5 star accommodation beautifully decorated ! Very spacious, clean and comfortable, nice touches like a bottle of wine left on the counter to toast our arrival ! Hot tub made the stay luxurious. Great little pub at the entrance to the site. that does take away food which was delicious. Short drive to Wells city which is stunning. Very peaceful location. Log burning stove made it very cosy in the evenings.

Recommended by a friend, and I chose this lodge for the decor

Pet friendly clean spacious cabin, with excellent cooking facilities and lovely outdoor space, including the excellent hot tub. Dealing with Strawberry Fields has been easy, they were really accommodating and supportive with a last minute request for a pet friendly cabin. We had a great stay.

This was our 6th visit to the Park this time with family and our little dog.The lodge is ideal for dogs with its fully enclosed and safe outside space.A comfortable lodge but showing signs of wear and tear, the sofa was uncomfortable and the coffee table had seen better days.Shelves were missing from the fridge door which made storing milk & bottles difficult.The television and controls are not intuitive or responsive and is frustrating to use.We were lucky we had tech savvy people with us! For winter/ wet weather stays there should be a mop left to clean floors especially for week long stays with pets.There is a vacuum cleaner though.
Even with a few niggles SFP is a lovely place to stay and I’ve booked again for next year in a different lodge.

This our third visit to the park and I think Honeyhurst was our favourite lodge so far! Lovely spacious layout, big comfy bed and plenty of space for the children to play on the decking outside! Views and surrounding area of cheddar is amazing and I’m sure this won’t be our last visit! x

This was our 3rd time and have stayed in a different lodge each time. I can honestly say they have all been fantastic,very clean with everything you need for a home from home stay.
We always have a dog friendly lodge which are secure around the decking area.
Will definitely be booking again as it’s so near to cheddar and we have family in western super mare.
I would recommend strawberry fields 5* lodges.

we were delighted with our lodge which was immaculate and so well equipped. the hot tub was checked daily and maintained a perfect temperature. we really could not fault a single thing and was pleased me spent my husband 50th birthday there. close enough to everything if you want to venture out. staff were warm and welcoming. will stay again. deposit was returned in full the next day.

I stayed with my husband and two dogs and had a lovely stay. The lodge was very luxurious, really clean and comfortable and we didn’t want to leave. The staff were really helpful and friendly and couldn’t do more to assist us.

We arrived on a Friday and were pleased to find a bottle of wine, tea bags, coffee pods, biscuits and 1 pint of milk to get us up and running.

We'd arranged.for a shop to be delivered as we wanted to chill out in the lodge, when we opened the oven it was clear it hadn't been cleaned properly and the cleaning function programme was flashing on the display. We gave it a clean as best we could and ran the programme which meant we ate later than planned as it took an hour.

There was dishwasher tablets and cleaning cloths provided but no washing up liquid but we bought some as were not sure if it was included.

The kitchen needs to be equipped with chopping boards or surface savers as there is nowhere to chop or slice food.

Beds were super comfy, nice shower and the hot tub was excellent.

Overall we enjoyed our stay but it was let down by a few minor issues that could have made it outstanding.

Final point the recycling for waste at the top of the road by the pub is quite a distance if you have several bags to carry. I did not want these in my car so walked up with them but a suggestion could be to get guests to leave them outside the lodges and they could be collected in a van before the cleaners come in.

Thank you for your review and feedback, we are sorry that there were points of your stay that were not up to scratch. The housekeepers were called for refresher training that morning on the points raised. There should have been a chopping board as there is one in each lodge and this should have been replaced for your arrival, please accept our apologies for this also. With regards to waste and recycling, we are looking to trial a new system of collection. It proves tricky as guests leave at all different times and we do not want refuse left outside of lodges for hours/overnight. We also cannot collect waste in the same van that carries fresh laundry. We take on board your feedback though and will try our best to make it work. Best wishes

Mike and the team always make our stay a great one and this was no different. The lodge was amazing as always and it was another peaceful break away for our babymoon. My wife also enjoyed having a massage booked in at the lodge which was an added treat whilst I made the most of the hot tub.
We look forward to coming back again as soon as we can as this is our go to place when it comes to a relaxing break away.

This lodge is ideal for if you have doggos coming with you as the inside outdoor area is all secure for them to run around safely. Both bedrooms are amazing and spacious. The kitchen has everything you needed to cook comfortably. However maybe a good bin would help with disposing food waste. The bathrooms were of a good standard. The living areas were good too. The best feature was the hot tub which was awesome. All in all we had an amazing stay and give it 9 out of 10

We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay at Strawberryfield and our puppy’s first holiday!
The location is perfect if you want a quiet, rural, peaceful stay to switch off. The lodge had everything you needed and even the finer detail had been thought of, comfy, spacious, clean. Even the basics were supplied upon our arrival ie. Milk, water, wine. The staff were welcoming, approachable and very helpful! We would definitely recommend..

Our 2nd time at strawberryfield park, if you want a quiet relaxing holiday this is the place to go. Being able to have our dogs with us made us feel home from home, lovely places to walk our dogs.
Myself and my daughter throughly enjoyed the hot tub this was the highlight of our stay as we needed to unwind. See you again soon xx

We found these lodges by accident and thought it sounded too good to be true to be honest, on arrival the accommodation turned out to be far above our expectations, well cleaned and a real Christmas tree, we were very comfortable at all times. we managed to get in the hot tub on a couple of days of our busy stay. we took the opportunity to go and explore wookey hole and cheddar gorge. the service was great when we did need to speak to someone but were left alone for our stay.

We have now been to Strawberry Fields on 3 occasions and every time we go, we just come away very relaxed and chilled and enjoyed our stay on every occasion. We have stayed in 3 different lodges and while they have all been a little different, we have never been disappointed. On our last visit we took our dog, as the Park offers dog friendly options and provides walks and facilities for dog owners, which were much appreciated. We will return for our 4 visit soon. Thanks to all the staff at Strawberry Fields for providing an excellent holiday experience.

This was our second stay in Honeyhurst - the perfect place for a restful break. Such an amazing , relaxing holiday accommodation. The lodge is fantastic - all mod cons, clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved the decking area for sitting out
( lucky enough to have a sunny October stay). The hot tub was great, especially afte long walks with the dog and the log burner was a lovely way to end the day. There are lots of places to visit nearby but you could easily spend your time purely relaxing in the lodge. Thanks for another wonderful stay. Hopefully we will be back again soon.

Relaxing stay as always just some maintenance needs to be done as some lodges are looking tired. The tv’s need to be replaced or updated as they keep turning themselves off or not working, considering the price of them they aren’t very good. We have had the same issues with the tv’s in 3 different lodges.
Also the lodge we stayed in needed some new kitchen utensils, chopping board and frying pans … they were all scratched to death no excuse for how cheap you can replace them.
The hot tub also was dirty had to wipe all around the sides with a wipe and could clearly see dirt and we hadn’t been in it.
The site is in a lovely location and always smells fresh and clean when arriving in the lodge. Just a few small things need to be updated , which reflects the prices being charged.

We try to replace all kitchen items as soon as needed. With regards to the hot tub, this should not have been the case as they are drained and cleaned upon each change over. We had a lovely weekend relaxing at Honeyhurst lodge. Everything was spottlessly clean and we loved the hot tub. Perfect location for exploring Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would certainly recommend.
Just a couple of minor observations, the rug in the lounge was looking a bit tired and could do with updating. Also, it would have been nice to have provided a washing up sponge and cloth for the kitchen. Fortunately, we had brought our own.

Stunning holiday lodge, very clean and had everything we could need for our relaxing break. Location was very peaceful but near to places to visit such as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and the coast. Second time staying at Strawberryfield Park & it won't be our last. Perfect location for exploring around & about, visited Stonehenge, Salisbury, Longleat, Bath to name a few. Accommodation is 1st class with all modern amenities and very quiet and private. Could not recommend this place enough and Cheddar has some fantastic eating places including Lion Rock tea room, the Bath Arms and the best Sunday lunch ever at the gardeners arms (booking essential). Overall you will not be disappointed if you stay here :)

We had a lovely stay, after three years of waiting due to Covid, it was lovely to be in a modern, clean lodge that had everything we needed! The hot tub could have been warmer, but the extra touches of the star-like lights made up for it! Beautiful lodge and great location and we are looking at going back next year!

This was the second time we stayed on the park, Honeyhurst is a beautiful lodge. We had everything we needed in the lodge and plenty of space for 4 of us abs a dog. The beds are large and very comfortable. Shower wonderfully powerful.everything was we had a couple of minor issues which were resolved quickly and easily. The outside decking with hot tub is spacious and most importantly secure when you have a dog. We can’t wait to come back again. It’s so good here the only thing that troubled us was how to work the television and in the double room you have to open a door to let air in. Perhaps the non opening window could be split to open half. We got very lucky with the weather but no cushions were available for outside. The kitchen is really well stocked with utensils etc which is rare and much appreciated. These really are beautiful and luxurious lodges.

We had a lovely time we stayed Monday - Friday. The lodge was very clean one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in which was lovely. The only thing that spoiled it was the weather we had to leave early due to this. I would recommend this lodge. We also had a massage from Jo who came to our lodge on the Thursday, it was amazing! This place is great, pretty much in the middle of nowhere which is just what we wanted. But not far to places like Cheddar etc.

We stayed at the Honeyhurst lodge for 3 nights in January and we loved it. The lodge is done up to a high standard, it’s modern and spacious. The lodge is dog friendly so we were able to bring our pooch along with us- she too had a very relaxing time. The lodge provided parking for two cars directly outside. Check in and out was contactless. We’ve never had such a peaceful break- we saw 4 people the whole time, the park is incredibly quite. There’s plenty of space to go for a short stroll around the park or a trip in the car- fuel station 10 mins away, garden centre 2 mins away, food shop 5 mins away, cheddar gorge 5 mins away so there’s plenty to do. We especially loved the log burner and the hot tub- robes and slippers were provided for extra comfort. The only problems we had was with the tv, it’s a very modern tv and we found it overly complex and we’re no technophobes. The lodge also has an Apple TV which we also couldn’t get to function. We did bring our own Apple TV however this too wouldn’t connect to the tv which was a shame. Thankfully we took our laptop so we used that to watch tv. Overall we had a wonderful few days at the Honeyhurst and would definitely return again.

We just love this place, it’s our home from home, and we always visit twice yearly as our little breaks with our 14 year old Labrador Chloe.
Strawberry fields is just the perfect location for Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Wells and other beautiful places. Lodges are always spotless and have everything you need for the self catering experience, or you can eat out in the many lovely places close by.

If there is such a place as Heaven, this is hopefully what it’s like.

From opening the door of the lodge to lifting the hot tub cover and stepping in - everything about Strawberry Fields oozes quality and luxury. The beds are incredibly comfy - I googled the quilts because they were unreal and they cost 280£

After speaking to the owner I realised his dream. He wanted to offer his clients the very beat in luxury topped off with a superb location a few miles from Cheddar. The lodge was spotlessly clean when I went in and you want for nothing. Pans plates glasses utensils bbq etc EVERYTHING

Loved our stay at Strawberryfield Park, so relaxing, the lodges are amazing, spotlessly clean, well equipped and thoughtfully laid out so that each one has it’s own privacy. The price is a little more than we would normally pay as it was a treat for two special birthdays, but after staying at the park you do only get what you pay for and therefore would consider it good value for money. It was our first visit but hopefully not our last as we didn’t have time to explore the area as much as we would have liked. Have highly recommended to family and friends.

This was our third visit to Strawberryfield Park and again it didn’t fail to please. We stayed in a different lodge this time and loved the extra space. We were already booked to return to this lodge in September for our fourth visit but while we were there we booked to return for our fifth visit and are taking our daughter and partner with us - surely that is good enough review to encourage people to try this place. It is just ideal for peace, quiet and relaxation and plenty of places to take your dog if you have one

We had the best stay at Strawberry fields. It was such a nice romantic getaway especially after coming out of lockdown. I would recommend coming here to all my friends and family and I will definitely be coming back. The only problem we had was with the TV as it kept switching off on it own and it was very slow, otherwise everything was perfect!

Third time and didn’t disappoint. This was my favourite of the three lodges we have stayed in but all have been amazing. Finished to a high standard, all the equipment you need for self catering, beautiful location and you feel instantly calm when here. Our stay at the lodge was lovely. It felt like they had thought of everything, including the little orchard at the bottom of the park for dogs to have a run around. The lodge itself was so spacious inside and out which was perfect for our dog. It certainly has the wow factor as soon as you walk in - the decor and layout were lovely. Robes and slippers were provided as well as two towels per person (one for the hot tub and one for the bathroom) which was a nice touch! It was very clean and fresh inside too. We will definitely be returning to strawberryfield park! Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had the best stay at Strawberryfields Park. My husband and I, our 2 children & our dog, stayed in the Honeyhurst Lodge and we couldn’t fault it. Immaculately clean and superbly well equipped. It’s location was perfect for us. Plenty of space all around with fantastic views and picturesque scenery. The outdoor space of our lodge was excellent. If I’m being really picky, the only thing we needed was an extra fan for the other bedroom. The weather was wonderful and so hot, but this meant the lodge also got very hot so could have done with another fan.

We stayed at Honeyhurst for a friends birthday, the owner was extremely friendly and made an effort to come and meet us all, Ashleigh in the office? Was very helpful with organising the decorations for the lodge! (It looked great)

Overall the lodge was clean and beautifully decorated along with being very comfy beds!

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend to friends along with us coming back again in the future!
