Nice lodges with hot tubs. The site has been well thought out with the outdoor space of the accommodation not overlooked by other lodges making you feel secluded.

What made you choose this particular lodge?
Only one left for our dates that wasn't dog friendly. We do not have a dog and didn't want one that smelt of dog. I booked diamond for our friends and it did smell of dog.

Perry Lodge itself is spacious, well appointed and genuinely very comfortable. The kitchen/diner lounge area provides a large comfortable living space that's ideal for four folks to gather in and share time together. The kitchen was adequately equipped and the appliances were all of a good quality. The dining area provides room enough to enjoy a proper meal in comfort. The two sofas are comfortable and allow enough space to stretch out and enjoy a movie together (again, the TV was good and easy to use). The bedrooms provide genuinely comfortable beds and both bathrooms are well provided for. The decking area is vast and the covered porch with "starlight" lighting is lovely to relax under.
The location is superb for visiting Cheddar & Wookey Hole, Bath, Bristol, Glastonbury, Wells, much of Somerset and the coast around Weston-Super-Mare. The site itself was pleasantly quiet and is very well maintained.
This is our second visit to Strawberryfield Park in 2025 and we intend to return again in 2026.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Perry Lodge and if we ever intend to stay in the area again we would stay here without question. We also would have no hesitation in recommending the site and lodge to anyone else. A few minor negatives...as per other comments, the were many cobwebs both up above around ceilings and doorways and behind bedside lamps etc, the hot tub lid needs fixing so it doesn't keep blowing away in strong winds, it was disappointing to see pretty dirty windows (the inside could at least be cleaned regularly) and personally I think a broom is a must when you have wooden floors throughout. Also the rug in the living area was in need of a clean. The Lodge was definitely clean enough overall and perhaps I am being overly fussy and expecting perfection, but I think when you add '5 star' and 'luxury' to the title, you've got to up your game in the cleanliness department to reflect that (speaking from experience as I used to clean professionally) The staff and location were brilliant, no problems there. One other small point, we notified beforehand that we couldn't have dairy so no point wasting complimentary milk on us...perhaps providing some alternative milk would have been a nice, friendly touch, especially as we couldn't eat the biscuits either. Again, only being picky for 5 star luxury. Overall...a wonderful stay.

Arrived in need of a relaxing few days and it ticked all the boxes. Welcome pack was helpful with standard content though some fresh produce would have been nice. Nesspreso coffee machine was great but would have been helpful to know the pod type before arrival. Furnishings etc were good and comfortable. Bottle of water in each room was nice touch but supplied toiletries not 5*. Hot tub was fantastic and loved the covered outdoor seating area with twinkling star lights above sitting there with a blanket and hot chocolate in the evening. Site was peaceful and more private than most. Would definitely return.

We had a great stay with my two daughters. The Lodge is very nicely appointed with most things you need to survive a week. The hot tub is good and the lodge is beautifully private. Its a bit noisy in its location as its close to the Cider Barn which is pretty lively of an evening with music and general socialsing. Lots of motorbikes there too during the day which wasnt a problem, but you could certainly hear it esp at night. It was great having the Cider Barn there though - we enjoyed a pint of local cider and some food there one evening.

A few bits in the lodge could do with replacing but its not significant. We had a broken kettle switch, oven dial is really difficult to read as its so worn. Its certainly not a deal breaker.
We had a bit of an ant infestation when we were there which was a bother so could do with some ant powder. If Id been staying longer I would have got some and dealt with it.
A lovely grassy area to the back of the lodge which is great for children to play in. Overall very impressed, altough it comes in on the higher side of costs compared to others, but it is lovely and we would return.

It’s a bit unusual to hear noise disturbance from the Cider Barn in this particular lodge, so we appreciate you letting us know. We want every stay to be as peaceful as possible. We also want to mention that there is ant spray provided under the kitchen sink — as we’re in a rural setting, we like to equip guests just in case those rare visitors pop up. We’re sorry to hear about the kettle and oven dial issues; had we known, we would have been more than happy to help with these or the ant situation during your stay. Third visit with another visit booked. If your looking for a cosy lodge that has everything. Then these lodges are some of the best on offer in somerset. I have booked many lodges other the last 7 years but since my first stay in 2033, I have kepted returning, whether that be with family or friends. Everyone has enjoyed the stay.

Overall a lovely stay in a modern well kept lodge and grounds.
Clean, quiet and well maintained site local to Cheddar.
Perry Lodge very clean on arrival and a lovely touch was the wine, biscuits, pint of milk and tea/coffee. Check in very smooth also.
We left a day early however as the beds were too hard for us so bear this in mind if you like a softer mattress.
Hot tub was great fun and checked on every morning.

This is the first negative feedback we have had regarding the beds in this lodge with a couple asking for the mattress type just the week before as they were so comfortable in their opinion. The lodges at Strawberryfield Park are a home from home. They are very well equipped and all you need is your suitcase and a food shopping delivery. The hot tub is a highlight but inside the bedrooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms smart. The kitchen and lounge are big enough for a family of 4 and provide the perfect place to eat and relax together.

We liked the location as it allowed for short journeys to local tourist spots. The staff were at the other end of the phone when we needed them and answered any queries we had.

The grassy space just off the decking meant our kids had somewhere to run around.

We had a fantastic Christmas day at Perry Lodge which was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities anyone would require.
Location is fantastic for walks and visits to Cheddar and the surrounding countryside and strawberry Fields Park itself was very serene and well looked after.

We stayed in Perry lodge for 4 nights, we were looking for somewhere near cheddar gorge and saw online so booked. This is our second time at Strawberryfield park and it didn’t disappoint! The location is so peaceful and the views are stunning! This lodge was beautifully decorated with lots of witty touches (cuckoo clock!), very spacious and airy, but also warm and cosy during a cold winter weekend. A hugely peaceful place, and stylish, and a great place to rest and rejuvenate a bit.

Very happy with lodge but have following comments /suggestions
Large windows streaky marks on outside
Could perhaps benefit from armchairs in place of one of sofas.
Shower seat would be a help for people with mobility issues.

All lodges have different interiors with varying soft furnishings, we would always encourage guests to take a look at the lodge galleries online to ensure they find one to suit them. Had a lovely stay at Strawberryfield Park, we stayed at Perry Lodge. It was lovely and spacious, with lots of cupboard space.
I found out on day 2 that there were fairy lights in the outside area, very pretty. Peaceful location, and space between the lodges. The owners had left a complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice unexpected touch. Would recommend to others. It is more expensive then other places in the area but it is the best lodge we had stayed in.

As usual Perry Lodge was near perfect. Having great weather obviously helped but as this was our third stay in this lodge I think this says it all. The welcome gifts were appreciated, as was the coffee machine.

There are only positives about the whole park and Perry in particular. It is sited on an angle to catch the sun in the covered sitting area right into the evening, and sheltered from breezes. Inside it was immaculately clean as usual and very stylishly furnished. We managed to get our Netflix working on the tv. Always the highlight for us is the hot tub, in it every day, sometimes twice, and up early on departure day for one last dip. We chatted with one of the hardworking gardeners as they were trimming the hedges. A really nice young guy, and proud of how the park looks. We will rebook for the park later this winter and plan to return to Perry next summer.c

We really enjoyed our stay in Perry Lodge. It is in a very quiet location with a gorgeous sunset. The lodge itself was immaculately clean, and were hoping to stay again very soon.

Another great stay at Strawberry Field Park. This time we opted for Perry Lodge. We have always had a faultless holiday here. From arrival we were happy with everything, the contactless check in was easy, everything was clean and the little extras were a nice touch. It was lovely that someone called by at the beginning and the end of our stay. The kitchen was probably the best equipped we’ve ever stayed at. We will definitely be returning

Lovely lodge, great facilities, very well equipped and very comfortable and clean. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Only frustrating thing was that we were unable to contact anybody at the office to report that the hot tub wasn't working, despite ringing both phone lines and sending an email. Although we did see someone from the maintenance team, we were unable to get a progress report on whether it would be fixed or not before the end of our break. We were only able to use it two out of our four nights stay which was disappointing as it was our main reason for choosing Strawberryfield Park.

Excellent stay. Perry lodge is lovely and well equipped. It’s in a beautiful area with plenty to do nearby. The hot tub is absolutely perfect to relax. I love Strawberryfield Park in general. This is our second stay and I’ll definitely be back. There is something very tranquil and calming about the whole place. Really feels like a holiday break.

A very comfortable stay. The lodges are well spread out on this site and you do not feel overlooked. Everything you would expect was provided in the lodge. Hot tub is excellent. Just beware that as this is a pet friendly site you obviously rely on dog owners not letting their dogs bark, which affected the peace and tranquility on some occasions during our stay!

Our second trip to Strawberry Fields, first was several years ago before the new lodges were built. The lodges are lovely, very clean, well maintained and excellently appointed to give privacy. Hot tub was nice and relaxing. Nice little touches with a few complimentary extras such as a bottle of wine and cider chilling in the fridge on arrival.
Would certainly recommend a stay here, plus you take a stroll up to the cider barn where the locals are very friendly.

We couldn’t fault Perry lodge and this is our third visit to the park. We had previously stayed in Cheddar Pink and Perry is just as lovely just a bit smaller but we really liked it. We stayed with our two teenage girls and found lots to do in the local area. The local strawberry’s are amazing and the Chilli at the cider barn was gorgeous. Mike and the team are really helpful when needed. We would throughly recommend staying at Strawberry-field park.

We had a wonderful stay at Perry Lodge. The lodge was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the lodge every evening.

We found the hot tub quite noisy during the night and although the cider barn was convenient to have so close,we hadn't banked on it quite so lively and noisy.

The only thing that could improve the lodge is the addition of a washing machine.

This was our second stay at Perry Lodge. Once again the lodge was spotless on arrival with a few nice touches e.g. milk and wine etc.
The hot tub was very relaxing even though the weather was mainly hot and sunny.

This was our third stay on the Park and our second at Perry. It was immaculately clean on arrival and we felt right back at home. We were in the tub twice daily in the hot weather and used the BBQ five nights out of seven. Just looking to rebook Perry again, which says it all. Well done Mike and your team!

We had an amazing break - lodge is lovely, clean and with everything you need. Spent most of our time on the deck as the weather was great. Hot tub clean and we loved the ‘night sky’ ceiling! We were unable to go abroad this May but a stay here made up for it!

A much needed breakaway was rewarded when we arrived at Perry Lodge. A lovely location, stunning facilities and to our children's delight, a Christmas tree was lit in the lounge/open area on arrival - an appreciated touch. The hot tub and external area with lighting offered a perfect relax on an evening and a change of scenery regardless of the weather. We hope to return when we can. Thank you for all the Covid protection/ cleaning.

This is the perfect setting for a relaxing few days away in luxurious comfort in a lovely part of the UK. The lodge has everything you need and is spotlessly clean, we thought it was brand new. We have just returned from our first ever stay at Strawberry fields park, and even though the weather was terrible we had a superb time. We stayed in the time of covid 19 and thankfully on arrival we found the lodge had been cleaned to a very high standard, making us feel quite safe in our new temporary home. The lodge was very comfortable with high quality fixtures and fittings (large Sony TV and sound bar, Bosch oven and microwave, Webber barbecue) and it definitely felt 5 star accommodation all the way.
We really enjoyed the hot tub, which we used every day, especially enjoying the two sunsets we saw while relaxing in its warm bubbly waters. In fact we loved the place so much we are already planning our next visit, hopefully next year.

We spent 4 nights at the lodge during early September. It’s very clean, well laid out and has a lovely bright interior. We used the hot tub every evening after a day spent out visiting the local area. Great location for sightseeing and activities including Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol and Bath as well as the sea. There were around 8 similar lodges on our section - peaceful surroundings, with well kept lawns and shrubbery. One of the ground rules is to respect neighbours and keep the noise down after 11pm and the manager very helpfully reminded the lodge occupants near us of this. All in all we had a lovely time at Strawberryfield Perry Lodge.

The lodge is gorgeous, private and well equipped. The views are amazing especially around sunset. The site is peaceful and relaxing.

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was absolutely lovely!

There was 4 of us staying and it accommodated all of our needs. It was completely spotless when we arrived with a lovely bottle of wine, water and biscuits for us all.

The information about the lodge and near by attractions and nature walks was very useful!

The hot tub was absolutely lovely, especially as the weather dropped lightly of a night.

This is the second time we have been to Strawberry field lodges and we definitely plan on booking another!

So glad we booked this for after the Christmas season! Something to look forward to And relax to ease ourselves into the new year! We absolutely enjoyed the stay and we got it for a good price too. Whether it rained or the sun shining we definitely made use out of the hot tub haha! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some biscuits on the table which was thoughtful and lovely, the space was great and the lodge was nicely designed Throughout! We wished it was our little holiday home! I recommend friends and family to book a stay there and one of our friends has booked for the autumn season. We are excited for them because they will absolutely love it! :)

My family and I stayed in Perry Lodge over Christmas 2019. This was not our first stay at StrawberryField Park and definitely will not be our last! The lodge is beautiful, the hot tub was used multiple times daily and the outdoor lighting lead to a lovely atmosphere at night.

Would definitely recommended a stay at StrawberryField Park, the location is perfect for lovely walks and plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants.
