We had a four night stay in Mulberry Lodge. The location is a great for visiting Cheder and Wells. The lodge itself is immaculate. Great kitchen with everything you need. Everything just worked, kettle, toaster, coffee machine with no problems. Cosy sofa and bed. Use the hot tub every morning and night. .Will be going back.

The décor. The whole place is just lovely.

Mulberry Lodge is like an upgraded, top of the range, hotel suite. On arrival I was silenced by the beautiful, modern, spotlessly clean areas & every room had the wow factor. First night we sat in the hot tub looking up at the lights in the ceiling of the outdoor area & it was just magical. The log burner was perfect & a real treat as we don’t have one at home. The kitchen was wonderful, not one thing missing, every item thought out so carefully. The bathroom was so luxurious with underfloor heating which was just perfect. The shower was fab & so roomy, & that bath was gorgeous. Just can’t rate this place high enough & kudos to the entire housekeeping team who work so hard in keeping this lodge to the high standard it is. Thank you to Mike for his initiative & making this place a dream holiday destination.

Our stay in Mulberry Lodge was so relaxing.
The accommodation was just perfect with everything and more that you could possibly need. The hot tub was great to have.
The site is in a great Location to be able to go exploring. It's also very quiet and peaceful.

Upon arrival, we were very impressed with the appearance of Mulberry Lodge: the layout of the rooms and furniture was very luxurious. We used the kitchen the first evening, where cleaning products (sponge, dishcloth, washing up liquid) were all provided. Unfortunately, a few cooking appliances were not entirely clean, so had to be washed before use.

The sofa in the living room area was not the most comfortable to sit on: the cushions had lost a lot of their padding and there was little room to be able to put your feet up and watch a movie.

The outside decking area was where we spent most of our time, when we were relaxing at the lodge: the outdoor sofa area with the star-like lights were beautiful to have on at night time, along with the hot tub which we spent many hours in! We enjoyed and appreciated the privacy of the hot tub, which was surrounded by a tall hedge, so we did not feel like we were being watched. The cushions for the sun loungers were very comfortable and ideal during our stay, which happened to be in 30 degree weather!

The bathroom was an amazing size, though unfortunately, the lights around the bath on the floor were not working, and the taps were slightly stiff which led to water spraying everywhere when trying to turn them on slowly.

The bedroom was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable to sleep in. We appreciated having such incredible weather during our trip away. However, as the lodge is only one floor, it did get extremely warm and stagnant when we would return from our day out, which was not very pleasant. We were very grateful for the fan that was provided and being able to open the sliding doors to make a slightly cooler environment, but this was still not satisfactory. I would recommend potentially investing in air conditioning, to ensure that the lodges can remain at a cool and steady temperature during the warmer weather.

Overall, this was a stunning lodge to stay in, and we would definitely recommend to others!

Please accept our apologies that some of the appliances were to cleaned to our usual high standard, we would have happily rectified this for you had we known, but appreciate you may not have wanted the intrusion. I have passed your feedback regarding the bathroom on to the maintenance team who will investigate. Unfortunately there is an issue with the bath up lights which is taking longer than expected to fix. We appreciate that air con may feel necessary in a heat wave as it does in most buildings in the UK, however it is a hinge investment for a small business with only a small proportion of very hot weather per summer. Was a fantastic lodge, beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and really spacious.
The hot tub was a great feature and the twinkly lights in the evening a nice touch. Can't wait to return to the park.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he loved it! It was everything we wanted and more. Very spacious with also that cosy and warmth feeling to it. Would 100% come again and recommend to anyone wanting a weekend break away. We were able to go on some nice walks around the area and climb some hills with beautiful views.

It was absolutely perfect! Every little touch was thought of by the team, even a little card and bottle of champagne on our arrival!
The lodge itself was clean, stocked full of everything you needed and was brilliantly designed. The hot tub was lovely and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. I would recommend anyone to stay! Great location, 5 minutes from cheddar.

Mulberry Lodge was so comfortable, cosy and had a well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was an added bonus and made it extra special.
Strawberry Field Park was a great location to see all the local sights of Cheddar, Wookey Hole and Wells.

Mike and the team have done a great job with their set up at Strawberryfield Park, growing into something special ever since the first lodge was available and everything is always presented in the best possible way. Having stayed in multiple lodges on the site, Mulberry Lodge was no different in terms of quality and we can't wait to return at some point to have another relaxing break away. There's also plenty to do nearby and it was nice to take a short walk to the cider barn and have a drink with the friendly locals and others on their break away. We'll be back soon!

Beautiful Lodge!! surrounded by beautiful scenery!! We will definitely be staying again…. The only thing we could say which would improve the Lodge is more privacy around the hot tub as it backs on to the private road and view from lodge next door

Excellent lodge very modern. Didn't like that the private hot tub backed onto a lane with people walking past and many cars feel like the fence should be a lot higher and parking at the lodge Is a bit tight and i have a small car too and the tv is dated now and the sofa had old crisp in-between the cushions otherwise great lodge great place had a great time loved it
would recommend would go again.

We are sorry to hear that you felt disappointed with your stay. The timed pillar lighting on the path has been in place for a few years now and doesn't usually cause a problem. We of course take your feedback seriously and will liaise with future guests on whether they find it an issue and look at changing it if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mulberry Lodge for our minimoon this August.

The directions sent prior to departure were easy to follow and we had no problems locating or entering the lodge. The place was spotless and it gave us a real sense of home away from home with the clever attention to detail throughout. The range of facilities were great (especially the hot tub!).

Location was lovely, in a real picturesque area of Somerset and just a short drive from the stunning Cheddar Gorge or city of Wells in the other direction. Customer service was great, we needed some assistance with the hot tub, but this was dealt with promptly and didn't cause any negative impact on the break.

All in all, we had a fantastic stay here and can't wait to return with some of our friends next year! Thank you.

A lovely time had within the lodge, during the summer the blinds let a larger amount of light in so can be bright and wake up early with the morning light, but otherwise an amazing time, all provisions present that were needed, lovely hot tub, good self catering facilities, not left wanting for anything.

Having had several holidays in similar types of lodge, we felt that Mulberry Lodge fell someway short of what we were expecting for the price paid.
Mulberry Lodge is designed and fitted out to a very high standard, very private, and Strawberryfield Park is perfectly situated to visit the many attractions that the area has to offer. Unfortunately several aspects prevent us from giving it a 5 star rating.

Apart from the induction hob there were no instructions for the various appliances and TVs.
The hinge on the dishwasher needs attention as it crashes straight down to the floor. The door of the wine cooler doesn't close properly causing the alarm to bleep constantly. One of the main roller blinds in the lounge needs attention as it tends to unwind of its own accord.
Outside, the decking had not been cleared of last years Autumn leaves; the metal breakfast table and chairs were full of rust; the sunbeds were not those from the pictures on the website, but a pair of clunky uncomfortable wooden ones with very thin mattresses.
While private, Mulberry Lodge does not offer peace and quiet being separated from a well used (pedestrians, cars and tractors) lane by just the width of the hedge. This aspect was not helped by the maintenance team trimming trees and hedges of the next door lodge while we were trying to relax on the patio!!
While some of this may appear to be nit-picking, we paid at the top end of market price and feel justified in expecting the perfection offered by the website.

Firstly let me say that I have never been to a holiday venue like this ,their lodges ensure your complete comfort during your stay . Our bed was so comfy and roomy, kitchen equipped for anything, decor tasteful and relaxing and all spotlessly clean . Hot tub was great with twinkling lights at night in the covered deck area which are just a wonderful touch . Needless to say we’ll be back .

The best experience! We really enjoyed our stay at Strawberry Fields celebrating our 5th anniversary together. We made the most of our time in the lodge due to going through 2 storms! But I wouldn’t change it. Bed is really comfortable, bathroom has everything you need, kitchen appliances are hard to work out at first as it took us nearly over an hour to cook a pizza.. but we did it in the end! The lodge has everything you need. We will be seeing you again very soon Strawberry Fields.

We had a great return visit to Mulberry Lodge. A lot of extra details that make the stay home from home. We loved the under floor heating, the hidden dressing room in the wardrobe & loved the bathroom it was beautiful.

We had a few bits which we would have expected to be fixed prior to our arrival - there were a number of lights out in the kitchen which made prepping food a little difficult to see! The lamp in the lounge was constantly flickering so we had to turn it off. The blind in the lounge was broken on arrival which meant whilst we had the log burner on we couldn’t have the blind half way down as it just dropped to the floor. We had a few problems with the temperature of the oven which never seemed to get up to temperature which spoilt some evenings meals!

The hot tub was great, never disappointed.

Overall, despite the niggles above, we really enjoyed our break. It flew by and we wish we were there for longer!

Fantastic place to stay, plenty around in driving/walking distance. We stayed from Monday-Friday, everything there on arrival and absolutely beautiful place too stay! Only downfall is it wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked it too be but that’s personal judgement, also the bugs!! Pretty sure there was a wasps nest on top of our lodge & little bugs and flys were always in but other than that was an amazing week and will probably go back

We enjoyed our stay at the mulberry lodge it is a perfect base to be able to visit the surrounding area. We had lovely weather and was able to use the hot tub quite frequently, and will look to return very soon.

Took my Girlfriend here for her birthday as a surprise and I think it's safe to say we both had the most amazing weekend ever, she was so surprised and loved the lodge. the lodge is well equipped with all needed mod cons, beautiful kitchen and the hot tub was amazing in the sunshine. large decking area with bbq and outdoor table and chairs very clean and spacious. will definitely be booking again.

The location was nice as was the park as a whole. Lodge was nice and we really relaxed. Luxury hamper was good and we liked the contactless check in, and being left alone. Outside space with undercover area was great for relaxing outside and we were lucky with the weather. Slept really well too, very comfy bed.

Fantastic location for so many walks, superb lodge to relax in after a long walk. Morning coffee out side under the twinkle lights and hot tub every night!! We loved it !

One of the nicest lodges we have stayed in. Lodge needed a couple of bits fixing. The toilet roll holder was broken and 2 of jets in hottub popped out if jets was on. Due to this couldn't use jets. Would also advise a blind at front door as one side of bedroom was very bright at night due to light coming in from road lighting.

Such a lovely weekend away with my husband. The lodge was very special with all the mod cons and more. The best bit for me was the outdoor area with the hot tub and star affect ceiling.

On the whole the property was excellent, there were a few issues that could be addressed, sun loungers very tatty looking , fridge door needs to be pushed shut, wine cooler unable to cool down and was covered with ice at the back, could be an issue with door not closing properly. Also lights around bath one was not working. More cups and plates to be able to use the dishwasher more economical, but understand this maybe due to current Covid situation. None of theses small problems would stop us booking again.
