Bright, clean, very comfortable. Hot tub was fab.
Everything you need is there and the thoughtful touches of tea coffee milk, bottle of wine on arrival, really lovely.
We have been here 3 times now and love the place so much we are already looking to book for next year.

We have stayed at Strawberry Fields quite a few times now and really love it. My friend Sue and I were born and brought up in Somerset so it’s a good base for seeing friends and family. The only thing that was annoying this time was the television. It might be us but it kept going off, it did it during Strictly Come Dancing and let me tell you the air was blue. That’s the only moan I have, other than that it was great.

What made you choose this particular lodge?
We love it.

This was my second visit to Strawberry Fields and it lived up to all my expectations.
A beautiful lodge with great views with every creature comfort you could ask for.
The staff are so friendly and helpful in every way and go the extra mile to ensure the guests have a memorable stay.
We had really good weather and watching the sun go down over the orchard / fields was just magical.
The lodge has everything you could wish for and we were sad to say goodbye.
Two things for sure, firstly we had a wonderful stay with many memories and secondly we will be back.
Thank you to the team at Strawberry Fields for making this such a lovely stay, keep up the good work and see you again .

Had a really nice 4 night stay in Cheddar Pink. The layout is perfect and the beds are the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. The hot tub was made full use of and there were plenty of amenities within the lodge. The only slight complaint was that there was a really damp smell that came from one of the bathrooms meaning we had to keep the window open and the door shut to it to avoid the smell spreading round the lodge and the cleanliness wasn’t as to a high a standard as last time we came. There was dirt on the lights hanging above the kitchen island, dirty crockery in the cupboards and there was some obvious signs of wear and tear (front door had cracks in it and the tiles in the bathroom were cracked). Didn’t detract from a lovely stay though and we’ll definitely be back

We stayed for 4 nights in Chedder pink but wish it was longer! Everything was perfect and they have thought of everything. The beds were the comfiest we have ever slept in a lodge. The lodge is high quality and loved all of the lighting to add that extra touch too. The dressing areas were a great bonus for our tweens! It’s rare we have stayed somewhere where we think it’s nicer than home but Cheddar pink was that. We will definitely be back.

Children chose it because of the dressing areas and the colour pink!

We stayed Monday to Friday, two adults and two children aged 7 and 11. Cheddar Pink was perfect for us.
The accommodation exceeded our expectations and has been the nicest we have ever stayed in, so much so the children were FaceTiming friends and family within 10 minutes of our arrival giving them a tour!
We cannot wait to return to such a beautiful place with outstanding accommodation.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cheddar Pink. Accommodation was spacious and clean. Some areas are looking a little tired eg faded cushions and a hole in the bedroom carpet - nothing major.

Just for information the parking space is not directly next to the lodge - not an issue really apart from when unpacking on arrival. The freezer needs defrosting and there are only small saucepans nothing really big enough to make a good casserole or curry.

During our stay there was a visit to the woodland area by a visiting school. It would have been good to know as we had chosen that morning to enjoy a relaxing morning around the hot tub - not so relaxing when there are 30 excited primary school children visiting!

We visited the Cider Barn - food was good although the venue is fairly 'rustic'. We had a takeaway later in the week and the order was messed up and we ended up with cold food and a incorrect pizza.

Visited previously and was convenient for a sporting fixture in Bristol.

Thank you for your review and feedback, we have looked in to points raised. The local school asked if they could walk through the grounds and take a look at some wildlife in the Orchard. It was a spur of the moment visit and we like to help out in the local community. The children stayed 25 minutes and we assumed that guests would be happy for them to explore and have fun for a short amount of time. We are sorry if this was a misjudgement on our part and f it caused you any inconvenience.

We've been to Strawberryfield Park several times now, and we've just re-booked. We absolutely love it, from the comfort and luxury of the lodges to the beauty of the setting. There's nothing nicer than relaxing in the hot tub to the sound of birds, or the sight of bats in the late evening. It's so convenient for lovely villages and places to visit, and close to the beautiful city of Wells. There are great walks and there is so much nature to enjoy. The staff are all incredibly helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We cannot recommend Strawberryfield Park too highly.

My friend Sue and I have now been many times to Strawberry Fields. We both come from Somerset so it’s great for us. It’s a lovely place to stay and we’ve booked again for this year and next year. We love the hot tub.

The Lodge was beautiful, everything done to a very high standard, the beds were so comfortable! All the little extras for the kitchen were so helpful, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and cannot wait to come back! Great value for money, considering how beautiful the Lodge was. Lovely location. Turned up it was beautiful there. I think the price of the place is okay for 4 people. I think these can fit more then 4 people in which would be nice for bigger families
But overall it’s beautiful and relaxing

Really enjoyed our stay.
Timber decking could use a clean, slippy in winter.
Lack of on site facilities means a need to drive to seek entertainment, but perfect for a quiet retreat.

We stayed at Cheddar Pink for 4 nights, a high-class lodge, lovely accommodation, huge shower and I particularly appreciated the separate dressing area in the bedroom with mirror and table which actually had a plug next to the mirror for my hairdryer! The hot tub was fab and for October the weather was pretty nice so spent a lot of time in it. I would agree with other reviewers about the voiles in the living area if you were staying in summer, they really do need some blinds putting up and the so-called high specification TV is not all that great but these are minor issues.

We absolutely loved it and as an elderly couple who have travelled extensively and owned a holiday property overseas for many years, we are very much aware how challenging it is to satisfy everyone. I do not believe in posting negative reviews online but would like to highlight one problem that we had but also to say that it was resolved the next morning by very helpful staff. We had an issue with the heating in our lodge on our arrival at 4.15pm It was a particularly chilly day and the lodge was extremely cold with no heating on at all. When the delightful girl came to check all was ok, she simply put her head round the door and then headed off. We managed to call her back and she came in and switched on the radiators. However, they kept switching off and we were chilled to the bone. There were no instructions in your otherwise excellent folder and I tried phoning the number in the book. But because it was after 5pm everyone had gone home. We got colder and colder and actually used the hot tub to heat ourselves up which lasted a little while but we eventually went to bed at 9.30 as we were so cold. I phoned at 9am the following morning and the staff were fantastic. William came straight away and switched on the underfloor heating as well as resetting the radiators and someone else arrived with a portable heater which transformed our lodge. The reason for this long winded story is to point out that people arriving at 4 pm and your staff leaving at 5pm, does not give nearly enough time for you to be made aware of any problems. (not strictly true in our case as we had called the girl back to say it was cold in the lodge). I think over the cooler days ahead, you need to consider perhaps making sure every lodge is properly heated prior to arrivals and at least have someone on duty after 5pm in case anyone has an issue.

Once we were warmed up, we were extremely happy with the comfort, layout and design of the lodge - in particular we thought the beds were especially good and bathrooms of a high quality as was bedding and towels. Being elderly and picky we would have liked a teapot especially as there was a Nespresso (we had brought some capsules just in case as no mention on the website) so were happy about that. There were also 2 other coffee makers so a bit strange no teapot but I would bring one from home next time!

All in all, a good trip despite the weather that could have been fantastic if there had not been the heating issue. Staff however deserve real praise for their helpfulness and how pleasant they were.

The member of staff you met on arrival was our lovely maintenance administrator, Sophie, who had spent the day trying to make sure heating was kicking in in the lodges as there was, as you said, a large drop in temperature that day. We are so sorry that it didn't kick in as expected. I knocked on your door half an hour after you had talked to Sophie to check in with you as I try to with most guests but there was no answer, sorry that we missed each other. There is an out of hours number in the welcome pack that would have got you though to the park owner that evening and he would have happily popped round to sort it for you for you. We will make sure that a tea pot is popped in the lodge, we agree that this is a necessity! It was really great to meet you both when I popped in with the lovely William the next morning, we are so pleased that the rest of your holiday was relaxing and that you enjoyed yourselves. We hope that we can welcome you back one day. Best wishes from all of the team.

My son had already stayed here (The Spinney) and so he recommended it.

Strawberry Fields Park is the perfect size with no overcrowding of lodges. I hope its kept that its kept that way.

We had a totally relaxing break where we could switch off completely. Plenty of nearby trips out if you choose to leave the lodge...but it can happily become a 'bubble' We went to Cheddar Gorge and visited Wells Cathedral which was amazing.

We stayed in Cheddar Pink which is a beautiful lodge.
Clean, great interior, kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable.
Lovely to have the hot tub (well maintained) and a massive decking area facing onto the orchard.

Good, well thought out landscaping around the site. Although in my opinion you can never have enough plants

Staff on hand if there were any issues....but there weren't any and a welcome visit on the day to make sure everything was OK.
All the little added touches....plants, ornaments, paintings, furnishings, good TV options....make it feel more special and that the owners have made an effort and actually care if you have a good break.

Only have a couple of small constructive suggestions ;
1. Net curtain on window at very end of living area would be good for privacy and shade from sun.
2. Oven needed a deep clean.
3. For future customers....you're surrounded by farms and fields so expect flies and bugs...take a fly zapper or spray.

We loved it here and will definetely be going back...and I have already recommended to friends and family
The only difficulty they are going to have is choosing WHICH lodge! All look lovely.

This is our second stay at Strawberry field and did not disappoint. As soon as you arrive - you feel the peace and quiet and landscape of the park makes you feel totally relaxed. The lodge we stayed in felt high end, with luxury fittings in the kitchen. Each bedroom had huge beds and great en-suites. The hot-tub is a perfect way to unwind after a day’s exploring Somerset. We would not hesitate to return for a third visit. Thank you to all the staff who are on site every day if you need them.

Strawberry fields is a hidden treasure. The lodges are much bigger in real life that portrayed in the photos.
Everything was spotless, the hot tub was amazing.
Lots of little extras like water on bedsides, towels, robes, milk in the fridge.
The kitchen has everything, so no need to overpack.
We will definitely be back.

This was our third stay at the Park.Cheddar Pink is a very large lodge and perfect for 4.We had our daughter and her partner staying and we all had a lovely relaxing stay.Everything you need is provided, although we did have to get used to boiling a kettle on the hob as there was no electric version.We did need to call on Customer service to tweak the under floor heating but they came and sorted this promptly.
There are a couple of suggestions which I think would improve stays in the lodge:-
1. A nest of tables because there is only one very small coffee table.The lack of occasional tables to put drinks on might encourage people to use the arms of the sofas and thus the potential for accidents!!!
2.The shower rooms were cold and only heated by a small towel rail on a timer.
3.The hot water in the shower took a considerable time to come through thus using more water than necessary
4.There was no filled cruet set which we had in both other lodges.We had to buy salt and a pepper grinder.
5.There are no blinds only voiles on the three massive floor to ceiling windows.This was fine for us but would imagine will be a problems in warm/ sunny weather.
Overall, the lodge is of a very high standard and with a few tweaks would be perfect☺️

Absolutely amazing stay once again at Strawberry Fields! Cheddar Pink is a spacious and gorgeous lodge! Me and my fiancé stayed with some friends over a long weekend and loved everything about this place. So quiet and peaceful but also a short drive away from plenty of things to do! Amazing place to stay for some peace in luxury. Can’t wait to stay again

We have found this lodge to be the best we've ever been to. The eco Lodge felt inviting from the moment we arrived. And it was prepared to a very high standard.

The little details were appreciated too like the welcome card, drinks by the beds.

The sofa layout, the extra throws allowing for 4 people to comfortably watch a movie.

We were most impressed by the extensive collection of kitchen utensils which helped with our Come dine with me competition over the course of the week.

We stayed over the Christmas period and it was amazing. The lodge and location were incredible. the lodge was very luxurious and my two daughters felt very posh, the site is exceptionally clean and tidy and well laid out, the welcome hamper sourced locally was a nice touch. the Christmas tree and card was also a very welcoming treat, all in all we had such a good time and none of us wanted to leave. Would definitely recommend and return without a doubt.

We stayed at Chrddar Pink for four days. From the moment we opened the front door we were wowed by how bright, airy and clean it was. All the furnishings were luxurious, including the towels.

Went we went out for a few hours, it was such a lovely place to come back to and relax. We couldn't fault anything. The views of the apple orchard from this lodge was so pretty. The whole site is well kept, clean, tidy and you don't feel cramped. Everyone is so respectful and friendly.

I highly recommend.

We stayed in Cheddar Pink for a week. The standard of accommodation is superb, the bedrooms and bathrooms were exceptional. Beds and sofas were comfy. Hot tub was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. We visited the Cider barn twice, very entertaining and friendly place, pizza was good too. We visited Cheddar, Wells and Weston Super Mare.would highly recommend.

Booking via telephone and Email was stress free. The chalet was exactly as described. We had a wonderful four night stay. Cheddar Village just a few minutes away by car.

Really lovely lodge which was perfect for a relaxing break away. Nice view of the orchard full of apples and plums whilst chilling in the hot tub.

Lovely interior well furnished. Only criticism is that the lodges could do with a lick of varnish. But other than this cannot fault I stay. Well recommended!

If you want a luxury base for your trip to Somerset then look no further.. StrawberryField Park is a great place to stay, with quiet considerate neighbours, a lovely clean hot tub and wonderful countryside views close to Cheddar. The customer service has always been excellent and the green credentials make you feel good about where you’re staying..

We have previously stayed at Strawberryfield Park in another lodge, which was lovely.
Cheddar Pink was a stunning lodge! Booked mainly for the lovely position at the end of the park overlooking the orchard. We had friends staying in Burrington and our children enjoyed the freedom of the outdoor space without us worrying they were disturbing other guests.
It was a perfect stay, lovely lodge, beautiful surroundings and everything you could wish for from a lodge holiday!

A stunning lodge in a beautiful part of the country with uninterrupted views of the countryside with beautiful sunsets from the amazing hot tub. Staff could not have been more helpful. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather when we stayed in March if you are coming in the summer months you may wish to choose a lodge with less glass but for us it was glorious. We will be returning. I can also recommend booking an in lodge massage with Jo. All in all a very relaxing & peaceful mid week break. Thank you.

This was our second time visiting the park and once again we were not disappointed. The location of the park is great for visiting Cheddar, Wells, Wookey, Glastonbury, Bath, or even the Jurassic coast and the year-round fresh strawberries available a couple of minutes away are a must! It was our first time staying in Cheddar Pink and it was well appointed, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a relaxing break. We found soaking in the secluded hot tub whilst stargazing the perfect way to unwind after a day adventuring. All-in-all, a perfect place to recharge your batteries and we will definitely be back.

Had a most delightful 4 night stay. Very relaxing and chilled. Nice and cosy and everything you want home from home. Cheddar pink is massive. Beds are so comfy. Walk in wardrobes and 2 beautiful en suites. Being family run the staff are exceptional. Go to the Cider Barn for amazing pizza and steak and a very warm welcome from Tom and his team. Look forward to going back.

Unfortunately it was too hot due to all of the glass. No shade outside to sit comfortably. The property needs parasols during summer months and aircon in the bedrooms as the temperature never dropped below 25degrees even at night.On one occasion when we returned from a visit out the temperature was showing 37 degrees and even with opening every patio door and windows we couldn’t get the temperature down to less than 31 degrees.

Cheddar pink is just amazing. . I came away with my Daughter as we both needed timeout from life and that we got. The lodge was clean, comfortable, relaxing and in such a fab area looking out on to the orchard. The sunset views were just stunning

We stayed at strawberryfield park for my birthday week. It was amazing from start to finish. The little touches of cold ciders in the fridge on arrival and fresh milk to the dishwasher tablets, tea towels, slippers, robes, the list goes on. All the little things that made our stay utterly amazing. We loved it so much we wanted to stay longer but the lodge was fully booked. The location was perfect, we visited bath, wells, shepton mallet, cheddar gorge, weston super mare, longleat and wookey hole. Finished off with relaxing in the hot tub every night. We are already looking at dates to come back next year. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, a real gem ❤️

Absolutely stunning!!!
For 2 mums that were just having a weekend away from their kids, it was absolutely perfect!
The cute pink accessories were the icing on top of the cake for us!
There was so much attention to detail.
There’s also so much to do close by! We went to wookey hole & went cave exploring, we climbed cheddar gorge & got to see wild goats! & The Cheese Company was the best cheese shop I’ve ever been to!
Overall it was perfect & we wouldn’t have changed a thing

Simply wonderful. Beautiful location, stunning views and fabulous lodges with hot tubs. Cheddar Pink was beautiful and our 7yr old was over the moon with her own walk in wardrobe and large ensuite.
Can't wait to visit again and perhaps try one of the other lodges although I have to say Cheddar Pink was pretty special and right next to the orchard. So chuffed to have found this place

This was our second visit to Strawberryfield Park, and this time we brought another couple along to experience it. We had a wonderful time (even if the weather refused to play ball!) and once again, left feeling relaxed and rested.

Had a little heating issue, but Mike was extremely responsive, and got it all sorted for us brilliantly quickly. Already talking about booking again for next year!

The site is beautiful and the lodge was very well equipped and perfectly situated. We relaxed in the hot tub whilst watching the most beautiful sunset. Very close to Cheddar Gorge and Wells, with lots of lovely little shops and pubs, we have already booked a return visit.
