Our 3rd time at Strawberryfield Park and first time in Burrington. Having previously stayed in Cheddar Pink, it's pretty much exactly the same except the decor.

All felt very high end and good quality inside, outside space very nice (though it rained a lot so we didn't use it as much). Hot tub very nice too, was hot when we arrived and we went in frequently.

This isn't a cheap option, but the cost is justified when the accomodation quality is this high.

Customer service consistently very good from the team, no issues to report.

We stayed in Burrington as a family of 3. We were instantly impressed with the appearance of the property, and the positioning within the site. The property was spotless, with top-range facilities. The beds were extremely comfy, and the outside space was excellent. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to try out the BBQ, but we spent a lot of time in the hot-tub. The temperature was fine for us, and we were not over-looked in any way so it was totally private.
The Cider Barn at the end of the site is welcoming and friendly - we tried a takeaway pizza and it was great. Cheddar is a very short drive away, and there were plenty of other attractions close by (Glastonbury, Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, Longleat and others).
I would highly recommend this property to others, and we look forward to returning.

What made you choose this particular lodge?
This lodge did not allow dogs, which we prefer. Also, it was at the end of the site so was very private.

It was lovely and quiet, which was just what we needed. The water pressure for the shower was too low. It was a lovely idea to supply a bottle of milk but unfortunately it was gone off. The lodge was well maintained and clean. Would definitely recommend and perhaps visit again without the children.

We had an amazing stay and the lodge was a lot bigger than expected. The beds were really comfortable, the outside decking area had plenty of seating and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Would definitely visit again. The fresh milk and cans of cider on arrival was a very nice touch too.

What made you choose this particular lodge?
The fact the lounge area faced out to the hot tub and the size of it.

The lodge was perfect for us, 2 gorgeous bedrooms and en-suite shower rooms which makes it even more fabulous.
The terrace and hot tub were magical and hearing the birds / sitting outside was amazing. The lodge itself was very spacious with a modern flow. Great location for Cheddar & Wells. I’ve recommended to friends and will definitely be back ..

This was our 10th stay on this wonderful park and we have been trying out many of the lodges. Of the 2 bedders we have tried, this had the best bedroom/dressing/bathroom combination with two identical setups, so no-one felt they had the lesser rooms. We could have hosted a massive party on the huge deck as there were 20 seats to choose from, but in the sun we would have liked a parasol to shelter.

This is the 3rd time visiting strawberry field park & the 2nd stay in Burrington lodge. As always a great lodge in a perfect location with everything you could possibly need. Super comfortable accommodation with all modern amenities.
Very close to Cheddar & the gorge but also a great base for exploring the area. Travelled to Longleat safari park, Bath, Glastonbury to name a few. You will not be dissapointed.....

We absolutely loved our stay at the Burrington. The lodge itself was pure luxury - everything was spotlessly clean and the decor was beautiful. It felt incredibly luxurious and inviting. One of the highlights for us was definitely the hot tub. It was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the area. The lodge was also very well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the customer service of the Strawberryfield Park team was great. We can't wait to visit again soon!

Recently stayed Mon- Friday in Burrington. We and several family members have stayed at different lodges at Strawberry Fields since discovering it back in 2021.All have been lovely but this one was certainly the nicest yet!We were due to stay in one of the other lodges but due to a problem Lucy offered us Burrington.A lovely, huge lodge at the bottom of the park overlooking the orchard and in the evening very private to enjoy the lovely hot tub.Whilst there we noticed that several of the lodges were undergoing work, repairs etc so clearly the owners are keen to keep up maintenance and improvements.Hopefully the park will remain a lovely special place to visit and enjoy for years to come in one of my favourite parts of the country.

Lovely lodge to stay in and would like to come back as we didn’t get time to explore everywhere we wanted to in the area.
Next time we may go for a lodge which has a roof over the hot tub as we didn’t really get to use it due to the rain. (Or would be good for a retractable canopy/pergola to be provided).
The heated bathroom mirror was amazing, never seen anything like that before.
One of the patio doors didn’t lock, the staff were aware, this is the only reason for a point off on condition. For some this may be a security worry but we were not overly concerned. Although it would also be good to have a bathroom door which actually closed and stayed closed. The sliding doors were not very practical.

This is our 3rd time at Strawberryfield Park and definitely won’t be our last. The lodge was beautiful, modern, spacious and had everything you could need. The location was perfect looking straight out to the orchard… and of course the hot tub was wonderful! The only tiny issue would be the cockerel that did wake us up very early every morning as they were very close to the lodge. This is our favourite staycation and will definitely be booking again. Thank you all for our wonderful break away x

Recently spent a week in Somerset having chosen Strawberryfield Park, and in particular Burrington Lodge, as our preferred accommodation. On arrival, the property was very well presented, as described and expected. It had been a sunny afternoon and with the amount of glass, the temperature was high inside the lodge, I believe this has been mentioned in a number of reviews. The hot tub was maintained unobtrusively by the park staff and to a high standard. Any interaction with the park staff was at our instigation and pleasant.
In summary, a place I would recommend.

This was our fifth visit to Strawberry Fields as always we enjoyed the relaxing in the hot tub and the peaceful surroundings. We may try a lodge next time that is more in the shade not complaining but it was rather hot!

This is our 3rd stay at SF Park, but first in Burrington & the first time for our 10yr old. We all needed a holiday to relax and unwind and we definitely got that. It’s a beautiful lodge with definite ‘Wow’ factor. The beds are extremely comfortable, with both kitchen and bathrooms finished to a high spec. We used the decking and hot tub area every afternoon to relax and eat outside after our days exploring and sightseeing. The site was lovely and quiet. Although the lodges are near each other, due to natural hedging/screening we didn’t hear anything. Staff at the site were all friendly and very attentive. If you have sunny weather though this lodge does/will get very hot due to its fully glass side wall and we did struggle with locking the patio doors. The Wi-Fi didn’t work very well at all, much to our 10yr olds annoyance, but we raised this with staff on leaving so hopefully it should be looked into. Upon leaving my son has already asked ‘When can we come again?’ - beautiful lodge on a lovely site, we will be back.

Just had a fantastic 3 night break at the Burrington. This was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed!! The accommodation if finished to the highest standard, the bed!!! Omg!! What is that mattress! It just eats you up.
Location is fantastic, supermarket very close and chedder village is 5 mins in the car, lovely Italian, cocktail bar, Thai and Indian as well as other pubs and cafes. We weren’t there long enough to try all but will definitely be back. Thank you

The views from the lodge were lovely. Great accommodation for 2 couples. We were 3 friends so the fact you couldn’t separate the bed and make into a twin was an issue for us.
Loving space not as big as other lodges.
Outdoor space huge - up to 20 people could sit comfortably but when there’s a max of 4 people in the lodge it was disproportionate.
Still loved it though. Return year after year trying out different lodges each time.

What a great find! We had a lovely family week here. The lodge was a delight - clean, spacious, fully equipped. It was nice and open plan which made it easy for everyone.
Excellent outside space and the hot tub was an added bonus.
We would recommend to all our friends and family and already considering a return stay!

My family and I have just returned from a weeks stay in the Burrington lodge.

Before arriving we had great communication from the management team and they were very helpful in recommending local restaurants and things to do during our stay.

The lodge itself is beautiful, over looking the orchard, spacious, spotlessly clean, has high end appliances, stunning bathrooms, comfy beds etc. The one thing that let it down was the bags of rubbish left outside the lodge by the cleaning team from the previous guests. It was removed by the end of the day but not what you expect to see after a long journey.

Our arrival co-insided with the country going through a heatwave. So on entering the lodge we were hit by intense heat. One side of the lodge is all glass so in the summer sun the lodge gets very hot. This probably isn't helped by the lodge having a living roof and at present it's missing soil and plants so the sun's rays are soaked up by the metal roof surface. Everyone we spoke to was suffering from the heat too. We understand the site has eco credentials and air con might not be ideal but it's a must in summer.

The outside terrace area is amazing with the added bonus of a hot tub. A sun shade is provided but more shade is required as the parasol only covers about a quarter of the terrace. Sadly no cushions are provided for the outside furniture which is such a shame as we would have made more use of it. A storage unit outside with cushions for the guests would be a nice touch I think.

The Burrington lodge is the furthest lodge away from the entrance of the site, which was brilliant for us. During our stay the cider barn (independent business) had live music 3 out of the 7 night we stayed playing loud music until 11pm or just after. We could hear the music from our lodge, but it didn't disturb us too much. For anyone that is staying on the park, check on the location of your lodge. If you are close to the entrance and want peace and quiet it might be something to look into. The park prides itself on being quiet, and has a noise policy but it's meaningless when it has a business close by playing loud music. I'm hoping the park tries to buy the cidar barn in the future to avoid any noise complaints from guests. It would make a beautiful cafe or restaurant for the site.

One other thing to mention is the chickens and general maintenance team. There's a chicken coop near the lodge. The 5am wake up call from the rooster wasn't great. Finally, the maintenance team keep the park in perfect condition but do randomly appear on your outside terrace to water the plants or to check the hot tubs etc. Not ideal if you're looking for privacy. We would have welcomed them into the lodge if they knocked on the door first.

The comments and suggestions stated above shouldn't put anyone off this park. It really is a beautiful site in a beautiful part of the country. I'm just hoping the management team of the site see our comments and implement some changes. It will just add that extra level of detail required to make this site truly special.

Fantastic accommodation. Very modern with everything you’ll need for your stay. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. Good size hot tub. Quiet location. Clean and comfort. Plenty of space.

Only negative was the bins. You’re asked to separate out recycling and waste, which is obv fine, but when you take to the bins all the recycling and waste is mixed together so pointless separating.

Good location comfortable beds and was exceptionally clean upon arrival.

The weather and set up of Burrington Lodge spoiled our particular week. Oddly Burrington Lodge and home adjacent are only to homes on site to lack blinds (just net curtains) with the whole living accommodation being south west facing it was like living in a conservatory Couldn’t even see TV.

To be fair our week had no clouds and was 27-30 degrees. Felt sorry for the next people as the following week started as a heatwave.

So my feelings would be much different if the weather was more cloudy. Or if the owner bought blinds.

We've just come home from a lovely week's stay at Strawberryfield Park.
Our lodge Burrington was stunning & so comfortable.
Our friends stayed in Chedder Pink with their children, it was fantastic they had the orchard to play in. Each morning they could not wait to get out there & play.
For us the hot tub was amazing & the decking area was a lovely relaxing area
We could have stayed all summer!!! Thank you to everyone who made our stay so lovely.

Our second visit here & had a wonderful weeks stay. Love Burrington lodge with its spacious outdoor areas overlooking the orchard. Inside is just as spacious with large open plan kitchen top notch kitchen dining area and lounge. 2 super king sized bedrooms with dressing areas and fully en-suite.
Ordered the bbq pack prior to our visit delivered from local butchers..delicious
Had take out pizzas from the cider barn..and the blokes enjoyed a few drinks there too.
Strawberry field is perfectly situated a couple miles from cheddar where there’s a few shops and a sainsburys if u need a good stock up shop.
We visited Wells(beautiful) Bath, Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Bristol & harbour & of course the cheddar caves and walked the gorge. Was lovely coming back to the lodge to soothe our weary legs in the hot tub at the end of the day . Highly recommend

I stayed in the lovely Burrington Lodge for my Special birthday celebrations with 3 friends.
It was great to relax in the hot tub and sit outside in the peaceful countryside.
There was a knack to locking the patio doors by jiggling them which we soon discovered but that didn’t detract from our stay.
The lodge was clean and had everything we required.
Well worth a visit.

The place to be when whilst the world still spins relaxation in a jar just open the door of the Burrington and the whole world stops.
A wonderful time spent with family and looking forward to our future trips here.

All very good but when we did have issues we were unable to get hold of anyone to help us. Lights in bedroom weren’t working and tv went haywire but generally good accommodation and well appointed.

Our forth visit. Never disappoints. Always spotless and we always say “WOW” as we enter the lodge. Hot tub is heaven. Best of all it’s peaceful and a very relaxing break.

This lodge was a surprise for my boyfriend's 21st birthday, and he absolutely loved it. It was the perfect little getaway, 5 stars all round ⭐️. Will definitely be returning in the summer!

Our fourth time to Strawberry Park, but first time to Burrington. Standard of the lodge was in keeping with what we has experienced before. As its marketed at the 'high end' several elements really hit the spot - the Jacuzzi was well used and the huge beds were very comfortable. For a lodge only 2 years old it was a little disappointing to see a couple of wear and tear issues - the sliding doors into both bathrooms were defective and the dish washer lower basket had lost 2 wheels which made for un-easy loading. Overall an enjoyable trip to Somerset and hope to be back in the future

Burrington lodge was our 3rd say at the park, the lodge has a lovely view, is very well laid out, well equipped and overall a beautiful place to stay. Our only issues were, the heating, the lodge sometimes felt very chilly and the heating is not easy to control like central heating. The other was the bathroom doors in both the en-suites, they are sliding doors that are almost like shower doors, they didn’t lock and sometimes would slide back open so didn’t offer much privacy. For these reasons we probably wouldn’t stay at Burrington again but definitely would stay at Strawberryfeild park just in a different lodge.

My guests and I had a lovely stay at Burrington and I can’t fault the place or location at all if there was a thing I could change it would be the sheer curtains in the front of the lodge these make it hard to chill in the day and watch tv because the glare from the sun is too bright other than that such a great time so relaxing and just what we all needed after a hectic time at work this year thank you very much

On arrival, easy check in, key left in the door, waiting for you. Walked in and instantly amazed by what you actually get for your money. From the cleanliness, the design/thought, to the quality and standard it’s all been built. We had a terrace with hot tub over looking an orchard, with the rolling hills in the background. Peaceful and private with amazing views. Spent most of the weekend in the hot tub.
Frequented the Cider Barn few times for some locally brewed ciders, and visited Cheddar Gorge for an afternoon (which is only a 10 minutes drive away) to stock up on cheese and crackers.
We were 2 couples for weekend break, but at the end of our stay, all wished we could of stayed longer.

The lodge was everything we expected, quality furnishings and exceptionally clean. The hot tub was a bonus and was used every day as we were very fortunate with the weather.
The Park was well kept and maintained and the lighting on the pathways was very useful however the main road could benefit from tarmac.
Our only issue was the front of the lodge had three double doors which obviously made the rooms seem very light however, on very sunny days the rooms got so hot as there were no blinds to block out the heat.
We would definitely recommend the Park.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Burrington, Strawberry Field Park. The lodge was beautifully designed, with a lovely contemporary feel. The bedrooms were both spacious and the bathrooms the best we've experienced on a UK holiday.
Loved the huge terrace and jacuzzi with plenty of seating.
The cleaning was exemplary.
The complex is really peaceful but there's plenty to do in the area.
We will definitely be back!

This is our second time of staying at the Strawberryfield Park lodges, fabulous accommodation, luxurious, spotlessly clean, and well thought through, having everything you need for a wonderful relaxing holiday. The site is situated well with Cheddar only a couple of miles away and Wells in the other direction. We visited Bath, Longleat, Haynes Motor Museum, and several beautiful gardens including The Bishop's Palace. We also found some beautiful scenic walks nearby. With the added good weather, we have had an enjoyable holiday, infact we have already booked for next year. We can highly recommend Strawberryfields Park, nothing is too much bother and any queries answered promptly and helpfully. Even the local Bus service was spot on if you don't fancy driving and paying parking fee's. Plus a wonderful Hot tub to relax in before our daily BBQ, what more could you ask for ?

Wow...absolutely enjoyed our stay at Strawberry Fields Park and Burrington lodge way exceeded our expectations. Spacious and beautifully designed both inside and out & overlooking the mendips.
All the lodges seem to be positioned so you are not completely overlooked so it was a lovely place to chill in the evenings with a bbq,glass of wine& a dip in the hot tub.
Customer service was excellent
Booked a return visit for next year & can’t wait!

We booked a week away in the Burrington lodge and it was insane. The location was stunning, so much to do for all ages etc and we had the most amazing stay. The staff were lovely , we will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much :)

Had an absolutely fabulous time here. They have pretty much thought of everything. Such a high standard lodge. Loved the decor. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. I loved the layout of the bedroom, so spacious and loved the pocket sliding doors on the ensuites.
Kitchen was high spec with good appliances. We enjoyed making cocktails and sitting at the island. They had given us a little stock of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, etc, bottle of water, biscuits and even some milk in the fridge.
The hot tub and terrace were unreal. It was massive with really nice furniture. My friend and I did an exercise class on the terrace overlooking the orchard one morning as the sun was rising. It was just perfect.
As you can probably tell I loved our stay and would 100% go back. There were only a couple of things I would suggest to improve further but didn't affect our stay. A coffee machine, I believe some lodges already have coffee machines but this one didn't. As there we 4 of us, we couldn't get up and make a cup of coffee as the kettle whistled loudly and we didn't want to wake one another. But like I said didn't affect your stay.no biggie.
A fire pit would have been awesome, to keep us warm when were not in the hot tub and would have looked so good on the spectacular terrace.

Stayed Monday - Friday in the Burrington lodge with my partner, brother & sister in law.
On arrival the bedrooms did smell like someone had used the toilet but apart from that everything about it was perfect!! So relaxing and the location could not be in a better place.
Highly recommend to family and friends

We’ve stayed previously at the Spinney and as our daughter and son in law we’re accompanying us we decided on the Burrington. It is quite simply a stunning lodge with all the home comforts and more.The bedrooms are extremely large and the beds are so big you could sleep 4 people in them . The en-suite are fantastic with walk in showers . What was really nice was both bedrooms were identical so no one had to compromise on who had the best bedroom.
The kitchen had neff appliances which were top of the range .The televisions were also top notch and the furniture was superb . My wife has already decided to buy the rug and floor standing lamp for our home.
The hot tub was a delight and at 37 degrees was a delight.
My daughter intends to return with her friends in the near future as will we.
The site and lodges are simply superb the best we’ve ever stayed in .

A fantastic property in a great location with so many features. The hot tub was a great experience especially on a night looking up at the stars. The beds were extremely comfy and the size of the lodge was very spacious, could not fault anything with it. Close to Cheddar and only a short drive to Wells to see the stunning cathedral.
Would definitely look to stay here again in the future.

My second stay at Strawberryfield Park did not disappoint. It is located beautifully with so much to do in surrounding areas you won’t be bored. Attention to detail is always spot on in these lodges. We booked our third stay before we had even left and I am already counting down the days! If you are considering this place then please book, you will not be disappointed.

On the eve of taking my partner to Prague we were hit by the covid-19 issues and I so happened to stumble across strawberry fields as a back up and wow, incredible. Not only was this a fantastic back up, but I think this will now be a retreat we visit frequently. What a stunning lodge, perfect setting, and the little added touch of the hamper was just enough to make me believe this was the place to keep coming back to.

We stayed at Strawberry park lodges in the Burlington lodge. We walked in and it was amazing, all top quality furniture and spotlessly clean.Great big rooms with amazing showers.
The outside area had loads of wooden furniture to enjoy the stunning views of Cheddar and the Hot Tub was so ideal to make our stay so enjoyable and relaxing.
We received a quality Hamper and sat outside eating scones cream and jam in the sunshine.
We will definitely be coming back
