We stayed for 7 days in the Spinney lodge at the beginning of September. Luckily had fantastic weather so spent a lot of time relaxing ont the large decking area and in the sunken hot tub. The lodge is quite roomy and well equipped with high quality tech. I'd recommend Strawberryfield Park to anyoneooking for a luxury, peaceful break in lovely surroundings
Amber Lodge was a fantastic place to escape to for a weekend. Peace and quiet, able to really relax for the first time in a while. Great walks around Cheddar Gorge, also recommend La Rocca Italian restaurant - phenomenal. Can't say enough good things about the lodge, comfy bed, all the kitchen stuff we could need and a hot tub that you can soak in under the stars...
We stayed at Cheddar Pink for 4 nights, a high-class lodge, lovely accommodation, huge shower and I particularly appreciated the separate dressing area in the bedroom with mirror and table which actually had a plug next to the mirror for my hairdryer! The hot tub was fab and for October the weather was pretty nice so spent a lot of time in it. I would agree with other reviewers about the voiles in the living area if you were staying in summer, they really do need some blinds putting up and the so-called high specification TV is not all that great but these are minor issues.
Great stay in orchard lodge from start to finish everything you need for a quite relaxing break great location with great service. Would highly recommend.
We stayed at Combe Hay for 4 nights this Autumn, this was our second time staying with StrawberryField Park and it did not dissapoint. The lodge was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed to make our stay special. Absolutely loved the hot tub which we used every day. The facilities are great with a lovely dog walk down at the orchard. Thank you for another wonderful stay
Our second stay at Strawberryfield Park. Well appointed, peaceful and relaxing location. Look forward to our next visit.
We arrived on a Friday and were pleased to find a bottle of wine, tea bags, coffee pods, biscuits and 1 pint of milk to get us up and running. We'd arranged.for a shop to be delivered as we wanted to chill out in the lodge, when we opened the oven it was clear it hadn't been cleaned properly and the cleaning function programme was flashing on the display. We gave it a clean as best we could and ran the programme which meant we ate later than planned as it took an hour. There was dishwasher tablets and cleaning cloths provided but no washing up liquid but we bought some as were not sure i...more
Having stayed on the park less than a month ago, we spontaneously booked Pomegranate at the last minute due to a great weather forecast. We also booked the early checkin to make the most of the short break and were in the hot tub by 2pm. This lodge is so stylish and it’s room layout different to other lodges we have had in previous visits. As in all the lodges, it was immaculate, well furnished and the hot tub ready and bubbling. We used it 6 times in our weekend stay. Perfect weekend.
This would of been a 5 star review but on arrival I had to ask for descaler to descale the kettle as it was disgusting also there was a broken bed Slat under the main bed. Then on the second day one of the sun loungers was unsafe to use. These issues were dealt with very quickly, but shouldn't of been an issue to start with. The location/park is lovely and we stayed in Peppers Lodge which was nearest to the Cider Barn. We would go again but would hope that the issues we faced didn't occur again. Would like to have more outdoor lighting (security lights) as even at night/getting dar...more
The lodge was very clean and as good as the photos of it on the website. Everything has been thought about meticulously for you to have an enjoyable and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.
Another lovely time in Pamela's Meadow. Good customer service as there was no hairdryer in the lodge but one arrived in 10 mins from call. We enjoy the peaceful outlook and a few pints at the cider barn. Even managed a trip to Thatchers Farm, which I would recommend.
Accommodation was spacious and spotless. Deer leap has it own little pathway and garden surrounds. It was very private almost slightly away from other lodges. It is at the top of the park so could hear the road and cider barn but to be honest it didn’t really bother us. If you want quiet choose a lodge further down. Saying that we absolutely loved our lodge. We had the best holiday and the lodge was luxurious! We visited the cider barn which is very quirky but had a selection of delicious cider’s! I loved our stay and and the hotub. The enclosed huge decked area was a bonus for our dog. I will...more
Choosing Batcome Hollow as our mini getaway location was the best idea! When we arrived we were in disbelief about how beautiful the lodge was as well as amazed at the recommendations the staff left us to do to enjoy our holiday! I would definitely recommend these lodges to anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
Lovely lodge to stay in and would like to come back as we didn’t get time to explore everywhere we wanted to in the area. Next time we may go for a lodge which has a roof over the hot tub as we didn’t really get to use it due to the rain. (Or would be good for a retractable canopy/pergola to be provided). The heated bathroom mirror was amazing, never seen anything like that before. One of the patio doors didn’t lock, the staff were aware, this is the only reason for a point off on condition. For some this may be a security worry but we were not overly concerned. Although it would also be g...more
We had such a lovely time. Everything was very clean. The location was perfect, not far from Bristol, Bath, Clarks Village and Cheddar Gorge caves were just 5 minutes away. The hot tub was also a lovely treat. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend this place to stay.
One of the best places to have a mini break. The lodge is superb and if I could live in it, I would move there now. The only thing that bothered us slightly was that part of the hedge has been cut back revealing more of the road and making the hot tub facility less private. Apart from that, it was so nice to switch off and relax after a busy week, in such a lovely place.
Great location to relax, walk the dog and a bit of site seeing. Wells, bath ,Bristol and the coast. Cheddar just up the road. Accommodation to a really high standard.
We stayed at 'The Levels' on our last visit and, as expected, it was faultless. The design was beautiful, the bathroom stunning and the outside area beautiful. This is our 4th visit to Strawberryfield Park and every visit has always been the same. The attention to detail is excellent, the designs of each lodge are stunning and the overall experience is second to none. Every detail from the layout to the comfort of the bed is 5 star. Whether it is winter or summer, the experience of staying here is absolutely fantastic. We have another 2 bookings in the diary for this year, and will continue to...more
Great location for exploring Chedder and Wells. Lodge clean and tidy with everything you need .Spa and outside area , a great space to relax . Only negative the bed was lumpy and pillows.to soft.
Mulberry Lodge was so comfortable, cosy and had a well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was an added bonus and made it extra special. Strawberry Field Park was a great location to see all the local sights of Cheddar, Wookey Hole and Wells. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Thank you!
Our lodge was lovely, clean and modern with everything we needed. We used the hot tub every day, and think the price is very reasonable for having a hot tub included. great location only a short drive to our days out to Glastonbury, cheddar gorge, wooky hole and wells
This was our 3rd visit this year. A great relaxing week.very peacefull Will definitely be back next year
Booked for my 40th birthday and we had a great time, the cabin was spotless and location all fab too.
I booked 4 nights in the retreat lodge as a suprise for my relatives from Germany and we were not disappointed, the lodge was very clean and well equipped and the Jacuzzi was fantastic. The staff are very freindly and helpful.strawberry fields is located just 5 minutes drive from Cheddar gorge.I will definately return for more of the 5* experience on offer here.
