We have visited this park numerous times over the past few years. Staying in Mulberry, Deer Leap, Nyland, The Sleights & Pamela’s Meadow. We love the huge corner sofa & log burner in Pamela’s Meadow. So cosy for the winter. All the lodges are beautiful inside, furnished to a high standard and the best equipped lodges we have visited. I’m sure we will be back in 2025!

On arrival the lodge was immaculately clean, really appreciated all the little extras such as milk, coffee, tea, sugar, dishwasher pods etc. the lodge felt cosy and warm throughout our stay. The hot tub was always at temperature. I loved the starlight canopy at night. I stay in lodges in the Somerset area every year with friends and this lodge was my favourite to date. It definitely felt 5*. The log burner was amazing too. The park is beautiful and all staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful especially the maintenance staff who I stopped to talk to whilst taking a walk around the park. I can see why people return every year. I would highly recommended Strawberryfield park and will definitely be returning.

Great stay in Pamela's Meadow lodge. Great space for a small family. All the things you need to be comfortable. Great outdoor space including the hot tub. Lots of local places to go and visit. We particularly enjoyed Cheddar. Would return to Strawberry Park!

We booked Strawberryfield Park for a girls weekend away (2 of us) and the location, lodge and everything in between did not disappoint! From the initial moment we stepped foot into our lodge we were delighted with it! The check in process was seamless, the key was left in the door for you simply to enter your lodge at the check in time allocated. Pamela's Meadow was spotless and had everything (and more) we could have hoped for! The outdoor space was amazing, 2 separate table areas to sit / relax, sunbeds and not to mention the amazing hot tub (which we made complete use of daily!) and the BBQ area which we also made good use off! The kitchen had everything we needed, the appliances all high end and of top quality. Water / biscuits / wine / teas / coffee / sugars / milk were all there for us, along with cleaning items and it really was the nice touches like this which made our stay! The lodge itself was gorgeous, the decor perfect, a huge sofa to lounge on! Despite being a warm weekend, I was adamant we would use the log burner! The bedrooms were also wonderfully decorated - the showers powerful and had everything we both needed in our respective rooms. We got ourselves our daily to Cheddar and did lots of walking so having such a cosy lodge to get back to after long days made our stay perfect! We really couldn't fault anything about our stay! I have raved about it to family and friends and have highly recommended this place!

This was our 4th stay at Strawberry Fields so that in itself says how wonderful it is. Quiet and peaceful, just right for a relaxing stay. Hope to make it again this year!

We stayed in Pamela's Lodge. It has lovely colours in it and was spotless on arrival. Very comfortable beds and really good showers. Wood burner a bonus and made lounge lovely and cosy. Wonderful hot tub used twice daily. The garden area with table and chairs was large and although weather didn't allow us to us it, I imagine it would be a gorgeous later in the year. I recognised most of the flowers and it will look lovely once they are out.

Another lovely time in Pamela's Meadow. Good customer service as there was no hairdryer in the lodge but one arrived in 10 mins from call. We enjoy the peaceful outlook and a few pints at the cider barn. Even managed a trip to Thatchers Farm, which I would recommend.

We are gradually working our way round all the lodges in this super park, this was our 7th I think. All have been topclass. Pamela's Meadow was super clean, well equipped, and the hot tub was used twice daily in the lovely autumn weather. We would have appreciated some all-weather cushions for the outdoor seating as our old bones are creaky! The park management were very quick and accommodating in helping out with an extra last minute request. Before we sadly left, we booked a another lodge again for our next visit. Well done SFP team!

Cabins are well kitted out with everything you need (including nice wine and sparkling water), plenty of towels for the lovely (and sparkling clean) hot tubs. Cabin could do with a bit of attention - tiles wobbly in bathroom, worktop marked in the kitchen marked and various marks on the carpets and furnishings make it a little less than 5 star . Otherwise a lovely stay in beautiful surroundings.

I booked Pamela's Meadow for our family to celebrate a special birthday.

I couldn't have been happier with the quality of accommodation, the well tended landscaping, the peaceful and relaxing environment and the customer service provided by the team at Strawberry fields. Mike the owner, who we had the pleasure of meeting, has created a high end, unique holiday park with an attention to detail and a touch of luxury that is definitely a place to remember.

The lodge was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The secluded sun trap decking area and hot tub were the icing on the cake. I cannot recommend this place enough and I will definitely be booking to stay again.

What made you choose this particular lodge?
It looked bright and airy, it had a hot tub and it was 2 bedroom to accommodate the size of our party. The colours of the decor looked calming and not 'in your face'.

just love pamelas meadow, stayed here twice now, and had a lovely relaxing holiday each time. you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (bliss), but just turn left or right out of the park and just 5 miles down the road you have so much to see and do! lots of places to eat and drink and cheddar is such a lovely little town with so much in it. wells is also a must, lots to see on a wednesday and saturday (market days) and the cathederal is amazing! looking forward to going back to strawberry fields and pamelas meadow cant wait. thank you for a lovely stay mark & julie norfolk x

‘Pamela’s Meadow’ is a very comfortable, and well equipped lodge. The park is well maintained, and appears to be well run.

There were a few issues that meant I did not rate my experience excellent on all counts - those issues were :

No blackout blinds for the bedroom windows - which meant being woken very early -
The sun loungers were very uncomfortable - no cushions were provided -
There were pots of dead plants on the decking -
There were two cracked wine glasses -
We were asked to remove the recycling/rubbish prior to leaving - I have never stayed in a 5* establishment that has expected this of it’s guests -

However, overall our experience was very good, and we had a pleasant stay. The staff we dealt with were courteous, and helpful ( including ‘Pamela’ of Pamela’s Meadow!)

Location, and Pamela was the name of my friend’s late mother!

Thank you for your review. The outdoor furniture in this particular lodge is designed to not need cushions on it. After trying all different ways of maintaining cushioned loungers to a 5* standard, it is just not possible as they are left out and not looked after by guests meaning we are replacing them every year. We decided that spending more money on better designed cushionless loungers would be more eco friendly and would withstand guest use better. We are slowly rolling this out across the park. As you can see from the lodge gallery on the website this lodge has a mix of roller blinds and slatted venetian blinds. I will pass on your feedback to our interiors team to keep in mind when replacing blinds, thank you. I will also pass on to the team regarding the plants and glasses and ensure this is seen to immediately. It was lovely to meet you and we hope we can welcome you back one day.

My husband and I had previously stayed in Pomegranate Lodge and felt that Pamela’s Meadow did not have the same level of comfort or luxury.Both bedrooms were on the small side and the bathrooms were very basic, shower only.No dressing mirror in the twin room making it difficult to dry your hair and do make up.The small dining table was not big enough for 4 people to have meals.I would advise that you have a good check around everything on arrival as there were a few things that we found and had to point out.Be careful not to loose your damage waiver!Outside was well maintained and spacious but totally lacking in any comfortable furniture.All that said we really did enjoy ourselves in this quiet spot in beautiful Somerset and would definitely return but not to this lodge.

Pamela’s Meadow met all expectations and it was great to meet “Pamela” herself.
A minor issue on arrival with the Twin Beds not being set up as a double was resolved to our total satisfaction within 24 hours.
The patio furniture was a little uncomfortable to lie on and could do with updating, a Sun parasol wouldn’t come amiss either, but this is only a minor observation, and certainly wouldn’t stop us from returning.
Thanks to Mike, Lucy and Team for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Lovely place, just a few minor issues.

The BBQ had not been cleaned prior to out arrival.

We met Mike briefly on arrival as he was checking something else, we were lead to believe that someone else would come round and check everything was alright once we had settled in, this did not happen.

The en-suite master, could not be described as ‘luxury’ and certainly not the size of a double bedroom. The entrance to the shower was a squeeze and awkward to get in and out of, there was also a loose floor tile as you stepped out.

Would return but to a different lodge.

Fantastic lodge, the media system was superb, especially as we like to listen to music. Really comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. Beautiful well kept park in a good location. Ideal for a peaceful getaway, enjoyed the hit tub every day. Would recommend the local breakfast pack, the produce was lovely. We will be back.

Had an amazing time here at Pamela's meadow. The lodge was well equipped with everything we could need. It's feels so tranquil and remote but you are only less then 5 miles in either direction from lots of things to do. I would love to stay here again .

5 minutes drive into Cheddar.
Great lodge, well equiped, comfy beds. Log burning heater (if you feel that way inclined)
Large B&O TV, good free wifi connection.

We stayed for a long weekend in the lodge Pamela’s Meadow. On arrival the lodge was clean, warm and inviting. We were lucky enough to be blessed with sunshine too! The setting was so peaceful and we loved sitting out in the morning sunshine by the wild flower garden planted by Pamela herself! The hot tub was a real luxury for us and we enjoyed it throughout our stay. We took the advice of previous visitors and spent one evening in the tub under the stars! It really is a beautiful place! We also ordered a breakfast hamper which was amazing value and very tasty! We will definitely be booking again!

I have booked Strawberryfield Park now for the last 6 years and stayed 8 times with the 9th booked for July!!! (not all in Pamela's Meadow I might add). All the lodges are decorated to a very high standard with quality products and each has its own theme and high levels of indulgence.

Pamela's Meadow is well placed on the site and has beautiful views as do all the lodges. It's quiet and the colour scheme inside is so relaxing and sumptuous. The kitchen equipment is there should you want to dine in or have a takeaway delivered.

This lodge has a beautiful wild flower and herb garden to the side of it and the lodge is named after the owners Mum who will come and tend the garden when needed.

The hot tub is amazing in any weather and I can personally vouch for that. It is kept clean and tested on most days to ensure a perfect dip.

The log burner fire lends itself to a cosy glow whenever you feel the need to relax further, but the lodges are beautifully warm whatever the weather.

The park is well placed for many local visitor attractions and country walks, and as such you can choose to make your stay as busy or chilled as you wish.

The staff on site are very welcoming and leave you to enjoy your break, but are just a phone call away after an initial visit to ensure you are happy with the facilities.

Well done Mike and team for providing luxury, relaxation and comfort at an exceptional level.

We stayed for a long weekend in April and it was just the relaxing break we were looking for. The lodge was gorgeous and had everything we needed, I could have sat in the hot tub all day! Cheddar and the surrounding areas are absolutely lovely. Highly recommend Cheddar cycles for bike hire too, if you want a nice (long but easy) ride try out the Strawberry line up to Yatton. Hope to visit again soon. 5*

Amazing stay at Strawberry fields. We stayed at pamelas meadow which itself was the nicest lodge stay I’ve ever had! So beautiful, clean, comfy and perfect for a girly getaway. Nice area to venture for food etc but even if you didn't want to explore you have everything you need for a very relaxing stay. I can’t wait to come back and visit another lodge.

Booked this for mine and my wifes 10th wedding anniversary and had a 4 night break with no kids, i cannot believe how brilliant the lodges are fully equipped with everything needed, very quiet place with amazing views. We will be returning with the kids next year.

I have stayed at Strawberryfield Park many times now and still it manages to captivate me again and again at any time of year. The surroundings are more beautiful every stay and the lodges are always maintained to an exceptional level. Pamela's Meadow has a soothing colour scheme, very welcoming and well laid out, fully equipt to cater for adults and families alike. The hot tubs are maintained and checked daily and bliss to relax in any time of day or night and in any weather!!!
The quality and love for Strawberryfield Park is clearly evident. The owner Mike is a lovely man and is always approachable and willing to offer help and advise. Strawberryfield Park is a family run venture and its heart warming to see Tom his son committed to ensuring the guests expectations and holiday experiences are fulfilled. Nothing is too much bother and you will always be greated with hello and a smile.
The Cider Barn located near by is a welcoming "pub" and a real introduction to the hard working locals, proper cider, tasty food and live music should you be able to drag yourself out of the hot tub!!
I would absolutely recommend a stay here but be warned, however long you stay its never long enough.

Me and my partner stayed in pamelas meadow. And oh my gosh it was beautiful. We enjoyed every minute and honestly couldn’t fault the place.
Thank you for providing us with such a lovely weekend we will be back!

We stayed mon to fri in Pamelas Meadow Lodge and it was amazing. The space, layout and spec of the lodge was excellent.
The hot tub was loved by all of us too, especially the kids. The lodge park was so quiet even though I’m sure most lodges were occupied, the area around the lodge was private and secluded so you never felt overlooked. Was a really lovely short break with the kids.

We love it here so much it is difficult to tear ourselves away to visit other parts of the country. Pamela's Meadow is located on the newer right hand side of the park. Parking is adjacent to the lodge, which is light, airy and spacious. There is a small decked area with planting by Mike's mother, Pamela, which is lovely to sit out on, whilst eating breakfast. Lots of lawn around the lodges means that this side of the park does not feel claustrophobic nor do you feel overlooked. Great hot tub and covered area adjacent with twinkling ceiling lights mean that you can extend your day long into the night and totally relax whilst listening to the birdsong or lie back and watch the gliders and birds overhead or watch the sun go down. Towels, towelling robes and slippers and plenty of hangers are appreciated. Cider Barn very close by has lots of character(s) with decent food and drink. Lots of things to do and see close by as well as the iconic Gorge. We always feel Somerset is a much overlooked county for a holiday. Two minor issues with lodge - sofas are too low and deep for us to feel truly comfortable and saucepan lids conduct heat. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful property & overall business - customer service was superb from start to finish, the cabin itself felt bigger than it looked in the photos & it was such a treat finishing the day with a dip in the hot tub & then a glass of wine in front of the log burner. We would come back anytime & highly recommend. Thank you to Mike & the team - also to Pamela for planting your beautiful meadow on the terrace, it was a highlight of our stay to sit out and admire it with a coffee on a sunny morning! 5* property

We had an amazing stay here and would recommend to anyone, in fact my parents have already booked and we can’t wait to come back! From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and at home, being a same sex couple we aren’t always welcomed with open arms but felt so comfortable at strawberryfeilds. We loved all the little touches from the letter from Pam in our welcome pack, being able to log into our Netflix account, the stars over the hot tub and all the extra blankets in the cupboards. My partner also loves to cook and to have a fully equipped kitchen she was in her element! There is so much to do and explore round the area and all the information in the welcome pack made it so much easier to find, we especially enjoyed cheddar forger and longleat! Was so lovely to go out for the day and look forward to coming pack to the lodge to relax in the hot tub and curl up by the fire. I couldn’t think of anything else we would need to make our stay anymore enjoyable! Thank you so much!

What an absolutely stunning place. Our lodge provided everything we needed, we had more than enough space, the hot tub was fantastic!!! These lodges are stunning, it took long enough to pick one in the first place and Pamelas Meadow did not disappoint. The location is great, just a short distance from the gorge, plenty of gorgeous walks around, I didn’t want to leave. We nearly drove back on the Monday as I saw a last minute cancellation. We will definitely be back, thank you so much

Just recently returned from a weekend stay at Pamela’s Meadow! What can I say this is the 3rd time I have stayed at the park and quality and attention to detail is second to none ! They are such beautiful lodges in a fabulous location! Will defy be returning for stay number 4

We had the most amazing week from start to end. We didn't want to leave! The lodge was absolutely stunning, the hot tub was amazing, bedrooms, living area and kitchen perfect. Customer service brilliant, We had an issue with the tv, and within a few minutes someone was at the lodge to help us!
Perfect weeks stay for our stay-cation. We can't wait to book to come back to Pamela's meadow in April.

Our family enjoyed a lovely week at Pamela’s Meadow. Extremely comfortable and well equipped lodge with a lovely large deck. Plenty of green space at the side of the lodge, perfect for the children to have a little run around. Each lodge is well spaced from the next. Despite the park being full we barely saw anyone which was very lovely! We would definitely return to Strawberryfield Park.

This lodge was a beautiful home from home, with a very comfortable bed, luxury appliances and great sunset views from the hot tub and terrace area. I assumed from the pictures the hot tub wasn't overlooked, but it's worth mentioning that (on the rare occasion people walk past) it is not 100% secluded from view.

One small inconvenience is that we were only given one dishwasher tablet to last Fri-Monday, and one toilet roll per room. It was a a pain having to try to ration things as we hadn't brought any extra supplies with us (and of course were minimising trips out due to covid).

One evening, I also messaged the owner as one of the nearby lodges was being quite loud after 9pm, and within minutes he had sorted the situation out. We would definitely consider returning!

Stayed at Strawberryfield Park many times and this is my second visit to Pamela's Meadow and both times have been amazing. Summer or Winter the lodge provides comfort and luxury, with outstanding views and a hot tub to die for. The facilities within the lodge are high spec and I needed no extra equipment during my stay as it was all there. The added bonus of both bedrooms having ensuite facilities meant there was little disruption with doors. I will definitely be returning to this family run park. Its location is perfect for local attractions with Cheddar, Wells and Wookey all less that 20 minutes by car. Mike, Tom and the team were welcoming as ever to make our stay seem extra special as returning guests.

My wife, myself and a couple of friends stayed for the weekend at the beginning of March for my wife's Birthday.

We have stayed a few times before at different lodges, with our first time being a long weekend for our honeymoon. We love the surrounding area and see Cheddar as 'Our' place to escape. The Strawberry Fields lodges give us a comfy, cosy place to retreat after a day of sightseeing.

We will definitely be back again next year! ;)

Strawberry Field Park was absolutely lovely. Our lodge Pamelas Meadow was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
We were even welcomed by the owner at the lodge shortly after arrival just to check if everything was ok which was a lovely touch.
Combined with its superb location we will certainly be coming back soon.
