We were honestly wowed when we walked in. The presentation of the accommodation was stunning and every little detail had been thought about carefully. It provided a homely, yet modern feel with everything you could need after a day exploring the surrounding area, especially the hot tub! Before the first day ended, we had already discussed coming back here next year!
Beautiful lodge, had everything you would need. Loved the welcome pack & also the dogs pack! The cider barn right on your doorstep was just perfect to be able to try local cider at night after a day out exploring the local area.
Our 2nd stay at Strawberry Field Park and again we weren't disappointed. The lodge was very comfortable with everything you could need to make it feel like home while staying there. Cleanliness was exceptional and having the hot tub was great for relaxing. Very comfortable bed and new sofa. Such a peaceful location for a relaxing break away.
This our third visit to the park and I think Honeyhurst was our favourite lodge so far! Lovely spacious layout, big comfy bed and plenty of space for the children to play on the decking outside! Views and surrounding area of cheddar is amazing and I’m sure this won’t be our last visit! x
This was our fourth time staying at Strawberry Fields and our first time staying in Pomegranate Lodge. Everything was first class from the moment we opened the front door. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. there is more than enough space for two people. The surroundings are very quiet so it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We particularly liked the covered starlit veranda. It was a great place to sit whatever the weather. It was in fact our favourite breakfast spot. Our only complaint would be that we couldn't stay longer. We look forward to returning soon.
We had a wonderful stay at Orchard lodge. It was extremely clean, comfortable, very peaceful and private. We loved the hot tub which was ready to use when we arrived. We also loved relaxing under the star lit canopy. Just along the road is a strawberry farm where we bought delicious Somerset strawberries - yum! Cheddar is very near by and we enjoyed visiting the gorge and seeing the wild goats scrambling around the rock face. Had a really nice 4 night stay in Cheddar Pink. The layout is perfect and the beds are the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. The hot tub was made full use of and there were plenty of amenities within the lodge. The only slight complaint was that there was a really damp smell that came from one of the bathrooms meaning we had to keep the window open and the door shut to it to avoid the smell spreading round the lodge and the cleanliness wasn’t as to a high a standard as last time we came. Beautiful Lodge in a peaceful park, great location most things within 30 mins drive inc the coast. We loved tbe hot tub aswell. Would definitely stay here again.
This was our second stay at Strawberry field Park. The first time we stayed at Pomegranate and this time we stayed at Combe Hay. Both lovely lodges but felt that Combe Hay hadn't been completely checked for little things such as the fridge had been turned off at the wall so the milk had gone off by the time we had used it. There was a noticeable hole in the bedroom carpet; one of the blinds was missing in the kitchen which overlooked the driveway and some of the mugs hadn't been washed/cleaned properly so had to put those through the dishwasher again. We had an amazing stay and the lodge was a lot bigger than expected. The beds were really comfortable, the outside decking area had plenty of seating and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Would definitely visit again. The fresh milk and cans of cider on arrival was a very nice touch too.
Third visit with another visit booked. If your looking for a cosy lodge that has everything. Then these lodges are some of the best on offer in somerset. I have booked many lodges other the last 7 years but since my first stay in 2033, I have kepted returning, whether that be with family or friends. Everyone has enjoyed the stay.
Great stay in Pamela's Meadow lodge. Great space for a small family. All the things you need to be comfortable. Great outdoor space including the hot tub. Lots of local places to go and visit. We particularly enjoyed Cheddar. Would return to Strawberry Park!
This was our 2nd stay at Strawberry Fields. The accommodation is stunning and the location is beautiful. The staff were all very helpful and sorted out an outside table for us without any fuss. We will definitely be back next year. I would high recommend booking to anyone.
We stayed here for our anniversary with our dog, Monday to Friday. We booked the early check In & the late check out. Deer leap lodge as its own pathway & garden. It's very spacious & it was so clean. A welcome pack, with towels & cidar, towel & biscuits for the dog, was a nice touch on arrival. Everything from the bed being so comfortable, the starlit area, & the hot tub being ready & checked every morning, we will be returning, liked that it was private & relaxing, everything is so perfect, didn't want to leave, highly recommend coming here
Very impressed with the lodge, I didn’t expect it to be so big and spacious, community and area is very inviting and friendly. My only wish is to have a TV in the bedroom or by the jacuzzi.
Had a lovely time, hot tub was great and enjoyed the comforts the lodge offered. The cider barn was a nice touch if you fancied sampling the local cider!. Overall very nice location and facilities at Strawberryfield Park.
We have a wonderful stay at Cedar Lodge with our 2 young children. The lodge was super clean and tidy when we arrived and looked exactly as advertised online. It was really easy to find too thanks to the easy to understand directions sent to us prior to our arrival. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. We would thoroughly recommend this lodge, as well as the complex as a whole, to anybody.
We had a wonderful week staying in Nyland Lodge. It was the perfect location to celebrate our Anniversary. The lodge is beautiful and spotlessly clean and the hot tub was amazing.
This was our first time staying at Strawberryfield Park and I can hand on heart say that we'll definitely be coming back. The lodges are beautifully decorated, so relaxing, more than just a home from home. Everyone that we met were so friendly and helpful. The surrounding area had lots to see and do. Just a perfect holiday!
Second visit to Strawberry Field. Would visit again. Lovely lodge, ticks so many boxes and pleases on many. Fabulous hot tub was well used. Kitchen well equipped. Double bed needs a mattress replacement, far from comfortable so my comfort score has to reflect that otherwise would of been fill score.
This is the fourth lodge we have stayed in at Strawberry field park and everything was excellent as ever. We would have liked to have had a shelf in the shower to put our shower gel/shampoo on rather than having to keep them on the floor and although the tv sounded great through the speakers we found that it didn't work very well with netflix and iplayer. The instructions in the welcome pack were misleading. Plus the tv takes a long time to come on and kept switching itself off .
Our stay in Mulberry Lodge was so relaxing. The accommodation was just perfect with everything and more that you could possibly need. The hot tub was great to have. The site is in a great Location to be able to go exploring. It's also very quiet and peaceful.
Booked for my 40th birthday and we had a great time, the cabin was spotless and location all fab too.
Great stay at The Retreat Strawberry Field …excellent lodge with everything you could need. Purchased the BBQ meat pack which was good value for money . Bottle of wine water & biscuits left in the lodge which was a nice touch …..only criticisms ……guest information folder was comprehensive but did not have instructions on how to use the TV which we found complicated …outside area needs cleaning & when going again would choose a lodge on the Orchard side of the park due to road noise on the Avenue
