We stayed at the Spinney for 3 nights over the New Year (2024/2025) period. Upon arriving the lodge was prepared perfectly for us, it was warm and cosy with a nice welcome pack including milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine. Soon after settling in, Mike came around to check everything was okay with our lodge, which was nice from the owner and to ensure if we had any problems he was on hand with his team to help. The kitchen was well stocked with items to get us through our stay, the bedroom was very comfy and the bathroom was great with the huge walk in shower, the hot tub was great acros...more
We chose Amber lodge where we have stayed on many occasions. Booking is always so easy, staff are very helpful. The park itself is always clean and well maintained. Amber lodge is our favourite, its spacious with high quality fittings, and a lovely new sofa. The bed is huge and really comfortable, and we love the shower. The hot tub is very secluded and private. Such a lovely relaxing holiday we will definitely be returning.
This was our fifth stay at Strawberryfield Park. As always the lodge was spotless and welcoming. The interior of the lodges are all different which makes it seem like a different time away when choosing a different lodge. Hot tub as usual was heaven. We have hot tubs breaks in other lodges and cottages but none surpass Strawberryfields. It’s a very peaceful relaxing park where you very rarely see anyone. And it’s the only holiday where we eat in lot as the kitchens are so nice you want to cook!
This was a return visit for us, and it lived up to our expectations. Everything about this place is wonderful, from the luxurious lodges to the location. It was our first time in Pomegranate and we loved it - the colourful interiors, the private garden and the high level of comfort. Kudos to all the staff and their high level of care
This was our second stay at strawberry fields and the second time in cheddar pink. We wend for 10 nights from the 20th of December. being Christmas it was magical the large real Christmas tree was a lovely touch. the kids had a great time the lodge and hot tub. the beds are amazingly comfortable and the showers are so large and luxurious. It is so well maintained and to the highest standard I have ever been to. couldn’t fault it. the location is perfect for venturing out and the views of the Mendip hills are beautiful. The whole place is just peaceful and relaxing.
Pet friendly clean spacious cabin, with excellent cooking facilities and lovely outdoor space, including the excellent hot tub. Dealing with Strawberry Fields has been easy, they were really accommodating and supportive with a last minute request for a pet friendly cabin. We had a great stay.
Strawberry Field Park blew our expectations away! Perfect location, stunning views, cosy yet luxurious lodges, quiet & peaceful, the list goes on and on! We will definitely be returning…. Couldn’t recommend enough!
My wife and I stayed here the weekend of our wedding, as we had our reception just next door at the lovely memorial hall, and didn't want far to walk on our first night as newlyweds. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, well presented and warm. Some very nice touches, with milk in the fridge for us.
Myself and my partner had an absolutely amazing stay in Combe Hay for New Year. The pictures when I booked it actually didn't do it justice. Its a really large spacious cabin, beautifully decorated and all 5* amenities. Loved the twinkly lights and the hot tub was fabulous. The surrounding area is lovely and the manual in the lodge gives plenty of ideas on where to go, eat etc. We would 100% return again.
Had an amazing week staying at Perry Lodge, amazing lodge with everything you need for a wonderful stay . Nothing was too much trouble, I recommend to anyone thinking of staying at a lodge , go to Strawberry Fields, it's a beautiful very quiet , you will have the best time, Thank-you so much for a fantastic Week away x
We have visited this park numerous times over the past few years. Staying in Mulberry, Deer Leap, Nyland, The Sleights & Pamela’s Meadow. We love the huge corner sofa & log burner in Pamela’s Meadow. So cosy for the winter. All the lodges are beautiful inside, furnished to a high standard and the best equipped lodges we have visited. I’m sure we will be back in 2025!
Another super stay, this time in Burrington. Super facilities and clean with all mod cons for a relaxing stay. Large lodge and plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The team members we did see were very polite and friendly. Couple of things this time, the super smart TV seemed to keep turning itself off, no idea why and the hot tub, with the exception of day one was only a best warm, showing 35, which was questionable. As it was a stay over new year we did not bother the team to try and sort. All that said, this is an amazing place to stay, and will certainly be back. As an added poi...more
What's not to love, beautiful cabins, in a stunning location. We had a wonderful apres Christmas and new year break.
Had a wonderful stay as always 10/10, lodges have everything you need & more! Just like home from home but with the most stunning views. Immaculately clean, unbelievably comfortable & can’t wait to return!!!
It's our 2nd stay lodges are superb Deer leap definitely gives the WOW factor when you walk in, the site is quiet and relaxing (except occasional noise from cider barn) we love this place relaxing in the hot tub after a day of walking and exploring, the whole site is 5 star and we can't wait to return
This was our 2nd stay at the park. The first time was 2018, without a dog. Blackbird Lodge is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the complimentary wine, water, biscuits and pint of milk. We liked the thoughtful doggie biscuits and towel. The hot tub is amazing and the daily checks a comfort to know. We stayed with friends who hadn’t been before and they also loved it. The park is in a good location close to many tourist spots. The only suggestion I would make is a bigger enclosed space for dogs to run around a bit and maybe a grassed area by the lodge for those bedtime an...more
Booked the accommodation for a pre Christmas mini-break after a tough year. Before we arrived, we were contacted to inform us that the log burner in our lodge was out of action but there was no issue in moving us to another lodge. The staff were very friendly and helpful in facilitating this. The accommodation was superb, very clean with all amenities available, including a hot tub. Very relaxing and we were able to chill out. The site was in a beautiful location within the Cheddar Gorge, very close to both the town of Cheddar and the city of Wells, with its stunning Cathedral and ...more
Myself & my partner had a lovely time staying at The Levels. It felt like a pure luxury weekend away! We travelled from Lyneham, Wiltshire & was worth the hour & half journey. We enjoyed the wam hot tub in the evenings & the comfort of the log burner. We’ll definitely be coming again & will/have recommended you to our friends & family! 10/10 from us x
Been coming to Strawberryfields for several years now and Cedar Lodge has been far the best. The extra bed room and bathroom proved to be excellent for us to have the grandchildren stop over for a sleep over. The Lodge is well appointed and has everything needed for a great self-catering break. Looking forward to returning in 2025.
I really appreciate my time at while away lodge. The park is so friendly and quiet and lodges v warm comfortable and cosy.very homely but missed a log burner which some do have. Parking is fine with a car but slightly tight for my camper van .I parked in the car park as an alternative. We had to be carefull with The kitchen sink as it's easy to splash water on woodwork around it which needs to be wiped regularly. My friend burnt her hand on a saucepan handle which are crazily made of metal !! Apart from this, all was absolutely wonderfull! Thankyou so so much and for the support n frie...more
Park is easy to find and check in was painless , lodge is modern and ideal for a couple, tv takes some getting used to, but once you understand that it’s fine, the only real downside for us was how open and in view you are on your decking and in your hot tub, I like to be in my own little bubble some times so some screening from the lodge opposite or passing cars or people would be beneficial, this would be the reason I have not to book this lodge again perhaps others on the park are more private
We had a four night stay in Mulberry Lodge. The location is a great for visiting Cheder and Wells. The lodge itself is immaculate. Great kitchen with everything you need. Everything just worked, kettle, toaster, coffee machine with no problems. Cosy sofa and bed. Use the hot tub every morning and night. .Will be going back.
Wow...what a fantastic place to stay. Very modern interior which was very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Lovely hot tub! Well located with a short stroll to the cider barn, a short drive to the local brewery, and only 5 minutes drive to the fantastic Cheddar Gorge. We will return!
Booked for my 40th birthday and we had a great time, the cabin was spotless and location all fab too.
