We haven’t been back to Strawberryfield Park for a few years - and haven’t stayed in this lodge before - but only minutes after arriving, it feels like we’ve returned home!
We’d booked pretty last minute directly with the team for a half term break with our children and they were so helpful.
Peppers is a great lodge - and conveniently close to the cider barn too. All the luxury amenities you’d hope for.
Only small niggle is the lack of lighting outside the front up to the cider barn/road.

We fell in love with Strawberry Field Park as soon as we stepped into our lodge. We had come for a few days away to relax with our 2 children after the craziness of Christmas & then getting married on the 30th of Dec, so this was our family-moon. The lodge was spacious, cosy, comfy and clean. We couldn't fault it. We loved it so much, before leaving we have booked to come back at the end of the year for our 1st wedding anniversary and New Year. The hot tub was lush & the kids had a whale of a time, usually in it every morning by 9am. The cider barn on site is lovely with quirky alcoholic drinks & the pizzas where gorgeous. We also went to The Bath Arms in Cheddar which was 10/10. Highly recommend both. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we cannot wait to come back in Dec and stay in a different lodge, just to have a variety.

This would of been a 5 star review but on arrival I had to ask for descaler to descale the kettle as it was disgusting also there was a broken bed Slat under the main bed.
Then on the second day one of the sun loungers was unsafe to use. These issues were dealt with very quickly, but shouldn't of been an issue to start with.
The location/park is lovely and we stayed in Peppers Lodge which was nearest to the Cider Barn. We would go again but would hope that the issues we faced didn't occur again.
Would like to have more outdoor lighting (security lights) as even at night/getting dark it would of been nice to sit outside.

Please accept our apologies that you were disappointed with parts of your stay.
Due to being in a very hard water area it sometimes proves tricky to keep kettles completely scale free. We appreciate that this was not ideal, and ensured that we dealt with this within 5 minutes of you reporting the issue.
With regards to the bed slat; this was not noted by housekeeping and was not reported by yourself until day 2 of your holiday. We communicated with you straight away and offered for the maintenance team to take a look and fix immediately to which you declined and said it did not affect your sleep. They looked at the lounger straight away for you.
I will pass your comments referencing more outdoor lighting on to the maintenance team for review, thank you for the suggestion.
We tried to catch up with you upon departure in person (as we do with all guests), to which you declined.
We are pleased that the rest of your stay was lovely and relaxing and that you had plenty of sunshine.

This was our first time visiting and I have to say we was not disappointed the place is so tranquil and all the lodges have been carefully planned out to give each guest the upmost privacy. They are definitely top end lodges with the added luxuries we could not recommend this place more if you are looking for a hideaway which is close to lots of local attractions thank you to all the staff that made our stay special and unique

Stayed as a family of 4 in this really well appointed and comfortable lodge. It had everything we could have asked for including a fab hot tub. It couldn’t have been better in terms of location for exploring Cheddar Gorge, nearby Wells and Wookey Hole.

We had a wonderful time staying at Strawberry Field Park and exploring the many beautiful places near by. A perfect place for a relaxing weekend break or a longer stay with more time to enjoy what Somerset has to offer.
The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful views from the deck and a fabulous hot tub.

What a wonderful relaxing place to stay. Used the hot tub every day. Had a massage from Jo (you can book her through the website) it was amazing - i was so chilled all day and my mum was in her element. Would definitely be returning here it was magical. So many places to visit nearby too, we went to Wells on Wednesday where they have a fantastic Farmers Market. Just Excellent.

Enjoyed our stay at peppers lodge so much! Didn’t want to come home. Had everything we needed for the week. Lodge was clean and hot tub was checked daily. No complaints at all, can’t wait to come back to Strawberryfield Park in August!

Really loved peppers lodge. The outside area is private and massive - imagine it’s very lovely in summer time, unfortunately rained a little when we were there but that didn’t stop us from going in the hot tub! The owners have thought of everything and the complimentary tea coffee and milk went down very well after a long journey. The cabin was very clean and well laid out. The beds were really comfy too! There was a little noise from the cider barn on the Friday evening but nothing late. Lovely location and views. We travelled to Cheddar, Street, Wells and Glastonbury which were all very nice and max 30 mins in the car. We had to leave a night early but phoned up the on call team who were very polite and answered straight away. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back.

Cannot fault Peppers Lodge, everything was perfect and I’m already looking forward to staying again in the summer and making use of the BBQ. The hot tub was ready to use as soon as we arrived, and the robe and slippers was a welcome bonus. The lodge was warm and cosy, and we turned off the heating so we could use the lovely log burner for extra coziness! Very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed for a self catering long weekend. There was a bit of noise from the Cider Barn on the Saturday night, but it didn’t go on late into the night and it didn’t disturb our stay. Definitely recommend.

The lodge was a last minute book, for a few days of family time. The lodge is immaculate, furnished to a high standard, kitchen properly equipped, lovely hot tub. The local area is beautiful and the coast isn’t far either. Look forward to staying again.

This was our second stay at Strawberry Fields, and first stay at Peppers Lodge. Another amazing holiday. The lodges are all 5 star, the décor and facilities are fab, a real home from home. The hot tub was also a great addition. The setting and location of the park is great for exploring Somerset. Thanks you so much, we will certainly be planning a return in 2022.

This is our 2nd stay. Equally brilliant! Look forward to returning again. Had an issue with hot tub not heating, someone responded and sorted within five minutes! Everything you need for a luxurious break is thought of. Both times we have visited have been to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Look forward to seeing you next year.

Absolutely beautiful lodge ! Scenery was amazing , peaceful tranquil and the lodge was so comfortable with everything you needed ! Furnished to a high standard , outside space was also wonderful and the hot tub was just an absolute bonus !! We did have the weather on our side which made it even better ! Just returned home from a lovely stay in Peppers lodge. If you are looking to stay at Strawberryfield park this lodge is great especially if you have young children. The decking area is extremely big and there is also an area of grass for them to play on.

As a family we could not fault the lodge, however we did notice that the water supply had far too much Chlorine within it making the whole lodge smell of it, unfortunately it came to a point where we could not drink the water not even tea or coffee, we had to go out every time to the local cafe in order to have a drink. We also noticed that the sinks were slow emptying as if they were blocked. But apart from theses issues we had a wonderful stay

We first time visited this place and was not sure what to expect. But when entered, the place is spotless and fully cleaned to make you feel comfortable. The kitchen is well resourced. The hot tub is great and is in a private area with full privacy. You can sit on the patio and enjoy the sunset. Very near all major attentions. Great place and plan to book for a return trip in September.

The lodge was very comfortable and spacious and information in the welcome pack was clear and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The only slight downside were the number of crane flies (daddy long legs) probably in the bushes round the grounds which meant it wasn't possible to fully open windows which had to be left only slightly ajar to stop them flying in. Other than that we had a very enjoyable stay and there is plenty to do in the area. The proximity to the Cider Barn pub was very handy.

Excellent location, beautiful surroundings. Comfortable, spacious, clean. Added bonus that each lodge has its own little garden and barbecue area. Stayed 4 nights and would have stayed at least 7 nights because there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area and Bristol and Bath less than an hour’s drive, but the lodges were fully booked for all of July and August.

I booked Strawberry Field Park as a surprise for my wife after our holiday abroad was cancelled. I could not have asked for a better place to stay, my wife was over the moon with the surprise. The lodge was a home from home and the hot tub made it all that more special.
