Booked the accommodation for a pre Christmas mini-break after a tough year.

Before we arrived, we were contacted to inform us that the log burner in our lodge was out of action but there was no issue in moving us to another lodge. The staff were very friendly and helpful in facilitating this.

The accommodation was superb, very clean with all amenities available, including a hot tub. Very relaxing and we were able to chill out.

The site was in a beautiful location within the Cheddar Gorge, very close to both the town of Cheddar and the city of Wells, with its stunning Cathedral and attractions. Lovely at this time of year with the Christmas decorations.

Would definitely come back and recommend.

It was a last minute change from the original lodge but it had all the amenities we were looking for.

Lovely view days here with Hubby.
We stayed in Charterhouse 5 years ago and this time Nyland lodge.
Both lovely. Nylands terrace and hot tub very private not overlooked. Loved spending the evening relaxing in the hot tub.
Great location with Wells a short drive away.
Clarks village is great for shopping.
Lots of beautiful walks.
Will definitely return again.

We had a wonderful week staying in Nyland Lodge. It was the perfect location to celebrate our Anniversary. The lodge is beautiful and spotlessly clean and the hot tub was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic place to go and relax, so comfortable and homely, quiet and clean. Hot tub was gert lush and the outside decking area was beautiful especially with the twinkling skylights. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.

Very nice place to stay
Only few things I will say the bed wasn’t comfortable all I could feel was springs when trying to sleep, and the shower kept going hot and cold for some reason. Also the screen didn’t work on the hot tub so I couldn’t see what temperature it was as in Friday it night it was very hot and couldn’t actually use it because how hot it was.

Had an amazing time so cozy and such a good getaway had small issue with the WiFi but that was corrected as soon as staff worked out what it was, friendly and approachable staff when we needed help would 10000000% book again, thank you so much guys !

The lodge was amazing the attention to detail was excellent and the hot tub just sealed the deal, brilliant location and lots to see and do. The only downside was the road behind the lodge which did spoil the peace and quiet and a couple of small things in the lodge needed some attention. But would 100% stay there again and would highly recommend to anyone and although we didn't see any staff they do brilliant job on keeping the lodges to a high standard

Usually the track is a quiet track only used by locals but unfortunately we don't get notified should there be any projects taking place that involve delivery lorries etc; we are sorry if there was a lot of disturbance during your stay. One of the best places to have a mini break. The lodge is superb and if I could live in it, I would move there now. The only thing that bothered us slightly was that part of the hedge has been cut back revealing more of the road and making the hot tub facility less private. Apart from that, it was so nice to switch off and relax after a busy week, in such a lovely place.

The Nyland lodge certainly has that wow factor as soon as you walk in, you almost pinch yourself that that’s where you’re lucky enough to stay for the next few days! Lovely touches such as the welcome bottle of wine was really appreciated after the long drive! It seems that no expense was spared to make such a high quality product; great TV with surround sound and neff appliances for example all added to the comfort. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Strawberry field Park was easy to find, and the emails with detailed directions was a great help. We were met by staff on the approach to our lodge. They were very welcoming and asked us if we needed anything. They said they will pop in before 6pm to check that everything was ok for us.
The Lodge was lovely and clean and inviting. The standard of the furniture was excellent, and thought had gone into every detail including the accessories that colour coordinated throughout the luxury lodge.

We had ordered the breakfast hamper, which was well worth the money knowing everything was locally soured. It was then an extra bonus when you tasted the bacon and sausages and eggs. Followed by toast with locally sourced butter that melted into your slices of toast. There was also tea and sugar left for you and some milk, although some milk was included in the breakfast hamper. They have a coffee machine for you to use and had left a selection of coffee pods for you to try.

The bed was a 6ft bed, and ever so comfy. I haven't slept like I had slept in that bed for a very long time. The pillows were also very comfy. The bed lit up around the base, which gave a lovely feel to the bedroom. There was a small TV on the wall of the bedroom, which was sufficient enough.

The bathroom was very spacious and had a large rainfall shower you could just walk into. Lovely and hot and easy to use and control. The bath was a stand-alone bath with sunken in floor lights around the front edge. Very nicely decorated with large dark grey tiles on the floor.

The Kitchen was very well equipped if you were thinking of doing a little cooking. Tall fridge freezer, cooker, microwave and hob. all the utensils you could think of and a few more. You had a breakfast bar and a dining table, that led you into the lounge which is the other part of the large open plan building. This had a really comfortable sofa and an armchair. It had a large TV with stand-alone speakers either side. You had a DVD player and also you could log into your Amazon or Netflix account if you so wished.

The lodge came with free WiFi and we had no connection issues.

The outside space had a great Hot Tub for you to use. It was private and well secluded. The Hot Tub was clean and working and very warm. It was a great addition to the lodge. The outside space also included a couple of sun loungers, table and chairs and BBQ.
You also have your own parking space next to your lodge.

To conclude it was worth every penny. It is advertised as luxury, and it is. The staff are 5 Star. The area is lovely and quiet. There is a pub at the top of the park, before you enter Strawberry fields that specialize in cider. they do meals, but we did not participate in the food this time round, but the cider is good. Not a lot more I can say apart from if you are looking for a luxury holiday in a Lodge and have been disappointed in other places you have stayed. Then visit Strawberry field Park Luxury Lodges. You will not be disappointed. You will be blown away.

Also, lots of local attractions on the doorstep. Chedder Gorge being the main one.

We spent a week at Nyland Lodge and it was a wonderful holiday. From the booking to the arrival, everything was easy and Mike and Lucy couldn’t be more helpful with accommodating my requests and nothing was ever to much trouble for them.

The lodge is spotless, all bedding and towels are of excellent quality. The TV equipment etc is all high end and it did feel very luxurious. I marked down one star on the comfort rating as I did find the sofa a tad small and not very comfortable but it’s just my personal preference.

The hot tub was brilliant and maintained to the highest standard, the star lights in the outside seating area really made the evening soak extra relaxing.

The location was perfect too, close to Cheddar with its stunning landscape and amenities. It is an easy drive to Wells and Glastonbury and we also visited Bath and Longleat.

All in all I recommend Strawberry Field Park if you want a self catering break with a wow factor!

Lovely lodge with very good fittings and fixtures, a real home from home, nothing scrimped on at all. Great deck area and hot tub and all staff we met very pleasant. A couple of things to note Nyland Lodge does back on to a busy road and the parking is very tight in a Range Rover. Think next time I would book a lodge in the other field, further away from road and more spaced out so bigger parking space.
The Cider Barn at the top was great value and did some amazing pizza. There is a bus stop just up the road with a regular bus between W.S.M and Wells. Local community shop had good selection of food and drink.

Amazing and luxurious lodge, perfect little get away in a great location. Quite enough for you to enjoy the bliss while also being short drives from nearby places (Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Bath, Bristol) Hot Tub was lovely, private and cosy setting. Great facilities. We also ordered the Breakfast Hamper which was a great added touch. Already planning our next trip.

We stayed at the Nyland lodge for 4 nights at the end of November and we were blown away, it is absolutely stunning and you can’t fault a single thing! We loved being in the countryside but also not being that far from activities or other cities.
It was so peaceful and quiet which made our stay even more relaxing, added bonus having a hot tub too! On arrival a lovely lady from the park knocked on to ensure we were happy with everything and to let us know what to do/where to go if we needed anything and she also came back just before we left, this was lovely and made us want to come back even more!
We can’t wait to stay at another lodge at the park hopefully next year, this lodge was truly stunning and there are really no other words for our stay other than we had the best time and was able to unwind at ease, thank you so much for having us!

Lovely place my only criticism would be the jacuzzi lovely but forget star gazing as the trees and lodge stops your views (please cut back trees bushes )

Had a wonderful time the lodge is amazing loved the area too . Just a couple of small thing . It was a shame that the area where the hot tub was not clear of leaves that morning, it was cleaned but two days before we got there , also a proper sized ironing board it has the space to store it .

We stayed in The Nyland Lodge it was amazing, the style and facilities were very modern. It had everything we needed for our stay, we are definitely booking again.

I booked this for my partners 30th birthday and he loved it, we posted a video on social media of the lodge and had so many friends asking where we went as looking to book.

Can’t recommend this place enough. I couldn’t have stayed for longer than 4 days and didn’t want to leave

Couldn’t really fault anything only thing we would say is net for the hot tub to catch the fallen plants due to the location of the trees above (but this wasn’t even an issue because everything else was perfect). Bulbs in kitchen/ lamp blown,but obviously hadn't been checked before our stay as we understand blubs can go anytime. Dishwasher not unloaded from previous people. Found clumps of fluff plus back of earring , when there was suppose to of been a thorough covid clean and an hour taken away from our arrival time.It would of been curtious to have been told somebody would be just walking around to check the hot tub( glad it's being checked) just a bit of info on this! Food splatters up behind bin clearly visible! Maybe info on how to operate the appliances,as everything isn't self explanatory,as hob had been turned off by main switch which we eventually found under the rear of island. Inventory was unhelpful,as it never stated how much of each item!Extra cutlery would of been helpful! Maybe trees trimmed back over hot tub area would be useful to stop alot of leafs/ pollen falling into hot tub.That didn't spoil our usage though just a suggestion.

Nyland lodge was an absolute dream to stay in, the lodge was so much bigger then we expected was so Morden inside. The technology inside was outstanding especially the tv, we were also provided will an Apple TV which meant we could watch Netflix, Amazon prime ect. The WiFi signal was so good. However the highlight of our stay was obviously the hot tub. I have already recommended strawberryfields to quite a few people. But if you’re wondering about going, please go you will not regret it

We loved our stay at Nyland Lodge, it was so clean, the place was so modern and well kept. The hot tub with the star lights were spectacular, however I wish the garden area was more private and enclosed as the lodges are very close together so the neighbouring party can see into your garden. The bedroom was lovely and modern with romantic lighting, however the bed wasn’t the comfiest & the duvet was so thin, maybe a bit too thin for October. The kitchen, bathroom and living space were spotless, lots of amazing little touches throughout. I was expecting more than a tiny bottle of milk in a welcome pack on arrival, we’ve stayed in cheaper places before but to the same standard and they provided a full hamper of goodies - I appreciate that COVID is around but still I would have liked to seen a little more for the price. The place was lovely and warm and we loved the contactless check in. There are some fab restaurants around aswell. We were sad to say goodbye, however on departure we read in the book provided that we had to strip the bed & empty our bin and take it the bins outside. I thought this was quite cheeky, considering you are paying over £600 for a three night stay I thought this was inappropriate to ask customers to do this. Despite some minor moans, overall the lodge was lovely, romantic and memorable. We will definitely be coming back again hopefully for a longer stay and maybe a different lodge to test out. Thank you strawberry fields for a gorgeous weekend.

Me and my partner honestly had the most perfect stay at the Nyland Lodge. I had booked this for my partner's birthday celebrations, and the lodge and location were perfect for a romantic & relaxing stay. After everything that has happened this year surrounding COVID, it was even more appreciated. (The Lodge was also spotless!)

The lodge was so cozy, but also extremely modern and luxurious. It had everything you could've possibly needed, even coming with Milk, Sugar, Tea & Coffee, and other kitchen bits even though it's self-catering! The standard of the lodge overall was 100% five stars. The roof outside was star-lit and absolutely beautiful when you're looking from the hot-tub, it was so relaxing and romantic and such a great addition to the lodge. The bathroom was also beautiful and had a lovely double rainfall shower and deep bathtub which also lit up.

Location wise was also great, you would definitely need a car to get around, but that's not really an issue. Cheddar Gorge was a 10-minute drive, and Bath just under 50 minutes, so lots of options for days out, and then to come back and unwind in the hot-tub! Cheddar has some lovely cafes and restaurants very close too.

Overall, Strawberry Field Park is definitely worth every penny, nothing bad to say! I will definitely be back :)

From the time we opened the door we were soo pleased , the hot tub, decor comfy bed the cider bar. Fantasticly placed, home from home.
Quite very relaxing place and brilliant for our anniversary will definitely return ...

Excellent stay in a lovely area of Somerset. The lodge was very homely and contained all the essentials for a short stay. Will definitely be coming back!

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away. We had to re book as the first one was taken away from us and totally out of all our hands due to lock down, we are glad we did re book as we had such a relaxing stay really enjoyed the views and local area, especially the Hot tub!
On a walk round in the morning to see what the rest of the site looked like, as we arrived at night. We met Mike (owner) who was very nice and welcoming, we had a chat and he gave us some info of the local area.
All in all we loved our stay and will definitely be staying here again.

This was our 2nd year staying here and we love it, we don’t want to stay at any other place, we have another stay booked in may and will probably have another one booked for September shortly, every time we have come it has excelled, amazing place for a break/getaway.

We stayed for a week at the Nyland Lodge at Strawberryfield park and thoroughly enjoyed the whole stay. The lodge was immaculate and had a breakfast and a welcome hamper which was very high quality. They were very attentive when asked anything at all and a great help with all the lists of restaurants and things to do round about. We will definitely be returning to Strawberryfield park in the future

The experience was amazing! We didn't want to leave. It felt so homely and comfortable. The jacuzzi and bbq were in great condition. The pub down the road was welcoming and we went nearly every night.

I liked the recycling scheme they have in place. Facilities were excellent. I'd definitely come again with a bigger group and experience the bigger lodges.

Loved our weekend away here it was amazing! So relaxing and clean. The lodge was such a lovely contemporary modern living space. The Hot tub just made the weekend great! Thank you for such a lovely welcome from the gentleman working there and also a he wished us a safe trip home which I thought was a nice touch!

This was our second visit to Strawberryfield Park and was perfect. The lodge was homely and was the perfect size for 2 of us. The decor and lodge itself is very modern and had everything we could’ve needed for our stay, we’d love to have stayed longer. Owners of the park were lovely and came to visit us shortly after we arrived and the morning before we left to ensure we were happy with our stay and were always on hand to help.

The park is approximately 10 minutes from Cheddar which is definitely worth a visit. As well as Cheddar we’d recommend a trip to Wells which is around the same distance.

StrawberryField Park is a great getaway and we’ll definitely be back to try another lodge!
