything you might need
was provided inside the lodge.
Barbeque .reclining Sun beds. Chairs and hot tub .we're on decking outside. Very private and quite.
On entry to Strawberry fields is a Cider barn which does snacks .
Strawberry fields is a relaxing beautiful place.

Yes, I can highly recommend a stay in Strawberry Field Park and especially Amber Lodge as it fully deserves it`s 5 star rating. Everything was perfect and, if your looking for space, then book a 1 bedroom lodge. Ours was extremely spacious - lounge, bedroom and the largest bathroom I`ve ever seen!! Comfort has not been forgotten either including the bed and the sitting area. My only gripe was the can opener, which was plastic and looked like something from a Xmas cracker - It defeated me, so I bought a proper one and left it behind for future visitors. This is our return visit and we were more than pleased with our stay. Mike and his team do a great job.

Second visit to the park, first stay in Amber Lodge, a wonderful lodge, loved the location. The hot tub was lovely and very private. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped. We enjoyed our time at amber lodge after an initial issue with no hot water which was fixed by the next morning, and after giving us use of another lodge to have a hot shower. The food at the cider barn was lovely and even though the decor was rough and ready and maybe not for everyone we loved it . The views were breath taking and the hot tub was great for relaxing in with a glass of wine. We don't leave many reviews but thought this place was exceptional and we will be back.

We stayed here for a long weekend. As soon as we walked in it was cozy and so clean. We’ve stayed in lots of hotels and cabins and this was the cleanest by far which made us feel relaxed and a home away from home.
Location was amazing beautiful surroundings, very private although If we had to be picky on the side where you don’t park the car could do with having bushes so we could use the whole decking area but apart for that it was quite and peaceful.
Would highly recommend amber lodge.
We didn’t actually see anyone that worked there the whole time but Lucy help with everything over email which was great.

Would highly recommend strawberry fields for your next getaway.
Thank you for making our stay relaxing and just what we needed.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at amber lodge. The location was surreal, so peaceful and beautiful.
You could tell that everything was thought out from the kitchen utensils, to the milk in the fridge, to the board games provided.
The facilities are top quality and it honestly feels like your the first person staying at the lodge.
Cleanliness is very important to us and I could not fault the place. However it would have been nice that the hot tub was cleared when maintenance checked it as by the 2nd day there was a lot of tree debris in the hot tub which was a little off putting. Nonetheless we had the best time and would highly recommend.

The loge had been cleaned to a very high standard on our arrival and supplied with tea/coffee etc which was very helpful
Also the provision of robes and slippers for use of the hot tub was a nice touch.
We also liked having the Cider Barn at the Park which provided very good food and live entertainment .

Lodge was beautiful everything to make the 4 days away enjoyable hot tub spotless and lovely and warm bed was super comfortable! We will definitely be back in the summer to make use of the sun loungers and bbq! Very peaceful! We had jo come and do an hours massage each which made it perfect for my birthday of literally doing nothing but relax. We had dinner in cheddar la rocca food was delicious and we are food snobs only like the best of the best. Thanks again

What a great place! We stayed in Amber Lodge during January, and it was a fantastic little break. There’s lots to do in the nearby area (Wells Cathedral is on our list for next time we come back) and had some of the best sleep we’ve had in a long time. Particular high points: watching the sun come up and listening to the birds from the hot tub when it’s 1 degree is a great experience, finding the ice pack that fits around a champagne bottle in the freezer was great, and we rediscovered that my wife is much better at backgammon than me. Would really recommend as a place for a weekend getaway, it’s that perfect combination of quiet and remote but also close enough to everything you could want to do.

We booked a short stay with the aim of complete r&r - we were not disappointed. The lodge was huge and contained everything we needed for our stay. The bed was massive and comfortable and gave us a restful sleep. The outside area (with the hot tub, chairs and BBQ) was perfect. The location is great for walking and visiting the beautiful surrounding towns. The cider barn was wonderful and less than 1 minute from the lodge.

The lodge was spacious, clean and the hot tub was amazing. The area is perfect for relaxing and exploring the countryside and the lodge comes fully equipped with all that you need. Would highly recommend definitely coming back.

a lovely big spacious lodge with plenty of natural light. The bed was extremely comfy. The bathroom was clean and a really good size. Our stay there was pleasant. Really quiet even with our one year old. The hot tub was perfect managed to use it every night after our lovely days out to the beach and other surrounding areas. Great location with shops only 5 mins down the road and a Cider barn at the top of the location. Chilled friendly environment definitely coming back. Feel relaxed and revitalised.

Such a lovely lodge to stay in. Loved the fact the hot tub was private, felt more comfortable. Bed was a great size and comfortable!

If you’re up for a quiet secluded weekend away with a love one or family this is the weekend for you. This trip was my second after my first visit I asked my partner to marry me. It will be an annual visit for me just to get away from everyday life and relax.
